I am FINALLY catching up after three weeks on hols plus one week of "oh god reality" and I think, I *think*, I'm back on a roll. I just spent an entire hour backscrolling and adding to queue again and also trying to find one specific thing I hadn't tagged properly, so... sounds about normal for me? I also managed to write an entire piece over 2 days (most of which was yesterday morning) and I'm *proud* of it, and now giving some space before edits. Legacies is open along with a Pride & Prejudice anthology piece I have to work on (queer P&P?! oh yeah, baby!) and Project Birb. So... words are happening. Hot messy words, but words.

BACK IN TOWN

You won’t believe your eyes but I’m back in the game everyone ! 

It’s been a long time since I’ve been here but I needed a long break due to some upside downs in my personal life...

Harsh times to be honest. I absolutely lost the envy to write and to create. Which is quite rare for me...That’s why I left shamefully, without a word. I needed a break, I needed to be with myself. 

A couple of things made me realized that I really wanted to come back here. 

First of all, all the likes I received every day since I left. Really, I could not believe my eyes. I’ll never be thankful enough for all this love and support I received from you, readers, who just read and appreciate what I write. The fact that my writings could bring anything, even the most little thing, to someone, does really matter to me. And I’ll continue to do my best to satisfy you all.

Second of all, after watching The Northman, I realized that I missed my passion for Alexander and his work. This movie opened my eyes and reconnected me with this community and the fandoms I love. 

I’m deeply sorry for those who asked requests. Don’t worry, now that I’m back, I’ll honor your asks and I’ll do my best to fulfill your expectations.

Hollywood has lost another legend with the passing of James Caan at the age of 82. He’s pictured here with Billy Dee Williams, when the pair of stars played Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers in “Brian’s Song”. That gem of a movie was probably the first time I saw Caan on screen. After that, he was probably my favorite part of the Godfather saga as the hotheaded Sonny Corleone.

I loved him in “The Program”, “Misery”, “Elf” and he was easy the highlight of the tv show “Las Vegas”. Ed just screamed power in a powerful city. I watched a bit of his recent show “Back in the Game”.  The last time I encountered Caan was on Twitter where he was engaging and funny ending each tweet with “End of Tweet”.

I would like to formally apologize for dropping off the face of the earth.
