@danicamckellar - What an amazing 2000s-themed night! (Do you like the Elle Woods-inspired 2000s look I ended up going with? 😋) #DanceParty2EndALZ was magical in every way. SO many friends coming together from both @gactv & @hallmarkchannel for an important cause, supporting @alzassociation. 💜 So many talented friends performed, and we raised $300K! Shout-out to founder @kimberlywilliamspaisley and powerhouse hosts @nikdeloach & @ashleywilliamsandcompany (how did we not get a pic together??). And what a treat to get a mini (comedy!) concert from the one and only @bradpaisley before the event. 🎸 . . Thank you to everyone who joined us in donating, and we can't wait for next year!! 💜 . . #alzheimers #2000sfashion #2000s #ElleWoods #legallyblonde 😁
*sidenote* I have been incredibly self conscious of the appearance of my front tooth since knocking the last repair off. So that's why I haven't been doing this.
top pros and cons to your line of work? (from @daughtrychris )
HONESTY HOUR: Ask me anything. Nothing is off limits.
PROS:
Meeting and working my idols like Axl Rose, Guns and Roses, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, and so many, many, more.
Working with people like Dan and Shay, Jason Aldean, John Legend, Keith Urban, Cody Johnson, Brad Paisley, and Cody Johnson on collaborations.
Sharing the music I love no matter the genre.
Being part of the small, intimate, American Idol family with you. @daughtrychris
We saw Brad Paisley last night, his politics aside he put on one hell of a show. I am always skeptical of acts who don't have opener and come out hammering away at their hits. Often times this means they are just going to hammer through the set and leave. Brad knocked out 3 songs before he said much of anything, he was just warming up the masses. Great show, by a good showmen.
Brad was in mid song when he took out a pen, signed the guitar he was playing and gave it to a kid in the crowd, that's to damned cool.
