heck ok that minhyun college au had me feelin some type of way and he's not even my bias so if you wanted could you do one for jr? your writing is absolutely wonderful and i really appreciate all you do

^probably an actual conversation between jonghyun and minki in med school LOL

but no he really does his best in all of his work, like he knows that there are limits to how much he can do for people and the fact breaks him because he just wants to make sure everyone is taken care of and is safe

but his selflessness got him into some trouble in med school because people would constantly ask to cheat off him and some even took the credit for work /he/ did

yet jonghyun never as much as complained, even when dongho threatened to fight them for him because jonghyun would just shrug it off and be like “if it helps them, then that is what matters” and everyone is always like yes but at what cost to you and jonghyun just smiles

,,,,,that damn adorable angelic smile,,,,,,,and everyone is like god you really arent a person. you’re some kind of righteous demi-god with a heart too good for your own being LOL

looks totally mature and serious in his uniform and when he does intakes for the cardiology department

but ,,,,,, the other residents know the tRUTH

about how his ID card is actually yellow and has little flowers on it, how instead of taking the precious time to sleep he’ll stay up and read webtoons on his phone, has a collection of squirtle’s lined up on his bed

he gets really embarrassed when the superiors compliment his work and he’ll kind of try to hide his smile but also,,,,

as usual if someone is getting in trouble he’ll try to shift the blame onto himself and again everyone is like jonghyun please stop putting yourself on the line for others

but he can’t,,,,it’s in his nature

one time he almost got kicked out of the program because he was going to take the blame for a negligent resident but thankfully minhyun and dongho intervened in time BUT STILL EVEN AFTER ALMOST GIVING THE REST OF NUEST A HEARTATTACK JONGHYUN CONTINUES TO DO THESE THINGS

i guess you just can’t hold a good person down lgfjds

anyway back to him being cute,,,, he always compliments minki because he thinks he looks the best in his doctors coat and minhyun is (kinda) jealous while dongho is straight out like jonghyun jonghyun look at me flex - jonghyun hey

got caught singing to himself after putting away blood samples and everyone always asks him to show off his voice and he’s like ,,, a,,,ah i cant

(but he totally did at the christmas party some residents threw and it was. amazing. rumor is someone cried because jonghyuns voice was so nice)

everyone says he flirts with patients when he’s helping them get ready for procedures but jonghyun is just like???? im being nice

and everyone is like being nice doesnt involve being so damn handsome and using a soft tone of voice and flasing that smile-

jonghyun: are you saying my face is flirting for me

dongho: thats exactly it. It’s his face you guys. look at it

did i mention he totally saw a kid holding a pokemon toy in the waiting room and did an impersonation of squirtle to get the kid to laugh. well im mentioning it now.

so it’s technically your first time e v e r at the cardiologist and you have no idea what to expect and you’re kinda nervous,,,

the lady at the front desk is like honey dont worry its all painless and fine but you’re like,,,,,,,,,,,,,not completely convinced

and when the nurse calls you in you’re expecting that she’ll be the one with you for most of the visit but she sits you down in a room and says one of the residents will do some tests today

and you’re like ok,,,,looking around the painfully bright room and wondering about all the different tools and the big diagrams of the human heart hung up on the wall

and when the door opens you turn and,,,,,damn near fall off the examination table

because the boy in front of you,,,,,,he’s got to be??? an actor???? a singer????? is this a prank camera????

he smiles,,,,dark hair combed neatly against his forehead and he points to the heart monitor in his hands nad he’s like “im jonghyun, ill be doing some tests on you for the doctor.”

in your head you’re still like,,,,,,is this dude actually a resident,,,,,isnt he too good looking

you’re so distracted that you dont even notice him hook you up to the heart monitor, carefully wrapping it around your arm and smiling at you as he pulls back to turn on the machine

and for a moment he watches the bright numbers and he writes something down, coming closer to you you see the numbers on the machine go up

and when you glance over,,,,,jonghyun is looking confused too

he puts his hand back on the part of your arm and tightens the band a bit

the closeness is a bit much for you,,,,seeing his face up close you realize he’s even more handsome than before

and you can literally hear your heartbeat in your ears

jonghyun moves back and you let out a sigh,,,,the number begin to drop down to normal

and jonghyun is like “that’s,,,,,odd,,,,let me see something-”

he takes a step closer to you again,,,looking at your eyes and taking out his stethoscope and you’re once again hearing your heartbeat in your ears

and after a minute or two jonghyun,,,,,looks down at his notepad and is like

“it seems that everytime i get near you,,,,,your heart rate goes up. are you nervous?”

