i ever ask you about your thoughts on the old Lincoln suicide doors??? well i'm gonna ask again even if i did: what're ur thoughts on the old Lincoln suicide doors?? i actually SAW one with the doors in the wild once!!!! it was NUTS, i was on a bus and the car was in an auto shop lot and i almost lost my mind, LOL

HELL YEAH SUICIDE DOORS! Unfortunately we dont get many Lincolns where I am, but I know the one youre talking about! Especially on the older Lincolns, they're like the cream between the layers of cake when it comes to cars, they just add that much more style, a lil bit of pizzazz! Plus I love how much personality you can get from them, and just how many variations there are. And hell road safety standards be damned, theyre just so practical on small cars. A part of me wishes that they were more common, but another part of me likes the rarity, with how uncommon they are nowadays, seeing them is just that much more special :) At one point in time I really wanted a mazda rx-8 (in blue as well, but the poor engine life made me think otherwise) and a huge part of that is definitely the doors, they just add so much to an already interesting car!

just wow, its amazing how something as simple as changing the shape of and the way the doors open can add just that much more personality and intrigue to a car, and make it look more like an art piece than something made in a factory One thing I do find interesting is that I believe an auto trend on doors is currently bubbling, with car designers looking to make cars look more and more futuristic and to flex their tech, bc lately there's been a bit on interesting/non standard doors now, even in SUVs! I resent a lot of the recent auto trends, but if suicide doors make a comeback, or even if automakers decide to try and reinvent such a thing, it'll be a welcome trend thats for certain :)

when pavitr prabhakar is showing off india to his new spidey friends there's this tiny moment where he goes like "and this is where the british stole all our stuff!" and i kid you not, not a single person in the theatre laughed. not even a chuckle. a theatre full of grown-ass british people were losing their shit over the "hole" jokes like a bunch of fifth graders but when they're reminded of their war crimes they clench their own holes so hard they forget to breathe

Okay listen, LISTEN... I love underdogs, but not just regular underdogs, I want true underdogs! I want the ones who are considered last choice amongst a large cast of underdogs. Socially awkward? Check!

Often pigeonholed as "dumb" or "goofy"? Check!

A tendency to latch onto someone else due to a lack of trust in themselves? Check!

A heart of gold despite it all? A natural tendency to prioritize the needs/desires of loved ones above their own? Double check!

Add on top of this the crippling anxiety!
