Every time Peter picked you up at home wearing his suit, you were concerned someone could see the two of you together.
But Peter would reassure you, telling you that “up here no one sees us babe.”, and of course, so far nobody did.
But you knew the day would come, sooner or later. And you already worried what you would do once it did.
Right now, Peter was about to bring you home, swinging from building to building. Once you arrived at your building complex, he landed right in front of the door. The street lamps had already been turned on; it was late. He still had an arm wrapped around your waist, holding you close to him.
“Now don’t worry about Flash anymore, okay, babe?”, he asked lowly, his hand caressing your back. You sighed, looking up at him. “You know I’m only worried because he keeps being mean to you.”, you replied, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck. He leaned his forehead against yours. “I know but-”, he started, but stopped because his spider sense alarmed him.
He whipped around, right in time for a flashlight blinding the both of you. “What the hell?”, he almost yelled. Once the both of you regained sight, you saw a journalist standing in front of you, having just snapped a picture of the sight before him.
“Spidey, is this your girlfriend?”, he asked frantically. “How did you guys meet? Do you plan on going public? Do you-”, he continued asking, but Peter cut him off. “That’s the point where I leave.”, he stated simply, looking at you shortly before shooting a web and disappearing into the night.
Now the journalists gaze met yours. Your eyes widened and you spun around quickly, already searching your keys. “Are you two a thing? Do you know his identity?”, he kept asking when you finally found your key and disappeared into your apartment complex.
You received a text message as you went into your apartment.
‘Everything alright?’ It was from Peter, of course.
‘Yeah. Guy was creepy, tho.’, you replied.
‘What’d he ask you?’, he asked
‘Whether we dated and if I knew your identity.’
‘You didn’t say anything, right?’, he questioned further.
‘Of course not, baby. Don’t worry, okay?’, you tried calming him down.
‘I’ll try. Love you, see you tomorrow.’
‘Love you too.’
On the next day, when you were about to leave your home and go to school, you almost screamed out of shock when you saw the same journalist from last night standing in front of your apartment complex. Only now, two of his colleagues were standing next to him, directing a camera and a microphone into your direction.
You turned on your heel and tried to get away from them, but they kept following you. “We’re here with the girl Spider-Man himself brought home last night. How does it feel to be Spider-Man’s girlfriend?”, the journalist asked. You thought about ignoring him, but he could see that as prove.
“I’m not his girlfriend. He simply brought me home as a nice gesture.”, you stated, not looking at either of them. Your back was turned towards them as they kept interrogating you. But they kept following you, even into the train you took to school.
“Can you tell us anything about him? Do you know his name? Or where he lives?”, you tried ignoring them as best as you could, but you felt insanely uncomfortable and prayed Peter would find you once he was on the train himself.
“Ehm, excuse me?”, you heard a familiar voice. The three journalists turned around, and so did you. “Can you leave her alone? Don’t you see how anxious you make her?”, Peter asked, clearly annoyed at how these three grown men were behaving.
“And you are?”, the journalist asked. “Her boyfriend.”, he stated, his eyebrows furrowed in anger. The journalists face lit up. “Oh, so you must be happy to hear that your girlfriend kissed Spider-Man last night.”, he grinned.
“I didn’t !”, you stepped into the conversation. “You know you just made that up right now, so leave us alone!”, you stated, grabbed Peter’s hand and turned away from them, searching for another spot in the train.
Once Peter thought you were far enough away from the reporters, he pulled you into him. “He couldn’t have seen us kissing yesterday, could he?”, he whispered into your ear, worry evident in his voice.
“No. We sure were about to kiss last night, but we didn’t because you sensed him before, remember?”, you whispered back. He nodded in response, but he didn’t really seem convinced.
“Hey,”, you said lowly, making him look up from the ground and look at you. You raised your hand and placed it on his neck, playing with his small brown curls. “Everything’s alright, okay? They know nothing,”, you said in a calm voice. He nodded again, leaning into your hand for comfort.
“I love you so much,”, he whispered, making you grin in contentment. “I love you too,”, you replied, before pulling his face down to press your lips against is soft ones.