you in your head: ofc im nervous have you SEEN your FACE

you speaking: ,,,,oh just im nervous of seeing the doctor hahaha,,,

jonghyun nods and gives you a smile,,,,he leans forward to put his hand on your wrist reassuringly

too bad you’re still hooked up to the machine and the numbers go back up past 110 and jonghyun is like oh ,,,,wow

and you’re ike gbifkdfljsfg e@ your body plEASE STOP contrOL yOURSELf

and jonghyun writes something down before taking the band off you and saying that the doctor will come in soon

and you cant even look at him because,,,,wow,,,,you really just got your heart rate raised by this cute resident you dont even know how corny gfldjcbvg u really need to stop falling for people you just meet

but as jonghyun closes the door he cant help but smile to himself because,,,,thats the first time someones heart rate has changed so drastically in front of him

plus the look of slight embarrassment on your face was so cute,,,,,,

the rest of the appointment goes by fine. the doctor is like nothing seems to be wrong and you’re healthy although ive never seen such spikes in heart beat,,,,maybe its the nerves?

and you’re going back out of the room to the front desk when you bump into someone and looking up you see him again,,,,,jonghyun

the heat rushes all up into your face and you’re like fkgdse sorry,,,,,for getting all nervous back there

and he laughs because you’re the patient you shouldn’t ever apologize and you’re like gOsh i probably looked like such a fool

but jonghyun shakes his head and he’s like “a lot of people get nervous at the doctors,,,,,but not a lot of people still manage to look cute”

and you’re like excuse me and he’s like,,,,,oh,,,,i said that outloud?

and you’re like y,,,yes??// and jonghyun is just like coyly smiling and he’s like well no use in hiding it - it was very cute, its nice to know i can have such an impact on someone

and you’re like listen,,,,please,,,, you’re just so attractive up close i thought u werent a real resident for a bit

that makes jonghyun laugh and you cant help but giggle too

you both walk out to the front desk and you tell jonghyun that it was nice to meet him,,,,,and jonghyun is like ah! before you go - here

he hands you a pamphlet on heart health and you’re like,,,,,thank you?

but when you leave you open it up and out falls a note torn from a pad and it says

‘if you ever are free - stop by the hospital again? only if you want of course~ resident kim ‘makes your heart rate go past 110′ jonghyun’

its,,,,,the corniest thing but you cant help but feel a giddiness in your stomach

jonghyun back in the doctors office is telling himself that he really shouldnt have wote that dumb ‘makse your heart rate go past 110′ part but its DONE now,,,,so he’ll ave to just wait and see

,,,,,,,of course you come back how can you not lmao you show up at the office and the front desk women seems to know whats going on she just winks and tells you to wait while she gets jonghyun

its a short first “date” because it happens outside the hospital cafe where you’re both drinking coffee and talking about your interests and hobbies and jonghyun has to run back after fifteen minutes but,,,,

it’s enough for you two,,,,,

slowly you visit the hospital more and more until finally you and jonghyun share a first kiss near the doctors entrance to the parking lot and it’s,,,,not thE most romantic but jonghyun somehow makes it just that murmuring that after kissing you he wonders if your hearts went over 150 and you’re like jonghyun,,,,wouldnt i die

