fav troll is such a hard question... obviously i love vriska, i'm her, but i feel like that's kind of cheating ::::P for the same reason i'm not counting terezi, that's my girlfriend of course i like her

but i am actually a huge eridan and feferi liker! recently a fanart i made of them for a zine apparently got shared around? i'm happy it did, this thing took me like... 7 hours straight with no pauses because i did it as part of a jam... but yeah they're the trolls i draw the most apart from vriska and terezi, so i guess that means they're my non-kin-related faves!

i can't exactly explain why i love eridan, because if i'm honest my attachment to him mostly stems from having terrible taste in men as a teen. at the time if you gave me a terrible sadboy i was automatically like "yes yes this one will be my favorite forever", and ARGUABLY that's still the case. i kinda fell out of love with him over time, but his GENIUS pesterquest route really did something to my brain and since then he's one of my faves again.

feferi is a case of, i used to like her by proxy of liking eridan? but i now honestly just love her as her own character. she's just so fun and she loves her friends and she's kinda shitty sometimes but in a fun way only a teen girl can truly be? big fan of a girl with a direct hotline to the horrors that lurk beneath.

Status is: Should be done before the end of the year, but can't promise much more than that. Life is incredibly hectic right now (like, you would NOT believe the incalcuable shitstorm going on rn IRL that I haven't been talking about online), but I'm hoping to keep to the same timetable as I did for Inky Paws #1.

last thing i googled: I'm cheating a little because the last thing I googled was for work and I don't want to dox myself. The last thing before that was "hbo zone west." The story behind this is that I have a pen pal in prison, and he can't get a schedule for what HBO is showing between midnight and 9am, so I look up the schedule every week and send it to him. The last search I did for myself was "turtwig evolution." I always forget Torterra's name. (technically the last thing I googled was "how do I see the last thing I googled" because I thought you did it just by clicking on the blank search bar, but I don't think these are in order? Because I'm pretty sure the last thing I googled before work was "chub play fetish." Boy wouldn't it be embarrassing if I admitted that. ARE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? My deadname was a character in a show called Soap, which was a comedy show making fun of soap operas. But everyone called me by my nickname, Cory, which is what my legal name is now.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Last year, at a performance honoring the life of Matthew Shepard. Last week, I got choked up at an event where kids performed spoken word poetry and they talked about police brutality and being misgendered and shit.

DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Never

WHAT SPORTS DO YOU PLAY/HAVE YOU PLAYED? Never. Well, ok, I did ride horses. I guess that's a sport. But the important thing was ponies.

DO YOU USE SARCASM? Rarely these days. I'm not very good at it. And it's mean.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Their voices. I'm face blind, and I associate people with their voices first. Then I start to notice their hair and clothes.

DREAM JOB? I guess I have it?  I work part time for a non-profit in a  customer-facing position. I'm good at customer service. And non-profits are sometimes less evil. I actually always wanted to work for a non-profit when I was younger. Also, I can get away with being brutally honest with customers when they suck. The only thing that would make it better is if it paid enough that I didn't need help from my mom for like, groceries and stuff.

Last song: I was listening to a Kesha playlist at work yesterday, not sure which one was the last song. Tik Tok perhaps?

Last show: uh... I literally do not remember what the last thing that wasn't a youtube video I watched was. Probably a cartoon on Netflix. I remember watching a Spider-Man one on there it is hilariously awful.

Currently reading: Marvel Masterworks Golden Age Marvel Comics Vol.1. They are weird and I love them for it, The art the pacing, every woman is named Betty. Some of it has not aged well (like the "natives" in Ka-Zar. Yikes. ) but they were written in 1939(??) The Angel is boring and it's no wonder why he hasn't stuck around. Ka-Zar is also boring. It's just Diet Tarzan. Marvel should revamp Ferret. That guy is a typical Private Detective and solves crimes and mysteries but occasionally his pet ferret leaps out and attacks the criminals. Imagine how much crazier that could potentially be in modern comics with more emphasis added on this guy's crime-stopping pocket mustelid. But Sub-Mariner(Namor) and The Human Torch are fun to read. Also there are extremely short stories in these old anthology mags. Like 1 and a half lages long.

Current Obsession: uh... Marvel Comics. >>; I keep buying variant covers to decorate my bedroom wall with because I like the art! Oh and Breyers, too. I recently got a decent price on some of the Black Beauty's Family set. I really only bought it for Merrylegs. Who is usually like $40+ by itself plus the outrageous shipping :/ Like wtf. Anyway his ear has broken off but that's super fixable with Milliput. AND I got 3 other horses plus 1- random tradition sized foal for about what I woulda paid had I bought Merrylegs by itself from any other Ebay seller.

well i'm a wolf therian but i feel like i've been a bit domesticated so i call myself a dog. and ive worn glasses since elementary school so i kind of see them as a big part of my style. so when i was changing my url some years ago (my previous one was malt-o-meal, iirc, but the tag function on this site isn't great with hyphens, so i wanted something easier) i picked dogwithglasses!
