Seen a rumour on twitter that BBC bitesize might go due to BBC funding cuts. Bitesize is an amazing, free, educational resource that students love and was also incredibly useful during lockdown and when students had to self isolate.
The amount of work that must have gone into bitesize over the years is insane.
But, apparently, for profit revision websites may have lobbied the government, as they can't compete with such a comprehensive free resource whilst charging.
Which may be one of the reasons bitesize has to go.
And this whilst Nadhim Zahawi talks bullshit about every student getting access to free tutoring (newsflash, they won't).
Just another thing the Tories are doing in education to keep poor kids down.

Deku's BDAY: 15 days of stepbros drabble
01.
"I don't want to be your brother or friend," Katsuki snaps, hauling Izuku in for a biting, brutal kiss that leaves him breathless. He shoves Izuku back. "Do you understand?!"
Startled, Izuku is the one with blood in his mouth but Katsuki's face is cut raw like an open wound.
02.
Izuku stares at his feet. "Kacchan, can we hold hand when we cross the street?"
He snorts. "We're in fifth grade already, weirdo."
Izuku looks up in a panic. "I'm scared," he lies.
Katsuki sighs exasperatedly and reaches for his hand as Izuku tucks a smile between his lips.
03.
Katsuki snatches his hand back as though it burns. "What the fuck are you doing?" he demands.
Izuku blushes. "D-do you remember how we used to hold hands?"
Katsuki sneers. "We're not kids anymore," he says before storming off, leaving Izuku to sit alone with their memories.
04.
Katsuki frowns. "That's bad for you."
Toga grins and flicks the cigarette's ash in his face. "What you've never want things that could ruin you?"
Immediately, he thinks of how Izuku haunts his goddamn dream each night yet he spent every waking hours wishing he was back sleep.
05.
"It's okay if you don't see Katsuki in a romantic light, but have you really never considered it?" Mina asks.
Izuku thinks of their last kiss and the lingering heat that took hold of him afterward, then he thinks of his mom and Mitsuki and it leaves him cold. "Never," he answers.
06.
"Come home," he begs.
Katsuki scorns. "You don't get it." Abruptly, he steps forward and with wide eyes Izuku falls back till he hit the wall and Katsuki is just a breath away. "I can't fucking stay in that house," he says, sounding aggrieved. "I don't trust myself around you."
07.
Katsuki shoves the bento box into Izuku's arms. "So you don't starve, idiot."
"But what will you eat?"
"You're getting my shitty leftover," he says, and leaves after that. Izuku lifts the lid and it's all his favorite, uneaten and painstakingly made. "Liar," he says, smiling.
08.
Mitsuki glares. "It's my wedding with Inko, so can't you make an effort to smile for our first family photo?"
"No," Katsuki snaps, as Izuku tries to diffuse the tense situation. But how can he smile when one of the happiest days of his mom's life is in fact his worst day ever?
09.
"Izuku, you're still young so it's okay to live for yourself and be selfish with your desires," Inko consoles. "Isn't there something you want that you would risk everything for?"
Without even thinking about it, the image of Katsuki flashes in his head, and his heart races.
10.
"When I take gold at this year invitational," he says, as though winning the kendo championship is sure thing, "give me three months of your time to prove that I can be good to you."
Unable to find his voice, Izuku can only nod, not knowing if he want Katsuki to win or lose.
11.
"What are you doing here?" Katsuki frowns, hauling the shinai bag over his shoulder.
Izuku hesitates, then, "You been practicing late everyday," he says.
"I don't want to leave a single chance of losing. It'll be a 110% victory." He looks directly at Izuku when he said it.
12.
The clash of the shinais reverberate across the hall as Katsuki is pressed back by his opponent and Izuku nervously watches on.
Losing isn't even a consideration. "Win, Kacchan!" he hollers.
And almost as though Katsuki can hear him, he suddenly surges forward to claim victory.
13.
Izuku looks around to make sure they're alone, then he darts in for a quick kiss on Katsuki's cheek. "You stole a kiss from me first," he says, blushing. "It's only right."
Katsuki is stunned, then he growls and pulls Izuku closer in. "Let me show you what a real kiss is, nerd."
14.
Even in a noisy crowd, Katsuki still manages to lock eyes with him as he lifts the gold medal around his neck and he deliberately kisses it, never looking away from Izuku.
Izuku goes red, covering his face in embarrassment. Not fair, he thinks. He has no defense against that.
15.
"I want to walk around and hold hand with my boyfriend," Katsuki says, grasping Izuku's hand, "is that okay?" While unwilling to let go of Izuku, his tone is hesitant as though Izuku can revoke his right to it at any moment.
"Yes," Izuku breathes, squeezing their hand together.
