As the World Caves In, pt II
Pairings: Rengiyuu (Rengoku x Giyuu) Words: 5.4k (7.8k total) Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Everybody Lives AU Warnings: (full fic) Graphic depictions of canon-typical violence, medical procedures, blood, bodily injury
If you let him live, I’ll tell him everything, I swear.
It was now or ever. And now he’d gotten so close to never, closer than he’d ever thought he’d get in all his wildest nightmares, that the unbridled fear of it now carried the words unspoken up his windpipe, threatening to burst.
“K-Kyojuro,” Giyuu began. And Kyojuro looked at him with those stunning, earnest eyes--eye--and Giyuu’s next words fell from his mouth in a huff. “Damn it,”
This is part 2/2. Read the previous part here!

“You ought to be more careful, my friend!” Kyojuro chided as he unbuttoned Giyuu’s uniform. “Look, you’ve ruined another uniform shirt!” He was referring to the large slash on the shoulder of Giyuu’s uniform, courtesy of the demon they’d just taken down together. Though they’d only known each other a few months at that point, Giyuu had learned that Kyojuro apparently preferred to dress his wounds himself despite Giyuu being fully capable, and he knew Kyojuro better than to try to argue.
He said nothing while Kyojuro frowned at his bare and bloody chest, appraising the long but superficial wound that spanned across his pale skin, coming to a stop at the hollow of his throat. He did tilt his head slightly back to allow Kyojuro to inspect the full extent of the wound, his quiet way of thanking him. Kyojuro hummed to himself. His golden eyes suddenly flicked from Giyuu’s wound to his face, stealing away Giyuu’s breath in a surprised huff.
“Does this hurt?” he asked, abruptly serious. Giyuu shook his head. Rengoku had a habit of making him lose his train of thought when he looked at him like that. “You shouldn’t have jumped in front of me. I would have been alright!”
Giyuu stared at him. The demon they’d been fighting had prepared one vicious strike right after another, while Rengoku had been finding his footing from the previous. Rather than allow the strike to land on the Flame Hashira, Giyuu had stepped in with dead calm, both sparing Kyojuro from the attack and causing it to fall on himself.
To Giyuu, his actions made perfect sense. Kyojuro was obviously the superior Hashira. He felt it only natural to protect the greater asset to the demon slayer corps, even if it meant putting his life on the line.
Kyojuro raised an eyebrow and cracked a small grin. “I know that look.” He said. It was the look Giyuu did when he was about to try to argue with him on something: brows slightly furrowed, gaze steady with heavy lids, lips parted. Realizing he was caught, Giyuu relaxed into a half smile and allowed Kyojuro to gently dab dirt and debris away from his wound.
“You may be reckless,” Kyojuro began, “But I have to admit, that eleventh form is incredible! How on earth did you learn something like that? Ah, I bet I could practice for a hundred years and never even get close!” His gaze now focused on Giyuu’s wound, he didn’t notice how bright pink his friend’s face had become. Kyojuro spoke highly of everyone, but praise of his swordsmanship coming from someone as incredible as him was still a high compliment.
Kyojuro continued. “Such fantastic work, I’m truly lucky to be on your good side!” He laughed and patted Giyuu’s chest with one hand and retrieved a first aid kit with a suture needle with the other. His hand was rough but warm against Giyuu’s permanently cold skin.
“For now.” Giyuu joked back. Kyojuro blinked once, surprised and a little disbelieving that Giyuu had actually cracked a joke, but after noticing the tiny upward tilt of his lips, smiled even wider and laughed even harder.
“I’d better toe the line then! Otherwise I’ll be the one needing stitches!” He laughed at his own joke while stitching his wound and Giyuu actually smiled along. Few could melt through his icy silences like Kyojuro could. Few understood what he was trying to say even when he was silent like Kyojuro did. “Ah, you always know how to make me laugh.” Kyojuro added with a sigh that made Giyuu’s heart ache.
Kyojuro’s half-open eyes saw white, made hazy by tears clinging to his dark lashes. White drifted above him, and for a moment he drifted with it, unaware that he was even conscious, just floating. Once his mind returned to him he tried to blink to dispel the haze but found himself unable, paralyzed, flat on his back and floating through nothingness. For a few moments he believed himself to be dead. Until the pain struck him.
He considered himself no stranger to pain, but this was unlike anything else. His entire body felt shattered. Even something as simple as breathing was a battle, as if his lungs and the walls of his chest themselves were locked in combat against one another. If he was indeed dead, this must be hell.
He thought so, until he heard a distant voice reaching to him from beyond the endless white oblivion around him. There were gentle hands on him, as if bringing him out of the haze and back into reality.
Someone was cradling the back of his head, tilting it slightly upward as they removed bandages from the left side of his face. The light changed slightly as they did so, though nothing came into focus. Fingers brushed lightly over his left eye. Whoever the hands belonged to, whoever was nursing him, sighed.
The bandages were replaced. A warm rag brushed against the aching skin of his arms. A hand rested lightly against his chest, directly over his heart, feeling it beating steadily. Kyojuro still couldn’t move or speak but whoever was tending to him apparently didn’t mind. The voice was silent while they worked but the silence was as gentle as their hands. That silence, its softness, the coolness of the hands on his body reminded him of something…
The haze slowly began to lift, as if his nurse’s gentle tending was pulling him back up out of the nothingness and into reality. As his mind cleared he groped for anything to anchor him back to the present; he remembered a cold wind, a column of flames.
“Another letter from Tanjiro today.” His nurse said quietly over the rustle of papers. “And…one from Uzui.”
Kyojuro would have leapt out of bed, if he could move. The kids! The train! The upper rank! I’ve got to get back there!  Kyojuro wanted to reach out, tell the speaker I don’t care about a bunch of letters when Tanjiro and the others could be in danger—
A letter from Tanjiro? He’s alright?
“Uzui’s letter first, then?” The voice said. More rustling of paper. A clearing of the throat. “Dear Rengoku, I apologize for my absence, since this damn mission is taking longer than I expected, I’m absolutely certain you’re beside yourself with grief that yours truly isn’t there with you—” the speaker scoffed, and Kyojuro would have laughed too, if he could move. “Anyways, I’ll spare you the non-flashy details and regale you with the full story when I can see you again. Please get better soon, the mansion is too boring without you. Tengen.”
In full earnest now, and with little else to do but lie there, Kyojuro tried to remember what had happened. The last image he could conjure was the electric flashing of blue and pink, a crazed laugh, and distantly, someone crying and calling his name.
He assumed he was recovering in the butterfly mansion, but how long had it been since he’d fallen unconscious? Long enough that he was getting letters. He wondered if he’d gotten any from Senjuro. Or Giyuu.
Giyuu.
He’d just been dreaming about Giyuu. One of the first times he’d noticed Giyuu blushing at him, one of the many times Giyuu had made him laugh. That’s what the silence had reminded him of. With great difficulty, with everything he had, Kyojuro managed to grunt softly.
Halfway through Tanjiro’s letter, the voice stopped. Even unable to see, Kyojuro could feel eyes on him, knew them to be deep and indigo and discerning. He sucked in a labored breath against the pain wrapping around his ribs, and this time managed a groan.
“Kyojuro?”
God I’d know that voice anywhere.
Kyojuro’s eyes slid closed, then open once again, still heavy-lidded, still teary, but open. The fog around him lifting, the first thing he saw was his nurse, pale skin, a mess of raven black hair and a set of indigo eyes.
In spite of everything, he smiled. “Giyuu,” he murmured.
Giyuu felt his heart stop in his chest, his relief so intense it nearly paralyzed him. Kyojuro was looking at him. Kyojuro was alive. His world had crashed back into orbit again. He grabbed his friend by the arms and held him there tightly, desperate not to let him go again.
“Kyo! God—” Thank god, thank god you’re alright! I was so worried, I was lost without you! His throat was so tight he could hardly breathe let alone speak. “You’re awake.” He managed stupidly after a moment. Kyojuro opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out for a moment. For once, Giyuu actually spoke instead. “Kyo…” he found himself saying again.
Kyojuro lifted his head and tried to sit up, straining against the unbelievable pain that shook his entire body. He caught a glimpse of a large, blood-shadowed bandage over his abdomen before his forehead suddenly bumped into Giyuu. He must’ve been closer than he’d thought. The unexpected bump sent him back down against the bed with a groan. Giyuu still hadn’t taken his hands off of his arms.
“Please don’t try to get up.” Giyuu murmured. “Your depth perception is probably quite off.”
Kyojuro frowned at him and opened his mouth to ask why he’d say that, but another bright pulse of pain behind his left eye answered the question for him. Giyuu watched him with an expression Kyojuro had never seen him wear. His eyes were wide, tearful, endless. His pale lower lip trembled along with his hands, though he didn’t say anything.  There was about a million things Kyojuro could ask: What happened? Where are the kids? How long has it been? He decided on something different.
“Kyo, huh?” He asked, his lips turning slightly upward into a smile. Giyuu stared. “Where’d that come from? I like it.”
Leave it to Kyojuro to say something like that at a time like this. That little smile on Kyojuro’s lips made Giyuu want to smile with him, to laugh and grab him tightly and never let him go. But he remembered the feeling of those lips against his, the taste of blood as he breathed for him, and the beginnings of his smile faltered. He came so close to never seeing that smile again. The weight of that knowledge pressed down on his shoulders so heavily that Giyuu dropped his head down and pressed his forehead against Kyojuro’s arm, as if in prayer. Overcome.
