They're all in Humanities and most of them are in languages (I think languages and history?), except Cass who is a law student. Ousmane and Fatou were already good friends in high school, just like Selma, Leslie and Minh. Louis is a bit of a himbo. He's the Tol that teases Cass because she's Smol. I tend to think they're the friend group that befriended each other at the beginning of uni and then just... gradually realized they were all queer. Louis is the only straight one standing but who knows, maybe in a few years he'll realize that he's the one on the aro spectrum and he's not as alloromantic as he thought. They're frankly a fun bunch and writing their discord convs was one of the most hilarious things ever!

The entire country of Denmark!

How this happened, as far as I'm aware: Someone on Reddit realized that since asexuals made up 1% of the world's population, they'd outnumber the entire Danish military force by quite a bit. There's now an entire subreddit and Discord server dedicated to this meme. I'm just as baffled as you are.

I'm not sure that this includes aspecs, but I do believe it does - much of the discussion on the subreddit centered around which communities would play what roles, and so it might also include the aromantic community as a whole.

hey, just asking, but how do you feel about this new meme of mocking people who say "op is a x but go off i guess" because... im not exactly comfortable with it? idk i just get the feeling that its meant to mock aspec people or trans/nb people who call out someone, since it already happened. i got literally sent death threats after saying "op is an aphobe" so idk if its just me who finds this new meme uncomfortable or if its serious

Not gonna lie, I only use Tumblr for ace discourse, and most of my other internet interactions is on discord or something else son I haven't even seen it. But at face value it seems bad because people are mocking you being upset at people who are a part of bad groups. And also what the hell is wrong with those people sending death threats over it like... they are I desperate need of a fucking hobby

The amount of disrespect that exclusionists have for aces and aros as a whole is mindboggling. They treat both terms synonymous with cishet and then gaslight us when we point that out, saying "no we dont!!" When they very clearly do. Its exactly like how people throw straight trans people under the rug. I like a good het meme but unlike cis lgbp people, trans straight people suffer for their attraction on top of their gender. Forget about cishet aspecs for a second - exclusionists are IMMENSELY disrespectful to lgbt aspecs and that alone makes the exclusionist side invalid. Its the same reason you cant identify as a radfem or a truscum. Inherently, neither concept has to be transphobic; hell, i DO believe you need dysphoria to be trans. And radical feminism is just...radical feminism, nothing trans-exclusive about the term itself. But the harassment and bigotry perpetuated by people who go under those terms makes them 100% off limits. Its different slightly, but still. Exclusionists ruined the term exclusionist because they hurt lgbt aspecs. They hurt real, sga or trans aspecs. That should make you furious if you give a flying fuck about your lgbt siblings, but i guess exclusionists dont.
