I have no idea where this came from? But uhhhh...here have this fic I wrote today on my day off. Should I post a second chapter?

Anyway, sorry for any/all mistakes! Hope you all enjoy! Sorry I posted it on my phone so I couldn't add the "read more" thing!

This is the time that I've just made up for them. I know it's not 100% right but whatever. I got it from TFwiki at least:

"So when were you two gonna tell me about this?"

Prowl and Smokescreen looked up from their respective tables towards the door of the rec room. In it stood a very rare sight; a pissed off Bluestreak. His arms were crossed, doorwings held high in agitation, and face scowling. Two more very rare things followed this, Prowl bit his lip and looked to his elder brother and Smokescreen sighed then stood up to be the mature one.

The rec room went dead silent to watch the trio. Everyone knew the three were brother's, and fights weren't uncommon. However, when a fight broke out it was usually between Smokescreen and Prowl with Bluestreak coming between them. To see Bluestreak mad at one was rare. If he was, he'd usually ask to speak with said brother privately, and sometimes he'd ask the other to join. To see him this mad, and at both, enough to approach them in a public setting? Something big happened.

"Blue-"

"When was I supposed to find out? Next time we see him? Or when he's dropping off his new sparkling? Or when the bot is dropping off a sparkling to us? Or, or, in a few hundred or thousand solar cycles when we run into a bot that looks just like us?!" Bluestreak growled. "Because you know that's how it'll happen!"

"Bluestreak!" Smokescreen yelled, "he's on his way to visit, and the bot is comin' with him."

Bluestreak's optics went wide at this, "Wh-what-? How do you know?"

"Because he told me."

"Oh of course he did." Prowl growled.

Smokescreen rolled his optics and turned towards his middle brother. "He wanted it ta be a surprise for you two, and me. I didn' know the bot was comin' with until Jazz showed me the flight list."

Bluestreak glared and Prowl rolled his optics. Smokescreen just threw his hands in the air and huffed.

"Doesn't explain why you didn't tell me about the bot."

"Because we knew you'd react exactly like this Bluestreak." Prowl waved a servo towards him, "cause a public scene, bring our family's personal business into the light, and throw a temper tantrum." Prowl scoffed at his little brother.

Bluestreak's optic twitched and he snarled, "you wanna see a temper tantrum Prowl?" He aimed his shoulder canon at his elder brother and growled, "I'll give you a fragging temper tantrum!"

Prowl's optics went wide at this. Red Alert, First Aid and Perceptor quickly jumped up and away from the table.

"Bluestreak don't you-" before Prowl could finish Bluestreak fired a shot at his brother. Smokescreen grabbed the bot and pulled him out of the way before it could hit him. When Prowl looked back at his chair his optic twitched when he saw it sparking from the static shock his brother shot at him. He turned back to scream at said brother, but was punched in the mouth. Smokescreen grabbed Bluestreak's shoulders and pulled him back. Bluestreak struggled for a minute before he slammed his helm back against Smokescreen's chin. Smokescreen lost his balance and stumbled. Before he could catch his balance Bluestreak tackled him to the ground.

"You- punch- two- punch- never- punch- tell- punch- me- punch- ANYTHING!" Bluestreak screamed in Praxian as he repeatedly punched Smokescreen's face and chassis.

Prowl tackled his younger brother and held his arms down and pinned his legs with his knees. He glared at the struggling bot below him until Bluestreak finally stopped and laid flat to glare back.

"You realize I could, and should, throw you in the brig and take your SpecOps title away for this? For unprovokingly attacking a commanding officer? And not just any, the-"

"The second in command of the Autobots." Bluestreak mocked. "S'not like anybot actually likes you or wants you to lead if something happens to Optimus Prime! For frags sake, he made you his second because if he didn't you'd whine and probably never have come. Not like you know the first thing about leading anyway." A smirk crossed Bluestreak's face suddenly, "besides you only raised through Praxian ranks, to get where you are now, because you're so good at sucking spike and spreading your legs."

Prowl went stiff at that. There were a lot of rumors as to how he so quickly rose through the ranks. The most popular one being he slept his way to the top. He could, and did, ignore most of them, but that one he hated the most.

"You damn well know that isn't true." Prowl hissed.

"That's why you're so good at being in this position, right?" Bluestreak hissed back.

Prowl looked down and noticed what Bluestreak meant. Granted he was pinning his brother down so he couldn't move, it did look very sexual.

"And with your own brother? That's fragging gross Prowl. Have some self respect." Bluestreak mocked.

Prowl sat back on his knees and stared down at his brother with a blank look. He felt a servo on his shoulder and immediately recognized it as Smokescreen's. When he looked up at his older brother and saw the energon dripping from his nose and cracked optic he twitched. He inhaled to calm himself down and that's when he realized his own energon was dripping from his mouth. Raising a servo he felt it and when he pulled it away he was shocked at how much there was. Shrugging he looked down at Bluestreak and sighed. "Fraggit." Prowl pulled his arm back and punched Bluestreak right in the face three times. When he pulled back to deliver a fourth blow he was tackled to the floor. Looking up he wasn't all that shocked to see Jazz on top of him. What did shock him was when he felt the stasis cuffs put on him and himself being lifted and pushed out the door, followed by Smokescreen with Ironhide and Bluestreak with Red Alert.

"I...I don't know what to say." Optimus said sadly as he looked at the three bots in front of him. "This kind of thing is expected of Red Alert, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, but even they don't shoot and attack one another."

"There are two accounts of Sideswipe putting Red Alert in the medbay, three of Sunstreaker putting Red Alert there, three of Red Alert putting Sideswipe there, four of Red Alert putting Sunstreaker there, and over ten of them all ending up there together because of fights." Prowl said, a slight annoyance to his voice.

Red Alert went stiff at this. Prowl has access to a lot of information, especially as second in command, but even he shouldn't know medical information on bots. Unless it's critical of course.