Kyojuro watched him and his heart ached. He’d never seen Giyuu this upset, or at least he’d never shown it this plainly. It seemed like a fairly strong reaction to a simple battlefield injury…there must be something more to this situation he didn’t understand. He called Giyuu’s name softly and waited for him to look up. “I’m alright.” Kyojuro said, softly for once, his throat dry and raw. “It’s alright.”
Giyuu looked up. “No, Kyo, you’re not. You were dead.” His brows fell heavily over his eyes in apparent anger. “I had to beat your heart for you, I—I had to breathe for you!” His voice was low, tightly measured because if he spoke any louder or with any more ferocity he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep tears from falling.
There was a brief silence while Kyojuro appeared to consider what he’d said. “And the train passengers? The kids?”
Giyuu’s eyes briefly widened in shock, but his brows were quick to pull down again. “Are you not hearing me? You were dead. It’s nothing short of a miracle that you aren’t dead now!” Kyojuro looked at him, still waiting for his answer. Giyuu’s frown deepened but the quiver in his lower lip betrayed him. “Will you worry about yourself, just for one moment?”
Though Giyuu had pulled away, Kyojuro still found an errant strand of his hair to curl between his fingers. “Why would I do that, when you do it so well?”
“Kyojuro, please.” Giyuu begged. “You—” he dropped his gaze again and struggled to conjure the words he meant. “You’ve been in a coma for more than three months. An upper rank had his arm through your solar plexus!” Kyojuro managed to look down at that shadowed bandage on his stomach, then back up at Giyuu as he continued.
“Kyo, you may never wield a sword again. You came very close to never breathing again! And I—” he snapped his mouth shut and averted his gaze from Kyojuro’s.
Still fighting through shockwaves of pain, Kyojuro watched as Giyuu stared at the bandage on his stomach. “Giyuu.” He said gently, cautiously. He knew Giyuu to have a temper, but he was acting differently than Kyojuro had ever seen, like there was something he needed to say but couldn’t find the words. “If I would have died, I would have done so gladly! It’s the risk we take as demon slayers—” he fell into silence as Giyuu looked back up again, his eyes filled with tears.
“Am I supposed to have been glad, too?” He asked bitterly. “You talk about yourself like your life is not worth anything! As if—” he stopped again. His breaths were coming faster and faster now. Giyuu did not continue, so Kyojuro did.
“My life isn’t worth any more than anyone else’s…” he began. Apparently on a roll of surprising him, Giyuu cut him off.
“Well it isn’t worth any less, either!” He exclaimed, not shouting, but with an intensity that rivaled Kyojuro’s. “God you remind me of Sabito!” He added in a huff.
That stopped Kyojuro dead, all attempts at argument shut down. Giyuu never mentioned his family. Not even silently. He’d only learned he’d had a sister after they’d already known each other for more than a year. Sabito and Makomo he only learned of through Urokodaki. He watched Giyuu’s face and waited for him to continue. He did, though silently.
Giyuu looked down and shook his head, his brow furrowed. You’re making this so difficult. Kyojuro watched his jaw clench and unclench, his mouth opening for a moment before clamping shut again. I need to tell you something. Fat, heavy tears fell from his eyes and onto the backs of his hands, which tightened themselves onto the blanket near Kyojuro’s forearm. It’s killing me.
Looking down, head bowed, Giyuu was thinking of the bargain he’d made. If you let him live, I’ll tell him everything. He felt as overwhelmed as he was when he’d first come to the horrific scene at the train crash, his world spinning. His foolish and hopeful and frightened heart cracked deeper and deeper and threatened to come apart altogether as he tried to find the words to make Kyojuro understand.
It was a long time before Giyuu spoke aloud again, and when he did, his voice shook.
“Kyojuro.” he finally said. “You think to be brave is to be selfless. As if you have no regard at all for your own life. That isn’t bravery. It’s self destruction.” He remembered the feeling of Kyojuro’s ribs snapping beneath his hands. He remembered feeling Sabito’s, too. He couldn’t meet Kyojuro’s gaze, knowing without trying that the look he found there would burn his resolve away in an instant.
“You may think your life isn’t worth more than anyone else’s, but—” closing his eyes, Giyuu breathed out a sigh. “It is. To me.”
That was a surprise. Kyojuro stared at him, his shaking hands and the gaze that refused to meet his. He was even more surprised to find a faint pink blush spreading over Giyuu’s cheeks and nose.
They fell into silence while Kyojuro watched Giyuu’s blush deepen.
He’d always loved Giyuu the same way he loved anyone or anything else: loudly. My friend, how wonderful to see you! You always know how to make me laugh! Every compliment, every smile, Kyojuro was saying it over and over without ever saying it. I love you I love you I love you.
But Giyuu had never been the type to do anything aloud. He loved quietly, privately, almost invisibly if someone wasn’t paying attention. Knowing his order at their udon cart without asking. Stepping in front of him to spare him a strike from a demon. Gripping onto the blankets of his cot, unwilling to meet his eye, unwilling to let go. I love you I love you I love you.
Kyojuro was more than glad to allow their I love yous to remain unsaid, unspoken but still there, always there. He had become fluent in Giyuu’s body language, the soft silence that fell between them when they were together.
But now the silence was uneasy with tension, as if there was something aching to be said.
“Damn it,” he cursed, moving as he spoke, finally releasing the blanket and grabbing instead onto Kyojuro’s arm.
Before Kyojuro could ask what he needed to say, Giyuu had closed the distance between them, taken him gently but quickly by the sides of his face, and kissed him.
Kyojuro was so surprised he didn’t have time to move or react, just let Giyuu kiss him, his hands gripping tightly onto the sore sides of his bandaged face. Eyes wide open Kyojuro watched Giyuu’s brow pull up, his eyes tightly shut as if in great pain.
And he was. Giyuu had never felt such agony, such elation, such horror at feeling Kyojuro’s lips on his again. It had never occurred to him until that moment that Kyojuro may not feel the same as he did, that his friend—could he call him a friend?—may be shocked, or worse, disgusted. But he couldn’t bring himself to care, now that Kyojuro’s lips didn’t taste like blood anymore.
The ecstasy of finally letting out what had been clawing up the inside of his throat since the first moment he ever laid eyes on Kyojuro, bright and beautiful in the Master’s garden, and the fear of losing him, the trauma of coming very close, raged a battle in his chest that crashed through the rest of his body until he finally was forced to pull away, gasping.
Kyojuro didn’t dare speak, just watched as Giyuu slowly let his breath out and leaned back.
“I can’t lose anyone else I love.” Giyuu concluded. His voice was no louder than a whisper and yet it echoed through the room as if he’d shouted it. The fear eventually coming out on top in the battle raging in his aching heart, Giyuu tried to move fully away, to stand and brush off his haori and regain whatever dignity he had left. Once again Kyojuro’s hand came down on his wrist, stopping his escape.
Kyojuro stared into his face until Giyuu looked at him, marveling at what he’d just done. Kyojuro had known for a long time that he loved Giyuu. And he’d known that in his own, quiet way, Giyuu loved him too. But now he’d said the quiet part out loud. What bravery it must’ve taken. Kyojuro looked at Giyuu’s lips, pale and thin and pressed into a hard, nervous line. He looked down and stared at Giyuu’s wrist in his hand. He released it, but captured Giyuu’s hand instead.
He kissed the back of Giyuu’s hand, his fingers, the inside of his wrist, the back of his forearm, pulling him down and down again until their faces were inches from each other, indigo eyes meeting gold. All those times he’d watched Giyuu flush pink at something he’d said, all the tiny moments he’d noticed the tiny changes of expression on his face, and Kyojuro had never dreamed of kissing him. Not because he didn’t want to, but because he’d accepted long ago that they would always share something unspoken, and that would be enough.
They stared at one another, breathing heavy. Giyuu watched as Kyojuro’s eye traveled down his face and landed on his lips before Kyojuro pulled him down far enough to kiss him back.
It was as if he’d never been injured in the first place. All the pain that had rattled his ribs just moments prior was gone and it was a hundred times worse. His chest no longer ached and it ached more intensely than ever before. In fact he’d never felt more aflame, Giyuu’s icy cold lips on his burned away any other thought besides Giyuu’s name.
He felt Giyuu take a breath and relax against him. He felt his lips part slightly beneath his. And then in spite of himself, in spite of everything, Kyojuro smiled.
Giyuu felt Kyojuro’s lips turn upwards against his, then felt him shake slightly as he began to laugh. Giyuu opened his eyes and found Kyojuro’s closed in joy, his head thrown back as far as he could manage while still lying in a cot, laughter beginning to peel from him like church bells. If it were anyone else, Giyuu would assume they were mocking him. But not Kyojuro.
“What could you possibly be laughing at?” Giyuu murmured, resting his hand on Kyojuro’s cheek. Kyojuro tried to stifle his giggles and Giyuu realized how red his friend’s face had become.
“All that time,” Kyojuro began with a sigh. “All that time I wanted to kiss you…Who knew I had to do was die!” He laughed again despite the pain in his stomach. Giyuu frowned at him, trying very hard to be serious.
“That isn’t funny.” He chided. Kyojuro just laughed harder, louder, stronger, as if Giyuu’s kiss had healed him. Giyuu rolled his eyes, but for once he didn’t think about how close he’d come to never hearing that laugh again. He didn’t think about how Kyojuro’s eyes had been staring blankly up at nothing, how his golden skin had paled and his chest fallen still. That laugh was like the sun parting through clouds, and for once Giyuu just sighed and chuckled with him. The sound of his laughter made Kyojuro laugh even harder until they both devolved into giggles.
