A child, especially one so standoffish, would be relatively attached to Robin. She is a motherly figure, and her serene nature would be soothing. I like that Robin tries not to be so morbid around that crewmate.

Sanji would also be a great companion for a shy child. He knows how scary and unforgiving the world can be. I imagine that Sanji would take extra special care to soothe the child whenever they were anxious or upset.

Zoro is also great with the kiddo. As we all know, Zoro is inherently good with children, so he becomes their ultimate defender. He does his best not to pick fights with Sanji in front of them after seeing how uncomfortable fighting with Sanji makes the child.

Jinbe would also have a fantastic relationship with them. He’s such a solid guiding figure for anyone. He’s very fatherly and full of wisdom. Everything Jinbe says is purposeful, so I think he would significantly influence them.

The rest of the crew would obviously have a good relationship with the kiddo, but Robin, Sanji, Zoro, and Jinbe always stick out to me whenever I think of these situations.

There has been a time when Lucette’s children legitimately thought Sif was blood family and that they were part wolf. And anyone that tried to tell them otherwise was very much ignored.

Artorias had to be the one to explain to them that Sif was adopted, just like him. They don’t care tho. Auntie Sif is Auntie Sif.

convinced cursed is definitely going to give us some sort of allusion to eddie's feelings for buck, especially in the context of the jinxed to cursed pipeline and the return of the sperm donor storyline. like if that celebrity eddie is supposed to "get involved with" is in this ep and maybe its like an ana situation and the team will be teasing him, maybe bobby even has another dadversation with him about how one failed relationship doesn't mean he should stop trying, but either eddie says some very cryptic stuff about how she isn't what he's looking for, in fact, i don't need to look anymore, or bobby says something about happiness being right within his reach, right there in front of him, and this time eddie understands that its been right there in front of him all along, and if the woman asks him out and there's a subtle shot of eddie looking at buck (a la 311 when they look at each other after that mom asks if they're single). and then, of course, there's the potential of the cursed bracelet, of eddie not believing but buck getting hurt, however minorly, and eddie suddenly being convinced, maybe he half-confesses after buck gets another minor injury or just narrowly avoids another near death experience with something like it makes sense, if you think about it, buck getting hurt because i'm cursed, something about the universe screaming, and maybe a chimney tomorrow isn't promised to anyone intervention. and then, then!!!, you've got the return of the sperm donor storyline, eddie finding out and his intense scrutiny coming from a place of love, some sort of implication that buck is not just the backup plan for chris, a mention of the will, eddie trying to convince buck that he's not cursed maybe because he can't donate sperm, maybe because he's infertile, maybe because of his family history, and eddie turns the universe screaming line around on him, trying to tell buck that he's got a family right here whenever he wants it, a very heavy look as eddie says something like maybe the universe is trying to tell you something but buck being buck just asks if this means eddie believes in jinxes now...

With all the dad Reigen posts i feel like there's another approach to it we haven't taken yet: single parent reader.

Imagine Reigen is so infatuated with you but you might be a bit more reluctant to commit to anything serious bc you assume most would consider you already having a kid to be "baggage". Meanwhile Reigen is doing everything in his power to convince you otherwise; he wants to get to know you AND your child; he makes time for the both of you. He assures your child of how much he cares for the both of you and how seriously he feels about this.

As much as he wants to parent your child however, he's also so careful about crossing any boundary with you or them. He wants your kid to know that he'll be whatever they want/need him to be, and with enough love, patience, and trust building, they realize that they infact do want to be able to call Reigen their dad.

-I think it would be kind of weird. (Name) doesn't know anything about Luffy's biological family except for Ace and Sabo. Luffy probably didn't even tell (Name) in the first place. They probably found out about their uncles from Robin or Sanji.

-So when Garp just shows up (Name) is very confused. They're a little panicked by some guy with a navy coat fighting their dad, but Luffy doesn't seem upset and Zoro is still lounging so everything must be fine.

-"So this is the little scamp?" Garp asks, as he goes to ruffle their hair. (Name) kind of backs away, as by age ten or so, stranger danger has set in a little bit better. They naturally drift toward Zoro as he has always be their protector.

-Luffy laughs and does a highly informal introduction. After a few minutes of Garp mosing around the Sunny, (Name) gets more curious. They begin to follow him and Luffy around the ship. (Name) thinks their being sneaky but they are very much not being sneaky.

-Garp politely ignores them for a little while before finally letting (Name) approach. Robin comments about how it's almost like a game of cat and lion, instead of cat and mouse.

-By dinner time (Name) has warmed up to Garp and starts asking him questions about the World Government. As smart as they are, (Name) tries to drag their great-grandfather into a debate.

-Crewmates like Usopp, Chopper, and Jinbe, are sympathetic to Garp as they have dragged into debates with (Name).

-Over all the visit goes well but (Name) is somewhat suspicious of her great grandfather and his associate with the World Government, but over all things went well.

I do love the development of Artorias’ and Lucette’s relationship. Parade

Went to a theme park recently and had a blast but also had Jalim on my mind.  Especially Jalim as parents taking their little tyke to Disney World or something like that (may the odds be ever in their favor). So I drew some quick little comics on my phone’s notes app with my finger to kill time in line for rides.

Since it’s all messy (especially my handwriting):

DADVERSE

it’d been a couple of weeks since oliver had last seen michael - but of course, that hadn’t gone without oliver texting the man everyday at least 15 times a day if not more. they weren’t kids anymore, they had lives - and really busy ones at that - so of course they weren’t going to see each other every day, or speak all day everyday, but it was nice to know that he and michael had rekindled what they thought had been lost. they had a bond that was unlike any other and oliver loved that he had his best friend back in his life. were they best friends? what the hell were they doing? after the last time oliver showed up at michael’s house and stayed the night, well, oliver wasn’t sure if they were fuck buddies or if this was supposed to lead to something more, but he wasn’t going to look too much into it. michael had a kid now, who was incredible even though a right little shit too, and that was a big role to take on. playing the other ‘parent’ in a way. oliver wasn’t sure he was equipped for that, so he was okay with this for now he supposed. 

today though, oliver had texted michael and they both had a free day so oliver suggested that he, emmett and michael go to the park, have a little picnic and just enjoy the day while it was nice. the beach was overrated, and oliver wasn’t in the mood to have sand up his ass today. plus he had this cute little set up for emmett thanks to tik tok. ollie had managed to get a few things that emmett liked to eat - thanks to asking michael of course - and made him a disney themed lunchbox. little mickey mouse sandwiches, cubes of cheese cut out like mickey ears, he even put some fruits and little ant logs to go along with it. he had to say, to never had dealt with children, he outdid himself with this one. and of course, for the adults, there was a thermos of mimosas, a spread of cheeses, pepperonis, prosciutto, nuts, some grapes, brie cheese, crackers, some honey and pomegranates. he figured it was nice out why not make the most of it? ollie gathered the little plastic bins he’d put everything in and loaded them into his little picnic basket that had a bunch of blankets, and his car had a ton of pillows and other things to make their sit more comfortable and made his way out the door. he made his way to michael’s, knocked on the door and gave  him no time before he asked, “where is the best place to get kites?”
