Zone Royalty 3.2.23
DP x DC. Danny Phantom, Clockwork, Wonder Woman, John Constantine, Shazam.
So, Clockwork is Kronos! Also, the Infinite Realms include all the various afterlifes and hells (there are a lot of them), which means one of the lesser kings in attendance when the High King/Ghost King calls a meeting of Important People, is Hades.
Now Hades doesn't know anything about the new Ghost King, but Danny calls a meeting, so he attends.
And then in walks Clockwork.
Now, the ancients are supposed to be like advisors to the King, but everyone knows why the ancient of time never shows up. He's kinda, ya'know, a little supposed to be imprisoned. As soon as the meeting is adjourned Hades rushes back home to tell the rest of his family that Kronos is free, and they all panic and end up contacting their mortal agents and intermediaries, because, well, none of them really want to risk going 1-on-1 with the titan of time. Which is how the Justice League gets involved and sent to investigate the situation.
So Diana, Shazam, Constantine, and a few others end up making their way into the Zone and going to look for Clockwork. He's pretty easy to find actually, he's hanging around Danny, and finding Danny is just a case of following his rouges. Now they just need to find out what he's is up to. Is he going to attack Mount Olympus and try to retake his throne from Zeus? Is he going to try to reignite worship of him on earth?
And Constantine is like; I don't know what to tell you, but That Is A Ghost. He looks like a ghost, floats like a ghost, radiates ectoplasam like a ghost, and freaking purrs like a ghost. He's not a god, he’s a ghost.
Or; leave a dead guy (even a god) in the Ghost Zone long enough, and, big surprise, he turns into a ghost.

Isobel: that- Glaive… I… I remember it- I remember… *looks from the sorrow glaive to Halsin, remembering a crown of madness overtaking her mind and her charging to attack the druid, leading him no choice but to wield his weapon up in self defence* how I died…
Tav: I… are you saying- Halsin killed you?
Halsin: I did… and for it ketheric unleashed the shadow curse as per Shars wish… it is a guilt I have harboured for a century…
Isobel: it- wasn’t his fault. I attacked him first but- I can’t remember why- one moment we were on each others side against my fathers army and then… it was like my mind wasn’t my own. *smiles up at him* there are no hard feelings on my end.
Halsin: but there is a heavy grief left in my heart… my actions lead to ketheric unleashing that unspeakable curse. And with it thaniel was torn from Oliver, countless lives taken… and all from blood spilled by my hand.
Isobel: … *reaches up and hugs him tight* you aren’t responsible for my fathers madness.
Halsin: … *sighs and hugs her back* and get forgiveness does little to ease the ache in my heart… but I thank you for it, Isobel.

if sasuke was the main character then he probably would've been a LOT more sympathised with than he is now (which is to say rarely). like the narrative wouldn't even need to change to show his pains or 'his side of the story', bc it does that plenty. it's just that he is not the main character. and idk what it is about our human minds but we tend to sympathise with main characters automatically (unless ofc you go off the rockers insane and do something like obliterate almost everyone from the planet *cough* eren yeager *cough*)
an instance that comes to my mind where this does happen is with lelouch from code geass. while i don't agree with his character motivations, people generally do sympathise with him as he is the mc and as viewers we know he isn't inherently evil. sasuke's goal towards the end is slightly similar but ofc people love to hate him so they don't even try to understand where he is coming from.
my point is, most people while engaging with the naruto story don't read between the lines and so don't see how traumatised and in pain sasuke is and hence don't understand his character motivations. heck, they don't understand a single bit about him and so they automatically hate him, as he is supposedly going against the main character's goals.
which is really sad given all that he has been through.