Since Kyojuro’s laughter was both very distinctive and quite loud, it was bound to attract attention as other inhabitants of the butterfly mansion began to follow the sound. Giyuu leapt nearly a foot in the air when he heard a voice from behind him.
“Mr. Rengoku?” Giyuu quickly moved back from Kyojuro, who released his hand, though both relaxed when they saw Tanjiro standing in the doorway, his eyes already filled with tears. “Mr. Rengoku!” Tanjiro shouted, and sprinted forward.
“Young Kamado!” Kyojuro grinned at the way Giyuu moved back to allow Tanjiro in beside him. “Ah, how good to see you!”
All Tanjiro managed to say was his name as his eyes welled with tears. Kyojuro put his hand on his head. “Don’t cry, I’m alright!” He said softly. “Besides, I don’t want you tearing that belly wound open again!”
Tanjiro looked up, then at Giyuu, whose face was neutral and measured. “Mr. Rengoku, my stomach is all healed. It’s been three months.”
“Ah. So it has.” Kyojuro shifted and tried to get a better look at the boy. Without speaking, or having been asked, Giyuu slid his arm beneath Kyojuro’s shoulders to help him sit up.
Tanjiro couldn’t help but let out another sob. “I’m so glad you’re alright! Mr. Tomioka hasn’t left your side since you got here!” Though escaping Tanjiro’s notice, Giyuu went bright pink and set his jaw. Kyojuro grinned at him.
“That doesn’t surprise me at all.” He said softly, speaking to Tanjiro but looking at Giyuu as he helped him settle in the new, more upright position.
Next to follow the sound was Shinobu herself, who was so surprised upon appearing in the doorway to find Kyojuro looking up adoringly at Giyuu, holding him by the shoulders, his face bright pink, that she actually froze for a moment. It did not take her long to realize what Giyuu had done, and she smiled, blinking away tears. Finally.
Then she put her hands on her hips, blinked the tears away, and gave Giyuu the chiding of a lifetime for daring not to tell her that Kyojuro had awoken. Inosuke appeared next, already yelling, leaping onto the foot of Kyojuro’s bed and declaring Kyojuro the master of death itself. Zenitsu was quick to follow, carrying a half-awake and tiny Nezuko with him. Once her bright eyes fell onto Kyojuro’s she leapt from Zenitsu’s arms and joined Inosuke on the foot of Kyojuro’s bed, her delighted voice muffled by her muzzle but still clearly excited.
Any Hashira who wasn’t on a mission joined them. Mitsuri’s bright—if shrill—sobs of joy briefly drowned out anyone else’s attempt at speech, Sanemi sternly but firmly put his hand on Kyojuro’s shoulder, his jaw clenched tightly, Gyomei offered a prayer of gratitude. But the room stopped when Senjuro arrived. He stared at Kyojuro in the doorway for a long moment, as if disbelieving that he was really awake and breathing. It took both Shinobu and Giyuu to keep Kyojuro from leaping out of bed to greet him. Senjuro ended up sitting on the bed beside his brother, handing him letters that Giyuu had handed him and helping Kyojuro catch up on three months’ worth of missed correspondence.
It was only then that Kyojuro’s attention was jarred enough from Giyuu to look around at the scene surrounding his sickbed. On a table behind Giyuu was a stack of letters, cards, and notes. Beside the letters were gifts, wrapped in colorful paper or fabric, stacks upon stacks of bento, boxes of candy, several vases of flowers, several more wilted bouquets of lying on the floor beside his table. All of it had been carefully organized; The notes had all been gently unfolded and stacked in chronological order, the bottom boxes of bento had been opened, likely emptied of their contents before they could spoil--it had been three months, after all--rinsed and replaced on the table. The flowers had clearly been traded out for fresh ones each time the previous bundle wilted. Kyojuro couldn’t help but smile even wider at Giyuu the more he noticed his work. There he was, saying it over and over without anybody but Kyojuro knowing. I love you, I love you, I love you.
Though typically Kyojuro never seemed to tire, he had just cheated death after all, and so much commotion from so many well-wishers was becoming difficult to keep up with. Shinobu was quick to pull rank even on other Hashira and clear the mansion out when she noticed his eyelids becoming heavy. Only Giyuu and Senjuro lingered while she caught Kyojuro up on his injuries.
“I'm sure you’ve already noticed the injury to your left eye. It was ruptured. We treated it with medicinal ointments and managed to close the wound, but your pupil doesn’t react to light anymore…I’m afraid that eye will be permanently blind.” Kyojuro nodded slowly, remembering feeling Giyuu changing the bandages there before he was fully awake, remembering how he’d bumped into Giyuu’s head with his new lack of depth perception.
Shinobu continued, though her voice became gentle and slow. “The wound to your solar plexus was the most severe. It went all the way through your torso and damaged your spinal cord.” She told Kyojuro. Senjuro and Giyuu had already heard this from her, but it hurt a little to watch Kyojuro’s reaction to the reality of his injuries. His eyes wandered down his own stomach, across the bandage, and toward his feet. “It caused damage to the nerves that control your left leg. So far it seems like it still moves, but I don’t know how strong it will ever be.”
You may never wield a sword again, Giyuu had told him. Kyojuro had breezed past the statement at first, just glad to be alive. Now, staring at his left foot and trying to wiggle his toes, finding with a strike of fear that he could only manage to move the foot a matter of millimeters, Kyojuro swallowed but set his jaw, stiff-lipped, trying to look strong in front of his brother.
“I see.” He managed.
Shinobu laid out an aggressive rehabilitation plan for him, to start as soon as he was ready, then parted with an oddly knowing look that made Giyuu squirm just a little. Nothing got past her. Senjuro lingered a bit longer, but as intuitive as he was, nothing really got past him either. He could see his brother’s head beginning to nod as exhaustion overtook him. And he could see the way it nodded toward Giyuu’s faithful and unwavering hand on his shoulder, his cheek falling against the back of Giyuu’s palm. Senjuro slid off of the bed and invented an excuse to leave, letting Kyojuro begin to drift. Before he left though, he met Giyuu’s eye.
“Thank you, Mr. Tomioka.” He said quietly. Giyuu nodded silently at him; he’d been thanked by Senjuro several times before during the blur of these three months, once the boy learned how his brother had managed to survive the battlefield. Senjuro’s eyes were on Giyuu’s pale hand as Kyojuro’s cheek fell against it. “Thank you for saving my brother.” Senjuro continued in a whisper.
Giyuu nodded again, though this time it was because he couldn’t think of anything else to say. Senjuro left the two alone in the wing of the butterfly mansion, the light of evening turning gold around them. Giyuu nodded a third time, this time just to himself, because he couldn’t think of a way to say Kyojuro is the one who saved me aloud.
He felt Kyojuro sigh against him and looked down. Kyojuro’s good eye was open again, looking down at his own feet. “What’s going to happen?” He asked, mostly to himself, trying to move his defective left leg and frowning when he failed. After a moment he looked up to meet Giyuu’s gaze.
“I don’t know.” Giyuu admitted. With a defunct left leg and no depth perception, it was quite clear Kyojuro wouldn’t be wielding a sword any time soon, perhaps ever again. He’d be forced to retire as a Hashira. He swallowed and watched Kyojuro, who seemed to be thinking very hard.
He’d been born a Hashira, the blood was in him from the start. He’d always thought he’d die a Hashira, too. It wasn’t just the cornerstone of his identity but the very basis of it; everything else was built up from there. His entire concept of himself was going to crumble without his sword, without the flames curling from his lips as he wielded it. Without the knowledge, the certainty that he would eventually die in service of their cause. Now, Kyojuro didn’t know what he was going to die for.
Kyojuro looked into Giyuu’s eyes and watched them carefully as they began to shine. His ivory skin was glowing in the dying evening light, his hand was cool and soft against his cheek. He looked past Giyuu at the stacks of gifts on the table, the letters Senjuro had read for him and left for him. And he smiled. And he kissed Giyuu’s hand again and he smiled even wider, lips still against his cool skin.
“Me neither.” He said softly.
He did know what he was going to live for.
Evening fell into night with Giyuu by Kyojuro’s side, where he’d been all along and would be as long as he allowed him to remain. Their hands eventually entwined again, Kyojuro every so often kissing Giyuu’s as if in awe that he could. Each time Giyuu felt a little more faint. Each time he watched Kyojuro’s chest move up and down he relaxed a little more. By the time the sun had slipped down over the horizon Giyuu was practically asleep too, leaning against Kyojuro’s cot.
Kyojuro watched the back of Giyuu’s head, tiredly carded his hand through Giyuu’s mess of black hair, couldn’t keep from smiling.
“I love you.” He whispered aloud to Giyuu. Because he could just say it now, because he still had breath to whisper it into the dark room, because his heart had kept beating long enough to see Giyuu turn slightly to look at him, eyes heavy.
“I love you too.” He whispered back, aloud. The words came as easily as breathing now. He settled his head back against Kyojuro’s cot, keeping his neck craned back so he could look at him for just a little long before sleep overtook them both. I love you too, he said, silently.

The GO brainrot is well underway, we’re only 7 months out of season 2 and I dont know how I will cope until season 3! But I have been ravenously consuming all of your lovely meta, fanfiction, and fanart and I have finally decided to add my messy ball of thought yarn to this hellsite!
Warning: this is going to be long and wild, I have no real life people to talk to about Good Omens, and I really need an outlet to gush about these ineffable idiots.