and he’s like im dying right now,,,,from your cuteness and you’re like pLEASE

dating resident!jonghyun: like most residents he doesnt have any time for real dates but jonghyun will put all of his power into making every visit of yours count, im not kidding he literally does the most of your time together whether its gifting you flowers he totally paid dongho 20 bucks to run out and buy on his lunch because he wanted to have something nice to give you but wouldnt be let off by the doctor to using his lab coat to shield you two from the other residents in the dorm when you get a couple of minutes longer and jonghyun wants to kiss you deeply and passionately but also theres like 5 other people in the room LOL, he tells you that if you ever miss him you can look up videos of squirtle - people say they look a like and you’re like if you’re squirtle am i pikachu??? and he’s like omg,,,,,yes,,,,,,that is our couple dynamic from now on, you learn very quickly that the charming, doctor to be that made your heart race is actually a Big Soft Dork, but you love it and you keep sneaking him in new comic books and snacks and every other resident is like jonghyun ask your significant other to get us stuff too and jonghyun can never say no so you end up having like a literal list of things to bring with you every damn time, you learn that jonghyun is selfless in the way he treats you like you are the only one that matters in the relationship, and tbh you dont like it because you want to show him that his needs are just as important as yours so even when jonghyun holds you in his arms and you feel that he’s trying to be polite you’re like “if you want you can put your hand-” jonghyun blushing like i,,,i shouldn- you: jonghyun we’re dating just do it if you want FGFDSg, you can tell the days that are the most hectic because jonghyun comes out to meet you with his hair a mess and his ID on sideways and you always fix him up and kiss his face and he refers to you as his sunlight in dark times and you’re like please you’re my sunlight you make me so proud (those words literally. melt him), is the type to have his family as his phone background and you’re like wow!! id love to meet your parents some day and jonghyun sheepishly admits he’s bragged about you already on the phone, adores it when you get fussy over him not taking his vitamins and not getting enough sleep and he’s always like ‘this is the life of a resident blah blah i cant stop till im the perfect doctor blah blah’ and you’re just holding his face in your hands like kim jonghyun your body is a temple - and not only your temple anymore but also mine because i love you and care about you so seriously dont overwork yourself every time, jonghyun never says it but seeing you scold him like that kind of gets him going and he always attacks you with kisses that show his urgency and you’re like !!! because as sensitive and gentle as jonghyun usually is sometimes something inside him comes out ;—) and it comes out to the point that you might have to hide your neck the next day lkdsjxcv, you wear jonghyun’s lab coat and stand next to minki and everyone is like ok now whose the best looking “doctor” and jonghyun chooses you and minki is DEVASTATED but minhyun is like finally,,,,someone has knocked minki off his high horse, jonghyun holding you around the waist cuddling his face into your neck completely ignoring everything else around you two: uhuh, he’s always saying sorry for things like sneezing our bumping into you by accident and you’re like kim jonghyun you angel you’re too good for me and this world and he’s like,,,well he’s like im sorry TT and you’re like if you say that again i will kiss you to shut u up (of course he says it again,,, and again,,,an again), you learned that he plays a lot of instruments and when he gets the chance he shows you videos of him and you’re like ,,,, how are you so talented and handsome and how am i so lucky and he’s like,,,,,,im the lucky one shh,,,,you guys are literally the ‘i love you more’ ‘no i love you more’ couple LOL, has a habit of licking his lips when he’s thinking and you’re like jonghyun dont do that around patients i feel like one of them might fall for you, dongho from somewhere: they all already fall for him, when he’s not doing his residency and you guys do get to go out you get to see cutest bf jonghyun in a soft cardigan and a warm smile and you’re like wow i love you so much you are like the human personification of wholesome goodness, jonghyun probably has a photo of you in his locker at the dorm that he talks to at the beginning of the day like ‘let make it through the day so our future is bright,,,,,my future with you’ LIKE HES THAT CUTE OK

Jaehwan could hear the loud typing one after another from your shared bedroom, and you were all the way on the other side of house, in your home office. The clock’s red numbers shine brightly, reading 3:43am. He sighs, bringing the blankets over his legs and to your side, where you should be sleeping.

His feet lightly - or so he thinks - patter against the floorboard as he makes his way to your office, and slowly opens the door, exposing him to the bright light and the sight of you rapidly typing on your computer.

As a college student, you had deadlines and essays every other day. As you, you always procrastinated to the last minute. Jaehwan had always reminded you to start earlier, but you’d refused, instead finish the latest episode of a drama he had gotten you into. Maybe that was his fault, he figures.

“Y/N,” you jump, obviously startled by him calling your name and your head turns over your shoulder, your fingers stopping as you see him in the doorway, sweatpants and a loose white shirt on his figure. “It’s late.”

You turn to see the time on your computer, blinking at the letters on the bottom corner of the screen and nod your head, agreeing with him, “Why are you up?”

“Because of you,” he bluntly says, your eyebrows raising slightly.

“And... Wait, what? What do I have to do with you being up?” You’re confused, leaning forward slightly as you wait for his reply.

“It’s almost four in the morning, you have classes tomorrow,” Jaehwan says. Usually, he doesn’t take charge in the relationship, and is almost never serious, but when it comes down to you risking your sleep and health, he puts his foot down.

“Okay, and?”

He rolls his eyes, “It’s time to go to sleep.”

“I still have to finish this, though!” You turn back around as you start to speak, your fingers already starting to rapidly move against your keyboard, your eyes glaring at the screen, “Swear, I’m almost finished.”

“You said that at eight,” he says, walking closer to you and peering down at your screen, “Y/N. I get it, the deadlines and all, but you shouldn’t have procrastinated.”

“I know,” you murmur, so there is a sign you’re still listening to him.

“But trust me, your health is more important than one grade,” he whispers, bending down to your level, “I’m an idol.”

“Yet you still don’t take your own advice,” you retort, reminding him of his late hour practicing.

Jaehwan sighs, nodding, “I know, and I’m working on it. Just like you should be, too. Y/N.. you can finish it tomorrow, I know the deadline isn’t until the day after tomorrow.”

“One more paragraph,” you say, glancing over at him.

