I'm curious! I personally really like CSP, but don't love that it is moving to a subscription-based model (and already is a monthly fee for mobile devices). I used PS a lot as a student, and have noticed it's basically the industry standard. If you do use PS, is it because you are in the field, or just have a preference for it overall? I did find certain aspects of it better/easier to use than CSP (masks, patterns, transformations, and filters for example), but I like the brush settings and asset management in CSP better. I've also seen a lot of folks moving to Procreate!

I have Krita and the tablet also comes with limited licenses for several art programs like Clip Studio Pro and Corel Painter Essentials.

I'm super excited to get to try this out! I know it's gonna be a bit of a learning curve but I got this! >:3c

Oh yay for laptop and drawing tablet!! I use Corell painter essentials for my digital drawings, and Ive heard good things about procreate, but there's also an infinite canvas program that allows for a ton of detail if that's what you're into too!

Also let me know if you're going to sell your stickers because I'd love to buy one

Finally! it’s done! Let me go into the process before I tell what’s going on in the drawings. Orignally, I was going to have just the first panel and then I thought, “Why don’t you make a three panel comic of this? You did it with Tangled, you could do again.” So I did. It was going so well until my computer starting acting weird while working on the sceond panel. It freeze on me and I had to wait for it to lessen a bit so I could save it. After restarting my computer, I found out the page didn’t come up when I got back in the program. (I use Corel Painter Essentials 6 by the way.) I was so upset I tried everything to recover it, but nothing was working. But all I had to do is to click on the previous save, it wasn’t too bad. I got to working on the stripes on Camilo’s ruana. Problem solved. THANK GOD!!!

Anyway....Camilo is thinking about his favorite food, aprepas and it caused his stomach to growl loud enough to alert Dolores, whose ears hurt from how loud the noise was. I have a thing about drawing characters hungry for some reason. It could be that I like eating and Camilo loves food, which is another reason why I like him.  I really hope you like it. This is the hardest piece I ever worked on and the first that left me really upset and thought I had to start over but don’t want to!

My computer had to do an update. That’s why it freezed.  Alright, I typed enough. Hope you like it!

Art programs you have but don’t use

That would be a very long list, I'm afraid. It's like hoarding art supplies I always intend to indulge in, but then just let them gather dust in the drawer ^^; Let's see, I have Krita, SAI (this used to be the program I used for everything, but I don't think I could reliably draw in it anymore), Corel Painter Essentials 6 (got access to it when I bought my Bamboo tablet a couple years back), Clip Studio Paint. If you notice, they are the more complicated ones which are just too much for my poor little brain. I'm not sure if Photoshop counts since I boot it up every now an then to resize my pictures and adjust some colours X"D Any attempts at drawing lags too much tho

I don't think it's all that subconscious, since any time I look around in my room some Mucha pictures come into view, but any time I reach for an airbrush as my main source of shading (it doesn't happen often, it's usually a struggle for me) it ends up looking a bit like that and so I try my best to lean into it (with various levels of success)

24. Do your references include stock images

Sure it does. My references include anything and everythig Google throws at me (I used sooo many stock images for my Din and Grogu on the beach drawing lol), but I also bought a few stock bundles for pose references if they fall into this category? They don't always turn up in my actual paintings, but I love doing pose studies from them, they are beautiful!
