Ahhh yes, I was absolutely desperate for fic after that ep came out, and there’s definitely some good ones. (I even wrote one of my own!) Sadly, there aren’t as many as I’d like. But here are my favourites.

After the events of Glaciator 2.0 a lot of articles come out claiming Marinette as Chat Noir's new flame after being spotted together around Paris. These awkward teens don't know how to handle it.

Multi-chapter. Lots of Marichat in this one as these two try to quell the rumours that keep spreading about them, only to add fuel to the fire. They’re just. So. Stupid. And I love them so much!! This one is just so much fun.

One-shot. I think this has to be one of my absolute favourite Glaciator 2 fics. Adrien just wants to be close to Marinette, and what better way to do that then to help her with Buttercup? hahaha they’re sooooo stupid and I love it. The identity shenanigans are great and the resolution is even better!

One-shot. A Glaciator 2 rewrite where, in practicing her confession on Chat, Marinette tells him that Adrien’s the boy. I really loved Adrien’s reaction and then the end is just perfect.

You know, I can kinda see why people would be uncomfortable with the scenes of Adrien repeatedly trying to kiss Marinette, and I don't fault people for not liking it.

But like with every single goddamn salt take, even the ones that I can kind of agree on or at the very least say "I disagree, but I can see were you're coming from", most of the people that spout them have to jump to the stratosphere and exaggerate their point just to make the character they're salting look worse than they are (like calling Adrien a goddamn sexual a*saulter)

It's the same thing that happened with the whole "high road" thing. They couldn't just say "Oh I don't think that the advice Adrien gave Marinette was good". No, they have to say that "He'S a COwArD wHO's EnAbLiNg Lila111!!111"

I was just about to post more about this! To me the scene was funny, I didn't find it uncomfortable. It's more the surroundings than the scene itself - it's funny that Marinette is totally confused like "wtf is going on and why is he doing it now" 😂. But it's true, just like that statue scene when they go like "she s*xually harassed him" and all that, if that's uncomfortable just don't watch. Stop acting like one scene you don't like is the end of the world and twisting it to make it look 1000× worse.

I used to use Félix ep as a way to defend Marinette for Glaciator 2 and now I'm using both F and G2 to defend Adrien here - if Marinette was that uncomfortable she would have punched and/or pushed Adrien away from her - as seen in Félix and Glaciator 2 - but she didn't, she just rejected the kiss, which was also a kiss on the cheek, not on the lips. I used to kiss my friends on the cheek too, even my boy friends, if we're that good friends. When I see someone doesn't want to or is uncomfortable with it I stop, I stopped doing this too, I just started it cuz my girl friends did it a lot.

And Marinette and Chloé kissed each other like this on Chloé's birthday party too, even though they both hated it, just for that one day because it's custom. That's what close friends or people who are close to you do anyway. Not recommended during Corona, but that's not something I'm not familiar with.

Are that any MLB characters that WON'T appear in any way in your AU? (You mentioned Marinette is not in Paris, does that mean she'll not even appear? Or will she switch places with zoe/Have went do NY because of the fashion career Audrey has offered her?)

Also, You mentioned something about keeping the specials. Are you gonna keep all of them? Are you including all the special characters? And most importantly, are you keeping the Prodigious and the heroes of NY or are you changing that?

And will you only use the main miracle box, or will you somehow plan/write other boxes as well (like the NY one)?

There are some I wish I didn't put in, like Andre (Glaciator) or Marinette's grandfather (Bakerix), and they might appear, but some of them wouldn't be very relevant, I think they'd still have to appear even minimally. Oh, the guy of Action, he definitly will not appear. About Marinette, she'll appear, but not at the beginning of the comic, since she went to Shanghai, the most I can say is that apart from being nothing to do with fashion, it was more like therapy than a hobby, apart from her meeting Fei. Oh, and Zoé is in Paris, sort of a "supervisor" for Chloé. And about the part of me saying that Derision is canonical, I'm only referring to the flashback part, because, even if the characters are 2 years older, I'm considering the beginning of the origins as the beginning of the comic, so what happened to Marinette in this ep, that originally she would have been 12 years old, happened with her being 14/15 years old (I'm sorry for leaving this information a bit ambiguous).

