during the cloning arc of Danny, there's at least ONE clone that escaped without Vlad's knowledge. It was a bit more cunning and smart and knew that they had to get away.

The thing is, this clone Danny isn't a halfa at all, its a full on human. Alive and not half dead.

But it is sick and frail so when this clone Danny manages to get to the doorstep of Gotham, it was surprising.

lets call clone Danny as Daniel since it was the name that Vlad mostly used in his mutterings that Daniel caught on.

And while Daniel is in Gotham, sickly and lying on one of the rooftops, he met a vigilante with a red helmet.

"What the-?" Red Hood questioned when he saw Daniel's mouth dripping green blood or some kind of goop, which in turn reminded Red Hood of the Lazarus Pits.

"Who are you, kid?" Red Hood crouches down slowly to Daniel but the boy only turned his back on him, coughing and wheezing, "Hey! What happened to you?!" alarmed and confused, Red Hood shakes the boy gently. His fingertips could easily felt the cold coming off from Daniel's body.

And when Daniel stopped coughing, he faced Red Hood with a tired smile, "I'm fine." Daniel answered, "But I can't be here forever..." he added before coughing up some more of those green goop.

"Hold on, kid." Red Hood said, "I'll get you some help." but Daniel stopped him from leaving.

"Don't. I know when my time is up." Daniel said, "I'm just glad that I get to explore this far..." he wheezes out, "Don't feel bad tho... I'm just a clone..." Daniel stopped breathing.

And Red Hood thinks he's Tim's clone.

I drove back. I didn't know what else to do. He takes the pill for cancer. You can't miss a dose of prednisolone, esp on someone so small (I know the effects of prednisolone from when my arm was bad). Last time I was far away, camping last fall, Phoenix didn't take the pill from dad either. When i got back he ate it fine. This time. Last time I had to force feed it for a while which was traumatic for both of us. He usually takes it with pill pockets.

Next time if I go anywhere far enough I can't drive back and forth I may have to get some kind of fail safe-- like a pet sitter or. Take him to the vet tho dad didn't think he could catch him (he'd probably die of fright if he stayed at the vet for a week)

You stared at the picture in the darkness of your hotel room. You should've known. Everyone was talking about it.

Nyck has had a terrible rookie year so far. Knowing Marko, knowing Red Bull they needed more. More points, more perfection.

You couldn't say you weren't happy. You were happy. For him. You were elated.

Daniel loved racing. He had told you that before. You had felt it - every time he got into that Mclaren, every time he had done a better score than before.

He wasn't jobless. No. He could never be. Not till the day Christian Horner was still alive. You knew that.

You see the news yet?

You sat up on the bed. That empty feeling inside you shifted at the text.

The last few weeks were bad. Bad for Oscar. Bad for Mclaren.

Bad for you.

But who cared about that?

Oscar was good. He was very easy to handle. He was less trouble than Daniel.

The few people who cared about the fans' backlash had suddenly dropped to one. You were just a social media manager.

The moment you walked into the hotel your eyes caught him. Head thrown back with a laugh louder than the fans outside. Smile brighter than the Hungarian morning.

"Yn!"

All eyes fell on you as Lando waved you over from where he was sitting among the drivers in the lobby.

The world felt like it stopped as honey coloured irises met yours.

The eyes that once spoke forever to you, were cold, dark - they were trying to drown you in them, choke you with your own guilt.

You heart felt like it shattered into a million pieces as he looked away from you and turned back to where Max was sitting.

And the God's honest truth is that the pain was heaven

You could hear Lando saying something but you felt dizzy. Tears started to blur your eyes as that pounding in your chest grew louder and louder.

"I'll speak to you later Lando."

You forced your shaky voice to speak as your feet carried yourself to the elevator as fast as they could. But what your retreating figure could notice was the way he shivered.

Your voice still had an effect on him.

God rest my soul, I miss who I used to be.

The tomb won't close, stained glass windows in my mind

A sob erupted from your throat the moment the elevator door closed. Hot, steaming tears rolled down your face.

The wound won't close, I keep on waiting for a sign

A Short Cut to Your Heart !

- chap. 1: a haircut ?!

9 AM, 📍 dorms

danielle and hanni walks downstairs after fighting (aka. dani beating hanni up) for a straight minute, now getting along like each other's ride or die.

they split ways, hanni walks over to minji and haerin watching tv in the living room, and danielle walks toward a still-baking y/n.

walking closer, dani slithers her hands on her girlfriend's waist, making y/n yelp a little out of surprise. "i thought we already had enough cupcakes to go by?" she says, gently putting her chin on y/n's left shoulder.

"oh! hey didnt notice you there" y/n takes off her oven mitts and squeezes the locked arms on her waist "yeah but i kinda did the maths wrong... i forgot to include keehoo and soul to the list and i thought it wouldn't hurt to make more cupcakes for the group...." y/n pats her head while tilting her head in jihye's direction, making an expression.

