Deep in the cold, lightless depths, past the Sea Kingdom and beyond the known continent, lives a ghost. None have ever seen them beyond a flash of colorless scales or a warning light from far away, but they fear this ghost of a dragon. How could anything live so far away from life, where the crushing depths and sucking cold would end any dragon? This ghost is often used in scoldings for rowdy dragonets.

when i think to myself about how simultaneously beautiful and creepy the deep sea can be, these adorable lil guys are alwats the first thing to pop into my head. though informally referred to as ghost sharks, these guys actually aren't sharks at all, though very closely related.

they look so... cute in a creepy way, if that makes sense 💜 i love them a lot

Yona probably has the most poise of everyone - Sidon is extremely excited to be an uncle (needs to be reminded he’s massive comparatively though), Tethys has no idea what he’s doing but is thrilled to have a mini-him running around, and Ponzu doesn’t know the first thing about interacting with children on this level. But if you gossip or say anything negative about Yona or her family, be prepared to meet a whole new side of her that you probably didn’t want to know.

And when Zenith isn’t trying to gnaw on people’s fins or tails with his little needle teeth or getting up to mischief with his dad in the night, he’s a pretty chill little guy.

if i were a bug id be a pseudoscorpion. some monk somewhere would open up a precious leather-bound book and id be in there all :0 face bc i hadnt seen light before. the book is about some highly specific niche subject. and the monk goes to remove me from the premises but then he looks at me closer and thinks i look quite polite actually and maybe the books can have a little bug in it. :)
