earth 42! miles morales as a streamer headcanons

a/n: aight had to whip this out of the drafts since my LAST miles post got a community label. + i wasn’t too proud of it anyways so i just took it down. </3 i’ll probably put it back up once i try to figure out what’s wrong w it though.

miles would most definitely be a gaming and music reaction streamer. he would always be up to date with the newest games but let brent faiyaz drop a new album or something, and he gets RIGHT on it!

you would expect majority of his audience to be girls because of his good looks and nice personality, however he seems to be more appealing to guys since he rages on the games he plays quite a lot. (he is not very fond of mercy players on overwatch and hates winston mains with a passion.)

he has a pretty big fanbase, ranging from around 800k-1M followers on twitch and 500k subscribers on his twitch highlights channel. and the only reason why his following got this huge in only a year’s span is because he went viral on tiktok because of him raging at a game and then his sound became a trend. now most audios on tiktok are from his streams, and honestly he finds it hilarious.

now miles is really private about his life outside of streaming. he’ll answer the basic questions about his age, his race/ethnicity, how many siblings he has and etc. but anything about his relationship status or anything was kept strictly confidential.

that was until one day you walked in his room while streaming. it was a normal stream, he was just talking to chat and answering questions per usual. you had brought him some food since he had since you some money via cash app to do so. you didn’t know he was streaming so you just came and hugged him, even giving him a kiss, and then handed him his food. you didn’t even pay attention to the stream and kept going with your business. he had got so caught up in the moment he hadn’t realized that he was still streaming and his chat was going crazy.

he was shocked to say at the least but he wasn’t mad at you or anything. he was more mad at his chat for trying to spit game at you even though they had saw the whole ordeal. once you were informed that you were dating the miles morales, your social medias, that were once very private, started blowing up with notifications asking you about your relationship with miles.

miles took this opportunity to properly introduce you on his instagram story. about two weeks after the situation happened, he posted a picture with you and him for your 6th month anniversary. the caption saying, “happy 6th month anniversary to my beautiful girlfriend. te amo tanto. <3 @[yourusername]”

and so the news was out. from this point forward, you started to pop up in the streams a little more often and you started to grow this special little friendship with his fanbase. you once just came into his room because you wanted a hug and the entire chat was filled with “AWWW!!! YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!!” and “mbn.. 😔💔”s. now not EVERYONE was happy with this situation and some people spread hate comments here and there but because of the overwhelming support of your relationship, miles barely noticed it. the only thing he had on his mind was you and his career.

I am a sucker for puns and I will make them whenever I can, but I have never seen a better pun than the title of the Good Place Season 4 Episode 7 “Help is Other People”. For those who may not understand, this a play on the quote “Hell is other people” from the play No Exit by Sartre. the idea in No Exit was that 3 people were sent to Hell and as punishment, they had to live with each other for eternity. at first they thought they got off easily, but they soon realized that their specific personalities, flaws, and idiosyncrasies played off each other in such away that they would never be able to live together peacefully. because as soon as 2 of them reached an agreement, the other one would ruin it, and so on, and so on.

and that idea, of a group of people playing off each others flaws in order to create the worst situation for everyone involved, was the exact idea behind Michael’s first experiment. he gathered Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason specifically because their specific traits created the worst possible outcome for all of them. but it backfired, because instead of hurting and ruining each other, they consistently helped each other to grow and mature time after time, even on earth, essentially turning “Hell is other people” into “Help is other people”

but that’s not it, because remember, that’s all seasons 1-3 and this title is in season 4. you see, in season 4 they tried to recreate the experiment with new people to see if it work the same (despite being a fundamentally different experiment, but that’s another post). the participants-Simone, Chidi, John, and Brent-were supposed to help each other grow the way the original participants had. and in this episode, the new experiment is coming to a close, and the Soul Squad is desperately trying to rack up a few last points and get these people to help each other. to put aside their problems with each other and just help each other to grow and mature and change. and it almost works. if there had just been a few more seconds, it might have.

anyway to recap the reason I love this so much is because the phrase “Help is other people” is essentially the show’s entire thesis and statement on human interactions, and it is a play on the phrase “Hell is other people” which was the thought behind Michael’s original experiment, and the episode for which it’s the title, is the episode in which the Eleanor, Michael, and the others are most desperate for it to be true.

I don't actually think Brendon is a monster, I think there is something really wrong with Panic! as an entity, and I think Brendon being the singer and also his personality resulted in him being the last one standing.

As a disclaimer to the above points:

Ryan was also behaving in ways that were pretty bad. I have a lot of sympathy for Ryan because he was so young and his home situation was so terrible, but he was cheating on his girlfriend, neglecting his dog, hanging out with really questionable people, et cetera.

Similarly, I do not think Dallon is a hero or a victim. I'm not going to go too far into this but I think it's clear to me that, while I have more sympathy for Dallon, whatever was going on there seemed to be all of them addicted to drama. But then again, aren't we all.

Anyway, here we go.

