I can't get the hang of tumblr but I'm not giving up. I'm a bit obstinate like that.
On twitter I have 'friends' that I tweet with everyday, and I like that. I've even met one person a few times and we have a friendship now.
On here, I feel that I have yet to 'meet' someone. I feel that tumblr is about the subject that you're blogging about.
I want to get to 'follow' nature lovers, fell walkers, hikers, animal lovers and kind people.

The planes for my new world
Mortal Plane
------------------------
Also known as the Planar Prima, the mortal plane is the plane where most creatures dwell. It’s the core of the planes, a center where all the other planes connect. If anything were to happen to the Mortal Plane, it would destroy each of the others in turn.
Fellward
------------------------
Fiends, demons and devils, are known to call themselves Fellwalkers. Fellwalkers dwell in the Fellward or the Fell, a realm beyond our own. It is both order and chaos, a constant fight for power and authority. And yet, is that so different from the mortal realm? Fellwalkers wield the powers of their realm, burning flame and contracts. It is a violent place, but not one that’s impossible to traverse. If you are careful, it may even be fruitful. Fellwalkers are not necessarily malevolent, but are usually adherent to their contracts.
Nexus
------------------------
Where the pure elements dwell, the Nexus is divided primarily into earth, water, air, and fire, though there are other elements within serving as the barriers between the primal elements. At the center of it all is the Elemental Chaos, where all the elements blend together in a dangerous, violent storm. It’s also one of the best places to find fragments of extreme elemental power, if you’re willing to risk it for that biscuit. Elementals who live here typically stay within their own elemental zone, but the City of Storms, located between Air and Water, is a popular trade depot within the Nexus.
Divine Sea
------------------------
The home of the gods, the Divine Sea is an endless plane of divine energy, with islands ruled by each individual god. Swimming through the sea are various semi-divine entities, such as celestials and demi-gods. It’s difficult for mortals to enter the Divine Sea, but not impossible. Portals were opened by Edasaris long ago, and the most common way of finding a door is by sailing a ship to undiscovered portions of ocean. As such, her island is also the easiest island to find, Isla Tempest. That being said, Tempelin is the most welcoming of those who find Inkwell Island.
Wyrdwyld
------------------------
A plane of fey folk, the Wyrdwyld is a place where chaos reigns, and yet somehow is plagued with difficult to understand rules and etiquette. It’s also a realm deeply favored by Zelis and Tempelin, leading the place to being whimsical and dream like. The fey here live in kingdoms, with the major courts being The Seasonal Courts, The Court of Day, and the Court of Night. But there are several smaller courts. The Wyrdwyld is fairly easy to access, given that fey folk love traveling to the Planar Prima.
Void
------------------------
The void is the space between what is and what should be. It is the darkness from which all life spreads, and that which connects one world to another. It is the emptiness between stars and between people. No mortal can access the Void, not truly. To do so is to end your own mortality, whether that means dying or becoming something… else. Strange things lurk within the Void. Unknowable things that are just yearning to be known, even if it drives you mad.
Spirit Realm
------------------------
The Spirit Realm is where the dead wait to either be taken to their resting place, or processed for reincarnation. Most dead are processed and sent to the divine domain of their god, but some go directly for reincarnation. Sometimes, spirits return from these domains for their reincarnation. Rarely, but not entirely uncommon, spirits set up permanent ‘lives’ within the Spirit Realm’s cities. The Spirit Realm’s cities are centered around large Registration complexes, which offer the only order to the otherwise relaxed and slightly chaotic streets of the dead.

❄️ Do you enjoy winter conditions? 🧊 I’ve been making the most of colder conditions to get out walking and hiking more. Also to start training ahead of my Three Peaks Challenge this year for @railwaychildren.uk A couple of weeks back @michaeljaustin93 and I headed out to Helvellyn fully geared up for a winters day and it certainly delivered. 🏔 🥾 🧊 With the shorter days we wanted an early dart but it was an eventful start. We realised at 11 pm the night before that Michael had sold his long boot crampon bars. we met up earlyish to dart to a shop (it was a Sunday so most didn’t open till 10). We ended up buying the wrong bars in Keswick but luckily the little outdoor shop in Glenridding had our back. We got up Helvellyn to the spectacular view of cloud ☁️😂 but what a day! Definitely one to remember and fun was had all round. . . . . . . . #mountaineering #mountaineeringlife #mountaineers #mountainlife #mountainview #mountainphotography #mountaineeringtraining #mountainfit #mountainwalk #mountainwalking #fellwalking #fellwalkinginthelakes #mountainphoto #mountains #mountain #hiking #hikinguk #hikingadventures #winterwonderland #winterwalks #winterwalk #climbing #climb #helvellyn #helvellynmountain #stridingedge #swirraledge #britishwinter #tmptrail100 #themountainpeople (at Striding Edge, Helvellyn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CY6zb_sNOgM/?utm_medium=tumblr

Adventure In England: Final Episode
Oh boy, folks; prepare yourselves, this is going to be a long one.
On our second to last full day in England, we went for a long hike, starting in Windermere and winding our way through farms and over the hills in the Lake District. The morning started with a prediction (100% chance, in fact) for rain starting later in the morning, but we decided to brave it and get out there anyway.
The clouds (and humidity) started to slowly roll in as we neared our lunch destination in Troutbeck, but luckily they still held off on producing any moisture. If anything they added to the incredible views, creating a much different, and moodier, type of atmosphere for our hike.
Our pitstop for lunch was at The Mortal Man, where we enjoyed some simple sandwiches on incredibly fresh and delicious bread, and of course, local beer. The Mortal Man has been in existence since 1689, making it even more incredible that we were eating lunch on their grounds.
After lunch we continued on, starting out on Nanny Lane. It was kind of surreal walking on that country lane, as I imagine it hasn't changed much in quite a long time, and countless people have walked it before us.
Eventually we ventured off the lane and made our way up the hills, crossing over the old stone walls as we went. It is mind-boggling how many miles of those walls must exist, zig-zagging all over the countryside, and how they were all built by hand over the years.
We ended the day in Ambleside, after hiking close to 10 miles. Ambleside was a beautiful little (albeit touristy) town, with some stunning homes, and of course lots of history. We wandered around a little bit, treated ourselves to a beer at one of the pubs, and then ice cream and fudge at a local shop as well. We even stopped at the Roman Ruins that are in Ambleside, which was absolutely amazing to see.
After all that, we began the walk to the bus stop and the moment we stepped onto the bus the skies opened up, letting loose a full downpour. The timing couldn't have been a second better, and even put a nice exclamation point on the end of our time in the Lake District.
The next morning we jumped on yet another train, this time for a long ride headed to London. We had that evening to see the sites in London, though I didn't bring my camera with for that adventure. If you want to see images from that, be sure to follow me on Instagram (@aithom2), where I will be posting some images over the next few days.