"Rung and Ratchet have told the three of us if we can't talk it out then to sort out our issues physically. Multiple times. Not that that's your business." Red Alert replied dryly. "How you even know our medical information is beyond me, and a breach of security and Autobot privacy."

"I'm second in command. Nothing is a breach for me." Prowl mumbled, his back to Red Alert.

"I'm the head of security and security director. I know more than any bot what they should know and who should know what, and as second you do not have access to private medical records of other Autobots. Only Ratchet, Rung, First Aid, Swoop, Ambulon and Pharma have access. As well as Optimus Prime, only if he requires specific information for a valid reason. In fact a Conjunx can't access the other bots' medical records unless given permission."

Prowl huffed and kept his back to Red Alert. Optimus watched his second and security director for a moment before sighing and leaning against the front of his desk.

"Prowl, Red Alert is right. You have no right to that information. How did you acquire it?"

"This is really what we're focusing on? Not Bluestreak attacking Smokescreen and I? As well as making accusations against me?"

"What accusations?" Optimus asked, looking at Bluestreak.

Bluestreak sat up straight when Optimus addressed him, but glanced at his brother and glared, "I didn't accuse Prowl of anything."

"There were plenty of Autobots in the rec room Bluestreak. You can't lie your way out of this one." Prowl growled at his brother.

"Prowl, you an' Blue were speakin' Praxian. None of us had any idea what you were sayin'." Ironhide said, crossing his arms.

"We were what?" Prowl asked.

"Speakin'- bot are ya deaf?" Ironhide growled.

"Ironhide please." Optimus raised a servo and Ironhide rolled his optics. "Smokescreen can you please tell us what Bluestreak and Prowl were saying?"

Smokescreen stared at him for a moment then blinked, "ummm...Blue knocked me out. I came round and saw Prowl on top of him on his knees."

"So, no one understood what Prowl or Bluestreak were saying?" Optimus asked the other three.

"I sorta caught a lil ov it, but ah was tryin' ta help Smokescreen." Jazz rubbed the back of his helm.

"Can you tell us what you heard please Jazz?" Optimus asked.

"You speak Praxian?" Smokescreen, Prowl, and Bluestreak all asked.

Jazz smiled at the three, "jus' enough ta get by. Anyway, all ah really caught was Smokescreen and Prowl neva tellin' Bluestreak anythin'. Tha's when Bluestreak was hittin' Smokescreen. Then when Prowl jumped on Bluestreak ah rushed ta Smokescreen ta make sure he was okay, an' he was in stasis. All ah heard from there was Prowl threatenin' Bluestreak with strippin' his title, Bluestreak sayin' somethin' 'bout you an' Prowl and Prowl being second. Somethin' not being true an' tha' was it."

Optimus nodded at his third then looked at the three bots. He had a feeling he could fill in what Bluestreak had said to Prowl. He exvented and shook his helm. The three weren't known for fighting, not like Red Alert and the twins, but even those three kept their more violent fights away from prying optics. What could've possibly happened to set this off? Especially to have provoked Bluestreak, of all bots, to attack his elder brothers? Two bots he looked up to and respected so much.

"What brought this on?"

"Prowl accusing Bluestreak of throwing temper tantrums is what really started it." Red Alert said.

Prowl glared at Red Alert for that.

"No, I mean, Bluestreak, why did you attack your brothers to begin with? What did they do to hurt you so deeply you felt the need to do this instead of communicating with them, or perhaps coming to Ratchet, Rung, Wheeljack or myself?"

"These two didn't tell me something about our family. That I had every right to know!"

Smokescreen sighed and Prowl rolled his optics.

"If you don't mind my asking, and if need be Jazz, Ironhide, and Red Alert can leave and we can call Rung in here, what is it?"

Smokescreen looked at the ceiling, Prowl stared dead ahead and Bluestreak crossed his arms. Optimus looked up at the three bots and went to ask them to leave, but before he could, Bluestreak said something in Praxian. Prowl replied in a hiss and Smokescreen mumbled an annoyed comment back.

When Jazz suddenly broke out into a fit of laughter all the bots turned towards him. The three brothers with annoyed optics and the others with confused.

"Th-thats why you three did tha'?" Jazz tried to control his laughing, but he couldn't.

"Truly a professional Jazz." Prowl rolled his optics and turned back towards Optimus.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, but you'd do it too I bet...well...maybe not you...probably Bumblebee though…" Bluestreak mumbled.

"In hindsight, it's pretty fragging funny. I'm with Jazz." Smokescreen said, sitting back.

"So...what is it?" Optimus asked, immensely confused now.

"Our Sire has a new mate." The three said in unison.

1. How many works do you have on AO3? I have 74 works, so far! But I'm actively editing a sequel fic so maybe we'll just say 75?

2. What is your total AO3 word count? That's in stats, right? *checks* Umm looks like 317336 so far!

3. How many fandoms have you written for and what are they? On AO3: Avengers (All Types), The Losers, Batman, Superman, The Old Guard, Jurassic Park/World, and crossovers with like Center Stage/Once Upon a Time/etc On Livejournal/Other Things Way Back When: KPop, JPop, JRock & Anime

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Man asking me all these questions I don't know the answers to and am scared to find out, OKAY HERE WE GO! And yes this list surprised me so thanks for that! *True, Strong and Brave *(Walk Walk) Fashion Baby *What The Doctor Ordered *Adorato *Cloak and Dagger (just... what? XD wow and thank you)

5. Do you respond to comments, why or why not? As long as it isn't a hate comment, I'll probably reply. I try to reply to all of the comments, and MOST of the time I won't let myself post new chapters/fics until I've gone through and replied to all the comments. Even if they're emoticons, but usually I have to do those from my phone because JFC how CAN you put a heart on a comment without doing it from the phone? ANYWAY this is Usually because they make me feel better and encourage me to write more of my chapters overall. But sometimes I hoard them in my inbox like a dragon because they're just SO NICE, so. There's that. (Y'all already knew I was a disaster bisexual, don't look at me like that.)

