Another thing that bothers me about Buck and Eddie's "love interests" is that they have no connection to the rest of the team.

Not just that they had little to no social interactions with the team while they're together.

Maddie, Karen, and Athena all have other connections to the team besides who they're dating or married to.

Maddie is Buck's sister, he introduced her to Chimney. When he saw them becoming close he encouraged them to start dating.

Karen was Chimney's friend and neighbor. He set her up with Hen, and got them back together when they almost break up.

Athena and Hen were friends before they met Bobby. Hen knew before anyone else they were dating and was mad she didn't set them up.

So who have Buck and Eddie been introduced to by the team?

Albert - They both met him when he came to see his brother, Chimney