Even as the both of you reached Midtown High, the reporters were still following you, asking you questions. But Peter simply squeezted your hand, and the two of you kept walking and ignoring them.
Only once you were inside of school, did you really feel comfortable again. They hadn’t followed you into the building, yet.
The day went on without any other disturbances. That was, until lunch time.
You sat together with Ned and MJ, waiting for Peter, when suddenly it seemed as though the whole cafeteria started talking at once. The three of you looked around, everyone as confused as the other.
“What the hell is going on?”, Ned asked, as you shrugged your shoulders. “Guys!”, MJ exclaimed, looking at her phone with wide eyes. “I might know what they’re talking about,”, she continued as she showed the two of you her phone.
It was an article of The Daily Bugle, headlined ‘Spider-Man allegedly going to Midtown Highschool of Science’. Your mouth fell open in shock. How could they know? You looked around in panic, searching for Peter’s face in the cafeteria.
You spotted him at the entrance and your gazes locked. He looked at you with shock, hurt, disappointed and anger all mixed on his face. Wait. He couldn’t. Or did he really think you were the one telling the reporters Spider-Man was a student?
For what seemed like an eternity, you just stared into each others eyes from across the room. But when he finally shook his head and turned on his heel, you jumped up from your seat and ran after him.
You caught him right outside of the cafeteria, grabbing the sleeve of his jacket to make him stop. “Pete!”, you exclaimed. He suddenly whipped around, looking at you with the same emotions as just a few seconds ago. Hurt. Anger. Disappointment. Shock.
“What do you want, Y/N?”, he almost yelled. You were taken aback by the anger lacing his voice. You couldn’t talk. But you didn’t have to, since Peter wasn’t done letting out his frustration.
“What were you thinking? Were you so intimidated by those reporters that you just told them? Or did you think they would leave you alone if you told them just a little bit of my private life? Or even better, do you just enjoy being in the spotlight for once?”, he asked angrily, letting his anger out on you.
Tears had been welling up in your eyes ever since he began talking, but now they were freely streaming down your face. You looked at him, speechless. You could visibly see him calm down now, his face softened more by the second.
“Y/N I’m sorry I shouldn’t have yelled it’s just-”, he started talking, taking a step towards you. You took a step back, making him go silent.
“And did you, for one second, just think about the possibility that I didn’t tell them? That I simply love you too much to ever do something to hurt you? That I would rather let them follow me for weeks than tell them even the tiniest bit about you?”, you asked quietly, looking at the ground.
“But if you really thought I could do all that, then you don’t know me at all,”, you said, looking at your boyfriend. There were tears glistening in Peter’s eyes now as well and his lip was quivering when you turned around and returned to the cafeteria.
For the rest of the day, you neither talked to nor saw Peter. You didn’t want to, either. You were still mad at him. Well, more hurt than mad. In fact, you just wanted this fight to be over. You missed him. But you were also just so fukcing hurt by the things he said that you wouldn’t be the one to apologize.
But when you were lying in bed that night, crying your eyes out, you really thought you lost him. Maybe he thought about what you said and now thought he didn’t really know you. Maybe he finally realised that you weren’t good enough for him or that-
Your thoughts were interrupted by a knocking on your window. You were sitting upright within a second and standing on your feet within the next. You knew it could only be your boyfriend. No one else could be outside of a window in the 18th floor.
You opened your window to a depressed looking Spider-Man, holding flowers and chocolate in his hands. No one said anything for a second. “Can I- Uhm you know can I come in?”, he asked lowly. You stepped aside, muttering a quiet ‘sure’.
He climbed in and then he was standing in front of you, towering over you, still wearing his Spider-Man mask. “I-I bought your favourite flowers,”, he said, handing them to you. “and uh..your favourite chocolate as well,”, he added, giving it to you.
He still had his mask on, and you knew exactly why. So you put his gifts away and cupped his face gently. You gripped the hem of his mask gently. “You don’t have to hide from me,”, you gently whispered. He gave a short nod in response and you slowly rolled his mask up until you could see the last bit of his messy curls.