"you could easily be korea's best baker but you couldn't do some simple maths addition?? im concerned for your bakery bussiness." danielle said unamused. "riddle me this y/n, whats 1 + 1?"

y/n groans, annoyed by her girlfriend's question "of course i know the answer to that, silly."

"then what is the answer?" danielle hums playfully.

y/n pretends to think for a second before answering "probably 3?" she says sarcastically, while slightly shrugging her right shoulder. "i dunno."

"drop the act you dummy. i hate you" danielle says while breaking their intimate contact, pulling away from her and slapping y/n's arm (softly, of course)

y/n giggles and turns to face her "you wanna help me give out all the cupcakes when this bad boy finishes cooking?" y/n pats the stove mentioned.

"ahhh!! about that" dani jumps as the realization hits her. "i was going to tell you.... im going somewhere with hanni for a few hours"

y/n raises an eyebrow.

"no funny business, we're just doing something~ can i?" danielle pleads. her puppy eyes shining, staring into y/n's pair.

y/n has her eyebrows furrowed at this point. "what about the cupcakes?" the baker's expression saddened. dani cups her face upon noticing the sadness in her eyes, worry takes over her.

"baby.... i'm sorry i'll have to miss the giveaway session... but i'll still be there to eat your yummy cupcakes after i come home? i promise" she kisses y/n's face all over, each time and every time inbetween her words, hooded eyes, nose, lips, cheeks, and her temple. y/n didnt mean to go this far in her acting.... but now she just feels like melting in the arms of the girl who's standing infront of her right now.

y/n actually uses her brain this time. should she let her go? its probably something urgent. y/n pouts while swimming in her thoughts.

but after what feels like a bajilion years of thinking y/n finally nodded. "pinky promise?"

"pinky promise." they link pinky fingers, smiling.

"don't take too long, yeah? what if i accidentally eat all of our cupcake portions while you're away."

danielle rolls her eyes and tiptoes to kiss her girlfriend's cheek. "i won't let that happen. but if you do, i swear i'll put you in a no kisses for a week lockdown." she began walking backwards while sending y/n a final sweet wink.

a blush spread across y/n's face but she manages to brush it off...

roger that, back to baking! she thought.

meanwhile... when danielle and y/n were talking

📍 living room

hanni plops on the couch beside minji. it sounds like her and haerin were talking about whatever was going on with their current guests (yeonjun, the guy that was ontop of the kitchen counter before for some reason, and soobin)

"hey minji i have news" hanni half whispers in her ear.

minji spun her head so fast. "hm? what is it?" haerin was also listening, curious about the tea hanni has to offer.

"so about danielle...." she starts off "she ...." hanni looks around the room. "she's gonna surprise y/n by cutting her hair and coloring it!!" she finishes off, ending in an aggressive whisper tone.

minji's eyes widen "when?"

"like, right now. we're about to go after she says bye to y/n."

"can i come with? i was also planning to get bangs and maybe color my hair." haerin half thought to herself.

"you can go next time with hyein and eunchae. didnt they say they wanted to get a trim too? these two probably need to go quick cause y/n might notice their absence" minji said, linking arms with haerin. earning an understanding nod from the cat like girl.

they end up all huddled up on the couch with the amount of time dani took. both haerin and hanni has their heads on minji's shoulder, gossiping mindlessly.

that was until danielle bursts the door open.

*bang* "rise and shine!! i still need to find my keys. lets go."

she grabs hanni by the arm. "hi minji unnie and haerin!" and she drags hanni out of the room. "bye minji unnie and haerin!" *bang*

the duo sat there speechless. both sharing a knowing look. "well..."

i have suffered. i have received unspeakable brain trauma. i have read sentences that i simply cannot unread. that's right, it's time for my chaotic review of verity by colleen hoover!

now i wrote an actual, proper review of this book that used paragraphs and real grammar, but this is tumblr. you're getting the bullet points, you're getting the sweary words, you're getting the dissolution of my sanity.

there's a lot of graphic and disturbing content in this book, so if you're bothered by that kind of thing, it might be best not to read.

the plot:

so our narrator, lowen ashleiggghghghg, is hired by this guy jeremy crawford to finish his wife verity's thriller book series bcus verity was in a car accident and is now profoundly disabled (can't move, can't talk, needs regular care, etc.)

she needs verity's notes and somehow ends up living in verity's house so she can spend literally all day going through verity's office. the only believable part of this is that a writer could be so disorganised that you'd need full days to try and go through all of their stuff

for some context, jeremy is apparently brooding (though i see like, 0 evidence of this) over his wife's accident as well as the deaths of his twin daughters chastin and harper

in verity's office, lowen finds a manuscript that looks like it's verity's autobiography

verity's autobiography starts as overly detailed jeremy smut and oh my fucking god i mean overly detailed i wish i could GOUGE my fucking EYES out this is just BAD PORN this book is like 90% porn 10% no-plot

anyway as this autobiography goes on, lowen is like. holy shit. verity is cuckoo bananas. she is OBSESSED with jeremy. she does that patrick star thing of "what do you when i'm at work all day?" "wait for you to get back :(". she wants to be jezza's ONLY focus and resents her daughters for taking his focus away

