Experimentally in love

Ginny volunteers to participate in an experiment to help out her friend Luna with her research. In this experiment, they track the progress of a couple's affection and romantic feelings while simulating a real relationship. To ensure optimal results, they are trying to reach a large group of men to find the best compatible match with Ginny. Ron's friend, Harry, is asked to join. Ginny assured him he will likely not be the chosen one and to just fill in the survey.

If you sign up for this survey, you agree to take part in the experiment. This will somewhat simulate a real relationship, but you will receive your instructions on what to do from us. There will be regular checkups. There will be no sexual actions required or allowed. You will only need to participate if you are selected from the pool of survey participants. While the complete purpose of the experiment can not be shared as to not mess with the result, we will research the progress of a relationship and the increase of affection and attraction throughout the dating process.

There she is, getting her heart broken once more. The moonlight gave a whole new light to her tears. They looked like precious moonstones rolling down her face.

The man that broke her heart walked away like it was nothing. It was a crime surely? To abandon such beauty? To cause such a creature pain is a crime worthy of death.

If only I could take away her heart and keep it for myself. That way no pain could come to it. I would make such a pretty golden cage for her. I would protect her so much better then any of the people she gave her heart to.

No one would be able to harm her or make her cry again. I would make sure of it. My Little Bird may not be able to fly, but that was a price I am willing to pay. All I would have to do is lead her to the forest.

Last chapter! @alicat54cwriting IT’S BEEN AN HONOR. o7 I’ve learned so much writing with you and had so much fun.

Guys as we get closer to the end of the year (and the anniversary of me starting LSoW) I’m sure I’ll be getting a lot more emotional.

I started writing it coming off of a very very long bout of depression that I don’t think I realized effected me as much as it did until I was on the other side. I wasn’t sleeping, wasn’t eating, and I didn’t create anything for almost five years when previously I would never put a pencil down. It actually took a huge chunk of my life away now that I’ve allowed myself to think about it.

This year has been like dragging myself out of a hole, and I’ve always been such a huge fan of TMNT all the way from when the 2003 series was airing, so I knew I could write something that I would enjoy now that I was in the mindset to start creating again! So I did. And I’m still nowhere near finished.

Feeling so much better this year also encouraged me to reach out to other fans, and engage with the fandom a bit, and I’m super glad I did because enjoying things outside of a vacuum is far better than doing it alone. I like to think of some of the people I’ve met this year as friends.

Li was one of those people and I am super proud of what we made. The idea that I can look at this years from now and remember opening the google doc and discord at two am while I was in bed, and having full yelling conversations about baby turtles and Master Splinter with them makes me really happy.

Here’s to writing and creating more! I’m hoping within the next two weeks I’ll start posting more of LSoW, and I hope you guys really enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.

What’s the darkest scene you wrote that you ended up scrapping?

Ooooooo...

I was gonna say the original ending of Accidentally an Aunt.

But then I remembered my split-curse au.

Lilith was originally going to accidentally poison herself. Enough that it did the damage it needed to Eda was going to be none the wiser until she finds Lilith passed out in the school bathroom after vomiting up blood.

There's another from a fic I did a long time ago. It was more Lilith pain but it's her as a petrified statue and her being aware of everything but unable to do anything about it.

Personally, my favorite is the one I did from an au of an au where aoaw ended with Eda giving up the door for Luz's safety, it going to shit, Belos cursing Luz to forget about the BI, Eda helpless to stop any of it as Luz got thrown back into the portal which Owlbert followed after but the door disappeared with them, Lilith suddenly turning coat cuz none of this was the plan, and then a time skip of 3 years where no one remembers Luz, Luz manages to accidentally open the door from her side because Owlbert had swipped the key three years beforehand, Eda got brainwashed to join the coven, and Lilith isn't Lilith but Eda doesn't know that.

The darkness scene from that fic: Brainwashed Eda killing Luz accidentally, Luz's curse being broken by her death, and Eda suddenly remembering who the girl in front of her was that she has just killed