His face was tear-stained and his eyes all red and swollen, matching yours. You got on your tip toes, gripping his neck in the process. You pressed your lips against his in a desperate, long over-due kiss. Both of you sighed into the kiss contently.
You pulled away again and flopped down onto your feet. “Now continue.”, you demanded, grinning at him. He huffed out a laugh before gently gripping your hands into his.
“I was so fucking wrong,”, he began, making you giggle. “Truth is I do know you. And I know you wouldn’t do any of the stuff I said you did. And I was wrong for saying all this and for making you cry. I wish I could take it all back but I can’t. So I’m here to ask you if you can forgive me for being so fucking irrational and dumb.”, he spoke quietly, but you heard every single word and you knew he meant it.
“Of course I forgive you,”, you said. “But I was wrong too. I shouldn’t have said you don’t kniw me because you’re the only person on this world who really does,”, you continued as you caressed his cheek gently.
Peter cupped your face with both his hands and pulled you in for a gentle kiss. It was full of apologies and tears, but the way your lips moved together didn’t feel any different.
“Don’t ever apologise for something that is my fault ever again, you hear me?”, he said, staring into your eyes once he pulled away. “Sure,”, you smiled, kissing him again.
“Do you know who told them in the end?”, Peter asked as you lay next to him, plaing with his fingers as he gazed at you lovingly. You shook your head, looking at him curiously.
“Flash,”, he grinned. “No way!”, you called out, sitting up. He mirrored your actions and smirked. “Yeah. He said Spider-Man was his best friend and that he goes to our school.”, he told you. “Oh no he didn’t,”, you laughed. “Sadly, he did.”, Peter said as he joined you in laughing.

A/N: This is nothing but a stupid crack fic (no x reader) that shouldn’t be taken seriously, dedicated to @drabblily and @visaintes! Actually, I had quite some fun writing it and it came out of an impulse of wanting to write smth for the both of you. Thank you for making me laugh and here is smth stupid for you two to read, hope you can enjoy it ahdahjfaf also it was really weird to put my own name in it but i didn't want to use a random name;;
Chicago was buzzing with the streets full of people passing by and the street lights flickering above the stores. The sky was cloudy, looking like the next free shower might not be too far away. Luckily, Vi catched her train and it seemed like she might have enough time to reach her destination before the rain would start pouring down on her. Her heart was beating heavily inside of her chest, though not from running but from the nervousness she felt. Honestly, she wanted to turn around and go back to her room so she could rest on her bed, silently reading the new book she bought yesterday. It was all so stupid really, why was she doing this? What did Lily think when she wanted Vi to come with her.
She arrived at the agreed spot, a rather small restaurant that was mostly known by the locals and less by the tourists.
It had a nice flare, more on the modern side but the cushioned seats and wooden interior made it seem quite comfortable. Looking around the room Vi couldn’t see the familiar brunette, only one or two couples sitting at a table and some older men sitting at the bar near the entrance. A blonde young woman came up to the front door where she was currently waiting.
“Hello, can I help you? Did you reserve a table?”, the waitress, Ally the name tag said, asked her. “Oh, yeah I had a table for four? But I think one of my friends is already here. So,...”, right in that moment the door in the back opened and she could spot her 5’2ft friend coming out of it.
“There she is.”, Vi told her and pointed right at the girl, who was walking straight at the both of them. “Alright.”, Ally replied and stepped aside, so Vi could walk over to her friend. Nearly reaching her, Vi could clearly see how Lily tripped and almost fell face first on the ground. It was hard to not just straight up laugh at the scene but Vi contained herself 'cause she didn't want to catch too much attention of the other customers. A small chuckle did escape her lips though and Lily just shot her a friendly glare, straightening up again.
"Finally you're here, what took you so long?” Lily asked her as the two of them hugged each other as a greeting. “I told you that I had college today, just be glad that I catched the train or else you would’ve been alone with those two guys.”, Vi replied, thinking about how mad Lily would’ve been if she’d bailed on her at the last minute. The two of them were supposed to meet up with guys, actually two friends of their friend Miki.
