When Daenys was still a maiden, she had a powerful prophetic dream, showing the destruction of Valyria by fire. In 114 BC, her father, Lord Aenar Targaryen, heeded her dream and sold his holdings in the Valyrian Freehold and moved his family and all of their belongings to Dragonstone, an island in the narrow sea off the eastern coast of Westeros. With them, they took five dragons, including Balerion. When the Doom of Valyria came twelve years later, House Targaryen was the only family of dragonriders which survived.

(For simplicities sake, I'll only mention the ones who have the last name Targaryen but I'll be skipping out on ones we don't know enough about from Daenerys of Dorne to Egg's daughters.)

Daenys - You hyperfixate on long dead characters who did 1 important thing that changed the history of the world.

Visenya - You want to bed her AND you want to be her at the same time. You heard "dark, sensual, unforgiving" and found it the sexiest description ever. You almost see her as a goddess rather than a person, you practically worship her.

once again fixated on how one of the most prominent markers of house targaryen is survival beyond all odds, against all opponents. daenys bringing her family to dragonstone, an old valyrian outpost; daenerys and viserys fleeing dragonstone to return to essos, the remnants of the valyrian power; daenerys in perpetual flight from braavos to pentos to the dothraki sea, once again surviving when she was expected to fade away, being reborn into the pinnacle of house targaryen as well as an antithesis to all westerosi nobility in the way she incorporates those they turn away from society, daenerys establishing herself as a mark upon slaver's bay, onto the histories of essos, surviving and flourishing.