Tumblr media
SO! Shall we begin?
S3E1 will open with the great war/the fall. The opening of the previous seasons have been Crowley and Aziraphales earliest meetings, it makes sense season 3 will mirror this. I’m hoping we will get more context of their relationship; had they become closer after S2E1’s ‘before the beginning’ ? Will we see them going to war, will Aziraphale come face to face with Angel!Crowley on the battlefield? Will Aziraphale search for him among the fallen?
Somethings up… with memory. The way I look at it, season 2 was meant to bridge the storyline gap between armageddon and the second coming. It’s there to set us up for another world ending plot and also to give us context for season 3. I think the introduction of the idea that memories can just be manipulated willy-nilly by the big boss, and Gabriels little vacation as Jim serve exactly to show us that this happens. It says: look heaven does this! they were just casually going to do it to the Supreme Archangel, no questions asked. Crowleys memory, in this regard, has been a topic of debate. I think the biggest clue that he indeed has suffered some sort of memory loss is when he’s talking to Jimbriel who says he feels like “an empty house”. Crowley later finishes Jimbriels thought with “I know, looking at where the furniture isn’t.” I think he is downright kind to Jim in the bookshop and chummy with him because they have some sort of kinship, maybe from when they were angels, but more probably because Crowley feels it through the loss of Gabriels memories. Maybe he understands and relates in a way to what he is going through. His not remembering Saraquael or Furfur could just be chalked up to Crowley being an asshole sometimes. I think Crowley has definitely worked on recovering his memory some if this is the case. He remembers Aziraphale though from their time as angels so what specifically might he have forgotten?
Crowley will be a Duke of Hell/Grand Duke of Hell. Not only was Crowley offered the position by Beelzebub, but the blocking in that scene, where Crowley leans across the dual thrones to be in the very center seems to be foreshadowing it. I’ve seen multiple people make this prediction and it makes the most sense to me. What is Crowley gonna do on earth wallow and mope around the bookshop? Look he’s a disaster puppy yes but he’s also in love with the new Supreme Archangel. In the final moments of S2 he is sad, but he also looks determined. He’s angry, but I don’t think he’s angry with Aziraphale. And if there’s one way to keep an eye on Aziraphale and all this second coming nonsense, being a high ranking member of hell seems like a good idea to me.
Is Maggie more than human? Nah I dont think so. Look Maggies got a lot of weird stuff going on sure but I think her most important role in S2 was to be Crowleys mirror (and deliver the gut punch “you never say what you’re really thinking” but we are skipping that). Forget the masonic and biblical imagery associated with her, maybe all the mis-spelling in her note was showing us was that the bubbly blonde is tied to the demon instead of the angel like you might immediately assume? Sure Nina is edgy and closed off, but she’s the one in a toxic relationship, and she doesn’t realize how Maggie feels about her, not until an awning full of water (1941 nazi bomb) is dropped on her head. Maggie is patient and supportive of Nina. She ‘saves the day’ by grabbing her an array of milks from the mini mart in Ep6, and most importantly she says she will wait for Nina. When Crowley goes to get in the bentley after Aziraphale leaves for heaven, he looks first at Nina. She gives him a little ‘goodbye’ wave, then he turns to look at Maggie, she’s asleep at the register, waiting. I don’t think Crowley is angry with Aziraphale, he would’ve driven off if he was. Instead he stands there watching, telling him he’ll be waiting.
1941 Pt. 3 minisode. Okay everybody wants this I know. What happened to the zombies? They definitely listed to ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’ that night right? We know Aziraphale does the apology dance, presumably for 1. nearly getting Crowley shot by nazis, 2. blown up by a bomb, 3. caught “fraternizing” by hell, and 4. nearly making Crowley discorporate him himself with the bullet catch. Maybe they put on some music, and maybe they dance a bit together before Aziraphale remembers himself and says “angels don’t dance” or something to end it. In the Jane Austen ball scene when Aziraphale asks Crowley to dance, barring the subtitles are correct, Crowley replies with “you don’t dance?” not “WE don’t dance”. I think that’s an important distinction, that could point back to this night.
Book of life & Book of Love. Another thing S2 set up as cannon for S3 was the Book of Life. I have no clue what this could mean but I immediately thought of the Doctor Who episode “The Big Bang”. At the end of the episode, The Doctor doesn’t exist because wibbly wobbly timey wimey… stuff. But Amy realizes something isn’t right, that someone is missing. She ends up bringing The Doctor back through her memories, simply because ‘something loved cannot be truly forgotten’. What does this have to do with GO? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just where my head is at, and I could see someone being erased from the book of life (one of our ineffable idiots for example) being undone in a similar vein. Love is the strongest force in existence, stronger than anything angels, demons, or God themself could understand.
Crowley will make a whale. Well, okay maybe that’s too literal of a statement? To be fair God never says to make a whale, Job says that's what he thinks she means. But look, he’s going to get to talk to God right? I think of the questions God asked Job. Did you set the constellations in the sky? Crowley did, S2E1 we watched him do it. Do you know the rules of the heavens? Crowley does, we even see him explain (gr)mavity to Jimbriel. Can you send lightning and get it to report back? Crowley can, we saw it after he got in his little argument with Aziraphale. Did you teach the ostrich to run? Maybe? Is this an allegory for telling Gabriel to go to Alpha Centauri? Or the peacocks to fly? Beez? Miss Sandwich? look its God okay not everything is going to be straightforward. Anyway, I think it’s clear our demon will get to ask his questions, he might not get answers, but he will get to ask the questions.
It begins as it will end, with a garden. Not the garden of Eden this time, but perhaps a garden at a cottage in The South Downs. Or.. maybe the Garden of Eden. If you've not read the short story "In The End" by Mr Neil Gaiman himself, please do, it's only a page long and it's lovely. I bought an extra copy of Fragile Things just so I could cut it out and glue it in the last page of my copy of Good Omens. Anyway, it's a brief but beautiful imagining of the last book of The Bible, in which God gives the Garden of Eden to humanity. I love the idea that human souls might return to Eden after their time on Earth. I also (and I know I'm in the vast minority) love the idea of Crowley and Aziraphale choosing to somehow embrace mortality to fully enjoy life on Earth with each other, and therefore themselves being able to return to the Garden of Eden with each other someday.
WELL! Did anyone actually read this? If you did, you’re insane just like me and I love you for it! Please let me know your ideas!

LONG-TERM EFFECTS OF SUFFERING
Blade X Reader | 1.8k
𝖌𝖊𝖓𝖗𝖊: gothic lit, dark fantasy, eventual smut.
𝖈𝖜: none, as of the moment.
𝖘𝖞𝖓𝖔𝖕𝖘𝖎𝖘:
“When will death come for me? My patience is wearing thin.”
A skilled swordsman, hunter, and consumer of blood, Blade’s name is feared with a body count of over fifty thousand deceased hunters in the battlefield. From hundreds of enemies, he stood amongst other Stellaron Hunters for his ability to ingest blood and guts of mere mortals, something not expected of his kind. Kafka knows this, in fact all his fellow hunters and swordsmen have long figured out his insatiable hunger for the weak and frail.
But in spite of his endless meals since he found the world, he has embarked on a personal quest. That is, to find the perfect mate worth consuming (and perhaps, killing) for the sake of lifting the curse that brought about his immortality.
Blade never played soft with his intentions, and he never portrayed himself as a sweet man with whom he went in for the kill. He was never gentle, not even in his pursuit of the little old you—a fragile princess protected by the security of your father’s kingdom.
You were but a princess confined to four walls for you held on a special ability which was able to slowly kill whoever got ahold of you. After accidentally poisoning your soon-to-be husband in a wedding, your father decided to lock you far away in his other castle, doomed to never experience the beauty of marriage or intimate affairs.
Blade craved death far more than you needed air to breathe, and upon Kafka’s discovery of your existence, she alerts him of a potential cure to his immortality—your soul.
The man himself keeps this in mind, and will stop at nothing but to hunt you down, granting he draws his final breath after one night with you.
𝕬𝖚𝖙𝖍𝖔𝖗’𝖘 𝕹𝖔𝖙𝖊:
Just a heads up, because I have yet to admit this, but I don’t, and actually never played Honkai Star Rail. So perhaps you can expect some OOC Blade and canon divergence, though I also did some research. However, seeing this man made me go through some kind of brainrot. It’s official. I have the HOTS FOR THIS MAN. So I cooked up this fic.
Minors and ageless blogs don’t interact. I whipped this up last minute because I have a lot of spare time with my hands.
Not proofread. No beta we die like men!
CHAPTER ONE — CHAPTER TWO.
Tumblr media
Chapter One || Haunted By Yours Truly
“Bladie…..ravaging your opponent at this point may seem a little….uncalled for. Perhaps you should take some time off.”
A tall, dark-haired man bent over to take a closer inspection of the body laid before him. Stretching out his arm forward to check on the corpse’s eyes, they turned out to be rolled all the way back, signifying that the body was lifeless indeed. Going by the name Blade, he looked up at his fellow Stellaron Hunter Kafka with those ferocious, feisty eyes of crimson hue.
“And what if I don’t?”
Kafka’s smile dropped, Blade hinting at the slightest sign of annoyance as she kept watch on his every move.
“Bladie….we can’t be stuck around dwelling on what’s already been ruined.” Kafka sighed. “You’re out for the princess, remember?”
“Suit yourself. I have yet another soul to devour, should death approach me upon consuming it. Out of my way.”
