he appears as though he was born thirty-eight years ago but is actually sixty-one, he is a faerie who lives in ashmore as the councilman for town funds and co-owner of the vault and is an advisor of duszek decorous. he looks an awful lot like sebastian stan.

tw: adultery, homophobia, cult Born to a unique family would be putting it mildly. Zebulon is the product of two wandering faeries that found each other and joined a commune. Born second in his family, he was raised with full blooded siblings and adopted siblings in this unique commune on the outskirts of Opulence. Throughout his childhood, his parents and the other adults on the compound tried to instill in him the importance of nature, being one with nature, and the shallowness of the material world. However, since he could remember he always felt different and never grasped these concepts. Homeschooled until the age of fourteen, he lived a sheltered life and was then thrust into the public education system. Needless to say, Zebulon struggled at first being the freak child from the compound and people comparing the commune to a dangerous cult. It was in his teen years that he learned his mother actually came from an affluent, strict, traditional family in the fae realm. Suddenly everything clicked for him, he was never meant for this flower child life. No, he was destined for greatness. After graduating high school as valedictorian, Zebulon found it important to go to the fae realm and get to know his grandparents better. For over a decade, they started to groom him into the proper gentleman that would make the family name proud and pressured him to find a wife that would help achieve these dreams. When Zebulon left the fae realm, he took on his grandfather’s name, in honor of him and to completely change his identity. The fae went straight into college getting a MBA and finding his future wife that fit the perfect mold of what he needed for success, she came from wealth and opened doors for him. Only problem, this was a marriage of convenience for him. Mark had always been attracted to men, although he never told anyone, because the times he grew up in, it was not something that was accepted in the society he wanted to be part of. Over the years, his wife and him became socialites of Opulence often hosting charity events at their home. They are the proud parents of six children who often test their parents’ patience and on a couple of times had to have their parents’ bail them out and pay people off to cover the story of their misbehavior. Currently, Mark works for the town council in charge of the town’s funds and how to allocate the money to the different department agencies. He also works as an advisor to the Duszek Decorous ensuring his family’s legacy as well as co-owning The Vault with his closest friend Rowan. Just one problem with this picture perfect family, there are a lot of things hidden. Through the duration of his marriage, Mark has had multiple affairs with different men over the years and is currently having another one that he is keeping hidden.

When Mark settled in Opulence, he noticed the growth in his powers. Suddenly, he was able to understand people’s emotions and often used this gift to move up in the world by manipulating the person.

In the beginning, there was violence and chaos. The beauty of the new world was marred with the crimson of the slain and the anguished cries of those left behind. For centuries, the turbulence waged with alliances constantly shifting between species as warfare continued. Until the Faeries intervened and the Inter-Realm Treaty was signed. It fashioned the birth of the new world that followed, Lume Noua. Seven realms were created, each led by a different species in newly established noble houses across the realms, and set the tone and culture of their new civilizations - one built on the foundation of the peace treaty. Centuries later, in the year, 2600, the Inter-Realm Treaty expired. And a new realm, The Dark World, has risen in public opposition of Lume Noua’s current political order. Will Lume Noua repeat its history and origin story? Will the world as the various beings know it transform, yet again?

Hi I’m Shoshanah!. I'm 23 from the UK. I consider myself a literate roleplayer. My average post length is around two fairly long paragraphs but I like to match my partner. I’m chronically online to plot and headcanon but depending on reply length, I occasionally might find it hard focus on long replies. I'm looking for a partner is willing to be patient with me. I do aim for daily replies but do give me about a week maximum to respond, and I shall do the same for you.

Discord rp only. I prefer using realistic faceclaims and do enjoy using Tupperbox for rp, though this is not a requirement.

RULES

1. Give me at least a week before sending reminders please. I do feel guilty about not replying quickly but constant reminders make me anxious and less motivated

2. All characters must be 20+

3. I only write in third person tense

4. Please give at least more than three sentences so I have something to work with for my side

5. MxF or FxF. I do allow doubles!

PLOT

I would like to roleplay a plot along the lines of Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries / A Study in Drowning (though reading these is not a requirement). In theory, your oc (any gender) will be an eccentric noble member of the high fair folk who has been banished or escaped from faerie and hiding among mortals in the mortal realm. In this world, fae existence is common known and often studied by scholars known as dryadologists. It’s a mix of high fantasy and magical realism. My oc (F) will be such a scholar, interested in studying the high Fae as little is known about them. This is just a general idea but please feel free to bring your own plot suggestions and character ideas to the table.

Illegitimated son of the King of the Unseelie, Oberon Rye the Sixth, and an unknown fae mother. Sent to the mortal world upon birth as a changeling - his fae origin hidden from him and he was replaced with a human baby without its parents’ knowledge to live in the mortal world unaware of where he came from. Reason for this is most likely because his father would not accept him as a son, since his mother was ‘lowborn’ - disclaimer, King Oberon is a jerk. Would have never been to the fae realm afterwards and does not remember it, spent his whole life so far with mortal parents in the human world none the wiser. Maybe glamour finally wore off and he found out that he was not human or someone helped him find these things out, this is completely UTP. His coming to Greywood is also entirely UTP, maybe he found out he had a half-brother and a half-sister there or maybe they do not know each other at all but by a chance of fate still meet, completely unaware who they are.