Brendon seems to have issues playing well with others. After they wrote Fever, he claimed he did 100% of Brent's share. On Pretty Odd, he wanted to write lyrics but didn't think Ryan should sing. He said for vices they "Didn't have any ideas from Ryan or Jon sitting around" but Ryan is credited on Nearly Witches. He says Spencer didn't do anything for Too Weird. He says Panic's videographer stole $120k from him. I would believe Brendon is in the right on some of it, but not all of it.

I also think Brendon is someone who cannot stop trying to get a reaction out of people, which is part of why he's famous. I'm not naive and I know a lot of band guys probably laugh at un-PC jokes in private, but Brendon seems to completely lack awareness about there being a time and a place. Eg, it was not enough for Brendon and Zack to laugh at a photo of an overweight fan to themselves. They just ABSOLUTELY HAD to post her photo on social media for 1.2 million people to see. Et cetera. Every time someone made an offensive joke, Brendon had to turn on Periscope and beg them to repeat it because it was just sooo funnnyyyy.

Anyway, Brendon was on social media trying to get reactions out of people way too much. He was constantly posting vines, Tweeting, posting on Instagram, and constantly livestreaming and responding to everything people asked him about every political issue. I feel like he just loves attention, which is fine when you're famous, but he can't just post gym selfies and smugly read thirst comments. He has to broadcast himself talking about "the liberals" and "cancel culture" to a bunch of obsessive teens so he can see them react in real time. He does stuff like call Fiona Apple a bitch in public and it's like. Just stop. Like I know you think you're being funny but it's just not a good idea.

I'm losing steam here but Anyway in close I just think Brendon can't get along well with other people, loves being the center of attention, wants to give incredibly detailed accounts of his opinion on everything, and loves getting a reaction out of people. Combining this with a situation like Panic where there were other factors that led to Brendon being the only one, it just became easy for him to surround himself with yes-men and no one told him to Just Stop and so he Kept Going until he literally couldn't anymore.

so i have like a million corner gas fic ideas, most having to do with the same storyline, but bc i feel like my fixation on the show is coming to an end and i highly doubt i'll end up writing them anyway, im gonna post summaries of them so they wont go completely untold bc i think some of them are really good

might as well start with the one i've hinted at at least a couple times, it's an idea i've had for QUITE a while and is probably my strongest one. it's a big one, and i think it serves to really kick off the conflict in the overall story that wow, people REALLY do not respect hank and that's gotta change.

i still cant decide what i wanna title it between Bittersweet Birthday and Happy Birthache, but this is what happens: it's october, which means hank's birthday is coming up! he's sure excited! can't say the same for everyone else though. hank spends weeks planning his own birthday party - buying decorations, party favors, food and drinks as well as cake, and of course inviting folks. some say they'll come, others don't. but when the night of hank's birthday party arrives, nobody shows up. he calls brent, who's busy at the gas station, which is really his only excuse for not going. wanda hears about hank's failed party, and she decides to go and threaten everyone she can into going. although she likes to see hank suffer, she thinks that even he doesn't deserve to be ignored on his birthday. besides, she knows how it feels from experience (remember block party?). so at this point, hank is sitting outside his front door in the dark, when wanda shows up. hank assumes she came to kick him while he's down, but wanda tells him the contrary. soon, tons of people are pulling up to come party, including the rest of the main cast. except for brent. a little while after the party gets started, hank and wanda go back outside to talk. wanda explains why she did what she did, hank expresses surprise and gratitude. they also climb up on hank's roof and do a bit of stargazing while they continue to talk. eventually they go back in to party some more. the next morning, hank comes in the gas station and he's upset with brent for not showing up to his party. brent apologizes and gives hank a present. hank is thankful for the present, but it isnt enough to make him want to forgive brent. then the story concludes with a joke or something idk.

So, you kept them saved for another 12 hours.

I'll share longer parts under the cut for the reasons told above. If I decide to let these ideas go, at least I've posted some of it out there.

1. "No, not whipped cream," Roope said when they were planning for the show. "Cupcake frosting will hold up so much better and we can take it slow. Cream gets runny."

"Should the frosting be pink?" Sebastian suggested. "It's a Valentine's day special after all."

Roope snorted out a short laughter and shook his head, letting it hang slightly tilted to the side and shooting a mildly amused look at Sebastian.

"No, man," he said like stating the obvious, "Pink will look like you had a nasty skin condition going on, and nobody will believe that I would put my mouth on your dick with it. You could as well suggest chocolate."

Sebastian looks up at Brent, bites his lip and releases it slowly, licking the bit, red mark moist and clean.

"Yes."

(From a pwp piece where Sepe takes a trip to the ranch. This one is a Tumblr draft bc I'm afraid of Google docs. I'd have to research shooting to make any progress with this bc I'm not in the mood for writing porn and the scene needs a setting and some build-up anyway)

3. Sebastian smiles as he greets him, and his eyes linger in Rod’s, the gaze smoldering enough to slow down time the same way Sebastian can do with a puck around the goal.

A languid blink, like the kid's lids were heavy from wet dreams, it's like a slow motion deke that takes out the goalie, leaving the net gaping, offering itself to be taken.

The little pink tongue slips out to wet Sebastian's bottom lip as he nods his greeting, "Hi, Roddy. How're you tonight?"