Thick air engulfed the dark hallways, Blade and Kafka standing before corpses that laid bare on the floor as a result of their attack on your beloved kingdom. After single-handedly killing almost every guard with their lethal weapons, they ensured no one shall be spared. That is, if it means finding the antidote to lifting Blade’s curse.
He was far too stubborn, just far too stubborn. Blade leaned closer onto the corpse’s neck, locating sensitive areas worth having his teeth to sink in. He searched far and wide for an erogenous zone with minimal difficulty, marking his territory by entering a halt once he found the right spot. His face leaned closer to the corpse’s neck in a rather intimate distance; the heat of his breath felt upon as he opened his mouth wide open.
And in that moment, Blade’s sharp canines sank and buried itself into the thin layer of skin. He bit hard enough in a way that sent piercing, prickling pain to the receiver, granting the corpse was still alive to feel the sensation. The approach was harsh, without falter. His teeth sank under and bit hard enough to draw blood. What wasn’t there, however, is its ability to kill upon consumption.
Blade dipped his tongue onto the wound, savoring the beads of blood that leaked out of the fresh cut. Bleh. The taste was nasty, leaving no room for Blade to keep suckling further. Instantly pulling away, he coughed at the sight of the mess he just caused.
“Too much iron. Not a good sign.” Blade scoffed. “Not the best way to bring about the limits of the flesh.”
“Bladie, we don’t wanna waste time. If all you’re searching for is the cure for your condition, I believe it is best if we start looking elsewhere for the princess.” Kafka announced.
“Tch. Fine. But convince me the search will be worth it.”
Kafka and Blade left the blood-stained halls as they embarked on a mission to find remnants of your presence. It was quite a long and tedious journey, traveling across different regions for the sake of finding a worthy cause for Blade’s incoming death.
It was but a miracle that Kafka has established some connections with the divine and spiritual—she recently made friends with a wandering witch amongst the people who told her of a possible cure to immortality. Upon remembering her comrade, she made it an essential task to tell Blade of the good news. Not even the members of the Astral Express knows about this plane of existence, but since Kafka believed helping Blade gave her a sense of fulfillment, she made it a goal to seek an antidote if it meant risking certain abilities. Thankfully, there was not much required of her upon meeting and consulting the witch for help.
“No one here,” Blade observes. “It seems as if this place is abandoned. Not even the Aeons know what happened in these ruins.”
“Let’s just keep searching, alright, Bladie?” Kafka winked.
“Halt!” yelled a guard who stormed out of nowhere.
Blade drew his sword, ready to charge his blade towards the guard only to suddenly stop upon an interjection.
“Wait, please!” the guard retorted. “I can explain!”
“Oh?” Kafka crossed her arms, smiling. “Very well, Bladie, let’s hear this man out, shall we?”
“If…..if you’re looking for the king and his daughter, they’ve moved to another castle!”
“Pfffft. Is that so?” Blade sneered. “Well then, show me the ropes. Where can I find this kingdom?”
“I-It’s….it’s located on the far north within the Xianzhou Loufu, I-I promise it’s not too far away! I’ve pers-“
“Enough talk. Let’s go, Kafka.”
“Wait, about the princess!” the guard exclaimed. “The princess is currently on lockdown, so it’ll be forbidden to visit her chamber, just a heads up!”
“Whatever. We’ll make sure to have a word with her.” Blade replied.
“But you don’t understand! If you try courting the princess, the king will kill you! I could go on about how the princess’ father is quite strict! He’ll come after you if you ever tried to harm his daughter!”
“Tch. Whatever. Let’s go.”
The guard’s wails waned as Blade and Kafka left the halls, footsteps echoing amidst the darkness. The sun set hours ago, the castle’s windows lighting up to mark the sight of night engulfing the sky like a wide blanket. Inside the castle were you and your father. You wore a cream-beige gown that faded to white at its base, much to your father’s choice of clothes. It’s not like you had any other choice, your father prohibited you from wearing anything skimpy and revealing, so as to not attract the eyes of unwanted men.
“Daddy, am I going to bed this early? I’m thinking it’s a bit too early.” you asked. “What if I’m not all that sleepy?”
“Your mother said so.” your father, the King of Xianzhou Luofu, replied. “While she’s out of town, you better meet her expectations of getting the most rest, for you shall need that energy when you reign Queen.”
“I’m not that sleepy,” you retorted. “I’m sure she’ll understand that. It’s not like I’ll loiter around the kingdom again.”
“You don’t get it, [Name].” your father frowned, looking at you with a dead serious expression on his face. “After you were scheduled in marriage with the man who has kissed you with his bare lips, his slow, agonizing death was uncalled for. We do not want to risk the lives of other men as well as your womanhood.”
“Is it….is it because of my special ability, dad? Why was I cursed with it anyways? Why am I cursed with poisoning whoever gets a taste of me?”
Your father was bombarded with numerous questions. He didn’t want to spill the secret there and then, but he had to. He bowed his head and started to speak hesitantly as you could only helplessly stare at him with that innocent curiosity.
“Fine, I’ll tell you everything.” your father frantically spoke. “Me and your mother…..were unable to conceive a child. It was obligatory for us to preserve the bloodline, so we had to contact a witch to actually carry out a remedy. She stated that provided we are granted a child, we must face the consequences—it is that you will be cursed with a fatal kiss that can only be healed through the right man’s touch. We were also reminded to never tell anyone of this curse, if we do not want to face bad luck.”
“And it turned out that the man I married during my wedding wasn’t the right one?” you asked.
“I’m afraid so. It is but a rare condition, I can’t imagine having to deal with such a burden. So hear this, you’re better off without anyone as of this moment. We are still on the lookout for offering you the right man to be your husband.” your father replied.
“Are we finished yet, miss [Name]?” a servant appeared from behind.
“Ah! Yes, yes…..!!!!”
“By the way, there’s a gift waiting for you outside the palace, my Lord. I assume it’s one of your favorite drinks.” the servant said, tapping the shoulder of your father. “Blueberry champagne.”
“Ah, hand it over, please. I’ll drink it before bed.” your father requested. “Who might be this guest?”
“I’m afraid there is no label from where the product came from,” the servant replied. “But a commoner called Kafka introduced herself before delivering it to the castle’s main entrance.”
“Very well then, might I invite Kafka to stay here some time. I would like to thank her for knowing my taste in liquor.”
“Yes, my Lord.”
The servant left, leaving you and your father to dine. The conversation was pretty much nothing out of the ordinary—it was just another day of being showered with wealth and splendor exclusively celebrated by the royal families. You immediately got up from the dining area after a heartfelt interaction with your father, rushing to your room and changing into sleepwear. Your father always liked buying you dainty chemises, for he believed they suited your doll-like figure best.
Sounds of plates and glasses were being arranged along with other miscellany as the clock struck ten o’ clock. A princess like you was recommended at least ten hours of sleep, as to get rid of your dark circles and to prep you up for your everyday, luxurious skincare routine. It was only a week after you and your father moved castles. He spent all his wealth trying to cast you away from unwanted men peeking at you, let alone court you. Your father was surely an overprotective man who didn’t want his daughter engaging in unlawful acts, provided every man you hooked up with ended up poisoned.
The servants have already rushed to their rooms after a long day of tending to the dishes. You didn’t wait until midnight to drift off to sleep, it was only ten thirty when your eyes sealed shut without a care in the world. Your father was the one that stayed up, his sleeping schedule remaining inconsistent. But it wasn’t as if it mattered. After all, he makes the rules of his own castle.
A man of muscular, yet lanky frame took notice of your father still at the dining table from the windows. This man was revealed to be the one who has purchased a bottle of your father’s favorite champagne, your father not knowing it was drugged with a powerful sleeping pill.
“Ah, more glasses of champagne, please.” your father requested.
“As you wish, my Lord.” complied another servant.
Fizzy bubbles of champagne filled the glass, offered to the King like the drunkard he was becoming. The servants didn’t care much, some of them chuckling at the King’s gullibility. The lights at the dining table were dimly lit, and it wasn’t long before the King fell asleep, drugged at the dining table.

Blooming Panic brainrot has given me an idea that won’t leave my head so I have to get it out
MC who is a single parent. After joining the server, you keep that part of your life private for the longest time.
You’re just so exhausted from people making assumptions about you and the invasive questions. You know having a child in your twenties while working such a time-consuming job isn’t the best. But that is no one else’s business; you love your child dearly.
Even if the other parent is a pos.
But when you start getting closer to your chosen love interest you can't put it off anymore. You're aware that not everyone wants to be with someone who already has a kid, you understand. Some people want to enjoy their youth and don't have a child in their plans now or ever. They don't want someone with "baggage."
So you ask for a voice call, readying yourself for the judgment. For the interest that your love interest was expressing to fizzle out as it had with every other date you've had since you left him.
But it doesn't come. You tell them that you have a child, that you understand if it's a dealbreaker but it would be better if it happens now instead of later. But they just smile, telling you that it's okay. That having your child isn't anything to be ashamed of and certainly not something that's going to drive them away. If anything, they admire you for doing so much for your child. Suddenly the number of hours that you work make sense. Your anxiety about changing jobs makes sense.
You have someone who you love, who relies on you. You can't take risks with them. You won't.
For Quest, in particular, he has to ask if the other parent is... him. When you tell him that yes, the same person that doxxed him was unfortunately the other parent he sucks in a breath between his teeth. He offers his condolences that someone who you try so hard to distance yourself from is so connected to the one who you love the most. You joke that at least now your child will have a better father figure in their life.
