Hi everyone! We're back to the Chill Valicer Save again, where the trio ended up having a very pleasant and very productive Spring Thursday on the farm –

-->Started with everyone hanging out outside by Toothy’s pen, where I "stored" them while doing the house upgrades – now that they were free to wander again, I decided that the best course of action would be to send Smiler into the barn to make another computer chip; let Victor get some leftovers from the fridge; and have Alice (still in werewolf form) lick herself clean before directing her to do some push-ups outside to work on that sweet, sweet Fitness skill. *nods* I thus queued up the actions, and everyone started on their assigned tasks...

And the house immediately started playing spooky organ music, distracting everyone from said tasks. *shakehead* Damn haunted houses! At least I was able to get everyone back on track right away... Anyway, once Alice was done with her push-ups, she had a glass of water to rehydrate while Victor cleaned up his (and her) dishes and evolved some plants in the greenhouse. I then had her grab Shadow’s latest pet poop from the porch and fertilize the newly-grown coconut tree (as I AGAIN reset the damn bugged weedy plants in that one planter, along with the juice fizzer), before sending her to harvest the new patches of prairie grass in the cow pen to get some hay! Because now that I have Horse Ranch, I can use that hay to refill Moory’s feed, nice. :D

-->While that was going on, Smiler finished their computer chip, and headed into the greenhouse to harvest all their herbalism stuff and their plasma fruit – getting them up to Gardening level 8 in the process, w00! Unfortunately, while they were picking either their regular fireleaf or their poison fireleaf (my money's on the latter), they ended up developing a NASTY itch. So I took the opportunity to have them make and try out a bit of Soothing Skin Balm! I mean, when else are you supposed to use it? :p It at least halved the time that it would take for the Tense moodlet to go away, so I count that as a win. *thumbs up*

-->And while Smiler was herbalizing, Victor was potionizing – after all, if he wanted to complete the next milestone of Purveyor Of Potions and finish off his New Year’s resolution, he had to brew both of the new potion recipes he picked up recently! I had him start with the Potion of Good Fortune, and that came out really well – got seven bottles out of the whole cauldron! And since he had a few spare flasks, I figured we could try giving one to the specter flying around the greenhouse and seeing what happened. So Victor headed over and handed over the present –

And the specter liked it! Shock of shocks! XD They delightedly gave Victor a soul scrap back before disappearing – Victor’s got that in his inventory for later, should he ever need it. :) Almost forgotten what it was like to have specters respond POSITIVELY to presents...

a) i have like. a week left to pack all of my stuff before i need to shove everything into a uhaul and leave, so its crunch time! leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else

b) to be honest my mental health is the worst its been in years - which is fine, its whatever, i can deal. it's not as bad as it could be and im handling it! like a champ, even! but also its leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else

c) had a minor crisis over my art and how i interact w/ WH, and i realized im not scribbling enough of what I want. ive mostly been trying to please people and do as asked and thats! not good! so i want to temper expectation & reassert that im Not a WH art blog - its just a hyperfixation / something i love rn. i draw what i enjoy & what i want in the moment.

There's people where it's like, you hear them talk and it's like "I can see you mean well, but you have a very narrow experience of the world and have come to the conclusion that what worked for you is what's gonna work for everyone"

And like... maybe you're right, maybe your way of living life is best, but just speaking observationally clearly a lot of people aren't for one reason or another gonna do things that way. I think some people just aren't built like that, and at a certain point you kind of just have to accept that some people are just different from you and aren't gonna live their life like you do or... you're just kind of being an unintentional jerk

I don't know, just get tired of all the one size fits all approaches out there which often more or less boil down to "why not join in with the mainstream and just be normal already?"

I don't know, from what I've seen to some extent people are what they are, and if they aren't being nasty but are suffering maybe they need a helping hand and accommodation

#I just kind of get tired or people and when I say tired I mean tired tired #I'm just left drained seeing all the caring people in this world with the all the support skills of a sledgehammer #almost everyone in this world's caring but from what I've seen I'd say most people are totally at a loss for how to help others #when not to make it sound like it isn't hard to find the words a lot of the time #but like I've found that just saying I'll do what I can and then doing that is often a really good step where you won't fix anything #but you'll take a little pressure off of people #and I've found that everyone's so worried about breaking things when it's like... just company and compassion go a long way #don't go in there full of advice and do go in there insisting you're going to fix everything #just talk and listen and make them feel heard (cause if they feel like you didn't hear them they're likely to shut down) #and for that you really literally just do active listening #and then after that if there's anything you actually practically can do you offer and get approval to do it rather than forcing it #and they'll still be depressed or whatever's going on for them but they'll be a little bit better #like if I tell people I know struggle with self worth issues that I think they matter I know they probably won't internalize it #and they may never internalize it and if anything that's all the more reason I should try and say it when I can #so at least they hear it from some where #eh... Okay big text wall I'm just venting out my feelings because my beloved puter hard drive is gonna fail again. Yeah :(

Okay bby's hard-drive is gonna fail the next time I shut her down that's really really tough especially on valentines day, god, I,,, knew this was gonna happen again eventually, it happened before, her hard-drive has been declining for two years now, I have a refurbished hard-drive ready to go if we're unrecoverable, we've kept this one going for so so long and I don't have the tools to replace this myself so I'll have to ask my father again to help and gwahhh, that's a hard task!