He shakes his head, “No, now.”

“But-”

“No, now. It can wait until tomorrow, save it all, shut your laptop down, and follow me into bed,” he demands, tired of you and his long day.

You open your mouth to argue, but when you see the tired look on his face, you reluctantly agree, nodding your head, “Okay.” You do as he says, and he smiles slightly as he holds onto your hand, switching the light off in the office and bringing you to the bed.

“Night,” he hears you mutter after you’ve both settled into your respective spots in bed.

“Rest,” he says, bringing an arm around your waist, “God knows how much you need it.”

to top this off you were pres for the gardening club which seemed to hold more members each week, and every single time when the club meeting ended and you cleaned up there was always someone waiting to confess

and you would lose it

this type of arrangement would go on for weeks until it got routine

and you got tired of it

so at the meeting, you came up to the front of the classroom filled with guys with pots of flowers

“listen up u little shits I know most of you aren’t interested in actual plants and just me. So I’ll give you all this challenge: if you can keep these flowers without killing them, I’ll give you a chance. If the flowers die in a month, you’re out”

they can’t complain, and they wouldn’t anyway

and so you pass the plants out and you’re left to clean up by yourself again

and you’re putting some of the pots back until you felt a tap on your shoulder

you turn around and see him

and you feel all weird and awkward for not knowing him so you just act all cold

a month passed and it was a Monday, there was a meeting today

you sat at the front of the room, waiting for members to come flowing through the door

but no one came

‘wait, did everyone’s plant just die or what?’

that thought spun through your head as you waited

You were getting ready to leave and the door opened,

to Daewhi panting

and he suddenly got confused bc it was only you and him in the room

“Am I that late for the meeting? I’m so sorry (Y/N), I had to make up a test for math and you know how much I hate maths.”

You laughed, “Yeah, it took you awhile to find the square root of 4.”

“Shut up, I even brought the gardenia here.” He showed you the gardenia

You sighed, “You’re the only one who kept it alive.”

“Wait, what?” (((that part in boomerang when he says that is my anthem now)))

And you began to explain, excluding the part that the people who keep it alive had a chance with you

“So we’re the only people in the club now?” he asked

“Everyone else’s plants died, so I guess we are.”

“Does that also mean I have a chance with you?”

and you were all like: ?????????huh??

“So you knew?”

“I heard when some of the boys in the hall talk about it, but I only heard it last week. I took better care of it this week so..” Daehwi trailed off, a light pink dust growing on his face

you found a new side of Daehwi, and it was cute

also, he just happened to confess by saying he took better care of it when he heard what the assignment was rlly for so

“Wanna go out for coffee?” He ended up asking in his scramble of words

“No, I just want to sleep over tonight.”

And, yes, you ended up sleeping over

And in the morning, you had coffee while fixing the flower shop’s display case

And this time you got to choose the theme

and you guys just had a grand ol’ time

• The ISAC’s were always something you had mixed emotions about, • Your group was pretty popular and didn’t exactly need the promotion, but your company was small so it was a good idea to go anyway, even if it was just to have a bit of fun, • You enjoyed spending time with friends from other groups and sending your fans things you’d made, but you could be working on new songs and just the fact the day was so long, • But at least you got to wear a tracksuit like damn, • You were a self producing group who tried out most genres, generally more hiphop and R&B so you’d had many different clothing styles, but nothing beat the black tracksuit the event organizer handed you and the four others in your group, • But at way too early o'clock (honestly any time before 11 am) you pulled yourself out of the car with your group and made your way to the stadium, you all had unique styles; braided hair or sunglasses, • Wow y'all so beautiful and powerful looking I’m quaking, • Y'all known for singing about important matters and independence and basically being badass and are actually rlly respected for it and popular, • Don’t take no shit from no one, you’re out to win today, • And to compliment your friends about all their comebacks and catch up of course, • And then there’s the small matter of Mr Kang Daniel, • One of the boys of the Monster Rookie™ group Wanna One that had taken the nation’s hearts pretty much overnight, • The fans of your group and his had, continuously since their debut, been shipping you nonstop, • And yeah, you thought he was cute and funny but you’d never even met; the most you’ve done was nod to each other or complimented his group on passing after a performance, • And you’re slightly afraid that the shipping would now make it awkward for the two of you to meet and interact; afraid your Stan’s would take it way too far, • You just hope you can get a ‘hi’ or a quick conversation in today with him, although you know it may be difficult, • But your whole group is about not really caring about others’ standards, so you’re going have to remember that, • The opening runs smoothly, and you manage to sneak up to where the fans are and hand out your lunch boxes yourself, although the rules say you really shouldn’t go to the fans area, • (VIXX what trolls this year tho I love them) • You’re sat with Irene and Yeri, Seulgi quite literally asleep on your lap and your members teasing your fans not 10 feet away and honestly wow, • But then the archery gets called up and you have to slide yourself away, • Which breaks your heart because yanno when a puppy is asleep on you so you can’t move? • Like that, • But you grab Tae, the member you’re going to do archery with, and wander off, • You go second, so while you’re waiting you slip some black face paint out of your pocket, before painting some black streaks across Tae’s cheeks as she paints 3 down your face, • Because how else you gunna show you’re ready for war????? • As soon as your competitors look over to you they burst out laughing at the funny faces you pull, one of those competitors in waiting including Kang Daniel himself,

