Joseph Quinn x Plus Size FM Reader

You were so excited for this day to happen. You’ve been planning it for so long, you could barely breath thinking that today was the day. You were gonna meet him, actually meet him.

You were running late. A friend of yours was gonna pick you up, and they were outside waiting for you to come outside. You were going to the Fan Expo in Canada, and you were traveling a long way for this. When you actually got the notification that your payment went through when you bought the tickets while being on the phone with your friend.

You guys talked alot about going to one of those for a long time, but you never had enough money to go. Finally you got a good amount of money from your new job, so you finally had the opportunity to go. The first thing you did when it was announced that Joseph Quinn was going to this FanExpo, you were sold. You loved his work from Make Up, Dickensian, and his new work being Eddie in Stranger Things. You’ve been a fan of him since you first saw him ages ago, you could barely remember what made you fall in love with him and his work.

But you did not just get tickets because of him, Charlie Hunnam was also a good reason as to why you guys wanted to go, but mainly Joseph, ofcourse.

You got startled by your phone ringing in your hand, and it made you come out of your trance thinking about what you would ask them, what you would do when you were gonna meet them.

“Are you coming?” Aurora said into the phone. “We have to get going if we’re gonna make it in time for this flight!”

“Shit, I’m sorry, I’ll be right down!” you said and hung up the phone, hurrying out of your apartment and down the stairs.

“This is gonna be sick!” Aurora beamed at you, waiting for the luggage to come on the belt. You looked at your friend and smiled. What a time it would be. You were gonna explore the city before the Expo because you came there 3 days before the event actually would take place.

“It’s gonna be so damn exciting!” you squealed, looking at your friend and you squealed together, jumping up and down when a ton of people came rushing through the airport.

You got curious and watched what happened a few feet away from you. Your friend also turned and watched the crowd go crazy over something. That’s when your eyes met.

You swear you almost fainted just by looking into his eyes. He had the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen. And he was coming your way.

Shit, he was actually coming straight for you! You didn’t know what to do, so you just stood there while Aurora tried to get you out of your trance. She still hadn’t figured out who the person was, because she clearly wasn’t that big of a fan of Joe.

He stood just beside you, trying to keep hidden from the crowd without any luck. ‘

“You know they still can see you, right?” You said, looking up at him.

He just stood there like a regular person, with his hat on down low, but you could definitely see that it was indeed Joe who stood beside you.

“Shit, you really think so?” he said, laughing a bit at the remark you made. “I think so too” he said, looking down at you, smiling.

Oh that damn smile. It could kill you any moment. But you knew you had to keep yourself at bay, to not make him go away, or make you seem like a crazy fan, just like everyone else in this airport who knew who he was.

He looked down at you, and you could swear you saw the wheels turning inside his head. What was he thinking about?

“Come with me” he said, and took your hand. You looked back at your friend who just stood there as a question mark, not knowing what to do while Joe dragged you with him.

“O. M. G.” You saw Aurora mouth to you. You mouthed the same back at her, until she was out of sight and you were pushed behind a door. Joe was still holding onto your hand, walking as fast as he could out of there.

“Uhm, sorry, but I need my luggage” you said as calmly as you could. Feeling like your heart was gonna pound out of your chest at any given moment.

“Just tell me your name, and my security guys will handle it” he said, calming his pace down a bit, walking normal beside you, still holding onto your hand.

“Y/N, Y/L/N” you said, looking up at him, then down to where your hands were connected. You still couldn’t believe what just happened. He picked you.

Wait a damn minute. He picked you? But for why?

You looked up at him again, while he was focused straight ahead of him.

“Where are we going?” you asked “Why did you just drag me away from there? Why me?” you asked, and that made him stop, turn to you, and reaching his hands on either side of your body, holding your shoulders.

“I don’t really know” he said truthfully. “It just felt safe making you come with me” he said, smiling at you.

“I can bring you back if you want to?” he asked, smiling at you. “I’m sorry, I’m awfully rude right now.” he said, huffing at himself.

“I’m Joseph. Joseph Quinn that is” he said, standing back and reaching out his hand for you to shake. You took it and smiled. “Well, nice to meet you” you smiled and bowed a bit. He chuckled a bit and smiled back at you.

He looked around and you followed his gace.

“Would it be weird if I asked you to come to my hotel with me?” he said, looking down at you again, catching your attention.

“It’s absolutely weird, right?” he grimaced, awkwardly smiling down at you.

“No, I’ll join” you said, smiling up at him, which made him glow, and you could see he relaxed right away.

Joe’s POV:

People surrounded me in an instant when I was about to get my luggage. It was very overwhelming.

