I'm a little late on day 9 of National Adoption Awareness Month but it is a very special day. It's my AMs birthday! Without her I wouldn't be the woman I am today! She took in four of us and tried to keep as much of our family together as possible. I am grateful to her commitment. We have been through alot of pain together but also alot of happy times. Shes doesn't hear it from me often but I am thankful you decided to adopt us four and raise us like your own (which she doesn't have, it's only us adopted kids). (Second picture is an old picture but still a good one) I know I don't show my feelings well with you but I wouldn't change anything about my family and things we've learned together. Thank you for just diving into no kids to 4 kids in tje drop of a hat. (I didn't forget about Chase, he just came much later)(Chase is my 5 year old adopted brother, so she adopted 5 kids total). . . . My mother shares her birthday with a good friend of mine whom happens to be adopted from Russia with four siblings. It's really cool that our family is friends with a family with such a similar story even though they're also very different stories.