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? Uh. "(I Will Try) To Fix You" has grim implications? The 'Children of Light' Series is perpetually angsty until I finish the "fix it" part of the fix-it verse.

7. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve ever written? I do! Umm probably equally crazy in terms of juggling characters and storylines I want to weave in? But I have an MCU x DC crossover verse (Walk) There's also a Marvel x Vertigo Comics aka Avengers x The Losers that may have further crossovers once I get going? (In that case it might be a Chris Evans Verse mega-party?)

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic? Oooohhh boy. I really, really have. Sometimes it's over super stupid like, throwaway comedy lines? I think what really blew my mind the most was in an interaction between Tony and JARVIS, Tony made a throwaway comment about Jersey (literally playing on the cliché rivalry of New York & New Jersey) and people came into the comments BIG MAD. Y’all Hamilton did it, why am I getting hate? Plus it’s a fictional character, gosh dang! ‘Comments made by the characters do not reflect the attitude of the writer’, or whatever I need to say to keep people from flat out trying to tear me a new one. X.x

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Uh, I think I have? Different kinds? I’m not sure how to deal with or answer this question, ROFL.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Ummm, I think we've all had that 'someone took my work and posted it somewhere without my permission' fiasco. Wattpad, Goodreads, etc. Back when we used to write them on floppy disks I had some of those come up missing (if they were looking for my homework, boy were they disappointed I bet)... But otherwise, not that I know of.

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Umm I think this boils down to how you define co-writing.. If it was lobbing ideas back and forth I would say some qualified, if it was where they write swaths and then I fill in gaps, I've not done that. I've co-written series and co-written RPs that essentially could have been fics if they'd been shared beyond the small group involved. But I wouldn't say a specific story was co-written with anyone, though I'd surely love to give it a try!

12. What’s your all time favorite ship? OOF! Yeah there's probably not just one. WinterIron is good for MCU, easily the favorite. The Losers I ship Cougar/Jensen like burning. The Old Guard is killing me with Joe/Nicky. I've written some DC SuperBat and like SuperWonderBat. I like Teen Wolf STEREK.

13. What was the first fandom you wrote for? Umm definitely anime. I wrote for Yu Yu Hakusho, Inu Yasha, Pilot Candidate (aka Candidate for Goddess), Ayashi No Ceres, and some others way back in Middle School, so. Around that time, maybe some of my favorite Fiction but I couldn't say what was first in that category.

14. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? Hmmm.. I love "The B Team" for just the outrageous, lust-at-first-sight, crazy flirtation Tony & James have right off the bat. I also really enjoy "Adorato" because it's full of cameos from friends in the form of the Tony Stark Hug Squad, and that movement we super dear to my heart. Lol. Otherwise I would say "Tired" because it's soft and so sweet and I got the BEST ART FOR IT OMG. T_T To this day I sniffle.

Get To Know You

I was tagged by @optomisticgirl Thank you! I really enjoyed reading your answers to these. I love learning knew things about my mutuals.

1. Why did you choose your url?

Well, it was already my url on Ao3, and luckily, it wasn’t taken yet. The reason behind it is actually something I was talking about in a discord chat the other day. I was obsessed as a kid with stories about finding secret passages, doors, and portals to other worlds. (The Narnia books, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland, stuff like that.) My grandmother, we called her MoMo because it’s the South and we call our grandparents crazy things, lived in a really old house. It was fun to explore it, especially the wardrobes (because like most old houses, hers didn’t have closets). Another time, we (me, my sister, and my cousins) decided to dig a hole to Wonderland in MoMo’s yard with sand shovels. When she caught us, we thought we were in trouble, but she just went and got her garden shovel and said, “here, this will work better.” That’s one of my favorite memories of her.

Anyways, so that’s where I got my url from. As it says on my Ao3 account, “If I keep searching wardrobes, maybe one day I’ll find Narnia.” It seemed fitting for writing fanfic about a fantasy tv show.

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

Ummm . . . hold on a sec, let me check . . . Since 2018.

4. Do you have a queue tag?

No. I’ve noticed people have them, and I’m probably going to sound stupid asking this but: Why do you need one? Tumblr really needs a user manual or something. I feel like you just learn stuff by accident on here.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

@teamhook kept bugging me to on Ao3, haha. I also found out that a story I wrote was nominated for a fanfic award, but I didn’t know until after voting was over because I wasn’t on tumblr. And it felt like everyone knew everyone else in the CS fandom except for me, so finally I caved and started my blog. I was a little late to the party, but oh well. It’s been fun nevertheless!

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Shameless self promotion, lol. It’s the cover of my second self-published novel. It’s also really pretty (I didn’t design it, so I can say that!)

7. Why did you choose your header?

My husband bought me a journal that said “Dreamer, Writer, Storyteller,” and I loved that! So first, my header was a just a photo of the journal’s cover. Then I noticed you could make tumblr headers on Canva, so I made one. I look nothing like that girl running (I wish!), but the colors fit with my icon. She also reminds me of Chloe, the main character in my first novel, and Emma Swan, so . . . it works? Canva’s tumblr headers aren’t really sized right, however, so there’s annoying white space on either side if you’re in desktop mode. Canva needs to fix that! Otherwise, I love the way it looks.

8. What’s your post with the most notes?

How the heck do you figure THAT out? I seriously looked through my stats, and I can not for the life of me see where it tells me this information. So yeah, I have no idea.

9. How many mutuals do you have?

Uhh, again, how do I know this without scrolling through everything? I swear, people know how to do stuff on this site that I am clueless about still after four years. Remember what I said about needing a manual?

I scroll through it a lot, but lately I haven’t been reblogging or posting as much. Um, maybe thirty minutes a day total?

Yep. Once someone even MADE a tumblr blog just to troll me. That was . . . interesting.

14. How do you feel about “you need to reblog this” posts?

I have erased my answer to this four times, if that tells you anything! Yeah, I don’t like those.