like, she tries to plan out her pregnancy so that she'll gain as little weight as possible, but then she finds out they're twins and she's like omg im RUINED and tries to miscarry and abort them

after they're born, she has a premonition of her daughter harper killing her other daughter, chastin (the only daughter she likes, verity fucking hates her kids but randomly starts loving chastin). chastin does in fact die of anaphylactic shock when she's around 8 and verity blames harper

jeremy won't fuck verity because he's so sad about his daughter's death, and verity is not having this, but through some twisted logic she's like maybe he'll be all out of grief if another daughter dies! so she kills harper and stages it as a canoe accident

back to lowen, she's reading this autobiography at an absolute snail's pace (like 1 short chapter a day) while also living with Hot Dad Jeremy (she's into him, especially after reading all that Jeremy Porn), this is most of the book tbh . a series of weird things happen that convince her that verity is faking her disability

lowen is also 100% convinced that verity is PURE FUCKING EVIL from this autobiography

fast forward, jeremy and lowen hook up (surprised pikachu face)

and yes, verity was faking being disabled, where is her OSCAR for that METHOD ACTING that fooled the HOSPITAL the NURSES for MONTHS!!! she didnt even flinch when lowen tried to startle her by literally throwing something across the room. daniel day-lewis is SHAKING

lowen shows jeremy the autobiography and jeremy starts choking verity

lowen is like, stop! they'll know u did it! think of ur son, he'll be fatherless!

actually you should kill him by making her puke instead so they'll think she just aspirated on her own vomit ;)

so jeremy does that instead because that's totally the most sensible option to do in this particular scenario

7 month timeskip and all is great because EVIL verity is DEAD and now lowen and jeremy can be together forever and they even have a new baby on the way bcus jeremy came inside her no condom and apparently every woman in this book is insanely fertile and gets pregnant on the first try

TWIST TIME!!!

they go back to verity and jeremy's house to finish clearing out their stuff

but... lowen finds a note in verity's room...

verity claims that the autobiography was just a writing example to help her write from an antagonistic perspective (her thriller series is notably written from the villain's POV)

jeremy found the autobiography and tried to choke verity to death, but when that failed, he set up her car accident, after which verity decided she had to fake being disabled so she could run away with their living son crew and eventually explain everything

but this plan is an F bcus shes fuckin dead now isnt she

so much effort and for WHAT

the book leaves us with the fucking stupid dry ass cliché question of: WHICH WAS THE REAL VERITY? WHAT WERE THE LIES? WAS THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY REAL OR NOT? and actually i dont give a flying fuck i was just glad to be done

my thoughts

the characters in the book make the most ridiculous and nonsensical decisions and trust me i can say that for sure bcus i have never made a good decision in my life

in the opening chapters, lowen witnesses a car accident & is splattered with blood on the way to her publisher meeting

she encounters jeremy (tho she doesnt know who he is yet) and he takes her to the men's bathroom of a coffee shop to get cleaned up

lowen tAKES HER SHIRT OFF IN FRONT OF THIS ABSOLUTE STRANGER

i am trying to ignore this red flag maybe shes just confident

jeremy proceeds to lock the door to the men's bathroom so that no one else can come in, and lowen finds this comforting! how chivalrous of mr sexy man jeremy!

WHAT THE FUCK LOWEN? HOW IS THIS COMFORTING? I'D BE FUCKING. I'D BE PANICKING SO BAD I'D BE OUT THE DOOR

later in the book we find out that lowen has a chronic sleepwalking problem and can even open inside locks when she's sleepwalking

she broke her wrist sleepwalking when she was a kid so it's not really safe for her to be able to get out and about while sleepwalking

jeremy offers to install a lock on the outside of lowen's bedroom door, so that she can't leave her bedroom without him opening the outside lock for her

instead of finding this FUCKING TERRIFYING

she's Thrilled by his generosity! wow! isn;t jeremy so kind and thoughtful?

lowen! LOWEN!!! GIRL!!!!!!!!!

lucky for her jeremy is apparently a nice guy so jeremy's fucking weird actions are glossed over and theyre so nice arent they... haha...

dude i wanna know what the fuck jeremy has that women are literally OBSESSED with him. hes so bland. he has no personality. he's a cardboard cutout of a man but apparently he has good dick idk

lowen is so besotted with jeremy that she doesnt think it's bad that he tried to kill his wife twice and then succeeded on the third try

no! it's actually so sweet because it proves how much of a dedicated father he is! he thinks verity killed harper so by killing her he's just being such a good and protective dad haha! murder is okay

there was also just way too much sex in this book like i said it before but truly i cannot encapsulate how much of this book was sex. and in case u were wondering about the quality of the sex, 50 shades author EL james is in the acknowledgements of this book.