I didn’t care that people adored me, but it could be a bit too much attention at once. It was tiring, but I loved my fans.

“Can you sign this for me?” “Can I have a picture?” “I love you so much!” “You’re my dream man!” “I wanna have your babies!”

I heard them, but I didn’t wanna pay attention to any of those comments. I just smiled and signed whatever they reached out to me. That’s when I saw her.

Her beautiful eyes. Her beautiful face. She glowed where she stood. Just like it was meant to happen that we were gonna meet each other.

She seemed like she didn’t understand the comotion happening around me, which made me relaxed straight away. She was definitely not like the rest. I knew I had to have her. My gut screamed at me that she was the one. So I did what I thought would work.

I walked straight towards her. Putting my hat on, and pushed it down so far that I could barely see where I walked, in hopes of people getting off my back. And it worked, sort of.

She told me they still could see me, and I laughed at my stupid self while asking her if she was sure they could. Ofcourse they could you stupid shit.

I didn’t know what to do. I took her hand, and dragged her out of the airport. She said something about her luggage or something, so I told her to tell me her name, and my security team would have to struggle with that whenever I called them later on. They were probably still a bit occupied at the airport, holding off the fans for me.

She told me her name, and was silent for a while. Until she spoke up again.

“Where are we going?” she asked “Why did you just drag me away from there? Why me?”

“I don’t really know” I said truthfully. “It just felt safe making you come with me” I said, smiling down at her.

Yeah, why her you dip shit? Maybe talk to her instead of trying to kidnap her like you just did?

I stopped dead in my tracks, turned towards ger and reached my hands out so that I was holding onto her shoulders, looking down at her.

“I can bring you back if you want to?” I asked her, trying to smile down at her. “I’m sorry, I’m awfully rude right now.” I said, realizing I didn’t even introduce myself to her. What if she didn’t know who I was and was probably freaking out? I huffed at myself.

“I’m Joseph. Joseph Quinn that is” I said, standing back and reaching out my hand for her to shake. She took it and smiled. “Well, nice to meet you” she smiled and bowed a bit. Damn, that smile could wake me up from a coma, I swear. I chuckled a bit and smiled back at her.

Just now I figured that I might need to know where I was. I’ve been here before, but I don’t even know if I walked in the right direction of my hotel. I looked around and smiled for myself. I didn’t walk in vain actually. I walked in the right direction without knowing.

Maybe she wants to join me at my hotel? Should I ask? Would it be weird asking her? Hell, I just randomly kidnapped a girl who didn’t even know me. Ofcourse that question wouldn’t top the weirdness of it all.

“Would it be weird if I asked you to come to my hotel with me?” I said after some thought, looking down at her. “It’s absolutely weird, right?” I said, smiling awkwardly down at her.

She looked up at me and smiled softly.

“No, I’ll join” she said, and I began to breathe again, without knowing I even was holding my breath. She smiled up at me, and I swear, I came to life again at that moment. I didn’t realize that she was so important to me already.

“This is beautiful” she said, beaming up at me as I opened the door to my hotel room. She was beautiful, exploring the space like she did. Her hair was absolutely stunning, shining in the tiny bit of amount of light that came from the moon in the darkness.

Looking at her, in awe of the room I had, it made me relax when I saw how happy it made her. She was definitely an explorer by heart.

She suddenly ran towards the bed, and jumped on it, laughing for herself.

She ran into the bathroom, and came straight out after a few minutes, almost leaping into my body.

“You got a waterfall shower!” she said, excited. It made me smile, seeing her excitement.

“This is the softest bed I’ve ever laid on!” she exclaims, excitement beaming off her entire body.

I laughed, walking towards the bed, laying down beside her.

“It sure is comfy” I laughed at her, looking at her, rolling around in the bed, just exploring the softness of the bed alone, before she leaped up, prompted her head on her elbows, and looked at me.

“Why did you drag me out of there?” she said, curiosity spreading across her face clear as day.

“So” she said, circling her finger round on the mattress.

“So..” I said, turning my head towards her, smiling at her.

“Well..” I started, sitting up on the bed, looking down at her. She looked beautiful in the tiny amount of light there was in the room. Her eyes were the most beautiful color I’ve ever seen. I could see her soul in her eyes. She is definitely pure as the day was long.

“The second my eyes met yours, you made me relax just by looking at me.” I said finally after a while. “You made me feel safe, and I knew right then and there that you would be cool if I ever approached you.”

She sat up, legs crossed, looking at me, smiling.

“I feel like you’d never judge me. And I feel like you’d follow me anywhere.” I breathed. Looking at her made me smile, and she scooted closer to me, holding my hands in hers.

