Shadows of Starlight #1

That is A LOT to unpack here. I gotta start with Azlin Rell. I like the concept of him a lot. A jedi that fell to the dark side trying to find a way to kill the namless. But I don't understand why he killed that ship and all the people in the town. He was shutting off a potential path to Planet X. But that makes me think he's trying to keep the nameless alive. But that's not what he's saying. I'm just confused by his plan.

It was interesting seeing the Jedi prepare for totally not a war. It makes me wish we got something like that during The Clone Wars. Side Note: I'd totally be done for another series set during that time period, but it not being about any of the characters from the other TV show.

Seeing Reath was great! His new friend Ady was cool. I instantly liked her! Can't wait to see what else she's going to be in.

But yeah! I think overall, I enjoyed this a lot. I know things will get fleshed out in time. Like the missions Chancellor Soh was asking the Jedi to join in on. I just want it all now! It's good to have the High Republic back. Can't wait for more! -Chuck

there is hopefully a really interesting and unexpected explanation for what exactly he meant by this but in the meantime i will be choosing to believe azlin spend the last months hiding behind pillars and watching elzar eat his breakfasts from the vents. perhaps even looking through a keyhole at his midnight sparring sessions