how are people giving this book 5 stars? it's fucking. it's laughably bad. the plot is so stupid. the characters are boring. no-one makes a single good decision. jeremy is white bread. it's like, really really bad. i really need to know if the straights giving this book 5 stars need help, therapy, or jesus. if u do, please blink SOS in morse code, i will come and get u.

everyone who has a superiority complex because they've never read a single CoHo book is correct . u guys are doing great

i actually dont know if i can make a whole sentence without cursing arthur and john for what they did to oscar. like im seriously holding back here. two little bitches. hate them and their toxic codependent relationship. i hate hate hate everyone from malevolent. after that whole conversation at the bar, after arthur comparing oscar to him in the past and himself to parker, after he said he was glad parker didnt gave up on him....i dont know. im angry.

like, ok, ok, he feels like hes failing john! hes trying to understand whats making him act that way, hes trying to adapt, to make things better for him! he has regrets about yellow he wants to compensate now! but oscar was so wronged

like, come on, oscar regrets not killing father mckenna, he regrets that he tried to help but couldnt go to the end, and how that means that alexander could have been sent back to where mckenna was....and now arthur says he shouldnt drink because he had to help him and he hears him and hopes that he found a reason to keep going and follows arthur to a mysterious dangerous place! just like that! and then real action happens after he had his arm chopped off after he passed out from the pain and the blood loss.......man, he woke up with arthur talking and was able to open the door.....thats how much he was willing to fight. and then arthur didnt even told him why their partnership had ended. it was just like that, and he just accepted.

its alexander all over again, he couldnt go to the end and now hes out of the situation. and, yeah, its for different reasons, but the irony here lies in the fact that now, even when hes willing to die to not have any new regrets, he was stopped by something else. unless he still has a part to play in this story or other people, like daniel, interferes to help him, arthur honestly just left him to die. i know its a heavy thing to say, but considering how serious is his problem with drinking, and how this obviously wont seem like "a bad dream" when he wakes up, i think all arthur did was drag him to an even worst place

and, yes, i know it was not healthy for oscar to live just for arthur's sake, but healing is a process, and when he finally found someone who seemed up to helping him, that person left him behind on the same day, before it even started......like......come on AND ALSO, YES, i know arthur is doing it because it really is safer for oscar and i know john has his reasons and that they're complex ones but please dont ask me to look at nuance right now im depressed im angry and theres a fucking bar on the other side of the street from the hospital

MY JWCC S5 REVIEW ♡ SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

》 you have been warned ⚠️

》 to start off, WHAT A RIDE THIS SEASON WAS!!! theres lots of opinions, like the finale pacing etc, but tbh; with 12 episodes i think they did pretty well ending the show with the time they had! to me personally it didnt feel rushed at all, i actually wanted everything to pick up the pace so the kids could be happy and safe again 😭 with that out of the way, lets get to it!

》story & mr.kon

- s5 continues off right from the end of the previous season, where the camp fam meet Mr. Daniel Kon, Kenji's father!!!

- right off the bat mr.kon seems pretty trusting and relieved to see his son, but theres still hesitancy to trust him from the kids and quite frankly, the fandom as well. the kids out kash on all of his BS and mrkon rightfully so punishes him, and gets the kids to safety with food and SHOWERSSSS YESSSSS THEY CAN FINALLY SHOWER!! (kenji shaved and also brooklyn redyed her hair idk how) but at what cost.... its just too good to be true! ep1 is pretty tame, it gives the kids a break FINALLY and mae gets patched up!

- the story from then on goes to the kids doing their thing, sussing mr.kon out, rightfully so, while being torn on breaking kenjis heart abt the truth abt his dad and saving dinos, usual jwcc shenanigans ensue.

- I THINK MRKON WAS WELL DONE. his manipulation game is off the charts and he knows how to act fr, the way he can flip sides when hearing things he does not like in a second, he does it to kenji too. and hes not unhinged like kash, mr.kon IS the mastermind, hes very smart and knows how to manipulate kenji— its so heart breaking. in my s5 predictions post i said it could go two ways; mr.kon as an ally to the kids against kash, or mr.kon being the real enemy. LOOKS LIKE THE LATTER...

- my only gripe is i wish they showed more abt how mr.kon got this way— like was it the mothers death, or is it a trait that got passed down by his own father, or is it just simply greed?? who knows. its never really answered if he does care for his son or not? to me i think it was just convenient at the time for kenji to be around— i didnt see any signs mrkon ever showed affection for kenji when it didnt benefit him 😭😭 which is DEVASTATING. mrkon was out of the parenthood game fr...

- as usual, all the adults die fr but theyre badguys and death-by-dino is sick asf so i love it! EVEN KASH GOT GOT and that was sooo satisfying. mae was safe tho and as she should!!

- ok so apart of me really wanted mr.kon to get a redemption arc or smth— like a bigger bad makes him ally with the kids and he really bonds with kenji.. but then kash dies so im like "WELL there goes that possibility" and then i had hope for the investors to turn on mr.kon— nope they all died except for the lady IN WHICH the antagonist from jw:dominion comes in (the guy who runs biosyn i forgot his name) but then obv cant be possible bc they cant kill him off since he has to appear in his own movie... IN THE END, no redemption for mr.kon and fine. thats fine im fine.

