Another idea for your fairy tale ask game! Twelve Dancing Princesses, please. All for One is an overprotective king who keeps his brother Yoichi and son Izuku locked up, but they keep vanishing every night and returning with their shoes worn out as if dancing every night.

I think it would be fun if Second plays the role of the elf prince stealing Yoichi and Izuku away each night. The soldier tasked to uncover the mystery could be Third or a love interest of your choice for Izuku. Thank you!

It's been so long since I've read this one, I had to look at wikipedia for a refresher. But this was fun.

The reason AFO hates the idea of them dancing so much is because someone assassinated Queen Inko by slipping a small poisoned needle in her shoes before she went to dance at a ball. The needle was so small, she didn't notice until she started feeling faint as she danced, but by then it was too late and she died. Ever since then, AFO has insisted on absurd security measures for his remaining family members and obsessively checks their shoes. He has also forbidden them from dancing. Izuku was 3 when it happened, and is now six, so he doesn't mind too much, but Yoichi is angry at his brother for this (and maybe part of him was resentful at his brother for making him sleep in the same room as a child, with said brother locking the door every night).

Lately, AFO has been noticing that their shoes look worn out, as if they had been dancing all night. However, he can't figure out how, so he sends a message that any man who can figure out the mystery will get to marry his brother (a promise he does not intend to keep) and naturally, he doesn't tell Yoichi or Izuku about this. Many try and fail, which leads to them getting killed in the king's rage. However, a soldier returning from the front lines hears of this and decides to give it a shot.

This soldier has earned the nickname Third and he offers his assistance in the matter, enticed by Prince Yoichi's beauty. On the way there, he gets some advice from Old Lady Shimura, who tells him not to drink the wine Yoichi will offer and gives him an invisibilty cloak. He does as she says and when the two think the man is asleep, they sneak out through a small hole in the wall Yoichi had carved, hidden by a Captain Hero portrait. Third follows with the invisibility cloak, down to the beach where a man on a boat pulls up. It's Prince Second, who Yoichi met at a diplomatic dinner two years prior. He heard about their plight, and offered to sneak them away and dance with them.

Third sneaks onto the boat, and they go to Second's castle, where he watches them dance the night away (Izuku's observation of the boat being heavier than usual is ignored). Then, at 3 in the morning, when their shoes are worn out, they come back. He brings back a cup as proof of where he went, but as he approaches the king, he overhears the king talking to his advisor about his plan for what happens when he finally gets proof of where Yoichi goes. AFO is going to kill the soldier, and use whatever proof he manages to find to power up a spell that will curse the two into staying with him forever.

Horrified, Third tells the princes what he's learned. Yoichi isn't surprised, and that night, all three of them sneak out to go with Second and tell him what happened. This time, they didn't come back. Yoichi does send a letter explaining what happened, as he feels sorry for his brother and doesn't want him to worry. So, every diplomatic meeting is spent with AFO trying to convince him to come back. He doesn't and marries Second and Third.

I was debating giving Izuku a love interest, but then I realized the soldier thing fit Third better.

Instead of the dumb Firebender headcanons I seem to see literally everywhere that seems to reduce Izuku's parents Quirks as just Fire and Telekinesis and wanting to give him a powerful ability. How about a powerful Quirk that Izuku could have gotten while still staying mostly with the Attraction x Fire Breathing?

So I wasn't sure what you wanted out of this, especially since I already made a Quirk Marriage involving the two, so I'm mostly just going to be spit balling other ideas for him. Obviously, these won't be that fleshed out, but hey, it's fun to think about.

Trying to come up with an original Quirk for Izuku is a twofold problem. We don't know much about either parent Quirk and there isn't a lot of overlap between the two's abilities. To really come up with anything interesting, you'd need to go as broad or abstract as possible to fit both ideas, which you will often have to do to combine Quirks, or try to give him a notable next generation boost. Then there is the issue of trying to make it fit with his character, which is pretty much a lost cause. That aside, I can still try to spit ball some ideas. Now, are these realistic results of these match ups? Not really, but the whole point is that these are as extreme combinations and variations as we can get.

Now, from Inko's side, the most obvious answer would simply be giving Izuku "Larceny". That's pretty much a direct upgrade of Inko's power as it is and I think could have a lot of fun applications if given a user like Izuku, but isn't the most interesting possibility. I suppose his ability could expand on specific characteristics, such as letting him call objects from further away, similar to what Thor can do with his hammer, or making the pull more powerful and aggressive, violently pulling at whatever he's using it on. The most out there I think you could do is Izuku being able to make a pull from any point on his body, kind of like a reverse of "Slide and Glide". It could even be a fun take on Spider Man's most prevalent ability of adhesion.

As for Hisashi, as we know so little about his power, you could pretty much justify or make up whatever you want. Maybe it could grow to let Izuku make huge swathes of flame or make various shaped flame attacks. Maybe it could even become a powerful beam of fire, similar to Godzilla's various breath attacks. An admittedly goofy, but fun idea could expand the idea of "breathing" and apply it to the skin, making to so Izuku can make fire from any point on his skin, kind of like a knock off of Endeavor. I think the most interesting would be a play on the idea of using breath to make heat, similar to people that meditate to stay warm. That by breathing, Izuku starts to make heat from his body for a variety of applications, similar to people that meditate to stay worm.

Finally, you could combine the two in a few ways. To be fair, I don't think making him a fire manipulator is that bad of an idea, since it's all about telekinetically controlling fire, but I still think there are other choices. The most obvious one to me would be Izuku being able to pull fire into his mouth and firing it back out later, similar to Natsu from Fairy Tail, or make a powerful pulling affect from his mouth like Kirby. An out there idea could be that by pulling on something, he could cause it to heat up and ignite with some kind of friction ability, like trying to pull on part of a door to make it catch on fire. I think that most out there you could get is Izuku attracting heat to his hands, effectively making it an ice power as he drains the heat from his surroundings. Maybe he could shoot it back out as fire, but that would be pushing it pretty far.

Aquarium AU! He’s so cute! What kind of seahorse is he? What does he look like? And are there any obvious signs he’s not human when he’s in Walker mode? (Aka when he has legs?)

Izuku is a mixed seahorse, Inko was a horned seahorse and Hisashi a dragon seahorse. I imagine sea horse mers are like the fae or fairies of the the mer world, unusual and strange. their anatomy is a bit different than normal sea horses. because of their human size they have side fines that help them maneuver and large dorsal fins that propel them to replace tail fines most mers would have.

Izuku is very much so a mix between both of his parents. While his side fins and color comes mostly from his mother, the length of his fins, spots/freckles and horns match his father.

While he’s a walker his ears are pointed, he has sharp fangs as well as two tiny horns hidden in his hair(barely noticeable, just lil bumps).
