Kise sama sekali tidak pernah menyangka Akashi punya tempat seperti itu. Ya, Kise tahu keadaan keuangan keluarga Akashi. Ya, Kise paham benar kalau Akashicchi-nya sangat bisa memiliki kediaman lebih dari satu di luar Kyoto. Tapi di luar Jepang? Di sebuah pulau kecil di bagian tenggara benua Asia? Tidak, Kise tidak pernah berpikir sampai ke sana. Kise juga tidak pernah menyangka kalau Akashi juga mengajaknya ke sana untuk liburan.

Kolam renang itu berbentuk kotak. Tentu saja. Tak ada yang aneh dengan bentuknya. Kise hanya tidak tahu dinding tak kasat mata seperti apa yang menahan air itu tetap pada tempatnya, ketika bahkan ujungnya saja tidak bisa Kise lihat. Di bagian tengah kolam renang itu ada sebuah ceruk berbentuk lingkaran. Di dalam ceruk itu ada tempat duduk yang mengelilingi sebuah meja kecil. Ada beberapa bantal tergeletak tampak beraturan di tempat duduk yang melingkar itu. Kalau bukan karena air di kolam renang yang mengelilinginya, Kise melihat tempat duduk melingkar itu sebagai tempat pertemuan keluarga atau semacamnya. Ada sebuah parit kecil yang melingkar di bagian luar tempat duduk di ceruk itu. Ke situlah air akan mengalir setiap ada gelombang yang menggerakkan air di kolam itu. Kecuali Kise sengaja memercikkan air ke mana-mana, bagian tempat duduknya tidak akan basah dari air di sekitarnya.

Entah arsitek beruntung mana yang Akashi sewa untuk merancang tempat itu. Tapi sebuah tempat bersantai yang posisinya ada di bawah permukaan air kolam renang? Baiklah, Kise harus memastikan hal gila – tapi jenius – itu ide Akashi atau bukan.

Kise hanya bersandar di ujung kolam itu dan memperhatikan garis pembatas antara permukaan bumi dan langit yang bisa dia lihat dari posisinya. Senja membawa matahari bergerak pelan kembali ke peraduan. Tak cukup gelap untuk disebut malam, tapi tak lagi terik untuk menyilaukan. Warna langit saat itu bersemu oranye, perpaduan antara merah dan kuning.

Akashi dan Kise.

"Kau bisa masuk angin, Ryouta."

Suara itu menarik Kise kembali dari lamunannya. Kise menoleh. Dia tersenyum sebelum menggunakan kedua kakinya untuk mendorongnya, berenang mendekati ceruk dengan tempat duduk itu. Kise menggunakan kedua tangannya untuk membantu dirinya naik dan duduk di pinggiran ceruk itu. Dari belakang, Akashi memelukkan sebuah handuk besar di bahu Kise, sebelum menggunakan handuk lain yang lebih kecil untuk membantu Kise mengeringkan rambutnya.

"Terima kasih, Akashicchi," kata Kise. Dia tertawa kecil merasakan sepasang tangan Akashi di balik handuk yang mengusap pelan rambutnya.

"Kau senang?" tanya Akashi seraya merendahkan posisinya, berbicara tepat di samping telinga Kise. Akashi bisa merasakan tubuh Kise sedikit bergetar. Apakah itu karena angin bertiup pelan, atau karena tubuh Kise belum benar-benar kering, atau karena suaranya, Akashi hanya tersenyum. Apapun penyebabnya, dia bisa melihat telinga Kise memerah.

"Sejak kapan?" tanya Kise.

"Apanya?"

"Rumah ini?"

"Dua tahun."

"Sudah selama itu?" Kise menoleh.

"Rencana pembangunannya? Ya. Rencana merahasiakannya darimu? Tidak, sampai aku mendapatkan ini untukmu," kata Akashi sambil mengulurkan tangan kanannya dari belakang Kise, sampai membuat Kise menoleh, dan melihat kotak kecil berbahan bludru berwarna merah marun itu.

Dengan ibu jarinya, Akashi membuka tutup itu, dan menunjukkan sebuah cincin platina di dalamnya. Akashi bisa mendengar Kise menarik napas. "Maafkan aku," kata Akashi pelan, sambil tersenyum, masih di dekat telinga Kise. "Karena sudah merencanakan bulan madunya lebih dulu…"

Kise berbalik dan memeluk Akashi.