- OK ill be honest MR.KON IS KINDA.. BAD OK? LIKE.. 😳 HELP IM SORRYYYY its just the way he grabbed kash by his the back of his neck and was "go back to whatever hole u came from" IT MADE ME FEEL SMTH A LITTLE OK.. he lookin for a stepmom for kenji or... 🤭.... IM SORRY HES AN ATTRACTIVE SINGLE DAD ALSO A VILLAIN, WHAT DO U WANT FROM ME 😭😭 i was taking notes while watching the season and if you see them its just me simping for mr.kon HELp

- ok ANYWAY the fact that he was legit willing to let the kids die and even LET DARIUS GET KILLED in front of kenji i knew... it was over..

"im on my period and i dont know what to do" you whispered berg quietly back. He put his hand up and said "y/n feels ill can i walk her to the nurse sir" the teacher said yes and you both went to a shop to buy you pads or tampons(or anything you prefer) once you had found a bathroom and sorted yourself out you wouldnt stop thanking him and apoligizing for wasting his time,be immediately told you to stop apoligizing and took you too his house to have a movie marathon and cuddle.

Eli/hawk:you get very hormonal on your period and perticularly today your emotions were everywhere and you was watching peppa pig(idk why lmao) but in the episode you was watching susy was just plain evil and you started crying like having a full mental breakdown and when hawk heard you crying he immediately ran up to you and asked you whats wrong "s-susy is such a bad f-friend" you said between sobs "whos susy?" Hawk replied in a very confused tone and you just pointed to the tv "are you being serious?" Hawk said which made you cry even more "n-no! Dont cry its okay i-uh susy is a horrible friend" he said trying to comfort you and you just kept crying ,when hawk caught on that you was on your period throughout the day he went to a corner shop and got you your fav/f and he got you some more pads or tampons(or whatever u prefer) and he tried to not say anything that would offend you or make you sad for the rest of the day.

Demetri:you and Demetri were cuddling in his bed with your head on his chest and Demetri was gonna pee himself so he sprinted to the toilet and when he came back he turned the light on and that's when he saw it the red stain under you and on your shorts "OMG-ARE YOU OKAY ARE YOU DYING?" Demetri was screaming at you thinking that you was dying and bleeding to death "please don't die" he nearly had a heart attack until you told him you was on your period "oh- I-uh are you okay?" Demetri was now as red as a tomato "yea but uh I need pads/tampons(or whatever your prefer) demetri went to the store to get you some but didn't know which ones you like or if you even have a preference so he texted you And when you told him what they looked like or the name he got them and bought you some snacks too. When he got back he washed his bedsheets and put new ones on and gave you some of his joggers to wear (which were really baggy on you) and then you guys are snacks and did a movie marathon of all your favourite films.

Robby:Robby would usually keep track of your period because he found it really stupid asking you all the time because you would get mad or sad at him cause of your mood swings so instead he just kept track and when he checked in the morning and saw you was due he bought some of your fav things and some pads/tampons(or whatever you prefer) because you was running out and then you guys chilled at his house and whenever you got a bad cramp he would give you a heating pad and massage your stomach.

Young daniel larusso:he knew instantly because you was always really sensitive on your period and would cry over the littlest things so he tried his best to not say anything that would make you upset or annoyed and when he did he would immediately not talk until you said it was okay for him to again and it might sound bad to others but you both knew it would stop unnecessary arguments and meltdowns for you both so you guys would just cuddle and watch films together all day.

Young johnny lawrence:Johnny knew what a period was but he never actually knew what it was if that makes sense so when you told him you was on yours he was very confused on what he should like if he should hug you or not touch you so he kind of did a mixture of both which was making you really upset because you didn't know why he was acting like that and confronted him after a day or two "Johnny why are you being like this?" You said randomly while you both were cuddling "what do you mean?" He answered back genuinely confused "well you keep being really cuddly and clingy and then you won't even touch me" Johnny knew exactly what you meant now and went bright red "I-uh I'm sorry I just didn't know if you wanted me to touch you or not i mean I've never had to deal with a girl on her uh what's it called?" he said "a period?" You answered "yeah! That's what it's called god that been bugging me all day" he said making you laugh "Johnny you can cuddle me if I'm on my period ,I mean like don't overdo it y'know just be how you usually are" "how I usually am?" He said kind of not believing you "yes how you usually are" you giggled. After that Johnny would act normally around you but he would still be extra kind to you because he knew that periods hurt from seeing you in pain from cramps before.