Guess, it was their fault for complaining to her, especially Vi, who always jokes about wanting to get dicked down after one of their thirst nights. “So, care to explain who we’re actually meeting and why we’re doing this again?” It was not like Vi wasn’t a bit excited, Miki wouldn’t push them to meet the guys if they weren’t at least decently looking with nice personalities but still, the outcome of tonight might be questionable. “Stop complaining we’ve talked about it many times now and we’ve promised Miki to go through with it at least for an hour or so.” Lily and Vi moved over to their table, which was situated at the back of the restaurant, two chairs and a cushioned bench. Even though it looked quite modern, the kitchen specialized in traditional japanese cuisine but some dishes had a american twist here and there.“
Who had the idea to come here? I live in Chicago and I didn’t even know this place existed.”, Vi asked her friend, who was already looking through the menu. “It was the suggestion of one of the guys that we’re going to meet soon. Apparently he visited Chicago many times already and on one of his visits he found this little store. I’m not mad though, it does seem quite nice.” Lily replied and Vi had to agree, it seemed quite comfortable and even if the guys turn out to be not that good, she might as well have a nice meal. “Alright I’m gonna go to the bathroom before the other two are arriving.” Vi said as she slipped out of the booth and Lily couldn’t help but laugh. “Yeah, just look twice if you’ve locked the door.” That’s when both of them broke out in laughter, remembering the panicked words Vi texted in their group chat as a woman opened the door when she just took a dump.
___
Sitting alone at the table, Lily wondered when the two guys would turn up. She knew that her friend wouldn’t introduce them to someone so carelessly but there was still a bit of a risk there. What if they did look good but were assholes? No one needs that in their life. Actually, she was really relieved that Vi didn’t leave her hanging. For a short time she was pretty anxious because her friend wasn’t there yet but the moment she saw Vi walking through the door, a stone fell off of her chest. She opened her phone to check the time, it was currently 6.50 pm and they were supposed to meet up at 7, so a little time was still left. A new message popped up at the top of the screen and with a click her chat with Miki opened.
Miki: Are they there yet?
Lily: No, but they still got some time left so dw. It’s still a bit strange tho, you met those guys before right?
Miki: Yeah! Why else would I want to introduce them to you two? Those guys are just great and believe me when I say that you guys will like them😼👍🏼
Lily wanted to text back but a rather loud voice startled her, making her look up from the  phone. When she met the face of the person, who just surprised her, she swore she forgot how to breathe for a second. The boy that was standing right in front of her table was just gorgeous. He had spiked up hair with dark roots and light grey frosted tips. His eyes were shining brightly in a golden hue and his smile was as bright as the sun itself. He was rather tall but that was nothing compared to his bulky statue, the grey shirt he was wearing nearly bursting from the impressive muscles he had. He wore a simple pair of black jeans to his shirt and from what she saw, she could already tell he had a great ass. Damn, what was this fine piece of man doing here, standing right in front of her when she was supposed to meet two random guys her friend wanted to introduce to her.
“Sorry uhm, are you Lily?” The handsome guy in front of her asked chuckling and Lily realized that she was just blatantly staring at him without saying a word. Shaking her head a bit she tried to get back her composure and smiled back at him. “Yeah I’m Lily.” She answered without wondering how the hell that guy knew her name. “Oh great! I thought I was lost for a second ‘cause I didn’t know where you’d sit and when I asked the waitress just told me to look here in the back.”, his voice was loud but not annoying, just loud enough to show how excited or energetic he was and honestly she liked his voice quite a bit.
“So, my friend who was also supposed to come went to the toilet so I’m just gonna introduce myself first.”, the still nameless boy said before he stretched out his hand for her to take it.
“I’m Bokuto, Bokuto Koutaro! I’m currently training to get into the first V-League in Japan and I’m pretty confident that they’re gonna scout me soon.”, he told her with a self-assured smile. Normally she didn’t think that highly of guys who thought so much of themselves, though somehow he didn’t seem like just some big talker with nothing to back up his words but she truly believed what he told her, she’d probably even cheer for him.