Quest tries not to show just how that makes his brain short-circuit and how warm his chest feels.
Nightowl has a moment of pause, but just a moment. He's 25, he's just finishing college, and he has some personality hangups but... he can work on those. He has a job pretty much lined up. He can step up if you'd let him. He wants to. Suddenly the more responsible side of himself kicks in. All he wants is to love you and he can absolutely love your child just as much. He comes across as more of a cool older brother or cousin at first but soon he really hit his stride.
Something about being a dad just brings out the best in him.
Everything clicks into place for Toasty. Your escapism and late hours make a whole lot of sense. They don't know how they didn't guess it in the first place but it honestly... makes him want you to get a better job even more? You wake up so early to go to work, then you go right home to be there for your child so you can be a parent to them and then your one break is the server and Bloomic... You deserve to have a job that gives you more time for your family. He wonders if he could convince you to move in with him?
Maybe you could actually be their secretary. They wouldn't mind having you closer... they feel their cheeks getting hotter just thinking about it.
Xyx takes it in stride. Honestly, he might have noticed it earlier than you would expect. Something about your schedule, about how you knew just the right things to say to help him when he's feeling down. Like you know. Like comforting someone vulnerable is something you've done plenty of times. He knows for sure he's not... the perfect role model. He can be reckless with habits that just barely toe the line of being self-destructive.
But he also has a stable, incredibly well-paying job. He would be happy to give some off-record advice on how to cut off parental rights to make sure that he-who-shall-not-be-named won't bother you or your child again. He jokes that he got a great deal, he got the love of his life AND a child in one go.
He's a pretty lucky guy, ain't he?

You mentioned not liking Pillars of Eternity. What was wrong with it?
The short version is "It is an Obsidian Game."
The long version is Pillars of Eternity was billed as a revival of old-school D&D style CPRGs, the kind of which Obsidian's progenitor, Black Isle, used to make.
The problem is that Black Isle didn't make those old-school D&D style CRPGs. Not the ones people remember at any rate. They made Planescape Torment and Icewind Dale, but they didn't make Baldur's Gate. BioWare did.
Baldur's Gate is the one people remember actually playing, after all. And Baldur's Gate's strength is in character writing. BioWare doesn't do deep themes most of the time, they do light hearted character-focused drama.
Obsidian has a TERRIBLE track record for light hearted character focused drama. What they ARE good at is worldbuilding and getting really philosophical. But play one Obsidian game you've played them all. Which Obsidian Game about a failing democracy and a violent, all consuming empire coated in nihilism did you like most? The one in Space, or the one with the Roman Larpers?
Pillars of Eternity couldn't NOT be some grand epic right from the start. Where as in Baldur's Gate you slowly develop your Bhaalspawn abilities before getting the big revelation dropped onto you, in Pillars of Eternity you get this big cutscene at the start of an ancient temple going "YOU! YOU SHALL HAVE THE POWER OF MAIN CHARACTER" and zapping you in the face.
It's that old fashioned worldbuilder's disease coupled with not being able to NOT have the stakes at 11 at all times. Throwing gods and existential issues onto you from minute one. It's like trying to read The Silmarillion before reading Lord of the Rings, which is a problem a lot of fantasy writers have honestly.
Remember the game this is all acting as an homage to opened with "Your dad is dead, you and your BFF go find your aunt and uncle and then investigate a mine."
Pillars of Eternity (and BG3 if we're being honest) really smacks of a Dungeon Master who has crafted the campaign to end all campaigns, pouring their magnum opus into a format that is just begging for the players to smear with dick jokes and seduction checks.
It's not entirely Obsidian's fault, Fantasy works and fandom have been experiencing World Building Brainrot for over a decade. But if you're going to try and pay homage to Baldur's Gate, the combat isn't what you should be looking to recreate. And I say this as someone who thinks RTWP is infinitely superior to the Troika/Larian style of turn based combat. This is a problem ALL homages to old school CRPGs have.
The whole "save the world/universe" plot line is just done. People really need to stop using those kind of plots and come up with stories with far lower stakes.
Granted that KOTOR II had a lot of these same problems, but that had the inherent benefit of "Most people who are playing this already know how to play KOTOR and are coming in pre-invested." This has been, unfortunately, what Black Isle/Obsidian was skating by on their entire careers.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAH (translation: I consumed caffeine and am overflowing with admiration for various peoples, to whom I shall express with no regard for grammar or punctuation)
@quirkle2 HELLO your art is gorjus I love happening upon it and it’s heartwarming with the wholesome but the epic and fierce ones are super dramatic and intense and also your Wars and Legend posts taught me what a qpr is so thanks I appreciate that. I especially enjoy your choice of colour for line work and the very liberal depiction of hair with how it often hugs the face softly and wildly in your art
@kesoo You have such a uniquely flavoured style it is very charismatic and pops out like a cartoon but the skill behind it is clear as day and I cannot succinctly describe how veraciously and immediately my brain attached to that, it’s wow. I very certainly admire your pursuit in animation and I hope the education is doing well for you
@telemna-hyelle @bokettochild @skyward-floored heeeyyyy You are all so kind and genuine, it is a joy to passively read your interactions with whatever/whomever when I’m scrolling through as they generally emanate good vibes, oft good humour and good insight. On top of that, all three of you are amazing writers between “what You Look At, You Change”, the Feathered AU, “A Bride For Hyrule’s Prince”, “Brethren In A Cradle” and the many other shorts and stories and whumps I have and have yet to read (I had started sketches trying to illustrate Leg revealing his wings in FTMH but unfortunately my sketchbook was stolen/lost along with my lunch bag and a bunch of art supplies a while ago)
@minty-mumbles bro your fic summaries are so intriguing, I’m just sifting through them on ao3 and a whole lot of them have a note of profoundness in them among the evident whump creating a sort of question of how the characters in question react to whatever the hook is for that particular fic scenario. I especially like the ones where Wild reflects his/their view of themself and the world they find themselves in in how they treat their hair and clothing according to social customs, as well as the fics about Hyrule and his fairy heritage
I think I’ve been writing this for maybe an hour, let’s keep going
@sraksha I’ve stated before in tags of a post how your art visually resembles a cats toe-beans in it’s soft firmness and also the fact your style kinda makes the Lu boys’ faces look like cats but your expressions!!! The outfit designs!!! The fluidity in body movement!!! !!!!!!! Easily at a level I myself still strive to achieve (this is not self deprecation this is me saying I look up to you and your art in my journey for growth)
@loz-obsessed-person-i-guess @indigoartistqueen Ello ello I enjoy you both greatly and I know Indigo is away for the time being but as I have an inclination for direct conversation over virtually posting messages on a bulletin board you two have given me the most direct meaningful interaction on this site yet and I truly appreciate that
Also the george washington frog, that too
@ectology Your art???? Holy crap????? I chomp like cookie with the fluid sketchy bits and the wide diversity in styles and I just got to the 2012 homestuck part of your art tag while writing this but wow— the difference 7+ years of practice can make
@growingupgerudo @linkeduniverse @linked-maze @bonus-links @minas-linkverse @heroesspirit I cannot in short words describe the bliss of a Zelda brainrot I have been in for the last however many months and rather than writing an individual thing for each of yous lemme just shout it all here: I am to no end in awe of the dedication, time and talent (note: skill and effort but alliteration is fun) that goes into these comics in the unique takes on every design; every minutely different detail that solidifies each comic and artist and writer apart, enriching what has essentially been a deep dive into my early childhood while I rediscover and rekindle a deep seated love for LoZ. I could say many many more things in this but in short You fellow creatives have my deepest respect and hhhdbbbfbbdbbbdbbfbbfbbhh
There may or may not be more of this tomorrow idk, the self awareness is coming back with a growing hesitance for posting this

AAAA hello dear friend!! <3 thank u so much for the asks! 3&17 i answered here, but i shall answer the rest of these! <3
ao3 wrapped
6. Favorite title you used
I gotta give this one to an angel's share which was supposed to be a 5+1 that got. Out of Hand, let's say. The context is that I went to a distillery in Ireland at around the time I was being consumed by Trigun brainrot, and during the tour, the tour guide talked about how, when whiskey is aging in its barrels, it loses about 10% of its volume to evaporation, but back in the olden days, they didn't know that's what happened, so they chalked up the missing whiskey to "the angel's share"--where angels came down and blessed the barrels in the morning before they were opened, and took a drink with them. I found this anecdote to be so cute and inspiring, and I pictured Vash stealing things from Wolfwood and well. The rest is history. LOL
18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?
Interestingly, I would say this is Wolfwood. Not because I actually felt like he gave me trouble during the writing process, but because Trigun fandom started to really make me question whether I was doing a good job with him by the end... Part of the reason an angel's share remains unfinished is because I feel vaguely... I don't know, embarrassed? It's difficult to keep going once the seed that I've been fundamentally mistaken about a character is planted, because I can't stop second guessing that I'm somehow doing something wrong. This, as well as some other factors, made Wolfwood difficult to go back to, despite that I love him and have confidence in my literary analysis of both him and Vash.
27. What do you listen to while writing?
So USUALLY nothing, but sometimes, I'll just listen to a single song on repeat that for some reason really gets me in the groove. For like no reason. Which is why my top songs on spotify are so fucked up LOL
29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?