Absolutely!

16. Do you like ask games?

Yes!! I don’t get asks often, so I eat these up!!! I also copied this from B: “And I hold strong the belief that if you reblog a post to participate, you need to send asks to the person you reblogged from. (this was Kait’s answer, but it’s mine as well! Fandom etiquette peeps)”

17. Which of your mutuals do you think is Tumblr famous?

I’d have to say @welllpthisishappening - or maybe I’m just her fangirl, lol. But seriously, her Blue Line series is one of the most popular CS fics out there, and for good reason,

1. What fic/s are you currently reading?

I’ve honestly been really horrible at reading fics this year and I haven’t really read very much 😬but I want to continue reading Noir by @harrystylesgotmefuckedup (I was actually thinking about it today so I need to get on that asap) and I also want to start reading Strange Tides by @theasstour now that’s it’s finished so I can just binge read lol aaaand I want to start yjsiwa by @adashofniallandasprinkleoflunacy and @sunflowervolvimp3

2. What are your all time favourite fics?

Oh god okay. One of my OG faves is The Golden Hour by @standingfacingwest literally such amazing writing I loved it so much! I also loved Barefoot in the Park by @soysauceharry Impeccable! Chef’s Kiss™️!! And of course Baby Blue by @theasstour is a classic! In the Ring by @majorharry another Chef’s Kiss™️ fic right there!

3. Who are your favourite fic authors? Why?

@theasstour i mean obviously jknjkfd I just love Nora’s descriptions of things they fascinate me every time

@harrystylesgotmefuckedup okay so Mo wrote this thing like however long ago and I still think about it till this day and so that makes her an incredible writer imo! and if any of you haven’t read something by her please go enlighten yourselves!

njkffv sorry this is so terrible I haven’t really read very much this year I don’t even know 😭

4. If you could see any two fic authors collab, who would you want it to be?

ummm I have no idea tbh!

5. What are your favourite tropes to read?

enemies to lovers, mutual pining, omg there’s only one bed, fake dating

AU tbh I also prefer writing AU as well. There’s just more possibilities and you can make it way more just like personal by creating your own world I guess

7. Do you prefer to read wip’s or completed fics?

I don’t really have a preference tbh. I like WIPs just so I can have something to look forward to every week you know (or whenever they post)

8. What’s something you’d love to see more of in fics?

I guess I’d love to see even more AUs tbh. Idk I get a little bored sometimes reading OU boyfriend Harry you know? Not that those are bad by any means it’s just not really my thing anymore!

9. Do you enjoy ofc fics or y/n fics? Or both? Why/why not?

OFC! I’ll read either but I prefer just having a full-fledged character. I don’t insert my own name anyway when I read Y/N so it makes no difference to me. Plus I feel like names can give deeper meaning to stories a lot of the times and just make things more interesting!

The Four Times Peter Wanted To Say ‘I Love You’ And The One Time He Did

Summary: the title is basically the summary oof

Peter Parker x reader

Warnings: ummm fluff and nothing else?? maybe like a tiny bit of angst (nothing too bad)

Author’s Note: wow two fics in one week??? who am i??? ahh yes, i’m back with something i wrote in a short amount of time again and i’m actually pretty proud of this. Also don’t forget that requests are still open, so send them in!! Anyway, enjoy!

You combed your fingers through his hair, laughing so hard you threw your head back, not a care in the world. He sat on a chair in front of you and you could both see your reflection on your vanity mirror.

He wore a fake grimace on his face. In reality, he hadn’t felt that happy in so long; only you could bring out this side of him.

“Come on! I didn’t do that bad!” you managed to wheeze through your laughter.

“I look like a clown!” He wiped the red lipstick off of his lips but left the rest of the makeup on his face.

“That was my inspiration, believe it or not.” You managed to catch your breath, but still held a natural grin on your face, your cheekbones rosy and your eyes gleamed.

“I won’t let you do my makeup like this next time…” he muttered under his breath but you still heard his words.

“‘Next time’? Does that mean you’ll let me it again?” You bit your lip, leaning into him teasingly.

“Only if you give me a kiss,” he smiled, turning his face to look at you in the eyes.

“Seems like a valid price to pay,” you smiled back, holding his jaw in your palm and finally connecting your lips.

You parted, leaving smiles of adoration left on your faces. His lips pursed as if he was going to say something but stopped right before anything escaped his mouth.

He had almost said it, but knowing it was too soon, he’d rather keep his mouth shut than scare you off.

He groaned as a sliver of sunlight crept onto his shut eyes. But just as he came into consciousness, he felt a warm presence on his chest. With one eye popped open, he noticed you laying over him. Your mouth hung open slightly and your hair fanned around you like a halo.

He stared for what seemed like hours. By the time you started to stir, the sun was completely up and the birds were chirping.

“Good morning,” you mumbled, your voice an octave deeper than it was usually.

“Morning,” he muttered in reply.

The two of you stayed in that position, neither one wanted to move from the comfortable spot. The only movements in the room being your rising chests and Peter’s fingers combing through your head.

“We should get up.” You started to move but he pulled you back down. Now your face hovered over his and strong arms hugged you.

“Why? We don’t have anywhere to go.” He leaned in, biting your lip teasingly.

“You’re right,” you whispered and grinned, giving into his charm completely.

If it hadn’t been for his strong will, he would’ve said it then and there.

But he knew it was too soon to say what he really felt towards you.

Peter stood outside your apartment door, his heart racing and his left hand gripping onto a small bouquet of flowers.

With a shaky hand, he knocked on your door and took a deep breath.

“Hey,” you greeted, a large smile on your face.

He stayed quiet in shock, seeing how beautiful you looked.

“Hello? Earth to Peter,” you laughed, waving a manicured hand in his face.

“Sorry, um, you just look, wow,” he stumbled over his words.

“Thank you.” You looked down at the dark gray dress you wore. “You look pretty good yourself.”

