Dr. Atl - Carmen Mondragón (Nahui Olin), ca. 1922
Nahui Olin was born María del Carmen Mondragón Valseca in Mexico City, the fifth of eight children in a wealthy military family. She began writing poetry and prose while living in France, between the ages of four and twelve. In 1914, she became part of Parisian artistic circles when she returned to live in Paris, after she married Mexican diplomat and painter, Manuel Rodríguez Lozano (1891-1971) in 1913. The couple returned to Mexico in 1921 and remained in an open relationship until 1922. In 1921 she began a long-term relationship with the political activist and painter Gerardo Murillo (1865-1964), better known as Dr. Atl (the Nahuatl word for “water”). Also inspired by post-revolutionary desires to publicly assert connections to indigenous culture and past, C. Mondragón Valseca changed her name to Nahui Olin in 1922, a Nahuatl reference to renewal and the sun’s force behind the cyclic rhythm of the heavens, a symbol of earthquakes and change. (source)

Love how Tales 2 looks a bit like an Atlas ass-kissing fest.
I really hope it isn't, but i wont hold my breath, considering what an ass-kissing dest BL3 was.

Sooooooooooo :)
Toymaker Fuse. As you might imagine, he makes toys. But this is Fuse we’re talking about, so it would never be that simple with him.
He “makes toys come to life”. To outsiders not in his laboratory of mistakes and things that should by all means not be living, it’s just a tagline.
Fuse has taken many years in his life studying magic and whatnot, and has finally learned how to make the non-living come to life.
He of course uses it on a good handful of toys he’s built, and is quite curious to see if they feel like humans or other organic beings do. So of course, in comes the fucked up experiments on living beings of which he has no remorse for.
It starts getting even worse when he drugs and kidnapped people into his lab to begin experimenting on them as well. Replacing parts of their Body’s with toy equivalents and seeing just how far he can take it. Many patients had died before they’d become even half toy. Fuse has of course experimented with this on himself.
And of course, GB is back again :) again as Mutt as well. His body being replaced with parts of a small Zoroark plushie, magic being used to fit the parts to according sizes to his body. Most notably his legs, left arm, and left side of his face have been replaced with pieces of the Zoroark plushie, his left eye Being reduced to a large red sewn-on button. (I might change it to be his right arm instead of left for character designs sake.)
Also, perhaps as more and more parts are replaced with toy, the “essence” of the original toy (or, if it’s multiple toys, all of them amalgamated-) begins to take over the lingering human parts of the body.
Dragonite girl is here too! It’s safe to assume all of the fusions in DTDF are going to be in the Toymaker’s Lab. She had her legs and forearms replaced with those of a Dragonite action figure. The antenna, tail, and wings of the figure were all also attached. All of her body eventually become jointed like a puppet. An interesting side effect of the essence of the toy taking over her body was that her ears turned into a second, smaller pair of wings.
There’s still a lot of kinks I need to work out of this AU, but I’m liking how it’s coming along so far :)
(And if you couldn’t tell already this AU was very much inspired by I’M SANE by AXIE)

I've realized I never introduced myself. My name is Nia (Nee-ah not Na-ah or Neil 😑). It's exactly like Nia Long.
I have been a shifter for a year and have been posting on here since August of 2022 I think.
My pronouns are she/her.
I'm 16 years old. Which I think a lot of you didn't know. I'm a Scorpio.
They say my mbti is Intj but I don't believe it.
Born and raised in the ATL.
I'm black.
I use this account to say bullshit and complain.
I'm 1000% sure I'm permashifting so y'all aren't going to get shifting stories from me cause once I'm gone I'm gone ✌🏾. I rapid post sometimes. So I post a lot in one day so if you get notified of it that's my bad. I type how I talk so some things might not make sense.
