Does anyone know the birth order of Titania's children? I swear that in the Unkindest Tide the Luidaig says that Captain Pete is Titania's oldest "Count Lorden, you may know her better by her given name: Amphitrite, Firstborn daughter of Titania and Oberon, Mother of the Merrow." But I know Eira/Evening has been referenced as her oldest a ton of times. Is it a typo or am i missing something? At first I thought they were from different lines, but Amphitrite is Titanias since maeve's children accepted her as their own before they realized that she was one of Titania's.

Mav: I like to play a game called Nap Roulette.

Mav: It's where I take a nap, but I don't set an alarm.

Imagine Maverick attempting to teach Bradley how to dance the Laendler from The Sound of Music and Ice sees, surprising pretty much everyone with how smoothly he can dance.

And Maverick and Ice have been dancing around each other for months now, not wanting to admit that their feelings, this dance just shows how they can't hide their feelings any more...

So, at *that* moment when the dance gets more intimate and their faces are mere inches apart, so much so that if they just leaned a little bit forward...

But Maverick steps back with Ice still staring at him with that piercing gaze of his, and he tries a lame excuse, "I don't remember anymore."

Bradley comes out of nowhere, noticing in the typical little-kid fashion, "Your face is all red."

"Is it?" Mav asks, his hands going to his cheeks that suddenly feel hot and flushed. But still, he doesn't look away from Ice. "I don't think I'm used to dancing."

And Ice just smiles that little half-smirk of his, those blue eyes still so piercing.

so @presidentromana and I have been working on a Toby Daye AU where Liz and the Luidaeg have a kid. and when I say an AU, I really mean three variations of that AU.

the fic so far:

Bound in Shallows and Miseries by @presidentromana: Elizabeth Ryan is pregnant and no one will believe in her fidelity, not even her dear Annie. T, 4k.

This one is a standalone fic.

Against Your Peace by @magicofthepen: Antigone of Albany lost all her children. When Faerie decides to give her another, she will do whatever it takes to keep her daughter safe. T, 4k.

(cw: unplanned pregnancy, childbirth, kidnapping, suicidal ideation, mention of (canonical) suicide, presumed child death—but no actual child death)

This one is the start of a series, Broken Oaths and Distant Shores—we have several fics already written in this series and many more planned! (This is a different timeline than Bound in Shallows and Miseries.)

There will also be a third timeline of the kid!AU at some point, which will have its own series. But all fics in all versions of the kid!AUs are collected in A Thousand Fearful Wrecks.

something something Rooster and Mav landing back on deck and Rooster’s calling out to him as “Captain Mitchell, Captain Mitchell!”

(casual reminder that Hondo is the only one in the film up to this point to refer to Mav as captain in a positive way)

and when Rooster has Mav’s attention, he’s still staying professional by calling him “Sir….”

(even though he yelled Mav! when Maverick was shot down, he’s back to trying to be respectful of that distance, knows that it can’t just be as simple as nearly dying for each other)

And then Mav just fully says fuck that to rank and professionalism and decorum, makes it clear that it is that simple, and pulls his kid in for a hug