"Oh, I'm fine if you're fine. You're fine, right?"

"Sure. I'm fine. Prepared and hungry."

"Hungry sounds good."

Sebastian lets a rippling smile flash on his lips. He stops right by Rod’s side and brushes the sleeve of his jacket lightly with his knuckles.

"So hungry," he says, lowering his voice and locking his eyes in his coach's. "Starving." He pauses, further lowering his voice until it's a soft whisper. "Desperate."

4. "You want to throw me in as a bait for Burnzie?" Sebastian chuckled and scratched the back of his head before sticking his tongue out from the corner of his mouth and running it over his upper lip. "Not gonna lie, that sounds hella hot."

(A super messy pwp that might be a gangbang or tons of tension or may just become a build-up for the ranch fic. Anyway, I found a pun in a Tumblr text post very inspiring and use it as a working title: call him jesus the way i make him bred and whine)

5. Pekka wakes up to a bunch of notifications on his phone screen: three missed video calls, two from Juuse, one from Sebastian. In addition to that, his inbox is flooded with video messages.

Bello Legacy to The Key of Happiness

If you followed me before the great deletion, Kiara’s adventure was once a gameplay legacy. I didn’t have plan, was going with the flow - No thoughts just vibes - but when I started to switch to a more story vibe, I realized there was plot holes everywhere. I even regretted doing the big wedding. Apart from Kiara, other characters didn’t have personalities (except Venessa maybe ?) or a purpose, they were just sims to me if that makes sense. Even Kaiden, he was just Kiara’s supportive boyfriend no matter what she does and that’s it. Answering OC’s questions was impossible for me because I had no idea of who he was. It was so frustrating that one day I deleted the whole legacy on here except my favorite posts. Then my game got corrupt and I lost my save. I had to rebuild everything, a good thing because I could make the changes that were needed.

What’s up with the story now : Everyone got a past and a personality even zodiac signs lol and that’s how I realized that Kiara and Kaiden are not compatible 👁️👄👁️ Like... what was I thinking ? My girl is an only child and lost her parents before turning 18 years (we’ll deep into that later), self-absorbed, ambitious and stubborn. Kaiden was raised by conservative parents, is selfish, a bit possessive and on top of that a big mama’s boy and the youngest sibling, a match made in hell. There’s no way they could be fine hence Kaiden’s behavior very different from the gameplay. Also working on the timeline, they got married very quickly because in the gameplay they did (their meeting to the wedding = 6 months) so now their relationship is ~ 1y and half.

I also made some changes to the timeline and relationships to fit the narrative. (got inspired by my save actually lol)

Kat, Flora and Armstrong (???) do not exist anymore - who remembers them anyway ? - mostly because I lost them and I’m too lazy to redo them lol

Kion relationship : Don and Kiara were good friends and used to f*ck from time to time - city girlzz 💅🏾 - but when Kaiden found out (they were not official, keep that in mind lol) he asked her to stop and she did but stayed friend with him. Nothing wrong there, right ? Well, Kaiden was still bothered by Don (he stays on his mind he got condos in that b*tch head lol) he gave her an ultimatum and dumbass Kiara agreed to it (Don didn’t help either because he hates Kevin aka Kaiden and was bad-mouthing him all the time). They made up, went official and got married not long after. 

Kainny relationship : Kaiden and Penny were neighbors and became good friends but the friendship turned into a situationship while he was in a thing-ish with Kiara (BOO ! BOO ! 🍅🍅🍅)  and she doesn’t know about any of this (too self-centered to notice lol) because men always LIE !!! Penny got tired of it and also gave him an ultimatum and he chose Kiara but never closed the door with Penny and he’s the one who introduce her to Kiara btw 🤭

KeyxNessa relationship : In the gameplay they were neighbors and then became bbf. I changed that : they’re BFF since highschool and Nessa grandma took care of Kiara after her dad died. They’re basically sisters.

Brent and Kaiden are still BFF. Kasen and Ida are friends with everyone. Penny too but for how long ? 👀

I said Kaiden’s family was fine with Kiara because I didn’t want my girl to suffer too much but that make no sense here so they’re still not fond of her except Marcus who hates her guts lol

Let’s just say : What happened before the wedding day isn’t canon.

Outcomes will be influenced by the gameplay tho so who knows how it will end 👀

In conclusion : I don’t want peace, I want problem always

MAN this Picard episode was TENSE.

Why can Jack and Sidney talk telepathically to each other? I get Jack maybe having some telepathy from Irumodic Syndrome but how did Sidney get telepathy too?

Anyway I ship these two for all the awkward hilarious in-law hijinks.

Brent Spiner still has it. Wow does he still have it. Going back and forth from Data to Lore like that and making it look so NATURAL? Who does God think He is putting that much talent in one body.

Where is my new favorite good cop/bad cop duo Raffi and Worf? I love them.

I want Shaw to be the hero by the end of the season and I also want him to live because I want to keep telling him I’m sorry for thinking he was a bad guy.

I am so enjoying this season, it’s what I wanted from the show all along.