“Oh wow, that’s impressive! Well, I wish you all the best and also nice to meet you Bokuto.”, she took his hand, shook it and that’s when she registered that this guy could actually be the person she was expecting to meet tonight. Well, he did talk about how he searched for her and he had a friend with him and also, he already knew her name. While Lily was still trying to comprehend the situation, Bokuto sat himself down on the seat in front of her and already started to talk about something, asking her questions to get to know her. How the hell was she supposed to survive this without constantly staring at the person in front of her.
____
Vi pushed the door of the bathroom, but instead of it smoothly opening up, the door abruptly stopped and a low groan could be heard behind the door. Rushing outside Vi could see a young man standing behind the door, one hand holding the door and the other holding his nose, face scrunched up in pain. “Oh my god, sorry!”, Vi exclaimed as she closed the door and moved to the person in pain. He shook his head and lowered his hand from his face. She nearly stopped in her tracks looking at the soft and yet sharp features of the guy in front of her. He… was just beautiful. How can someone like him exist? It’s like he just came out of one the animes she always loved to watch.
“It’s all good.”, he told her and oh god, his voice was so smooth, just like silk. “Uhm, are you sure?”, she asked again because she felt guilty for slapping his pretty face with the door. “It’s fine really, no need to worry.”, he chuckled as he looked at her and Vi suddenly felt exposed to his eyes. Well, if he was looking then she could take a peek at him too right? He wore black turtleneck with a light brown coat hanging loosely around his shoulders, combined with a pair of light blue jeans, but what really got your attention were his ocean blue crystal like eyes. A light cough brought her back to reality and she could see a light red flush on his cheekbones as he tried to avert his gaze.
“I’m sorry but I have to go, please try to avoid hitting someone with a door again okay?”, he teased her and she did feel a bit disappointed that he had to leave but that’s when her brain reminded her that she was also here to meet someone. “No promises but I’ll try.”, Vi said and moved to go back to her table.
As she approached her table she could already make out one guy sitting at the table with Lily and the both of them seemed to be quite invested in each other. Weren’t there supposed to be two? Well, maybe he was also on the toilet, Vi shrugged it off and continued walking.
“Hey, hey, hey!”, the actually quite cute boy in front of Lily exclaimed as he saw her getting closer. “Look who finally came back from the toilet. Come on Akaashi, don’t leave us waiting any longer!”, as he said that Vi turned around and there he was, the same guy she shoved a door in the face was standing there.
The Akaashi guy just gave her a small smile and looked over to the loud guy, “Don’t be so loud Bokuto, you don’t want to disturb the other people here, do you?”, Akaashi teasingly scolded Bokuto and Vi just stood there and watched the scene unfold in front of her. She wanted to run away, far away.
“Finally we’re complete! Bokuto that’s Vi and Vi that’s Bokuto, the other half of the two we were supposed to meet and I see, you met Akaashi already.”
Lily spoke up, a little smirk sitting on her lips.
Ignoring the implication Lily made there, Vi just greeted Bokuto and introduced herself once again, as she slipped into the booth with Lily. Akaashi sat down in front of her and before anyone could say anything the waitress came to ask for their orders. “Sorry but we still need a bit of time to look for the food but maybe we could start with the drinks? I’d take a glass of water please.”, Akaashi told the waitress and then looked at Vi to continue.
“Oh, for me a glass of water too please.”, Vi said and instantly Akaashi spoke up again, “How about we just get a bottle of water? We could get two glasses and that’s probably more convenient.”, Vi just nodded her head, smiling at his attentiveness.
Next one was Bokuto, “I think I’ll get lemon ice tea, oh wait maybe peach? Hmm, you know what I’ll settle with raspberry.”, he happily announced and Akaashi just let out a small laugh and shook his head.
“Well, I would like to get a mango smoothie, thank you.” Lily said and Bokuto's eyes seem to sparkle even more. “Mango smoothie sounds great! Wait, can I change my order to that please?”, he excitedly asked the waitress and his smile was so innocent, no one could be mad at him. The waitress repeated the orders and when everything was checked, she left to get the drinks.
