Happy tdov to fat trans people. 🏳️‍⚧️ Biggest thing that helped me as a trans kid was seeing older fat trans people. There were a lot of really irritating "advice" posts going around early in my time on the internet with a lot of misinformation in them, but one that I constantly saw (in addition to people claiming you should wear your pants rediculously low or only wear button ups) were posts saying you had to lose weight to transition. Can confidently confirm that is completely untrue. 👍

Bonus! Based on this quick thing I did this afternoon and the idea took a bit more shape and turned into that thing from above uEK

"He's different around his friends." Believe that version of him. Why is he keeping friends with people who are fundamentally different than him? He's not. He wants to impress those boys/men and be accepted by them, so clearly he aligns with their values. Also, consider that that's who he is when he feels protected. If he's a rude, disrespectful asshole when he's with his friends then that's because he feels safe being who he truly is in a group of people he feels will protect him (or at the very least go down with him) if things go south. Men are never more of themselves then when they're with other men. A man who is truly nice will not suddenly be an asshole around his friends. catching up on docs streams, and he's talking about religion/spirituality and how it guides people's beliefs etc. he mentions how (generally) people like to be outraged by things [that dont affect them], like who other people are, and then immediately says 'if you're lgbtq you'll know what im talking about'

and i absolutely do. and its so wild to me how he just. drops that in. then starts talking about how it shouldn't matter who you are, how you can still do be incredibly religious and respect queer people, that the most important thing is that your beliefs don't hurt other people. how you should respect pronouns, that being 'indoctrinated' into being queer isn't a thing.
