I don’t use neopronouns myself but I think I’m more open to them than some of my peers because of this

i was struck by a realization and i need to yell it into the void
i am being dead fucking serious when i say this: anyone who is seriously still against pronouns of all things because "they is plural" "you cant just change the dictionary" "now you're just making shit up" needs to read frindle. like did you guys SERIOUSLY not read frindle as kids. READ FRINDLE.

Talking with @barbarosabee about how there’s no real synonym for “owlish” / “owlishly”, and they remarked on how there also needs to be a word for that frog-like blink people do where you just look kinda stupefied, one eye is a little slower than the other so they don’t blink together, and you can practically hear the little squish sound of each blink like in Spongebob
So I present a word to describe this kind of blink: phibious.
Examples? Oh sure I got those.
“The statement was merely received with a phibious look, and he sighed in frustration.”
“Stella blinked phibiously—she knew Daphne was speaking plain English, but not a word of it was making sense.”
Go forth and prosper 🐸

Do you read any books? If so, what are your favs?
I do read books but no one’s gonna like which ones 😂
I also don’t get attached to books the way I do tv and movies like I read a book and am like “that sure was a book!” And move on
So that being said the only books I can call my favorites are twilight and vampire academy because those were MY books in middle/high school
I also just reread the notebook and cried… no one’s gonna like that im a Nicholas sparks girlie too 😂 dear John had me fucked UP first time I read it but I did not cry when I reread it recently. Still a good book tho
I’m in the middle of rereading/finishing the sookie stackhouse series and those are fun

English teachers be like:
There are five sentence types:
Declarative-You should use good grammar.
Imperative-Use good grammar, Stacy.
Interrogative-Why don’t you use good grammar?
Exclaminatory-How dare you not use good grammar!
And Accusative-I hate you.

I will be reminded of books anywhere
A couple of weeks ago I was watching Quinton Reviews' final video on Sam and Cat (go watch it, it's great) and at some point Quinton and a friend are watching a movie and discussing it. The movie was called Swindle and it was based off a book.
At first I thought I knew what this book was and read it. After a few minutes of researching i realized I was wrong.
Another book I read in the fifth grade was a book called Frindle by Andrew Clements. You can probably guess why I got these two books confused.
These two books are completely different. They just have similar sounding names.

An inspiring tale of a fourth-grader who fights back when her favorite book is banned from the school library--by starting her own illegal locker library! It all started the day Amy Anne Ollinger tried to check out her favorite book in the whole world, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, from the school library. That's when Mrs. Jones, the librarian, told her the bad news: her favorite book was banned! All because a classmate's mom thought the book wasn't appropriate for kids to read. Amy Anne decides to fight back by starting a secret banned books library out of her locker. Soon, she finds herself on the front line of an unexpected battle over book banning, censorship, and who has the right to decide what she and her fellow students can read. Reminiscent of the classic novel Frindle by Andrew Clements for its inspiring message, Ban This Book is a love letter to the written word and its power to give kids a voice.

Hiii!! Sorry if this is weird but I know you've helped people find books before, so I was wondering if you or your followers could help me find one?
I read it around the same age range as frindle and it was this book about a kid who started selling little comics in his school class, even got a whole production line going for it and I remember distinctly a scene where the girl rival started selling comics too and he ripped one up and realized she was drawing them all by hand instead of copying them on a machine.
I don't remember much else but I hope that's enough!!
Ooh I think I can help with this one - is it Lunch Money by Andrew Clements?
