Okay so Eternal Summer has finally clicked for me. It’s an amazing song.
So what that now means, is that The New Abnormal is a perfect masterpiece. 10/10. One of the best records I’ve ever heard, it’s that fuckin good

In sorting through the CD collection last night I realised that I think there’s a box of discs missing (might still be in the storage locker somewhere, though I’m 99% sure we checked all of the boxes for CDs so I’m wondering if my mother took them) and most of them I’m not…overly bothered by. It’s stuff like Queen and The Beetles, as well as all of the star wars soundtracks from episodes 1 through 6. OK Computer and 4 Bowie CDs are also missing. I can replace those if really necessary, and like…it’s not that much of a loss. But the thing I’m most upset about is something I don’t think I can actually replace practically. And that is a CD I bought from a kid I went to school with. In fact we went to preschool together and were in most of the same classes from primary school until age 15/16. And then we used to get the bus to 6th form together. And this kid had a band with a bunch of other kids from school. And they were good. Like, actually good. And I paid £5 for their first album on CD. And I can’t find it anywhere. And…oh god I’ve just realised where it is. It was in the CD player in my car when the engine blew up. And in the chaos of emptying my car I forgot to take it out of the CD player. Fuck.

MUNA - "MUNA"
This album kicks ass. I love the hard-driving energy of the synths, and was delighted by the country music elements on "Kind of Girl." And best of all, it's very gay. Happy Pride month, all <3