I have a lot of favorites, but I love the drawing scene from chapter 5 of bodice ripper. It's both a massive narrative pay-off moment, and a showcase of good writing at the same time, and marrying those two aspects of narrative work has always been something I've struggled with! Here is my favorite excerpt from that scene:
With that, he turns to go. Jing Yuan is reminded, suddenly, of that day on the Alchemy Commission’s beach, when he’d run into Mr. Yang again after ignoring him for days. What if he had ended this all there? If he had allowed Mr. Yang to walk away back then, would it have been better? Certainly, it would have spared them both the tension of now. But— Is it so much better to have never suffered through loss, Mr. Yang had said at dinner, than it is to have risked and gained something that mattered? It occurs to Jing Yuan, throughout all this, he has risked nothing. Actually, he has risked nothing his entire life. And he has risked nothing knowing that risking nothing was the correct thing to do, because he has watched every person he has ever known risk something at the expense of everything, just because the potential return was high. It is he who has lived so long because he has always taken the cautious path, the meticulous path, knowing risk is only worth it when victory is assured first. He has always been a coward. It doesn’t bother him.

Internet Angels
Tumblr media
Hey guys! Morin here! Today I've decided to do a post on some of my Denpa-esque thoughts ive mentioned, this post is going to be dedicated to Internet Angels, so let's get started☆
"What's an Internet Angel?"
Internet Angels are being who are what I'd describe as regulars on the Internet. They (most of the times) try disguising themselves as normal people, but not all the times they succeded, and as I mentioned, sometimes they dont even try at all.
Anyone can become an Internet Angel, but it takes effort, resistance and resiliance to ascend to that plane, and yes, you ascend.
Note: You can ascend to it at any age, but i don't recommend doing that at young ages. Because the brain is still in development stage, too much exposure of radio waves and Internet content can either cause brainrot or premature ascension, which is no good!! If you want a kid to ascend, please wait until they're around ages 13 and up, so if brainrot/premature ascension happends, at the very least its not so fatal.
"How does it work?"
It's simple! It all works in a video game like way. Everybody has an NetXP bar, that bar serves to track how much media you consume, and when you consume media, that fills the bar with Xperience Points (XP) and that's what used to track it.
The more media you consume, the more XP you gain, and at one point, if you consume enough media, you will ascend (level up) and become a 2G type Angel. Oh yeah, I didn't even mention the Giga Types..
"Giga Types?"
There are many types of Internet Angels, some more stronger than others. As scientists, programmers and what not find out and "create" newer mobile networks, more Giga Types are of Internet Angels are discovered, and as of now, we have 4 types.
2G - The weakests, when you ascend for the first time, you become this. 2G angels can blend in well among non-angels and they're like normal humans, just with a little above the average screentime. Oh, and due to that, they tend to be more hostile towards the other types.
3G - The most common ones, at this stage, the Angel will be a little more net minded, but still able to mask it, the most prominent feature about them is their interests, which are all sorts of unique and non-mainstream media, which they can ramble on about for hours.
4G - In this stage, the Angel has a mindset that a normie/2G type may call "chronically online", this Angel dosen't leave the house often and only rarely ever does, they are really net minded, with their brain already re-wired to think in the Internet way. But because of the fact they still leave the house and talk to other humans with that Netizen mindset, they come off as weird and offputting.
5G - The highest we know of. These Angels do not leave the house, and they can be smarter than a 4G type. They are your typical hikkikomoris/shut-ins and they have big knowledge of the Internet, it's history, the textese and laws. Some of them have seen things that only Angels of this type shall understand, and I've also never seen a 5G Angel younger than 18. Legend has it these angels only come out to do pilgrimage routes to the nearest internet poles... They stand there, just absorving the radio waves in, maybe to ascend to what could one day be dubbed as 6G Angels... But we're not there yet, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.
"Where do they live? What do they eat? What are some of their habits?"
1. Anywhere in the world, in any state and city, but they tend to live in big developed cities. I've never seen an Internet Angel living in rural area, countrysides or farms.
2. Unhealthy food, high energy level drinks (coffee, energy drinks, etc) and anything instant (mostly instant ramen, for whatever reason). That dosen't really mean some of them wont try diets or don't eat healthy food.
3. Long screen time, usage of textese and other internet languages, long time on social medias knowledge of Internet history, reference to medias they enjoy and more I'm probably forgetting.
"What powers does an Internet Angel posses?"
With the help of some supplements, they can enter in contact and channel with higher beings, deities and gods and etc, the higher the level, the higher the deity they can have contact with, I've heard of people even channeling God!
Guide lower types, newbies and humans through the Internet.
Guarding and protecting potentially dangerous media to beings with lower resistance.
Create Digital Cultures.
Withstand stronger radio waves
Influence the modern day world and politics as it is, although i think this needs more research on...
Questions with simpler answers
"What type are you?" Seeecret☆! ;;;;;;;;)
"Are celebrities Internet Angels?" Depends on who we're talking, but they're mostly 2G Angels, the celebrities with highest Giga Type I've seen are Jungkook and Jimin from BTS, I'd say they're probably 3G/4G Angels who mask it reaaaaally well.
"What are Digital Cultures?" Topic for another post! This one is long enough~
"Is this a cult thing?" No!!! These are personal beliefes!!! Not a cult thing!!! >:<
"Are you insane?" I dunno,,
Anyways, if you've read this far, thanks for giving this post attention and reading it! It took a little longer than what i thought to write it and i hope you enjoyed it!! If you have any questions, leave them below. For now, Morin signing off—☆!!

i need to hear your own drk lore bc i need to slam my custom drk lore in return. i want to hear your bnuuy’s lore. sorry for the aggression xiv brainrot is string
Lmao no need to apologize! I get it, I'm much the same xD
If tis lore you desire, then tis lore you shall get:
SO. Walk with me to the Thirteenth for a moment, during the era of the Contramemoria before the Flood of Darkness. There's a bun there whose name is Einarr Odysseus. He's a memoriate, and he's the shard of Azem who resides in the 13th. Viera (or whatever Viera may have been called in the 13th) having the long lifespans they do, Einarr was alive and fighting from as early as when the first eidolons began appearing all the way until the Flood of Darkness consumes the world. He's not saved from the Flood, his body is warped by Darkness and he turns into a voidsent.
Flash forward to the Fifth Astral Era of the Source when the War of the Magi is raging. Black mages summon voidsent to the Source in order to do their bidding and fighting in the war. The voidsent that was once Einarr is summoned during this time. Bound by the magicks of the mage who summoned him, he answers the call, he fights, he falls. Being in the Source, his soul is drawn into the Lifestream. Within the madness of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, as the shard from whichever world was rejoined merges with the soul of Azem in the Source, Einarr's soul, the shard from the 13th, is drawn in and merges with it as well.
Having been completely corrupted by Darkness, however, leaves a permanent change upon that shard that seeps into the rest of Azem's soul in the Source. When Phoenyx is born, his aetheric balance is naturally tipped towards Darkness. In fact, trying to tip it away from its Dark-aspected nature leaves him unbalanced and unstable.
Now flash forward with me once again to Heavensward. When Phoenyx finds Fray's body and soul crystal and Fray tells him there's a darkness growing in him, he's unknowingly speaking of this very thing. Sure, this is already a part of dark knights, using their own internal "darkness," meaning their negative emotions (or strong positive ones when you get around to post-level 50 and its a strong sense of love and protectiveness that fuels it) to create dark energy woven of their own aether. But for Phoenyx it's rather more literal. His aether is Dark-aspected. So rather than creating this energy, it's closer to the kind of aethetic manipulation that black mages use with elemental forces (which, in part too is why he could harness dark knight so easily, because he already has a background in "dark magic"). He uses his emotions to fuel his ability to manipulate primordial Darkness. The kind of Darkness controlled by the Ascians, the kind of Darkness that Zodiark himself is woven of.
So while Phoenyx is the Warrior of Light, Hydaelyn's chosen, protected by Light, as a dark knight, he actively uses Darkness in weaving the spells associated with the art. He doesn't even realize he's doing this. By the time he understands his Echo ability to sense his own aetheric balance, he assumes its tip towards Darkness is because he's a dark knight, a conclusion Y'shtola comes to as well. But he doesn't realize that its actually the selfsame force that the enemy uses against them. That in being Hydaelyn's "Bringer of Light" while having a soul seeped in Darkness, he is a living manifestation of the balance of the star.
This is also why he's so strong against sin eaters and Lightwardens in the First, why he's able to stay somewhat stable with all that Light inside him until the fourth Warden. But it's also the reason he's so fucking terrified of turning into a Lightwarden. Because even if you put aside the implications of what that dooms the world and his loved ones to, there's just this deep seated memory of Einarr's that's etched into his soul. The memory of being corrupted by Darkness and turning into a voidsent. The powerlessness and agony that came with it. He's scared because he remembers what it feels like and never wants to go through that again. But Phoenyx doesn't consciously realize this, it's a trauma burned into his soul.
This,,,,,,,,,,,,, ended up being way longer than I intended but please share yours also!!!! I wanna hear your lore!

~ getting to know your BL mutuals ~
Rules: answer the questions and @ some people. Include the tag ‘g2ky BL mutuals 2022’ on your post so we can find everyone’s answer.
Thank you for the tag @morkofday ! As always, i enjoy reading your thoughts. Not al all surprised about how VV is basically your personality at this point.
Disclaimer: I am going to talk about series that I watched this year, and not just those that were released this year. I really didn’t watch all that much this year.
What have been the BLs that took you by surprise this year?
Bad Buddy: Really went into this with no expectations, and honestly I still don’t understand what made me watch this halfway through while it was airing, but best decision I made. (Well I kinda do regret not watching it from the start) It just completely consumed me. I love Patpran so much. They have taken over my brain and heart. I love how this series has such a good mix of humour, angst and is also more real/relatable with the issues they address.