So, now it was time for them to take a look at all the food they had. The menu was very broad and a lot of the Japanese cuisine was listed on it. Lily was pretty sure though that she’d take some ramen, it’s her favorite after all, but the sushi looked damn good in this restaurant. “Do you already know what you want to eat?”, Bokuto’s voice came up behind the menu. He looked expectantly at her and it was crazy how she’d always had to smile when she looked at him. She didn’t know if it was because he was really happy today, but somehow she felt like he could radiate this happiness all the time.
“Yeah not completely, I really want to get some ramen but the sushi also looks pretty good but I don’t think I could eat one bowl of Ramen and a whole set of sushi.”, for one minute Bokuto looked like a confused puppy, thinking about what she just said and it was so adorable, she was really tempted to pat him.
“How about you get your ramen and if you want some of my sushi, I’ll gladly give you some pieces. That way you don’t need to buy any extra sushi but still get to taste some.”, he smiled proudly at her, probably impressed by himself that he got that idea. Lily had to chuckle, he was such a big guy, if he wanted he could fling you right across the room but he was actually nothing but a hot sweetheart. “But I don’t want to eat your food away!” Lily remarked because she didn’t want to come off as someone who would just feed off of others, but well that’s probably just her thinking too much again. Bokuto laughed at what she just said, but not just a small one but a full hearted laugh. “Don’t worry, I order a lot anyway!”, he said, trying to convince her that they should go with the way he suggested.
While those two continued their rather loud conversation, the other half of the table were still looking silently through the menu. Looking up from the menu Vi caught Akaashi already watching her and the two of them let out a small laugh. “So, it was your idea to choose this restaurant? I have to say it’s really nice but even though I live here I’ve never heard of it. How did you find it?”, Vi asked him to try and spark a conversation. “Well, I did an apprenticeship here in Chicago for college one year ago and made some friends here. Since then I visited Chicago quite often and the place I worked at was right down the street, so my colleagues and I came here sometimes after work to take a bite.”, he explained to her and it was like she was hypnotized by him, hanging on every word that passed his lips.
“What did you do?”, she had the urge to know more about him, about this crazy good looking piece of man. “It was a small publishing company and I worked there as an editor for half a year.”, he replied to her. Editor? So not only was he charismatic, kind and a beauty but also a fan of literature? Bingo.“Did you decide on something to eat already?” Akaashi asked her suddenly and she nearly forgot about the fact that they still needed to order. “I think I’ll take some sushi but they just have such a big selection I’m not sure what to get.” And it was true, the menu was huge, ranging from simple to the most special looking sushi. “How about we both order different things and share?”
Akaashi suggested it to her and she had to smile because once again he was being attentive. “Sure, I’d like that.”, she answered and both of them smiled at each other.
Right before the waitress came back both of the girls phones vibrated and they took a glance at the message they both just received.
Miki: I can already see the thirst night coming about those stupidly good looking gentemens. yw.

“Now, you’re only gonna listen to my words. Yes, now you’re only gonna look at me. Yes, now you’re only gonna fall for me. Yes, now let’s start, from now on.” – Play With Me [CROSS GENE]
Tumblr media
        This wasn’t supposed to happen.
The plan was supposed to work. After all, you’ve been planning this for weeks. You’ve studied his schedule, quirks, moods, to the point where you were able to identify his feelings from a single twitch of his lips alone. So, why? Why did it still not working? Why was freedom so hard to reach?
And most of all, why did you even think that just because he wasn’t present in the same room as yours, he wouldn’t know what you were doing at all?
Jin wasn’t too big on arguments. Once attacked, he would usually choose to be defensive rather than strike back. It was nice to know that he still considered his partner’s feelings as opposed to brutal offense. However, it seemed that today wasn’t your lucky day. Just like any other day you were stuck with him in this so-called ‘home’.
Home? What the hell was home? All you knew was a hellhole whom you endeavored to depart as far as you could despite your seeming laziness and nonchalance.
And of course, Jin was bound to notice your odd behavior. Because honestly? This wasn’t the first time you’d taken such a drastic measure to leave him and his toxic love.