Regarding the specials, I was referring to the specials I created "chaotic weekend" and "worst choices" (again sorry for leaving it ambiguous), I can't say much about them, as for the official specials, I can even fit them into the story, really, it would work very well for the development of some characters, thanks for the idea! If I were to put it in, the only one I wouldn't put in would be the one in Paris/the reverse, because considering the powers of miraculous, at least in this universe, it wouldn't be possible to see the villainous holders. About the prodigious, I can see it happening, of course with a big change in the story, and a bit of how it works, as well as the change in appearance, not to mention that Kwami guardian, I would love to use, but that will be a bit later for me to define these new specials. No kidding, but I hate the way they did the New York special, everyone is a hero? No secret identity? With powers? It's nice that they established the idea that there are other jewels, and it's nice that they showed that there aren't just miraculous, like in the case of prodigious, but now, you can just born with powers, that's something that really bothers me, most of them have powers, I'll see what I can do about it, but depending, I'll create new jewels or miraculous to justify it. Obs: if the Brazil special comes out and I like it, maybe I'll put in.

My initial idea is only for the main box, which in the story is just a cluster of "domains", being separated into Yin-Yang, Elementals and Zodiac. Well… about other boxes and miraculous, it would depend a lot, as I said, the case of NY, maybe, outside of that, I doubt it very much, but maybe, who knows.

just letting you know that I'm currently rewatching MLB Season 4 and yesterday it was time for Ephemeral and Kuro Neko!!! and let me tell you!!! both episodes make me go FERAL like I don't even know where to start. The way they both deal with central themes of the season, focus on Maribug's and Adrichat's individual arcs, and also tie back to the first two episodes of the season, like, uuuuughhhh. Yeah. I could write an essay on this but maybe not on anon in your inbox. Do you have any favourite episodes or moments in the forth season? <3

oh and I was with a friend who's watching MLB for the first time and after we had finished Kuro Neko she left the room while shouting "THIS IS NO LONGER A FUCKING KIDS SHOW" asdfsadasdfsf. What a mood

TO ANSWER UR QUESTION yes i have favorites in s4 for sure!! off the top of my head im very VERY fond of psycomedian bc of angry ladybug (it cracks me up so bad) and i also LOVE glaciator 2. and honestly im a huge fan of the first 3-4 episodes i just think they are so banger and all in a row like that like wow! also episodes like kuro neko r life changing. number one moment of the season tho? that goes to Ladynoir Hug at the end of strikeback. the way she looks at him and falls so fully and utterly in love and he engulfs her in a tight, TIGHT embrace, picking her up and saying You Still Have Me right at her LOWEST MOMENT where she thinks she doesnt deserve anything at all, least of all HIM, but he’s the one thing she gets to keep…….. outsold

Ladybug, Interrupted

I'm trying to sympathize with what Marinette's been going through in the last couple of eps, but it's hard. She's spent months friendzoning the crap out of Chat Noir because she was too busy stalking Adrien. Then she blew up a healthy, supportive relationship with Luka because… he wasn't Adrien. Now Adrien is offering her everything she's ever wanted and she's running away from it because of her self-fulfilling affirmation that she will never have a normal conversation with him--even though she worked out how to express those feelings in "Glaciator 2". And she's developed a fixation on Chat Noir just as he's decided to start exercising his boundaries with both her personas.

To an extent, it feels like karma, and a severe misalignment of priorities that's distracting her from ending Monarch's reign of terror. I get that maybe she's scared of having a real relationship, one that won't necessarily be hamsters ever after. I get that she's a fifteen-year-old girl whose mission to save the city was difficult enough without love getting in the way. But I agree with Tikki, Alya, and Johanne--none of whom she seems to be hearing right now--that she needs to calm down and focus. That's a tall order for any teenager even in the best circumstances, and I say that with love as someone who bitterly and unkindly remembers those years. But I hope she learns the lesson soon, because watching her slam her head against the glass like a frustrated bird is getting painful to watch.

With regards of prior characterisation and who is more likely to get lost in optimism and who is willing to face harsh reality, it’s entirely on brand that Marinette’s the one breaking out of the dream. But in light of “Determination” it really feels like Adrien should’ve been the one realising that this could never be real. I’m really curious to see what’ll go down in Ep 5 now

As someone who ran around Paris wearing a fitness tracker, the record was fourtysomething thousand steps in a day, and I went on foot on purpose and was also doing touristy sightseeing, not going about the routine of everyday life. Soqeline’s superheroing must’ve take up a lot of time.

She’s such a weird addition to the story but it honestly feels like she makes more sense than Zoé does