• You make sure to send him a goofy fake scowl, challenging him, to which he cracks up,

• Omg a beautiful sight, Daniel smiling? Those cresent eyes? Soft cheeks? WoW, • In essence - face paint is a very effective way to distract your competitors as well as amusing your fans, • And you totally ace the archery, • You walk away with a Silver medal and that’s totally good enough for you, • But then an interview reporter grabs you and you’re whisked away, • At this point you’re used to it, them Interviewers - they’re everywhere, • “Y/N congratulations on the silver medal! It must have something to do with the face paint?” • The lady smiles brightly and you laugh a little, • “It must be, it was Tae’s idea to show we meant business,” • The lady laughs at this, and starts to ask questions about your latest comeback and the paint, noting how you may have started a new fashion trend, the concept of your new song and making you rap a little bit of your verse, to which your fans scream, • Wow we love a supportive family, • They make your heart race as always as you wave to them, • “One quick thing before you go, Y/N, I don’t suppose you’ve heard your fans talk about you and wanna ones Kang Daniel?” • You’re heart drops at that and you blush, laughing nervously, • “I’ve seen a few things, but don’t know a lot about it,” • You’re such a great liar damn no one suspects a thing, • “Ah, quite a lot of fans are shipping you; saying you’d make a very cute couple,” • You know this is very much a breach of privacy and kinda rude, but you’re known for being quite laid back in your group, so you’re not thrown, although maybe a little lost for words,

• And answers, • And anything that won’t give away your small crush on the member of wanna one, • “ Ah, I think our fans are right, Daniel is very cute and charming, although I’ve not really got the opportunity to get to know him yet,” • Lmao smooth, • Yeah right, you’re pretty obvious, • Although you’re sort of mortified by the fact you’ve inadvertently just said 1) Daniel is very cute to thousands of people and 2) you basically ship the two of you, • You do your natural thing and play it off as if you just told them your first name, • You hear some laughing nearby and quickly glance to spot where you recognise Ong Seongwoo and Kim Jaehwan slapping Daniel himself on the back, way too close, his cheeks bright red and a soft smile on his face as the cameras, no doubt, zoom in on him, • He waves a little when he sees you looking, • Wow what is a normal heart rate,

• You laugh, • At least you’re not the only one to get a taste of this embarrassment, • You’re not alone in your suffering, • And you nearly run away to hide when the interviewer motions Daniel to come closer and he actually complies, • What a snake, • He greets the interviewer and the two of you bow to each other all flushed, not knowing how to stand next to each other, • It’s all very awkward wow, • You know you’ve all been in the situation where you’re with that family member and they’ve already asked about school/work and now have nothing to say, • yeah idk if that’s too specific, • “Daniel, I don’t suppose you’ve heard about the fans shipping either? How do you feel about it?” • You want to melt as Daniels eyes meet yours and a smile stretches across his face, • “I think y/n’s music is incredible and she’s very cute and I’d like to get to know her more,” • You’re dead, • Daniels whole face is red as his eyes skim everywhere and he laughs a little, • This is so weird and unheard of, don’t fans usually not want their idols to date? Aren’t there many things and rules about this? • (y'all it’s stupid it’s their own life let idols date if they want) • But here you are, stood next to your crush, both of you blushing messes, getting set up by your own fans, • “Well that’s very interesting, make sure to get to know each other later,”

• The MC/interviewer chirps and you laugh and stay cool as always, proud you haven’t let anything show except for maybe a slight blush, • Daniel goes to leave but quickly throws his arms around you, giving you a hug at the speed of light before flying away,