Not Me and The Eclipse: Lumping this together here because I really did not expect any BLs that would address such heavy themes. I just wish they were handled a bit better.
Dew The Movie: I did not know anything about the movie going in, so watching what happened really threw me off. But it was a nice/wild ride.
Kieta Hatsukoi: Aoki and Hashimoto really stole my heart. I love how chaotic and hopeless they are. They were so dramatic but also quite relatable! 😂
What have been the BLs that you felt a bit disappointed with this year?
KinnPorsche: Maybe it’s because I had too much hope going in, or because it was so hyped up. Or maybe because I had a lot of personal stuff going on when it was airing, but I just couldn’t get involved with the series. The finale ended up confusing me instead of giving me conclusions, and I’m not really a fan of that. Thanks to friends on discord that helped me understand it a bit better. Though this series introduced me to Jeff Satur and I’ll forever be grateful for that!
The Eclipse: This series started out with so much potential! The pace was brilliant, the cast was incredible and they really were trying to address the hard topics in a metaphorical manner. But towards the end, it really started to show that they didn’t have enough time with the planning and post-production. It felt like such a rushed ending and was honestly disappointing. It could have been the top of the year if handled better.
What has been your favorite BL (watched) this year?
Bad Buddy: This is my ultimate BL at the moment. Not even for the year, but generally speaking. I Fell in love with PatPran. Pran is so damn relatable, like I’ve never identified with a character as much as I do with him. I can go rambling for days about BB, so I shall stop her and not bore people with my BB brainrot.
Vice Versa: As much as I am mad that we didn’t get a proper development/conclusion for TessTun, I still enjoyed this series. It was all the more enjoyable with all the screaming with Vish. But also as a very visual person who loves colours, this show stole my heart. I loved the colours and the visuals in this series. The locations were all so new and beautiful! As a sucker for a soulmate AU, I loved their twist on that trope! And of course Jimmy and Sea stole my heart.
The Eclipse: Yes, i know I said I was disappointed with it, but I also really enjoyed it. The ending did feel very rushed. But other than that, it was a really good series. The cast did a brilliant job! Like I knew they can all act, but honestly I was so impressed with their skills!! Khaotung and First had the most beautiful breakdowns, Khaotung also sold the bad boy attitude in the first 5 minutes when I was so used to seeing him as the sweet little brother character, and it was so refreshing to see a new side to Neo! So yes, I’d watch it all over again just for them! Also they did deliver a few surprises, so that was interesting.
Not Me: Again, I feel like the ending could have been more polished. It really showed that they were rushing with the filming and airing. GMMTV needs to stop rushing them and airing shows while they are still filming. It really destroys the quality. But it did well to address the heavy topics! Of course I love seeing OffGun in anything, but they truly had an amazing cast. I couldn’t stop looking at Mond, Sing, First and Gawin. Also I Fell in love with Film. This series also felt so real because it showed how life is very unjust, and it showed the problems of the common people. So it was very refreshing to watch.
Semantic Error: I loved how chaotic and awkward this was. Sang Woo is my precious child and I will protect him. It’s a simple plot, but they did well with it. Loved the balance of humour and drama. Also loved the editing in this show.
Badhaai Do (Technically not a BL, but it counts):
3 Will Be Free (Again not technically a BL, but it counts):
Favorite BL couples (not just of 2022)?
Patpran (Bad Buddy), Wangxian (CQL), PeteKao (Dark Blue Kiss), Gao Shi-de and Zhou Shu-yi (We Best Love), Wenzhou (Word Of Honour) [Is it obvious that I have a type? ]
What’s your non-BL favorite (watched) this year?

Ohhhh I've been thinking a lot about death note since I watched mha s6 and got very badly brainrotted, bc death note had my og forever otp that was still unchallenged to this day all this years later until bkdk sauntered in and punched me in the face sob
(I shall not say who the otp was bc it's not even the good one, OR the fun fanon one, it's just like. irredeemably embarrassing)
(but idc, cringe is dead! It's melloxnear.)
I originally watched the series in middle school but I completely forgot the plot up until now… I didn’t expect to get a hyperfixation on it (🥲) I’ve started reading the light novels and I probably will start the manga soon (the brainrot is all consuming)
Mello and Near are both great! I like them a lot! (Don’t be embarrassed I have a lot of pairings like that lol)

13 and 19 for the ask game!
From this post!
hi!! :D
13 - Describe your writing style.
-Sweats- uhhhhhhhh great question lmao
Usually third person past tense, ers on the side of too omnipotent without being third person omnipotent causing perspective issues, heavy on character action where I have to focus on adding prose and thought...
Overall though, after editing, when I get it right, I think it's pretty good! Very wordy though, but I love being wordy. Within reason. I have to tone this down sometimes.
This description is very basic because I have a lot of trouble distinguishing "writing styles" that aren't drastically different-- if I'm not trying to compare Shakespeare to Rick Riordan to Isobelle Carmody, I don't think I can really tell all that well ^-^'
~*~
19 - Do you plan out your projects? If yes, to what level? How well do you stick to your plans?
I do plan... meticulously... to a fault even...
As in, I started writing Shifting Phases more than four years after starting to plan it lol
First, I start with a very broad, general idea.
Fight scene between A and B, A wins, both get hurt. Triumphant feeling*.
And then I add more detail... and add more detail until I have a scene summary of some description.
A and B get into a fistfight, some dialogue, the stakes, they beat the shit out of each other x and y ways, and when they're on their last legs, A lands an amazing, winning punch when B opens themself up with a poorly planned attack. With B knocked out, A is triumphant and extremely relieved, but they feel guilt for B because they also couldn't afford to lose. A, if in B's position wouldn't've wanted to lose either, so they will help B back up and take them back to <base>.
And from there, I write the actual Scene, which is made fairly easy by the previous work.
I guess Shifting Phases is taking so long because it's my first big project, and thus the first time I have planned anything like this. But yeah, I use this method to plan out short snippets, like with the WiJ 2022 snippets, or BTHB, or any other prompts I recieve.
Ah, speak of which, I have forgotten to link one in the SP masterpost... J shall rectify this issue.
Anyway, I think the biggest, most time consuming issue that ai face with this method is "oh fuck, what happens now, how do i tie these separate things together??"
And then I spend the next year brainrotting into my friends' DMs, servers, and into a doc lol
The most important part of the planning process is just talking about it, even with yourself, so that you can turn things around in your head and reason things out and keep track of it all so the brain fog can't fuck with you as easily.
~*~
And there you have it folks ^-^

i can understand little one lol ah yes the olden days, i was so naive and foolish, suppressing my love for my beloved *shakes head sagely*
cries slfjslfklskdld imagine basking in that moment, closing your eyes as you listen to the velvety rich voice caressing your auditory senses. breathing slowly and savoring the smell of sun-kissed laundry of his coat and the slightest whiff of cologne. if this is what it leads to for lacking sleep then i will gladly forsake my sleep at night :)))
my pulls went.... great........ hahaha.... ha...... i spent S$200
an in-game selfie? i'm not good at taking any kind of selfies but I'll try the next time i log in lol meanwhile, look at zhongli judging me
omg the infamous tier list??? i think that would make a fun tag game actually! if you ever decide to do it remember to tag me lol
lol yes i decided to go with the selfship name cause i was out of ideas on what name to use sldksldk
ohhh very interesting indeed!! also, me and lin is the same height then!! mwahaha that's good, it means i can give him headpats :3
that tiktok sljdlskd true so true i do NOT want to know what that thing is nuh uh no thank you!!!
i'm taking the sumeru exploration really slowly lol i just got to sumeru city after meeting tighnari and collei!! i like the landscapes so far, altho i'm still not used to maneuvering around it (i am also very bad at controlling the characters normally soooo)
at least, it didn't come to the point where you'd censor his name because that would've been peak denial. (suddenly, it seems fun to type zh*ngli like it's some kind of cursed name /j)
why is that thought keeping you further awake instead of lulling you to the beloved dreamland (/j). BUT THE WAY YOU ADDED TO THAT BRAINROT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, AAAAA <3 i may not be a zhongli kisser, but i kiss rin jie's writing because it is >>>>
take a selfie of zhongli with his raging friend, azhdaha in the back for us, rin <3 (/j) no wonder your brother asked if you're gonna have money for food. zhongli, you took your sweet time 😭 BUT HE IS HOME !! and the way he went 🤨 on the character screen HELFPSKDK o, bestow your wisdom, my great lord. whom shall i discard. (/j)
hehe, i think so too~ it's like an interesting look into how each writer perceives the characters !! oh, you know you're going to be on the tagging list, rin jie ;D you don't even need to tell me because you're the first person that comes to mind automatically for me fjwkkskwe (/g)
if you ever make a genshin oc, i'm going to throw lin at them so quick because he needs more acquaintances and i already know your oc will be cool because they obviously inherit their creator's brain !! >:)
IIRC, EVEN HOYOVERSE SAYS "but why are you even unsealing them in the first place?" AND I AM JUST 😭 hoyoverse, you're srsly targeting my curiosity like that??? they look like they're about to consume my heizou alive, so no ty <//3
ahhh, understandable! me too, tbh. it's probably because i'm still getting used to the unfamiliar terrain with the mountains and cliffs and all, but sumeru is vv pretty! have you seen the library in the city tho??? it fr reminds me of the beauty and the beast but with a different color palette, hehe <3
