Clefdraki: Oh god it’s so bad. Basically hated each other for years. Just had a completely different set of moral guidelines. Alto “I worked for a place that killed primarily human anomalies for years” Clef and Benjamin “I get attached to any anomaly despite my incredibly cold exterior” Kondraki. They’re old men romance that’s done so well. Like, they both get better as people and that seems to draw them together. It’s great Blupjeans: fantasy nasa astronauts stuck in a functional time loop together spend 47 years slowly falling in love which culminates in them playing a beautiful duet with stunning narration about learning how to care for each other and be cared for (and then a couple more decades after that they rip their souls ouf of their still-living bodies to become terrifyingly powerful undead abominations together for eternity and it fucking rules) >:) Also Lup is canon trans so that rules too

And so, in my opinion, few people expected this. Just a couple of days ago I was talking with a friend, discussing topics for rp and sometimes with canon characters. For some reason, I suddenly got the idea to look into Ben Kondraki's personal file to find the answer to the question "Why does Kondraki have such a strong connection with butterflies?" Just to make sure that there is still no answer and it is worth thinking about the theory. HOWEVER, INSTEAD OF SEARCHING IN THE BROWSER, I DECIDED TO SEARCH FOR SOMETHING THROUGH THE SCP WEBSITE. Well... Ta-dam. With the first submission, they sketched out a story for me. Before reading, my friend and I decided to read about SCP-7408 and... My God, what did I stumble upon. I was looking for gold, but I found some kind of diamond! Of course, given that this was the canon of this author, there were some inconsistencies in places, but damn, this thing helped literally cover up the plot holes of the past. About Ben's past, i.e. about his parents, his relationship with them, the fact that he had a relationship with a guy (Hugo) before his wife, what kind of assistant he was, etc. Sorry, damn, HE EVEN HAS A TWIN! I even thought about looking up her design because I was sure someone drew her. AND YEAA, IT IS! So I decided to make design too, based on the design of the author whose character design I found (made in life size). What else is in this story, that is, there is a small indirect (or direct) confirmation of the existence of Death. Perhaps not in the way we thought, but in general, why not think about it. And most importantly, with the help of these butterflies you can close the plot hole about why the butterflies are so attached to Kondraki. Not only that, as an assistant, he, in principle, behaved condescendingly with them on his own, but further explanations themselves led to the conclusion that Kondraki himself was an anomaly, but not by birth, but precisely because of these butterflies.

IN SHORT, PEOPLE, READ FOR YOURSELF. I recommend it for study. This object closed many “holes” for me regarding Kondraki’s life. There are nuances and questions, that’s true, but overall, a lot has fallen into place with this object.

Okay, now take a look at this design. Perhaps someone else drew it, I don’t know, I only found one author from whom I took a reference. I'd love to see others try to imitate her! (+ I used headcanon. Sorry not sorry.)

It’s great Junepei: i am horrible at explaining things so sorry in advance: childhood friends, they get separated, like 10 years later they get thrown in a death game together, survive, get separated again, get thrown in another death game, survive, depending on which timeline they end up following they either get married or get separated again and junpei spends the next like 40 years searching for her where again depending on timeline (and through yet another death game) he either never finds her, finds her dead or finds her alive but entirely focused on her plan to save the world from this awful disease with timeline jumping stuff so they never get their happy ending in those ones