finished ugly betty tonight i am completely normal and not in need of psychological help rn

i am obviously so sad that everything was so rushed— the final episode felt like it could’ve been 10 episodes by betty standards AND I SOOOO wish it was. the betty and daniel slow romantic development would’ve been absolutely amazing to watch and its such a shame we never will get to see it, plus i think willie going back to connor was stupid and also no closure on tyler and clare BUUUUT that being said. despite it being horrifyingly rushed i literally think its the perfect ending

amanda reconciliation with her adoptive parents, finding her real dad, becoming a stylist and going single and ditching emotionally unavailable men (sidenote if we get a revival she should kiss more women)

marc getting an important promotion, dealing with the trauma of being rejected and abandoned by his mother for his sexuality, healing his inner child through justin and finding love-ish and recognizing his flaws

willie getting mode AS SHE FUCKING DESERVES!!!!! redemption arc, and she has marc by her side and everything is right❣️ wish we couldve seen a reconciliation with nico and renee though

hilda married and moving away from home finally! coming completely full circle from season 1 and losing santos. also wish we could see her working again maybe (i dont think we even know what bobby does for a living 😭)

justin having his times respected and understood, finding support in his family and marc. i love him so bad

daniel !!!!!! leaving mode !!!!! forgiving his mother, leaving behind stupid flings and trying to build his life on something HE worked on, changing completely from season 1, following betty, his heart. betty who saw everything that was wrong with him and still decided to stay and see the good 😭😭😭😭 then daniel calling her the sun, admiring her while also admitting he’s intimidated by her, protecting her, complimenting her, being a complete ass and realizing it AND CHANGING IT for her. realizing the way to love her is to let her go but not being able to look at her while doing it bc he cant if he does 😭😭😭😭 and then moving across the world to see her, going from boss to assistant with her who has changed him fundamentally and shown him what true love is i could actually die sorry the heterosexuals got me so bad with these two

betty following her dreams!!!!!!!!!!! betty working on something she’s truly passionate about!!!!!!! choosing what SHE WANTS INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES!!!! putting herself first!!!!!! being her own boss, standing up for herself, no more prioritizing others. leaving henry symbolizing that the old betty is gone, she loves who she was and she needed her to become this betty, but she’s different now. finding daniel when she’s changed but still the same in a way, still a spot in her heart for him 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 she will always have him back and she missed him 😭😭😭😭 she needs a new assistant 😭😭😭 IM GONNA KILL MYSELF

daniel and betty together in london as completely different people and in completely opposite positions from season 1 but still gravitating towards each other, reaching and finding each other in the midst of all this change because they know each other more than they know themselves like im sorry they are soulmates oh my god [dies a thousand deaths]

anyway i love this show so damn much jesus. with like 7 more episodes this ending could’ve developed so beautifully but im fr happy with how things turned out? ofc somethings i’d change like daniel burning the resignation form and calling her an “investment” (kind of makes sense in the context of the episode/arc because it was all about regressing to oldselves before changing but damn we didnt even get a proper apology from him, again probably for time reasons), but yeah in terms of where the characters should be @ this was honestly ideal to me.

i love this silly little problematic ass show and i never wanted it to end. betty is so dear to me and i will always carry her around inside of me my entire life, her bond with daniel is so special, wilhelmina is my queen and i live to serve her, marc and amanda are like my entire inner monologue at this point. ugly betty in general is so special to me and i never thought i would become so horribly attached to it. it was problematic as hell a lot of the times and handled others with so much love and care. it has so much heart. so, so much heart. i’ll love this show forever

Daniel saved Grace because he wanted to. If he stayed alive and saw their family dying, even the kids (he genuinely didnt give a fuck about those fuckers), he wouldn't blame Grace anyway. He wouldn't want to kill her, he wouldn't try to hunt her. If anything, he already believed all his family, including himself, deserve to die. He was that miserable and traumatized.

I genuinely believe that if he saw his entire family being blown up, but by the will of the devil stayed alive bc he actually tried to save Grace (and the devil finds it fun), he would've said a simple "Go." He would've told her to get out of there. He genuinely believed that Grace deserved better. The worst case scenario, Daniel would question why the hell did he stay alive when the only person in this family he genuinely cared about was Alex and now he died. He would've either tried to end his life then and there (after cursing at Le Bail, questioning on why, and still not getting killed even then. And I can even imagine Grace trying to protect him. Trying to convince him leaving with her, "We'll think of something. Daniel, please." Shielding Daniel from Le Bail.) Or Daniel would've become even more depressed & then it only depends if he finds reasons to live (and maybe seeks Grace out after a while, talking through this nightmare) or not.

But at no point in the story I think Daniel would've tried to hunt Grace down and kill her after he is so desperately tried to save her ("Alex might be in a wrong not to tell her, but do you remember how you reacted when I told you?"). Daniel tried to warn Grace at the very beginning but also didn't think it's his business (and he wanted Alex to be happy). It was very conflicting for him & I truly believe in him and his good personal treats. Also, Charity couldn't give a single fuck about Daniel and his well-being, only about the money, so why should I care? She didn't love Daniel and only insulted him again and again. Screw her.