FREYA (a deity deep dive & some UPG)
Tumblr media
⚔️Who Is Freya?⚔️
Freya is a Norse goddess of war, love, beauty, sex, pleasure, magic, and so much more! Its very hard to summarize the extent of her powers, and what knowledge remains of her through artifacts and myths suggests she was once as complex a deity as Odin (bearing many alternate names and ruling over so many aspects of life). I took inspiration from @coinandcandle for the layout of this post. Hopefully that isn't a problem! If I get any information wrong or site sources that someone else discovers to be unreliable, I am open to feedback! Note: some of this is UPG, and I'm very clear when I'm stating UPG. If there's any confusion, feel free to message me!
⚔️Parents & Siblings⚔️
-Njördr (Freya's father, a Vanir god)
-Njördr's Unnamed Sister (Freya's mother, who some scholars speculate is Nerthus, yet it remains a mystery)
-Freyr (Freya's brother, a Vanir god)
⚔️Significant Other⚔️
-Odr (Freya's husband, a mysterious wandering god who is suspiciously like Odin)
⚔️Children⚔️
-Hnoss (Freya's daughter)
-Gersemi (Freya's daughter)
⚔️Epithets⚔️
-Hörn (meaning "flaxen", probably in reference to her hair)
-Gefn (meaning "the giver")
-Syr (meaning "sow" a creature that was associated with fertility like Freya)
-Valfreyja (meaning "lady of the slain", as Freya is the goddess who picks and rules over half the slain warriors in her hall Sessrúmnir, in the field of Fólkvangr.)
-Mardöll (meaning "sea-brightener" or "one who makes the sea shine") Note: I always think of her making her father Njördr proud, as a way of making the sea shine, but that is UPG.
-Vanadis (meaning "Vanir goddess")
⚔️Important Notes⚔️
-Freya is famous for her beauty, and her lavish taste. An example of this is her iconic necklace Brísingamen. She acquired this necklace by sleeping one night with each of the dwarves who made it. In return they made the necklace (which is said to have been gorgeous and forged out of gold with amber beads).
-Something that also confirms that amber and gold are sacred to the goddess Freya would be the story of how she cries tears that turn to gold when they touch the earth and to amber when they fall on the sea. Its important to note that she cries these tears for her husband Odr who has not returned in a long time from his wandering journeys. Below is a picture of the famous artwork that depicts her tears by Gustav Klimt:
Tumblr media
-Oh, and Freya rides a chariot pulled by cats. Pretty cool, huh? The original cat lady. Cats are sacred to her, so if you want to honor her be sure to treat feline friends with extra respect and adoration!
-When she doesn't ride her chariot, Freya is said to ride her boar into battle. The boar's name is name is Hildisvíni (meaning battle swine).
-Freya possesses yet another treasure: her falcon cloak. This magical cloak of falcon feathers helps her to fly with the ease of a falcon. Therefore, its safe to say that falcons are sacred to this goddess.
-Despite being a goddess of sex and pleasure, Freya is not easily won over. The myths reveal she wont just sleep with anyone. Many giants sought to steal her away and wed her, yet she never caved and slept with someone she didn't see the benefit in sleeping with. In my UPG, she is a very independent goddess.

I was going to make a joke about these being the shittiest Inari fox statuettes in the history of Shinto, but you know what? I think I did a pretty good job! Especially considering I made them from scratch out of Fimo dough using a fork, a paperclip and an eraser.

𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄. Still, it doesn't mean he hasn't a lovely view on it. Romance, courtship, and all the doting involved has been a long, devoted, and complicated chapter—chapter, I say very pointedly; the experience is singular. Gale, a prodigy, had won Mystra's interest when he was still a boy, and when she came before him with her showering praise, the very impressionable Dekarios was eager to please. He'd always high standards, of course, insurmountable dreams even then in his first-year lessons, but to impress the goddess of all things magic? There in his youth, the delight was worth more than kingdoms of gold. As he got older, that fixation deepened when Mystra took even further interest in him, and soon enough, once she deemed him ready, she made him her Chosen—and vapidly, of course, her mortal lover. The rest, you know. Gale, enchanted by Mystra longer than he knows, has no personal experience with genuine romance. None. He's attended family weddings, grows warm when he hears sweet ballads and lovestruck poems, but tales of butterflied-bellies and finding courage for dates? Those aren't his stories. His goddess took all that. She was his first in everything, a 'romantic' tale more a thesis on devotion and too-skewed power, and all things Gale does, he does because he doesn't, hasn't gotten. In other words, the romance he offers is the very romance he craves. Achingly long stares and lingering kisses, unyielding fondness and the whole of his heart—he gave that to Mystra. He'd give that to you. And long robbed of it all, he can only care dare to want it in turn.