• You can hear the fans in the stadium squeal jeez, • Wow, what just happened??? • You quickly jog back to your group who’s hanging out with GFriend and Seventeen after having to send some aegyo to the crowd, • You nearly died of the embarrassment and cringe, but soldiered through, • Let’s just say you get roasted, • Apparently everyone in your group is a savage???? Do they hate you???? Wish for your torment????? • Nah they’re just your best friends, • And just when you’re forgetting about your interview ordeal, your group gets called for the relay race you’re all determined to conquer, having perfect harmony for the change over, • While you may not be the tallest, you’re all fast as hell, having run away from your manager a couple of times, • Lmao you just wanted boba tea, • But you draw more paint, all slightly different, onto the others’ faces before heading over to the track to show everyone what running actually is, • You run last, which is a lot of pressure wow, • And your member is running towards you and they’re neck and neck with a member of twice like damn, • But you take the baton smooth as hell and your legs move quicker than you can compute, almost leaving your torso behind as you focus your whole mind on faster, smoother, faster, • As you’re speeding past you spot Daniel out of the corner of your eye yelling and you can hear your name and wow, • Your heart starts hammering even harder and your head goes a little dizzy, your legs stumbling a little, • But nah you don’t let no boy get in the way of your gold medal as you steam ahead and wow, • 1st place what a gem, • I mean it’s your 3rd gold medal in relay, you guys holding the title, just champs I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ • When sport 💪💪 is life ✌✌✌ can’t let anyone 👨👩 beat you 💃💃 • I hate myself, • But then Daniel’s doing relay as well so you make sure to cheer equally as loud, • Which is hard when you’re still catching your breath, • Who needs Oxygen anyway??? • And the little shit has the audacity to, very obviously, send you a wink, • An unmistakable wink, • What sort of out of the world confidence does he have, he was in 2nd place as well, • As much as you’re shook, it makes you a little soft, but no one will leT yOu lIVE, • All slapping your back or ruffling your hair, • The DeFianCe??? • But you go to get a water bottle and who do you run into? • Yeah, Daniel, • “Congrats on gold~” • His soft tone, • wow, • His soft smile, • Wow, • The two if you actually talking? • W o w, • “Hey I’m sorry about earlier, I didn’t mean to put you in the spot and-” • Lmao yeah, maybe you feel bad a lil for dragging him into what may be a nightmare of always being asked about each other, • “No it’s okay, I’ve wanted to talk to you for a long time, I meant it when I said you where cute,” • Wow you’re a goner for this rookie, • “So did I,” • Wow smooth, not awkward at all,

• “I like the paint by the way, but it makes you a little scary when you’re not smiling,” • Lmao the idea was for you and the squad to look scary and badass especially for the broadcast, • Little do the fans know the next Comeback has a fierce concept, • Lmao playing with fans wow that’s always fun 🙃🙃🙃 • “Here,” • You bring your face paint tub out and hold it up for him, raising an eye brow in question, • He laughs and nods goofily, to which you crack the paint out,

• You run a finger from his forehead down to his jawline in neat straight lines doing down, his skin soft and warm, the look when he closes his eyes so innocent and pure, • Get you a soft man,

• It makes your hand tingle and you’re heart race at the close proximity, standing on your tiptoes and resting a hand on his shoulder for support, • It’s only when you’ve finished do you realise his is now pretty much identical to yours, • WhoOps ACcIDenTS HaPPEn, • But he still looks damn cute, • And you know a fancam of this will be all over the internet later, • Hey; you may even share it on a private account who can say????? • And wow if you don’t continue to spend the rest of the ISAC’s together, taking stupid pictures with people and giving the internet a heart attack, • By the end of the day it seems almost all idols have some sort of facepaint? • A star or a couple of lines of just a smudge done by a member of their group, • A trend starter? • But you’re all leaving the arena with the SqUAD, • But then a hand gently takes your wrist and Daniel leads you to the side of the corridor with your group mates sending teasing smirks over the shoulder to you, • With a shy smile he holds out a piece of paper folded neatly and you can see the outline of numbers written on it, • You laugh lightly, taking the paper and carefully tucking it into your pocket, • “Text me when you get home?” • You nod, knowing you’ll spend too long deciding whether to say 'heya’ or 'hi’ and then make a split second decision and put something else entirely, • And Daniel is just way too cute for you to take, • He makes a move to leave, eyes hovering over you, before slowly leaning over and gently placing his lips on your forehead, ever so sweet, before nodding, smiling quickly and sliding away

JisungHouse: hufflepuff Patronus: mongoose Favorite Class: apparition Type of Student: is outgoing and silly, which makes people initially assume he’s a gryffindor, but he has such a humble and selfless nature that he’s become the most popular upperclassman in hufflepuff. is so sociable, he has friends in all four houses. likes apparition because he’ll do the thing where he pops up out of nowhere to scare woojin or daehwi.