What is the corruption?

oh hsjdjsgdf i didnt think you'd be interested in my silly curse concept, alright here we go

to sum it up, corruption is like what you call a parasite. they're like a black and blue goo with static-like effect to it. usually cover the sclera and mouth skull area, which makes the person look like they're smiling. they are also like another entity, as if there's another soul sharing the same body but traps you in so they could take over which was the case for jacob. the growth process of corruption includes the carrier / holder having repeated trauma or events that negatively affacted them, so in short if you've seen enough fucked up shit you may as well have a full grown corruption by then.

corruption has been around since the beginning of the wizarding era but often not noticed. though people usually mistaken them for an obscurus, but believe me they're not any similar.

what do they do u ask? well to say the least they're just like a wild animal living in a human body. they all have at least one talent that is usually feral like, survival or hunting. if the person hasn't awaken their corruption yet, their talent are usually much weaker compared to when it's awakened.

there are two kinds of corruption: corruption carrier & corruption holder. yes they sound almost the same but hear me out- corruption holder is the infected and corruption carrier is well, the infector. the holders are rarely seen due to how short their lifespan are, as for the carrier they usually end up,,,,,, throwing themselves off a cliff with their last bit of sanity in hopes of not continuing the corruption heritage. the only known corruption carrier bloodline revealed was the clark family, but it's unclear if there are other carrier families across the globe.

fun fact, their static goo is also their blood that were once red of course. they can camouflage themselves as ur common red blood cell but once you put fire they'll 'die' and turn back to their original color.

these static goos can also shapeshift, from a normal claw to a whole damn axe, though they're usually attached to the body part. hell, some corruption can duplicate themselves just to survive longer.

corruption holders like rakepick, ryu [shiratori] and burke all end up dead for they failed to eliminate their target as tasked. jacob is the reason of their death as he was the one who infected them. i wont go into detail into how they die but i can tell you its very brutal LMAO

is there a way to get rid of corruption? yes there actually is. there was a third kind of corruption that opposes them like an antidote but they're once in a lifetime situation. they're called purifiers. purifiers are a sort of corruption when the carrier/ holder with the purest of heart, mind and soul. it doesn't matter if you've lived through bad events or experienced them, as long as you're strong enough to break through the corruption barrier you're trapped in then you can evolve into a purifier.

the only con of this kind of corruption is that they have about a 2-3 week lifespan. for daniel's case [ not canon route] is that he was already dead when he turned into a purifier, which means he didn't even have the time to say goodbye before he turn into glowing ashes after 'getting rid' of jacob's corruption.

reasoning:

eleven: wonyoung, sakura, snd sullyoon were pretty obvious. not sure how i feel about dani but i wanted to stick close ish to the official lineup. mashiro & youngeun just make sense to me idk

hype boy: kazuha just makes too much sense there it's just her vibe idk. one of the only choices i'd die on a hill for

fearless: chaewon is one of the centers for this song so having her here makes sense to me. yunjin is also very prominent in this song, but i felt like chaewon has izone cred so she should act as the face for this moment. hanni & xiaoting are just servers idk, any other placement is a waste of their ability imo. i wouldve liked to see yujin-ahn yujin-xiaoting stage though.

o.o: kind of a convenience grouping BUT i do think it'd be nice to see lily-yunjin vocal slayage one day. i honestly didn't know where to put bahiyyih, but i think she does best with a medium sized group (so 7 is perfect). ideally there'd be a bright song here too and i think she'd fit that concept well

wadada: another semi convenience grouping oops. but i put dayeon here bc she has a lot of distinctive parts, choi yujin because if her popularity, and hyein because i needed hanni in fearless (sorry)

i'm not planning to do this (at least not yet) but the other group that's nominated for some rookie awards that's not here is billlie, so it'd be fun to see how adding them would shake things up. off the top of my head, haram could do eleven, and they would need to poach some strong vocals for ring x ring (im pretending they were full covers btw). in an ideal world though they'd choose gingamingayo instead if ring x ring and tsuki would stay as the center. sua would go to o.o & they'd make sheon do wadada to be mean.

B) What inspired you to create them?

Danielle and Isabella are olddddd non self insert oc’s but uh. insert oc’s of sorts in an anime that i was into in middle school that will remain unnamed to protect my dignity. Danielle is just supposed to be busty german wench and isabella is stuck up italian ballerina

Ki is from a comic/short story I made for fun and didnt show anyone in high school. He was very insignificant like sibling of a side character LOL

Jia I created for the arcana! Jia was bc I wanted someone who matched julian’s energy

Tilly i made as a side character for another otome game/dating sim called when the night comes .. which i used to blog about on here but there was soooooo much bad shit that happened with the devs and the company that i shifted her to arcana. i just think shes neat

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?

