Its kinda a school trip! surprisingly nice for it being funded by the school too maybe because kalim and Idia are there. The resort is close to the beach and they were able to walk there!!

OR!! I had two ideas and I wanted to let you choose!! so just stick to one!!

💖🧡 The airport is not that bad.. (mr mcsocialanxiety is the comforted, can't blame him airports are scary as hell)

~ setting - all the fun of getting through security, waiting for the plane (and probably eating and grabbing more snacks) and getting on the plane and finally settling in!! (rich boy got first class cause he would have a heart attack sitting by anyone that he didn't know)

definitely think that is his first time being in an airport and on a normal plane and not being personally shuttled around by a styx vehicle

Scenario: You're on the beach with your group, trying to convince Idia to hang out in the sun.

A/N: You're totally fine, Edie! You can always request the second scenario once I'm done with this request :) Also, I'm trying out a new format so let me know what you think!

"Come on, big brother!"

You looked over to your right and saw Ortho hovering underneath a large umbrella propped up in the sand. Idia was sitting cross-legged with his sweater unzipped, slouching as he played on his switch while Ortho was attempting to convince him to come out from under it.

"Please?" Ortho pleaded desperately. Kalim, who had just come back from splashing around in the waves, ran up to you with a big smile on his face. "Y/N, do you want to come swimming with me?" He asked. "The water's nice and cold!"

You couldn't help but smile back. "In a minute, Kalim. I'm going head over to Ortho and Idia for a second." You said, standing up. "Hm?" Kalim looked over at the flame-haired brothers with a curious look. "Are they not going to swim either?"

"I don't think Idia even wants to come out from under that umbrella, let alone go swimming." You said dryly. "Though I'm curious what would happen if their hair got wet. Since you know, it's fire."

"I'm curious about that as well, actually," Jade spoke up from behind you, causing you and Kalim to both jump and spin around in surprise. Floyd, who was standing behind his brother, had a devious smirk on his face. "Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to scare you two." Jade said.

"It's fine!" Kalim said cheerfully, then added, "But I wouldn't want to embarrass them both by splashing water on their heads!"

You nodded in agreement. "Yeah... we are kinda lucky that Ortho managed to drag Idia along in the first place. Plus, since Ortho's basically a robot, wouldn't the water damage him since he's almost all mechanical?"

Jade thought for a moment. "I guess you both make valid points. Maybe we should simply help Ortho get Idia off that electronic of his and get some sunlight."

"Awww, boring! I'm going back out there!" Floyd huffed, indicating to the water. He scowled and stomped back to the shallow water, making his way further out. Jade chuckled. "Despite his age, he still acts similar to when he was a little mereel."

"I bet you two were so cute as little eels!" Kalim exclaimed. You were a little dubious about that statement but simply nodded. Jade smiled. "Thank you. Now then, I believe Ortho needs our assistance." You and Kalim nodded.

You led the way over to the rainbow umbrella, where Ortho was still trying to convince Idia. "Go out in the sun? And get sunburned? Nuh-uh, no way. Besides, I have to guard this so it doesn't get stolen." Idia said, holding up the switch. Ortho had a frown on his face and he made a movement similar to stomping his foot in the air, his hands momentarily clenching into fists.

"This was supposed to be a fun trip but all you're doing is sitting here on that instead!" Ortho exclaimed, pouting. Then he saw you approach and swiftly flew over to you, grappling you into a hug. "Y/NNN, Idia doesn't want to hang out with me!"

"That's a low blow, dragging Y/N into this." Idia said. You walked over and snatched the switch from his hands. "He wouldn't have to if you weren't just sitting here on this."

"Hey!" Idia complained, trying to grab it back. You handed the switch to Jade, who was smiling rather sadistically. Idia crossed his arms, looking mad, but he wasn't about to try to get his switch back from Jade.

"Alright, up. We're here on vacation and we're at the beach. You can take ten minutes away from that thing to spend some time with your brother. Can't you see that he really wants to hang out with you?" You indicated to Ortho, who was hovering beside Kalim with a pleading look on his face.

Idia hesitated, but eventually relented with an exasperated sigh. "Fine...." He muttered. Ortho and Kalim cheered and Jade handed the switch back to you. You removed your hoodie from your waist and wrapped the electronic inside of it, then placed it under the umbrella.

"See? Now it won't get stolen. Now c'mon!" You said, grabbing his arm and pulling him out into the sun. Idia was still mumbling angrily, but he gave a small smile when Ortho hovered over to him and said, "Come on, big bro! Let's have a sand castle contest!"

"Ooo, I'll join in too! Y/N, you're on my team!" Kalim said excitedly, looping his arm with yours. Jade chuckled. "Let me go retrieve Floyd. I'll be right back." He said, walking away.

"Let's go find a good spot to hold the contest." Kalim said, dragging you along while the Shroud brothers followed. After a few minutes, you found a decently flat area. "Here should work." You said.

"This is such a normie thing to do..." You heard Idia mutter. "Oh, cheer up, big brother! We're gonna win this contest and be the best sand castle makers ever!" Ortho butt in, doing a spin in the air.

"You're gonna be eating those words, Sea Angel!" Floyd laughed, a devious smirk on his face. He and Jade were back from the sea, both looking pretty confident.

"Oh yeah? We'll see about that! Come on, Ortho, let's show 'em who they're messing with." Idia said, now seeming to have no qualms with the contest. He and Ortho high-fived.

The pairs of brothers both got to work and you and Kalim exchanged a glance. "I didn't think they'd get so competitive about a sand castle competition." You said quietly. Kalim giggled. "Well, let's just focus on having fun! That's what this vacation is all about, right?"

Rather than taking the vase yet, he leans over to get a closer look. He gently takes a petal between his fingers and examines it.