“Thanks.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Um, here-” he held out the flowers, “-these are for you.”

“They’re beautiful, thank you, Peter.” You let him inside and went to put the flowers in a vase.

“Mr. Stark said that we have to be at the party by eight, but knowing him, he won’t be there until eleven.”

“Want to go get some food first? I’m starving,” you walked into the living room. The scenery and your attire didn’t seem to fit on their own, but knowing you, this felt like a normal day to day thing.

“I thought you’d never ask.” He straightened his back and offered you his hand.

“Let’s go! I’m craving burgers,” you exclaimed, giving him your hand and dragging him out the door.

“You’re going to be the death of me,” he laughed.

“I’ll make sure you’ll go in a fun way.” You winked and raced him down the stairs to the first floor.

Once again, he could feel the words bubbling up inside of him, waiting to escape with every laugh that left your mouth.

But he couldn’t… at least now, he didn’t think of a reason.

It was almost three in the morning when you texted him, asking him to come over.

He was on a quiet late night patrol, so he agreed, you immediately became his main priority.

You had given him a key a couple weeks earlier, and you knew he was coming, so he didn’t really think about knocking when he got there.

He expected you to want to watch a movie or order a pizza and talk.

But what he didn’t expect, was you wearing an old hoodie and sporting a tear streaked face.

“Peter,” your voice cracked as you sniffed.

“What’s wrong?” He immediately swooped down, embracing you in a hug. You reciprocated it and buried your head in his neck, squeezing your arms tightly around him like your life depended on it.

“I don’t… Can you just stay here for a while? Just hold me?” you muttered into his neck, not wanting to let go.

“Of course.” He kissed the side of your head.

That night, he held you tightly until you fell asleep, tears still fresh on your face. Even then, he still stayed in that position, wondering who or what had hurt you that bad and how he would be able to make you feel better the next day.

Yet knowing that you had called upon him to make you feel better, not someone else, made him ask himself if you, perhaps, felt the same way about him.

Maybe he would tell you.

“Are you ready to binge watch all these movies?” You plopped down onto his couch, already munching on the bowl of popcorn.

“I was born ready,” he said proudly and pressed play on the first Harry Potter movie.

You naturally cuddled into him and he put an arm around your shoulder.

“You know,” you said through a mouth full of popcorn, “I love doing these kinds of things with you.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, I mean, who else understands my stupid humor and spends a whole weekend binge watching Harry Potter? Also, you’re a really good kisser so that’s a plus.”

“Well… I love spending time with you too.”

“I’m glad because… I think I love you.” You bit your lip while waiting for what he was going to say.

“You have no idea how relieving that is,” he chuckled. “I think I love you, too.”

“I’m glad.” You smiled and went back to the movie as if both your hearts weren’t beating wildly.

But at least he had gotten those three small words off his chest.

i figure everything has been done before in one way or another so that’s something i try not to sweat it too much about. i try to be original, but there’s also a lot of popular tropes i like so it’s fun to take those and try to make them my own somehow!

ha i mean, again i like all my fics and i’m happy i wrote them all but...i guess probably “a truth in the blood”? dgmw i still like that one a lot and i’m glad a lot of people enjoyed it, i’m just not as like emotionally attached to it as i am to my other fics (probs cuz i wrote it in like two weeks haha).

ummm i’d say it’s defo “the stars are bound to change.” idk man like i really poured my soul into that one and it’s so rare someone tells me it’s their fave....i have this particular soft spot for it that whenever someone tells me they love that one i’m like *SOBS*...THANK YOU.

probably not?? there’s some things i’d probs change a bit in some of my fics but there’s nothing that i would rewrite completely.

i gotta admit i don’t think i’ve ever done that...? i usually don’t start looking at someone’s fics unless they’ve been rec’d to me or like unless we’ve become friends and i then find out they write fic.

i’ve never gotten a truly mean review really. *knocks on wood* i think the only slightly negative one i can think of off the top of my head was someone who complained about the end of “the stars are bound to change” and said it was too abrupt but...i don’t think they intended it to be super malicious or anything, and like, i get it bc i wasn’t 100% happy with the ending either. but oh well can’t win ‘em all.

25. What constructive criticism, however well-meaning, always makes you feel bad when you see it in a review?

again i haven’t really gotten much negativity or criticism in comments so uh...*shrugs* and i’m p good at taking constructive criticism i was a creative writing major sdkdj

Episode 7

Clip 1 - Lucalex

Ahhh, a relaxing afternoon hanging out with friends, being on your separate phones. That seems like an OH YOUTHS complaint, but I’m saying it in recognition.

“They seem really close … imagine if they’re together?” If they were a couple they’d be pretty brave about posting pictures of them together on IG at this stage, even non-coupley pics, and even if you assume they are out and not closeted.

Emma is so into this concept of Lucas and Alex together. She was biting her lip in excitement over two dudes getting into a car together.

She also is quick to come up with that ship portmanteau (Lucalex) so you know she’s on Tumblr.

Manon, you sounds very reasonable about this Lucas-Alex situation, but you also brought up the car incident to your friend who is clearly ready to start drafting her Lucalex 100k slow-burn masterpiece. You can’t expect to dangle such a tasty morsel in front of a salivating person and hope to take it back.

But at least Manon isn’t like, wow what a fun game this is after her conversation with Lucas last episode.

“This guy is gay, I slept with him two days ago” - Mickael always taking everything Eskild said or did just a few steps more scandalous.

Mickael and Lucas are hair twins.

Clip 2 - Ate a dick

Their kissing is passionate so I give them props for that. On a scene by scene basis, just evaluating them in this moment, they’re fine. I don’t know how big Noorhelm fans feel about this actor, but Charles, whatever his character faults, has more intensity than William and I read more affection in his expressions. I found the comment about his boner far less awkward than in the original.

I still love Manon’s lamby cardigan!

Bless Daphne but the “ate a dick” comment and the subsequent reaction were about 10 times more unintentionally awkward than the original.