Ig in the context of the arcana Yeah because in many ways with the ways i pair my characters up with the LI’s i SO BADLY want everyone to be happy and be friends in the end but it proves very difficult to rationalize when danielle wants to bang lucio and he’s done crimes so 😭

the rest are fairly easy to rationalize though. they just click with whatever LI. Actually I lied bc jia was the Apprentice so she did the die and come back thing

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

if you scrollllll really far on my blog you can see some preliminary designs for jia and danielle? but the rest have mostly stayed the same

I increased danielle’s like. idk let’s just try to unpack some fatphobia in our art. she also just comes off as someone who likes how she looks and isnt rail thin and i aspire to be like that some day

i change jia’s hair every time i draw her IM SORRYYYY i just cant decide

everyone else is consistent methinks

HELLO WHISKEY I HEAR WE ARE DOING BLORBO TALKS. i have so many. unfortunately you will have to put up with me talking about danny ohantom <3 i was tempted to go with gillion but ill save him for another time. daniel james phantom the original blorbo ever.

i love you unintentional trans allegories. i love you ghost themed superhero. danny was a 14 yr old kid who got caught up in his ghost hunter parents' crazy machinery trying to open a portal between the real world and the ghost zone (where all the ghosts live) and danny accidentally turned it on WHILE HE WAS INSIDE THE MACHINE. and it kind of. well. ripped him apart. the boy literally died at 14 . but also he didnt die. he got stuck between two dimensions and it made him fucked up and gave him superpowers !!!!!

Something i absolutely love abt the show is that in season 1, dannys powers are still REALLY new to him and he doesnt know how to use them. he doesnt learn how to actually weaponize his powers until episode 4 !!! for a monster of the week type show where he literally has to Fight Something every episode, thats a long ass time spent not knowing how to fight things!!!! he does stuff on accident like turning invisible at random or turning intangible and falling through the floor/through an object and tripping. its so. painfully awkward teen and i love it so much.

hes still a snarky annoying quippy teenage boy, but hes also scared. he doesnt know what the hell is going on ever, and the only person who has any idea what hes going through is another half-ghost who is. literally his arch nemesis!! actively trying to kill his dad!!! he cant go to that guy for help!!! but also theyre the only two people like this in the whole world so there is plenty of "we're a lot more similar than you realize" on both sides. augh.

luckily !!! he has two friends (Tucker and Sam) who were there with him the day of the accident and know everything about his powers. so hes not totally alone. and later on his older sister Jazz figures out his identity and has the mindset of "im not going to confront him about this, he'll come to me on his own terms" and instead helps cover for him with their parents behind his back :] and he does go to her about it eventually!! and she becomes part of the team!!! the sibling dynamic is so real. Jazz is so annoying sometimes but so is danny theres a really good balance of "siblings annoying each other but if you try to hurt them ill kill you" energy.

do not look at the dp fandom theyre all wrong about everything ever. the show is not full of angst 24/7 its actually very lighthearted and funny and fun to watch despite the. tanked writing in later episodes !!! however the premise is literally a teenage boy getting ripped apart by the ghost dimension so naturally the implications are. well. you know.

ANYWAY!!!!!! ghost boy forever. <3

MACCC I LOVE WHEN U TALK ABT DANNY PHANTOM!!! i didn't watch much of it but i watched a handful of episodes and yeagh that is guy goin thru Problems right there!!! my beloved blorbo in law <3 u go u funky lil teenage boy who got ripped apart by a ghost dimension and literally died at 14 but also didn't die <3 FUCKED UP PREMISE!!!LOVE THAT THE SHOW IS SO LIGHTHEARTED ABT IT!!!! that's so funny. making a comedy out of something fucked up <3

thoughts after watching ftwd s8a for the first time:

- love how morgan and madison bickered idk

- madison reuniting with ppl (daniel, june) was very fun

- I like moe

- the padre reveal was underwhelming like.. the twist that it was actually two siblings in charge of a place instead of a parent felt like a twist for the sake of a twist idk

imo it's more interesting for it to be a parent who lost a child and then ended up coping with it by creating a place where he takes kids and in his mind thinks he's keeping them safe and making up for failing his own child/children.

it makes sense for siblings to continue what their dead parent was doing only for it to end up twisted into something awful like padre too for sure, it's just not really my fave thing ever idk

- also the fact I have no attachment to either of the characters in charge of padre doesn't help like.. I do not care about either of these ppl at all. woulda been more interesting if it was revealed to be someone we knew. not sure who tho. I know some ppl were speculating it was troy a while ago but I don't think I woulda liked that at all so I'm glad that didn't happen

- going back to king county was cool

- I knew grace was gonna die bc I read it on the wiki but it still made me sad, I liked her

- morgan putting grace down to save moe nearly made me cry

- sherry and dwight having a full on child together is so weird to think about. I think bc he was born in the timeskip it feels like he came out of knowhere lmao

- morgan going searching for rick makes me feel so !!! surely there's no way that's not been done on purpose right like... at some point everyone is gonna reunite and morgan and moe are gonna be there.. RIGHT?!

- morgan touching the grave and all the ppl popping up nearly made me cry

- the end scene!!!! my boy!!!!

- pulled this out my ass so its very possible ive forgotten some thlughts i had. overall I think this half season was fine? idk, really liked some of it, didnt feel anything about some of it, disliked a bit of it. looking forward to part two A LOT it looks better than almost all of the last 4.5 seasons lmao