Sungwoon House: gryffindor Patronus: sparrow Favorite Class: muggle music Type of Student: is hardworking and dedicated, but has a strong will to be the best. likes to spend time doing physical magic that involves your body, not a big charms or potions guy. muggle music is his favorite not because of the instruments, but because of the dancing. was recruited by the professors to help teach others to dance for the yule ball.

MinhyunHouse: ravenclaw Patronus: mare Favorite Class: potions Type of Student: super sweet and reliable, but is also into some weird hobbies like tarot card reading and ancient ruin magic. wants to know everything there is too know about potions, overwhelms the teacher just a bit. is really nice and shows care for underclassman, but he’s also competitive and smiles to himself when he sees he placed first in his class. SeongwooHouse: gryffindor Patronus: chimpanzee Favorite Class: defense against the dark arts Type of Student: the sorting hat wanted to put him into slytherin because seongwoo is greAT at coming up with good plans and schemes, but his personality just yells gryffindor. is a beater for the quidditch team and keeps trying to get the defense against the dark arts teacher to tell him about forbidden curses. which,,,,,,,is not going to happen.

JaehwanHouse: ravenclaw Patronus: magpie Favorite Class: frog choir Type of Student: really intelligent and capable of becoming a great wizard, but he’s much more interested in his musical talent. has learned over 200 different songs, all in different languages, from different wizarding schools and sects from around the world. wants to get the school to fund a band aside from frog choir, keeps trying to bribe seongwoo with food for him to be the bands drummer.

DanielHouse: hufflepuff Patronus: hammer-head shark Favorite Class: care of magical creatures Type of Student: is the pride and joy of hufflepuff’s quidditch team because they’ve never had such a good seeker in the history of their house. but amazingly, daniel gets super shy when complimented. has love letters from people in all four houses. people think his favorite subject is flying or dark arts, but he loves animals a lot and owns like three copies of fantastic beasts and where to find them.

JihoonHouse: slytherin Patronus: salamander Favorite Class: astronomy Type of Student: relatively day-dreamy in class, always has something cute pinned to his robes, and is a pretty big deal with the local press that visit hogwarts because,,,,,,visual? visual. he likes astronomy because he thinks the stars and outer space is fascinating and probably reads horoscopes at breakfast even though everyone tells him that stuffs fake. people jokingly say he really doesn’t give off a slytherin vibe but he’s the best kept person on campus, with a resourcefulness that sometimes beats daehwi’s.

WoojinHouse: gryffindor Patronus: brown hare Favorite Class: transfiguration Type of Student: is actually rather talented at dueling with a wand, he can easily catch on to charms and spells, but for some reason he likes to be a class clown along with jisung. he does have a really high interest in human transfiguration, since he isn’t a metamorphmagus, he studies and practices really hard to get the spell down. jisung asked him once why he wanted to learn it so bad and woojin was like so i can transform into minhyun and see what its like to look like that for a day LOL.

JinyoungHouse: slytherin Patronus: boomslang snake Favorite Class: alchemy Type of Student: likes to read and spend time in the library, but his choice of material is always quite odd. he thinks slytherin has the most interesting background and therefore has read almost EVERYTHING there is on its history, his personal favorite wizard is Merlin who was also a slytherin so jinyoung was actually super stocked about being sorted into the same house. he likes alchemy because it’s a close study of the elements of nature which is fundamentally where magic comes from. someone once teased him for it, but ever since it got out that his patronus was a literal venomous snake, people have backed off.

DaehwiHouse: slytherin Patronus: jaguar Favorite Class: charms Type of Student: even at such a young age, he’s already become a registered animagus, able to turn into a jaguar which is also his patronus. his love of charms comes from the infinite amounts of ones to learn and perfect, and he dabbles in creating ones of his own. is highly praised by the teachers and people believe he’s going to be on his way to becoming a member of the ministry of magic soon enough. does a lot of flashy charms in the courtyard just because he can.

Guan LinHouse: slytherin Patronus: orca Favorite Class: divination Type of Student: is a big fan of non-verbal magic and so you’ll never see him actually taking notes. he’ll just wave his wand around and put his head down for a nap while his quill does the rest. is from a pure-blood family who has been a staple of the slytherin house for years but he doesn’t show it off in the least. everyone thinks his patronus is freaking awesome like an orca??? how cool and guan lin is just like “it’s gigantic. i wish it was a gold fish or something.”

people had their preferences on everything

like some people like their routine the same every day

You would say you were not like this, even though others may disagree, you couldn't blame them for thinking this though

(Y/N) (L/N), your residential girl-next-door type, flower girl

the girl you’d see walking the corners of the street and, with a single look from her, would make your heart drown in a pink, foamy mixture called love (cheesy, but it became your slogan anyway)

in the heart of the country, Seoul, it was known that you worked at a trendy cafe

and no, not any ordinary cafe, but a flower cafe which found itself plastered on tabloid magazines

your visuals were everywhere, even making you a near obsession

fans became regulars at the cafe and profit was booming

it was a routine for you for people to come in asking for pictures and autographs

there were frequent requests for you to do your aegyo

“is your heart drowning in my love yet?”