I mean, Manon is right. What obligations do these girls have to these dudes at all?

Julien is a little effeminate ... Daphne sure won’t let that concept of lesbian Manon go, huh. I guess if Emma is writing Lucalex fanfic, Daphne is all about those f/f epics.

Also mentioning how beautiful Manon is … Daphne … girl….

Clip 3 - Bedroom makeouts

Uhhh … in the previous clip, released on Tuesday, Charles says he has to study later on Tuesday. Then he says “Tomorrow? We could go to your place.” Manon agrees. Yet this clip was also released on Tuesday. They’re wearing the same clothes in both clips. Like … what? Am I hallucinating this glitch? Sloppy.

I don’t even know how they made this mistake considering it can’t be a post-production error, or that someone just uploaded it by accident on Tuesday, since they’re wearing the same outfits. This is a writing/filming mistake. Did they have a text where they changed the meeting time or something? They should have just changed the timestamp and released it on Wednesday, even though it’d be noticeable with the clothes, or edited out the bit with where Charles suggests tomorrow. Do some awkward ADR.

The whole joke about her waiting for marriage to have sex has never sat right with me because of how he didn’t accept no as an answer when they got together. It’s one thing if they got together in a healthier way, you could give it the benefit of the doubt and take it in a lighter way, but because they didn’t, moments like this are kinda tainted for me. (Plus the classic line in the final clip of the season ... but we’ll see if they keep that line.)

Heh, Mickael’s comment about if it were his room, the guy would be naked, and Charles laughing at that, was good.

As well Mickael talking about announcing people are straight. “It’s not a stigma!”

So far Mickael seems more of a blatant comic relief character than Eskild - he’s just more, if that makes sense, and we haven’t seen some of the more nurturing, affectionate moments between he and Manon - in fact I’d say Manon has seemed more annoyed with him than Noora did with Eskild. However, we haven’t yet gotten to the more serious scenes with his character, so I hope that we get to see Mickael pull off the heavier material.

Charles takes this whole incident well and laughs and smiles a lot, so that’s nice.

I applaud them for leaving out that annoying line about William’s pals being excited to party with a Muslim girl. Charles’ crew definitely has the same idea in mind, as seen later, but I mean ... I don’t need that Our Hero being so casual about the ideas of his buddies fetishizing a Muslim girl. Because that’s what it was.

Clip 4 - Call me

Manon just sank Emma’s ship. For a moment, anyway.

Emma’s like, either I get to hook up with Alex or my OTP is canon, win-win!

“Maybe he made a move and Lucas turned him down.” I think Mickael is the kind of person who would assume if he got turned down, the guy must not be into dudes at all. Because how could you resist Mickael otherwise?

More setting up S3/Lucas’ story. That’s fine, it’s fair to lay that foundation, and Emma obviously knows heavy stuff is up with him. It’s nice that they show some concern over what he’s going through.

Manon’s joke about Emma’s strong body odor and Emma’s resulting sadface was very cute.

Clip 5 - That escalated quickly

Daphne said they were the only girls Charles invited but there are clearly other girls on that bus? I guess the emphasis is that they’re the only ones Charles invited, and that the other Raptors invited the other girls. Just pointing this out because the squad were the only girls at the Riot Club party.

That is some champion hair-flipping from Daphne, what a queen.

Well he can’t be French Julien Dahl if he has a face and is not just some mystery man shrouded in smoke.

I want to knee those dudes Imane is speaking to in the nuts. She is showing a ton of grace and patience here. And like, they’re not being OTT bad. They’re being just casually ignorant and annoying enough.

Ha, I know you don’t want to be set up but this is like the easiest small talk in the world, Manon. It’s Madrid.

Daphne talking to Charles, oh my God. Give it up already. This is agonizing.

Manon has been looking extremely pretty with her lovey-dovey face lately. Although the cuts from her looking gorgeous to Charles - who is not an ugly guy, to be clear - with that somewhat unnerving look on his face was kind of jarring.

“Promise me not to move from here.” OK I’m cracking up because they easily could have seen this fight from inside the bus. From a perspective of ensuring her safety? Sure, stay on the bus, good advice. From the additional POV of Manon, you’re not supposed to see me like this? Lmao, you guys are fighting like 10 feet away.

THIS FIGHT, MAN.

I was laughing during part of it? I know it’s not supposed to be a well-choreographed fight scene or anything, it’s just a bunch of teenage idiots roughhousing but they just looked so ridiculous.

And then the dude just shoved Charles and it IMMEDIATELY ESCALATED into him smashing the bottle over the guy’s head!

AND THEN HE FUCKING KICKED HIM IN THE RIBS WHEN THE DUDE LANDED ON THE GROUND

AND CHARLES PUT THE GUY IN A HEADLOCK AND STARTED PUNCHING HIM IN THE FACE

I mean, if they wanted to make Charles seem more like a real ~bad boy~, this worked? It was so OTT, my dudes.

And all the girls look horrified and concerned except Emma, who is too drunk to give a single shit. Bless.

General comments:

For what it’s worth, in terms of charisma level, my personal ranking is Edoardo > Charles > William > Alexander. Don’t know anything about Daniel yet to determine his ranking.

Ummm why are these dummies posting pics of their matching Starbucks cups on Instagram? What do I post: A mishmash of everything I find interesting. Last thing I googled: Last night I was sitting with bander and wanted her to hear a song from my friends’ band, so I think the last thing I googled was “gaymous ross dress for less” which only kinda got me the result I wanted. Which was this amazing song. (Please listen, you won’t regret it!!)