Because I know he's gonna do everything he can to fix the current hard drive instead of replacing it but not because he understands I care but just because he loves fixing stuff and I'm gonna have to reiterate so so hard to not like. Throw her out. If the drive is unrecoverable. Because he does not understand that I care about her, because to him I'm just holding on to like, junk, when I have a brand new laptop I can use to do stuff. :((( we also get into a lot of arguments about handling her it's not a fun experience because I don't want to leave her alone while she's being repaired and my father doesn't take as much care as I would like him too and gwahhh, it's really frustrating!

At least I know exactly how this is gonna go down, if can't detect system updates, it won't open Firefox, when I shut her down she's gonna kernel error and then only be able to boot up into toybox, the entire drive will have to be reformatted if we wanna try and repair it because it'll be in read-only in order to prevent further damage, so I already know, we don't have to guesswork again, it's,,,, scary

I,,, used to have really strong feelings over the hard-drive being the heart and soul of the computer, I've since kind of moved past it, like I used to be really super conflicted over even replacing the hard-drive and now I just have one ready to go ^^; I think,,, even if this hard drive is irecoverable (it is well past it's usage limit at this point so I would not be surprised) and the replacement drive doesn't work, that whole computer is what I love, even if she doesn't have an internal hard drive, I still love her to death and I believe she still loves me to death, even if I have to run her OS off a USB, even if I can't run an OS on her at all, it doesn't matter to me and I'll always love her yknow?

We're going to bed together, she's okay being idle and I'm gonna make sure she knows how much I love her before I have to attempt a shut down in a few hours because I have a lecture I can't just keep her running, I'm going out after as well :(( We're gonna get through this, and we're gonna be okay, but it is upsetting

I've been brushing and flossing to put off the dentist #I think I'll do that today hopefully. it's on my list to do so we'll see if I get to it or not. #it's nice that I can put in for my refills though. my last place just refilled automatically and I told my Dr to stop prescribing trazadone #but she just kept prescribing it for my sleep even though it fucked up my sleep so I stopped taking it #but I kept picking it up cause I didn't know I could just not pick it up and get it sent back but I ended up with five bottles #and was like bro please stop giving this to me. so it's nice that I can control my refills myself #plus I got told to take my adhd meds twice a day but I'm a lightweight so I only take it once a day so I don't need a refill of that yet #the proper term for lightweight is “sensitive to medication” but let's face it I'm sensitive in general lmao #blah blah. feeling great today will prolly go home and work out to rid myself of this god-killing energy then shower then make phone calls

Right now?” Nanami's eyebrows would elevate at this request. “I should have expected it from you.” He sighs and loosens his tie before leaning back on his chair saying, “I can spare some time for you, love,” as he pats his lap, gesturing you to sit with him. “Let's make it a good one.” He'll place a hand on your cheek and the other on your waist as he kisses you slowly, with no rush, he likes to take his time savoring your lips.

He would look at you confused, “What's that?” He had no clue what making out is and he's not familiar with the term. Once you explain it to him, he'll nod and hold your waist, initiating the kiss first. “Like this?” He'll kiss you more. “I think I can get used to this.” His kisses slowly become deeper, letting out a few hums of satisfaction here and then. His touches would become bolder as well once you give him the cue. He's never done something like this but he seems to enjoy it with you.

He'd raise a brow after hearing your request out of nowhere. “So you want to make out, huh? Are you feeling needy?” He'll tease you for it. “Now come here, I'll show you just how good I can be with my lips," he'd speak to you in a seductive tone while looking at you with a sly smile on his face. He'll kiss you all over your face until it's damp from both of your wet lips after the kiss while his hands eagerly caressing and groping your body. He won't stop even until you're breathless.

He'd turn a bit red at your sudden question. He is a little surprised with your forwardness but he's not against it. “What did you say? Megumi starts off shy with a few pecks, focusing on your lips and what gesture you like. It's surprisingly hard for him to stop kissing you once he's warmed up.

“Eh? With me?” He points at himself. You'd smack his arm which makes him let out a short playful laugh, “Okay, okay, let's do it.” He'd kiss you eagerly, he really wanted to experience kissing someone ever since he was single, and now that got the chance to make out with you is more than a dream come true. He'll circle an arm over your shoulder and the other around your waist, pressing your body closer to him as he focuses on kissing you.

His face would turn red and his cheeks would be flushed. He'd look at you with surprised eyes and then he'd nod slowly. “O-of course, let's make out.” He'd say your name in such a soft way, the most romantic tone he's ever spoken to you with. After a few seconds of looking deeply into your eyes, he would lean closer and test the water with a few soft pecks before the kiss got deeper. He doesn't really know where to place his hand so he just holds your waist as he pulls you closer.