“does the sight of me make your heart drown in pink?”

you were literally internally dying every time but that’s okay lol

you were teased for this by coworkers but you took it lightly

many fans were surprised by your behavior when they met you, how you were somewhat mature and held a cute aura, and it did not disappoint

people were fascinated by you and adored you, which made you happy

through the clear glass windows of the cafe, you could see the clean white walls with strung up lights holding polaroid pictures of employees and aesthetics. bookshelves carried books, potted plants, petite trinkets, and products. splashes of color put emphasis on the white walls. a delicate aroma of coffee and flowers filled the store

and every day, you would come in at 7:30 AM and get ready everything, starting from the actual food to the music coming from the speakers

you started the first hour by yourself, which made the cafe an even greater attraction

but before the doors could open, you would always see the resident flower boy enter the cafe across from yours.

there was a cafe across from the flower girl one, which mostly catered to the male audience. this other cafe was a flower boy cafe, which catered to the female audience

the cafes had a sister-brother like connection and for this reason, the street was called ‘flower plaza’

both stores were insanely popular, which made them also rivals

there was a boy who worked there who made all the internet rage, Park Jihoon, which made him some sort of rep for his shop

so let’s just say you were the rep for your own shop too

both of you were always compared to for some reason?

like, you get you both had the ‘visual’ title and all, but other than that, nothing else was there rlly

you both got to your respective places at exactly the same time, making some awkward ‘hellos’ and smiles happen, but there was always some underlying feeling

whenever you would glance up across from you before opening time, you would see jihoon and his light brown hair, the round glasses which were sometimes there placed on his nose, and his perfect, pink lips formed into a dainty smile

no, you are not admiring him from afar stfu

you kinda hated him in a way

the way he treated female customers (or customers in general) seemed fake, almost sickening for you

you aren't jealous, get out

whenever he did his signature ‘jeojang’ aegyo or wink, it made you have a sick feeling in your gut

no, you aren't in love, of course not

but you had this sick feeling in your gut everytime you saw him anyway

nope, you’re not in denial either, nope

“I want you outside the store advertising today.” your boss had said to you

“wait, why?” you questioned

“I know you’re an extraordinary worker here and you bring, like, half the customers in, but I’d like to see your charms work outside,” she replied

and that’s how you ended up outside the store

the street was bustling and crowds of people were the only thing you could see

you waved and greeted people before they went in

you sighed with content with your hands on your hips when you could finally catch your breath

and that’s when a small space opened up on the street so you could see across the road

was this to be expected??

jihoon was right outside of his cafe advertising like you were doing

that’s when you figured this was your boss’ way of getting back at the other shop

jihoon must’ve noticed at the same time as you bc his p e r f e c t eyes widened and you knew he was as displeased with this as you were

he grimaced, and quickly went back to what he was supposed to be doing

but before he got back to work, the last thing he saw was a sneer on your p e r f e c t face

and that’s when he knew the game was on

it was a couple minutes until you saw a couple of girls with their phones out at jihoon’s “I’ll capture you in my heart”

you scowled

jihoon then peered up to see you weren’t where you were for the last hour

did you leave work? were you working inside now? what??

let’s just say he was upset at this

and he would never admit it but you were strikingly lovely to him

the way you served customers were unique, which was different from other’s who usually put up a huge act

in the mornings when you said hi to each other he always noted that you even looked even though your probs only got up 20 minutes ago

this is a secret, but he looked across to your store a lot just to see you, i’m not crying u are

you remember when I said that there was always an underlying feeling whenever you had small talks with him? just guess

you treated him so cold and he did the same

jihoon was completely infatuated with you, but he saw you as a rival at the same time

but he saw you slightly less than a rival

you had gotten out of the cafe with a tray full of glasses of strawberry milk

and with a crowd watching you, “does the sight of me make your heart drown in pink?” you winked, making fans swoon

your aegyo was top notch and shameless

(did I hear some screaming?)

and the glasses on the tray were all gone

his eyes were blown wide at your performance

he wanted to walk over there and tell you that you were cute and were killing him inside

tell you all about how he loved you from first sight

and jihoon was still watching from a distance

and as you turned to the door to the shop, you glimpsed and smirked at the shock written on his face

he smirked lightly and winked and you huffed, walking to the door
