i'm extremely extremely fucking sad about the coyotes, i can hardly take it. in the end, it's obviously all about money and the current owners of the coyotes have botched so much out of pure greed and incompetence, but it breaks my heart that it's going to be the cause of hockey interest and resources maybe drying up in a place where it CAN thrive. it isn't about the location of arizona (any time someone says it doesn't work there i want to DIE and kill fjkldsz), and frankly.. i don't see how fucking mormon run utah is gonna "grow the game" in a way the nhl wants either but. hockey can work in the south and it has!!!!! and it deserves actual competent owners and management and resources to do so!!!!!!

any leafs fan laughing about it bc their feelings have been hurt over ppl insinuating auston might leave for az is a piece of work. the greatest leaf of all time is into hockey directly because of the arizona coyotes. i don't know the specifics of like.. all the resources that may end up not being available anymore without a pro team in the area, but it's so upsetting to so many people and they deserved better. the fans and the players and all the people employed by the coyotes deserve so much better than how this has all gone.

They're not related closely at all, probably closest relative is some Storm Kloud relatives from the 70s-80s. The dogs above are very much show bred with M'Loot heavy pedigrees which are pretty opposite of my dogs, but their breeder is quite vocal about making judges less averse to solid white dogs in the show ring which i appreciate.

Hey people of tumblr I have an idea of a way to help support Gaza. This one's especially for people living in Christian areas with a lot of mainstream acceptance of israel. It's only a few days until Christmas and as for all Gazans, things are incredibly desperate for the small population of Christian Gazans. In particular here are some articles talking about fears all Christians in Gaza will be dead soon.

So how about we call up our local churches and ask what they're doing to help the people of Palestine?

The articles I've linked come from a variety of backgrounds. Some predate oct 7th. All focus on the plight of Christians in Palestine. Take your pick for what source you think will speak to your audience.

I want you to find a church that is ignoring the genocide or even praying for israel and then point out it's not just people being murdered. It's their people being murdered. Contact your local church like "Hey I'm Name, I'm not really a member of any church these days but it's Christmas and I really want to do something to help people in Palestine. I was wondering if you have something planned over Christmas? Maybe a prayer meeting or a protest or something idk 🥺" Then if you recieve any pushback switch to "oh but I'm just sooooo worried about our fellow Christians unable to celebrate Christmas".

It's a great place to ease people into caring about genocide who normally wouldn't. And if you convince a priest they might tell their whole congregation about how this christmas they have to show up for persecuted christians in jesus' birthplace. Worth a try?

Shows for the gays, in that they're full of queer characters and that's just their default and the story they feel like telling, and I wish that would've been normal growing up but it wasn't so I'm fucking real happy it is now (but mostly for Me because everyone's tastes vary and there's many shows for us that are probs not my thing or your thing etc). It's just like... I genuinely remember when I grew up, if you wanted anything with even one main gay character you pretty much had to watch the gay channel, a specific cable channel, and then rhe big shows were romance life focused which isn't my personal cup of tea or romance movies and like. You were thankful you even got ahold of them. Then gradually a single 1-2 queer characters cropped up in some sci fi shows, and a handful of high drama life type shows. And now? Now if I just want a fun comedic show or supernatural show or just More Genres of things? At least there's some options with queer characters, more than there certainly used to be.