Contrary to what you thought about him, Jin wasn’t that delusional. He knew what he did was wrong – immoral. And if the reverse came true, where he was the captive of his own house and you were the captor, he would definitely try to escape. It was only natural because even the laziest person in the world didn’t want to be trapped in a possessive lunatic hell-bent on controlling their movements.
But just because he acknowledged it, didn’t mean he would change what already happened. No, he couldn’t and he wouldn’t. Jin was a loyal man, after all. Once committed, he would go through hell and heaven with his partner.
And, of course, all he asked in return were loyalty and affection. He wanted his efforts to be noticed, too. But clearly, you couldn’t see that. Rather, you were blind to the terrifying depth of his love despite his stream of loving words, expensive gifts, and soft touches. Because if you did realize, then you wouldn’t have attempted to poison him in the first place.
You stood in the center of his office, eyes fixed on to the floor below. The silence was thick, and the constant ringing in your ears did nothing to ease the silent anxiety that racked your whole body. You hated how vulnerable you were under his gaze; how your hands trembled underneath the sweater paws as you waited in tensed anticipation of his next reaction. You wanted to get out and curl up on the bed. Anything to avoid the punishment that would surely come after your gutsy action.
“I thought you’ve changed,” Jin spoke, voice laced with heavy disappointment. But you still couldn’t bring yourself to care because, in your mind, it was better to be a bit rebellious than being submissive altogether. An obedient bitch that only obeyed his orders as if he were your boss – your master. You were scared, sure, but at least you’d tried to be brave.
You’d stood up for yourself. Now if only he was that petty bully, then this whole situation might be a bit easier for you to handle.
But you were scared. So, so scared you might puke right in front of him.
         “Nothing to say, huh?”
Jin turned his attention back to the screen of his computer. It replayed the footage of you adulterating his tea with some strange substance. Your profile was resolute as you slowly stirred the tea with a teaspoon, trying to make it as inconspicuous as possible. You didn’t know there was a CCTV in the kitchen, nor were you aware of its existence around the house. And judging from the angle in which the video was recorded, the camera must be hidden inside the glass-door cabinet that stored antique china.
You really needed to move your butt out of the couch and start cleaning the furniture for once.
Sighing, Jin opened one of the drawers and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. How did he get those, you had no idea, since Jin didn’t look like the type to use bondage on the bedroom. But you knew, those wouldn’t be used for sexual practice. Jin preferred practical punishment more than sexual. And, well, at least you were able to retain some of your dignity from the former. You didn’t know if you could bear the thought of being a moaning mess under his rough affection, and the shame that followed.
The chair rolled away slightly as he stood up and approached your frozen figure. He pulled both of your hands and shackled your wrists with a single click. After that, he moved to sit back on the rolling chair and deliberately spilled the contaminated tea on to the floor.
         “Lick it.”
You immediately snapped your head towards him, unsure if you heard it right. Maybe your mind was playing a cruel trick on you. Maybe you misheard it. Although you knew, he knew, you heard what he was saying. The order was crystal clear in your ears. No repeat, no hesitation, no reluctance.
Sure, it was more lenient than any punishment you’ve had in the past, but it didn’t make it any less demeaning.
“Lick it until there’s nothing left.”
You stared at him for a long time, deciding whether or not he was being serious. His face was darkening in each second, and yet you still wanted to make sure he wasn’t misspeaking himself.
“Are you deaf? I said lick it!”
You flinched. Jin rarely raised his voice around you, opting to manipulate you through his cogent words instead. He didn’t have an acting degree and the face to complement it for nothing.
Reluctantly, you bent down to your knees and leaned forward. Well, as forward as you could with bound hands. Strands of hair fell from your shoulders, some touching the little pools of brown tea.
Before you could open your mouth and clean the mess he had created, the air was abruptly knocked out of your lungs. A sturdy foot flopped on to your back, pressing you against the floor.
“I hate to do this, but bad girls need their punishments. You should be grateful that I’m not heartless enough to poison you back.”
Jin pushed you down, even more, ignoring your muffled whine. “Now, lick it like an obedient bitch you are.”
