Can we acknowledge how sweet Desire and Despair’s relationship is?? Like you’d think with how Desire acts, they’d hate being a twin to the anthropomorphic personification of sadness—but no! They call Despair “my love” and “sweet sister” and it sounds genuine, unlike how he sarcastically calls Dream “big brother” and “sweet Dream.” She’s their partner in crime and loves talking to them, and leaned into their touch when they stroked her hair. Desire is excited to tell Despair about Rose, and Despair gets excited when they tell her. It’s just such a lovely relationship!

After watching Good Omens Season 2 and seeing Donna Preston playing a more boisterous character than she did in Sandman, I imagined a different casting situation where she played Desire and Mason Alexander Park played Despair.

My problem is this - I can find plenty of pics of Donna where she's beautiful and sparkling like Desire is, especially from her playing Mrs. Sandwich in GO2, but I can't find a photo where Mason looks despairing. I love their smile, but I'm realizing this idea of mine may not be as inspired as I thought :P