Do I have any other blogs: Several! On here I have a cheese tumblr @heycheeselady (it’s mostly dead, i haven’t reblogged to it in ages) and a benedict cumberbatch meme tumblr that i used to co-run @darlingdomesticbatch that is now long abandoned (rip, it was actually really cute and fun while it lasted). I have a dreamwidth that used to be my livejournal where i really let my depression, anxiety, and emotional self-harm cut loose to like 2 or 3 other ppl (it’s a yikes-ass nightmare). ALSO i still have a diaryland diary (!!!) that is my private corner of the internet where i post inelegant poetic prose about my actual private emotions in ways that would feel dangerous to do in front of anyone but strangers. if i ever give you the info, you aren’t allowed to talk to me about it. i probably won’t give you the info. but i’ve had it since...2000? 2001? I definitely wrote about losing my virginity over there. embarrassing!!

Why did I choose my url: I knew I was going to be blogging about sherlock and queer stuff, and I thought about what really connected those things. Dream job: Basically my current job? Though I should amend that because my reality needs to shift...I’m probably never going to be able to do my job full time again. So. Dream Job would be teaching cheese tasting classes to groups of 10-20 people at a time, giving info about the cheeses and how to taste them, how to prep them for a cheese plate, what to pair them with (and how). Ideally I would do all of this with a team of 2-4 other people, making decisions cooperatively and collectively.

Dream trip: One month trip thru France visiting various cheesemakers and ending with a week in the south with my friend who has family down there.

Fav food: Cheese. Ha :)

Last book I read: Y’all I haven’t read a paper book in a hot minute. I just haven’t been able to do it. I even have books to read. My brain says NO NO NO. But the last book length fic I read was Own the Scars, and damn was it good!

Last fanfic I read: We’ll Be Seamless, which was a really great slowburn that ended so sweetly (with lots of hot moments along the way)

Random fact: I met my best friend in preschool when we were 3 years old. I’m even in her baby book. We had a few years of not being quite as close, but now at 37 we’re somehow still BFFs. We’re also both queer and big geeks, which is a nice thing.

Question tag for AO3 writers~~

I found the original questions on AFF a while back, and I thought since I’ve been tagged in so many meme things lately, I’d also tag a bunch more people in this one XD Since the questions were designed for AFF, I’ve reworked some of them to fit for AO3 writers. I also removed two questions rather than trying to translate them to AO3 terms. So, I’ll fill out my answers first, and then put the blank questions again at the bottom for you to easily copy and paste!

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

I came up with "Shootmesenpai” for my Tumblr originally a long time ago. It was pretty much a play on the whole “Notice me senpai” thing. Pretty basic and not very witty but it just ended up sticking so I even used it for AO3.

2. Which fanfic of yours has the most feedback? (bookmarks/subscriptions/hits/kudos)

Happy Birthday Aomine

3. What is your AO3 profile icon, and why did you choose it?

My icon is Aomine Daiki. I choose it because he is my favorite boy and almost all the fanfics I have written are from his perspective.

4. Do you have any regular/favourite commenters?

I’m not a very popular writer and my stuff is pretty low key so the commenters are fairly random. I have some friends that comment so I suppose they count....kinda.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Blackbird or the Ladder series by @emungere is amazing and I have reread them a number of times. I also have a huge soft spot for Across the Way by @gintamajustaway and that is not even finished yet.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to? How many do you have bookmarked?

I am only subscribed to two stories at the moment since a couple just finished recently, but I have 29 bookmarks for things that need to be read. I’m kinda bad about actually doing this instead, I just leave 100 tabs open on my phone.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

I haven’t actually written any AU’s yet but I like reading student/teacher ones, yakuza AU’s or college AU’s. I would like to write a college AU one day as it’s not too far from reality so I think I may be able to handle it.

8. How many people are subscribed and bookmarked to you in total? (you can view this on the stats page)

Oh, an embarrassingly small amount....I think I only have 29 subscriptions and 44 bookmarks...definitely, nothing to write home about.

9. Is there something you’d like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Honestly, I don’t really have much. I would like to write something really aggressive and complex but I don’t do well with long stories. A yakuza story with some rough subject matter (similar to Harada) would be amazing but....that's a bit much for most of the ships I enjoy.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at? Writing certain scenes or genres, replying to comments, updating better, etc.

I would like to finish my one long story and possibly rework a lot of it. It was the first one I wrote and looking back I can see a lot of flaws. I need to honestly just start writing more and learn the fundamentals of good storytelling. Even though I enjoy writing smutty one-shots the most, I still have ideas for long stories that I’m not confident enough to begin.

11. Do you write rarepairs or popular ships more often?

I mainly write for AoKuro or AoKuroKaga which I guess is a bit rare for the KNB fan base. I also love ultra rare pairings like NijiHai.

12. How many stories have you posted on AO3 to this day (finished and unfinished)?

5 total works with one unfinished.

13. How many stories do you have saved in/with your writing program?

I have the next chapter started with Realization and Loss but it’s only a paragraph....that’s it at the moment.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

A little bit of both, my friend and I talk story ideas every once in a while so some of those are permanently locked in my head. There are some I came up with on my own that I have written down in a sketchbook somewhere.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nope, I come up with ideas with a friend sometimes so it kinda feels like it has been co-authored at times.

16. How did you discover AO3?

Just following the links of the fanfic rabbit hole.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author in your fandom(s) on AO3?

Oh god no, I am extremely casual in my writings. I freak out for having like 5 kudos on a fic. I bow down to the famous authors.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Not that I’m aware of, again I am bottom of that totem pole.

19. Was there an author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

I mean @humanitys-shortest-soldier kinda encouraged me after I continued to bug her about showing off her amazing writing skills. Other than that though @gintamajustaway was a huge inspiration, they are so amazing that I really have no words.

20. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

I don’t think I’m qualified to give advice but I guess I would just say, don’t be afraid to put your ideas out there. Even if you think it’s weird, or you think your writing skills aren’t up to par, just do it! There are people out there who will encourage you and make your whole day with their kind words. I promise you.

21. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I do basic plots, mainly just large points that I want to hit. Everything else just slowly forms around those foundation pieces.

22. Have you ever gotten a bad comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

No, I haven’t gotten any bad comments yet but I am always open to them. I handle criticism well and I think bad comments can help a person grow to become a better writer.

23. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, smut, etc..)

Ummm.....probably really serious stuff. I love writing smut and I read a lot of garbage so it helps but the serious stuff requires a build up on top of a solid foundation. Those are definitely weak points for me.

24. What story(s) are you working on now?

I have Realization and Loss....which I will probably finish...one day. Other than that though I don’t have anything in the works, although I was prompted today to write more Brotp for AoAka.

25. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Yeaaaa, I really shouldn’t but sometimes the idea is too fun to wait.

26. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Nope, I just write when I have the time or a burning idea. It has been a while since I have done anything though.

27. Do you think you’ve improved as a writer since you first started?

I think I have improved a bit, there is still a lot that I need to work on. I would love to eventually get back into it and improve my fundamentals and basics storytelling abilities.

28. What is your favorite story that you’ve written?

Haizaki’s Day Off, it was just a lot of fun to write and I really enjoy writing for Haizaki since he is a huge asshole.

29. What is your least favorite story that you’ve written?

I don’t really have a least favorite but if I had to say...it would be Realization and Loss. It was my first one and I still need to finish it, but looking back I see a lot of errors and crutches throughout the story.

30. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Probably close to where I am now, I love writing but I don’t think I am cut out for anything serious within the field. I love drawing and a lot of my free time is spent trying to improve there, while also finding the courage to post it.

31. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Coming up with the basic plot and all the fun bits that it involves.

32. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Actually sitting down to write it.....also in-character dialogue!

33. Why do you write?

I write because sometimes an idea is too fun to keep to myself or between my friends. I write so that hopefully other people get some enjoyment out of the weird stuff I create.

1/ Which scene/paragraph/sentence are you the most proud of?

Hmm. I really like this one part of a Drarry fic I haven’t ever gotten around to publishing. I wrote it about a year ago and it’s short and kinda awkward, but I like it. Here :

“The mid-morning was busy, Ministry workers buzzing past them and chattering loudly, shoes clapping on the pale marble floor. Harry had always hated how overwhelming the entrance hall was, too bright and traffic-y. And going by the look on Malfoy’s face, he didn’t like it either. Harry was curious to know if this place reminded him of the war and what had happened afterwards, with the trials and all that crap. He wondered if he’d been assigned to wear work-robes like everyone else, and whether him wearing jeans that had tears in the knees was just a way to say Fuck you.”

2/ For which work/piece of work do you get comments telling how marvelous it is, while you’re not that enthralled by that piece yourself?

I was really surprised that fingers crossed my obsession with you is tameable has become my ummm most famous fic? Idk if you can call it that but it’s got a lot more comments than my other stuff. When I wrote it i was still very new to the fandom and knew v v little about anything. I’m glad that people like it and I’m quite proud of it myself too, but there are other stories I’ve spent writing 5 times longer than that one, like the two fics I wrote for Otayuri Reversebang. I spent sooo much time making my characters believable, plot interesting etc. and yet they’re not that popular. Hell, I even have 20 pages of unused material for both of those fics because I made several different endings and tried to find the perfect one. But then again, maybe overworking them shows or smth? Anyway. I’ve only published stuff I like tbh so I don’t really know how to anwer this question :)

3/ Which character highjacked the story they’re in?

Well, right now I writing the second chapter for my heart’s a stereo and I’m trying to chill a bit because it’s got too much on Yuri’s small crush on Yuuri, and the fic is supposed to be about Yuri and Otabek, not how wonderful Yuuri is (in Yuri’s opinion). I already have a oneshot in mind about Yuuri and Viktor (and Chris), happening at the same time as the main story. Yuuri is my sunshine boy and wins my heart, but I’m trying my best to focus on Otayuri on this one.

4/ Which sentence/kind of sentence do you overuse?

Yikes. My language skills in English are very limited so there are lots of things I don’t know how else to describe so I’ll probably end up repeating myself? “Despite the fact that” is a good example of that. I’m trying my best to learn by reading a lot and googling things but I’m very insecure about using new phrases in case I’m using them wrong lol. But, I accept that English is not my first language and that the only way to learn is to write and read more, so. Also, feel free to tell me when there’s something funny going on in one of my fics? Because so far most of my stuff is unbetaed (bc I don’t want to bother anyone shh).

5/ Which work of yours would you be dying to get fanart for?

Oh, definitely either we go alive in a heartbeat or i’ll be there, rain or shine. They’re both sweet and innocent oneshots and they are my babies. But I’d be over the moon to receive fanart about any fic! :))

6/ Which work would you rather forget?

Anything written before 2016. And I can’t quite read my first YoI fic without cringing because it was also one of the first fics I’d written in English and the first time I wrote smut. BUT I am incredibly happy that I wrote it because I don’t think I’d be writing anything now if I hadn’t had the courage to write (and post!) it back then.

7/ Do you have a project you never got the nerves/guts to write?

YES. I think about heavy angst headcanons daily, but I will never ever have the guts to write any of those ideas down. I think my characters in those are very OC and no one would ever ever buy a fic where, say, a person from YoI is cheating on their soulmate or whatever. Also the ideas include lots of things I would probably like to read about but maybe not write myself? Cutting, depression and eating disorders and things like that. Angst just for the sake of angst in general is too heavy for me to write. But I’ve got so sooo many sad headcanons that I sort of hope that I could write them lol.

8/ For which fandom have you written the most? (can be original fic, say if you count in terms of words, chapters or fics)

Yuri on ice. I’ve published 12 YoI fics, and I have about four serious wips waiting for my motivation to return, plus a dozen ideas I haven’t written down/have only written a rough draft.

I’ve published two Drarry fics (well, actually one since the other one is made by me and my gf together), but I have L O T S of wips from that ship too. I have two or three stories that have 3000-7000 words to but I just haven’t gotten around to finishing them.

I’ve written a few Johnlock oneshots as well but I haven’t published any in ao3.
