Marek and Chidi are the type of besties that have never been seen interacting in a public setting (Chidi gets nervous) but out of nowhere someone is like “hm wonder where they went” and text them if they’re free Friday for a hangout. Chidi texts back in the group chat “sorry. Can’t. Posting this doodle from my @drafthouse_doodles IG account, because this finale was so perfect. I cried through most of the damn thing, and I don't know the last time I could say that about a network sitcom.

The Good Place has been such a bright spot over the last few years, which have been incredibly hard. I'm not exaggerating when I say it has helped me strive to be a better person in this world with others having a go at the whole Existence thing.

The world is not the Trolly Problem, or justifying the means to an End, or even trying to do the MOST good in a lifetime. It's about trying to be better than the person you were yesterday. Galvanized through connections with other people. 

Again. All this and more from a 22+ minute sitcom. Thank you, Mike Schur, cast, and crew. I can hope that Everything Is Fine.