“You don’t have to be afraid of me being crazy like that.” she said, looking at me. Smiling softly.

“You don’t seem like the crazy type” I said, laughing. She just looked at me and shook her head.

“Oh boy, you’re in for a ride if you think I’m not crazy!” she laughed back at me.

At some point, we must’ve fallen asleep.

So it actually happened. It wasn’t a dream.

I woke up to the sun shining in my face, while feeling some strong hands holding around me. It smelled like vanilla and cigarettes, and it was an intoxicating smell. I would never be bored of this smell. So you did what you’ve always wanted to do. You cuddled closer to him, and felt your body relax at once.

I heard a few sleepy moans from him, and it gave me goosebumps.

We sat up for several hours last night, just vibing, connecting, talking, getting to know one another. It came up that we liked the same stuff. We had the same music taste, we smoked the same cigarettes, he told me about his family and that his mom used to call his eyes chocolate button eyes, and he told me about him meeting Metallica and how starstruck he was.

I ended up telling him that I knew who he was after a while, and he didn’t seem bothered by it at all. He was actually happy that I decided to go to Canada after all. He was thankful that I didn’t freak out when I saw him. But I told him that I freaked out so badly when our eyes met the first time. I told him that I didn’t know what to do when he came walking towards me.

He understood that he maybe came up as a creep walking towards me like that and apologized for acting that way.

He invited me to join him “backstage” at the Fan Expo, not quite working for him, but just keep him company whenever there was a slight pause between meet n’ greets, autographs, pictures and all that package.

He even told me I could invite my friend since he after all kidnapped me from her when we were at the airport.

“Shit!” you exclaimed, remembering Aurora. She must stressed as fuck, not knowing where I was. Or if I was safe at all.

You jumped out of bed and woke up Joe while doing so.

“Come back to bed” he groaned, trying to reach out for you.

“Yes, I just have to call my friend” you said to him, and he looked up at you as good as he could. Not entirely awake just yet. He scoffed, reached out, and dragged you back to bed while you were finding Auroras number, and calling her.

You squealed, and laughed while Joe made himself comfortable in your neck, snuggling up to you.

“Hello?” you heard on the other end. It was probably very early yet, because she sounded very tired.

You just laughed at him, and shook your head.

“Hey” you said, before Joe took the phone from you.

“Joe!” you laughed, trying to get your phone back.

“She’s gonna sleep some more, she’ll call you later” he said, hanging up the phone and tossing it to the other side of the bed, cuddling up to you, holding you close.

“I hope you got a good explanation for her whenever we wake up again.” You said, half smiling, half laughing.

“Mmh” he said, holding onto you. “Sleep” he said, kissing your forehead. This made you smile.

10 years later…

A brown haired curly girl ran around your feet. Laughing and giggling at her big brother who was chasing her. You smiled for yourself, thinking about how happy you were. How good the past decade has been to you. What a rollercoaster of emotions it’s been. From miscarriage to becoming your own boss. A lot has happened. And alot more to come.

“Kids, leave your mother alone!” you heard Aurora say, trying to keep up with them.

They ran off into the corridor, and Aurora stopped to take a breather. She looked at you, while you looked at your own reflection in the mirror. You looked beautiful, you had to admit. And you know he was gonna love it. Hell, he’d cherish you if you were walking down the aisle in just a bag. He adored you to the end of the world and back again.

He would kiss the ground where you walk if he could. That man would do absolutely anything to see you smile, and you couldn’t wish for anything better.

Aurora just chuckled a bit and handed you a tissue.

“You look absolutely amazing” Aurora said, looking at you, smiling. You felt a tear rolling down your cheek without even noticing you started to cry.

“Stop!” you said, “don’t make me cry now, please!”

“10 minutes!” a girl popped her head in from the door and said, smiling at you before heading straight out again.

“Are you ready to become Mrs. Quinn?” Aurora asked you, handing you her arm for you to hold.

You smiled at her and felt a tear stream down your face again.

But the thing that made you almost cry yourself? was the sight of your soon to be husband at the end of the aisle, barely holding it together by the sight of you, smiling his best and looking at you with pure adoration and awe.

“Absolutely” you said, walking with Aurora to the aisle. “I just wish my parents could see me” you said, which made Aurora pout in your honor before she smiled again. Standing in front of the door to the church, before the song started playing, and the doors opened.

Everyone in their seats turned around and looked at you. Someone gasped, someone started to cry from happiness.

"You're my princess, forever" he mouthed towards you, smiling, barely holding his posture looking at you.

You still couldn’t believe that he picked you. Out of anyone he could have wished for, he chose you.