Flora isn't TYPICALLY what I handle but I can try my best to see what's the issue with these sweet things.

He scoops up the vase and tilts it, eyeing the flowers with curiosity. A wide almost frightening grin crossed his face. But it appears he just acts like this usually....

Mass Effect Character Sexualities because I want to project

(Partly headcanon, bi-ased, personal opinion)

Ashley: straight, formerly homophobic until she realized that most of her Normandy crew mates were gay

Garrus: bi energy, its simply unfair to our gay guys for such an amazing and hot character to not go both ways. Ive also seen too much Garrus/Thane/Shepard fanart to see him any other way

Liara: obviously bi, I hc that she was confused when she first encountered homophobia because it simply doesn’t exist in asari culture (closest thing is the asarixasari stigma)

Wrex: for some reason I see him as bi? I have no idea where I got this but I want to see a tough, old warrior casually mentioning being into both men and women and not caring at all about it (even though I think krogan culture probably wouldn’t approve)

Tali: for my sake as a helpless bi simp, I see her as under the umbrella, but doesn’t realize it. Like me before I came out, Tali would say “yeah she’s really pretty and I want to hang out with her and hug her and stare at her but I’m not gay or anything.” You are. You are gay. I think it would be in character for her to completely miss the fact that she’s into girls as well as men

Joker: straight. The kind of straight to make jokes about his friends’ sexualities, but not mean anything by it. He goes to pride every June with his wife EDI (who I will get to)

Jacob: I honestly can’t believe that he was originally intended to be bi, I just can’t see him into men unless I squint. It’s hilarious that they tried to make his male romance more like Brokeback Mountain so it’d be accepted

Miranda: I’ve seen a headcanon on Pinterest about Miranda having internalized homophobia because it doesn’t line up with her view of genetic perfection, something she’s established to be insecure about. I think it would make perfect sense for her character. I think it’s easy to see her as a lesbian practicing het-comp, especially with how awkward her initial flirting with Shepard is, but there are more scenes in her romance that feel authentic than there are that feel performative, so I’m inclined to say she is bi/pan/omni/etc.

Mordin: I’m pretty sure his asexuality is canon. I also think that he’s aromantic as well, but can objectively assess beauty/attractiveness well. For example, his film noir short story in the Citadel DLC involves a hookup with Aria. I personally believe that is him saying “yeah, she’s attractive, and if I were into women, I’d smash”

Zaeed: he gives off straight uncle who would punch a homophobe for you but otherwise doesn’t know how to interact with you after you’ve come out and tries a little too hard to acknowledge your sexuality but it’s definitely well-meaning (think the “anyone could be they!” scene from Brooklyn Nine-Nine)

Grunt: straight and supports his bi parents (Shepard and Garrus/Thane/Tali/Liara), wears rainbows at Pride for them, and regularly headbutts homophobes

Jack: I’m forever salty about them erasing her pansexuality. Also she and Miranda should’ve kissed

Kasumi: also gives off pan energy. She definitely feels like the type to not care about gender at all- as long as they’ve got muscles, that’s all that matters to her

Thane: pan energy

Samara: as established, Samara is bisexual

Legion: ace, non-binary (goes with people using he/him based on its masculine voice, pronouns are they/it)

Kelly: she said so herself, she doesn’t care about race/species or gender, all that matters is the person 💖💛💙

EDI: something about Sentient AI Who People Initially Don’t Trust Until She Gets A Humanoid Body That People Can Better Associate With Her reads to me as a trans allegory. Obviously, she’s not trans, but the vibes are there. Many times, people are suspicious of trans women until they transition and pass more as cis, which is similar to EDI’s story. She learns more about herself after her body changes, and others start to appreciate her more and have an easier time referring to her with she/her pronouns. As for her sexuality, she doesn’t seem to lean any particular way to me. She doesn’t seem like the type who’d use labels, even though it would make sense for her to “categorize” herself. I’d say she’s unlabelled- definitely into men, with her relationship with Joker

James: as much as I wish we could get gay gym bro representation, James is great as he is, being a masculine straight guy who’s best friends are openly gay (Cortez) and bi (Shepard)

Traynor: lesbian (canon), definitely into women who can crush her head under their heel but also has a dominant side herself

Cortez: gay (canon)

Diana: that annoying and popular bi girl you secretly had a crush on but didn’t want to because she was intimidating and popular

Theta is North’s kiddo, he's the cutest sweetest toddler in the world. 15/10

Delta is York’s nephew that he babysits sometimes. The director lets him bring Dee to work because Dee is the most well behaved five year old the world has ever seen and simply sits at the counter meticulously filling in coloring books properly and drinking out of a whiskey glass of apple juice. People freak out when they see a kid drinking ‘whiskey’ but are told it’s apple juice. It’s very funny to the staff (and Delta) to see people freak out about this.

Eta and Iota are the Sharklina twins (not around yet) - thinking Edith and Imogen for names - Edie and Gena for short

"Dr" Leonard Church has younger brothers, Alan and Eddie Church who are twins. Alan and his wife ‘Tex’ (Beth) have a son Oliver (Omega), making Ollie Carolina’s cousin. Ollie is about 12, Has '8th grade syndrome' and claims to have impressive powers he’s going to use to end the world. Gets in a lot of fights at school, mostly bc he gets picked on for being an angry weird kid

Eddie hasn't gotten married (yet) but he's in a weird love-hate triangle with two guys he works with (guess who) One of them insists they're best friends and also dating, and one of them flirts with him constantly and then turns around and no homo's him out of nowhere but he's secretly very into this.

Sigma is Carolina’s weird uncle on Allison’s side who is a reclusive artist but shows up at the Steakhouse sometimes with a blind date he met online. He’s also got a weird crush on Maine.
