I had a thought that made me chuckle:
A DC au where all the characters exist in the world of Naruto, they have the same personality but now are Shinobi. The only thing is that the Bat-Fam are like Rock Lee and can't mold Chakra. Bruce refused to learn the 8 gates because of its drawback
Damien bullies Kisame and steals Samehada as a trophy
Dick wears a shinobi version of the Discowing suit (someone please draw that i beg you)
Jason's death is more like Obito but its Ra's Al Ghul instead of Madara
Tim sneaks into Bruce's house to force Bruce to make him a robin and train him
Stephanie steals the Kinjutsu scrolls just to swap them with copies of Jiraiya's books (she puts the scrolls somewhere safe and tells the Hokage)
Barbara gets in a fight with some random Shinobi and recites their socal security number (idk if they have social security numbers in Naruto but humor and story trump all)
Duke sings a rap song with Killer Bee
Bruce beats up Danzo after learning about the Root and his involvement in the Uchiha Massacre
Cassandra works with team 7 to get Kakashi to remove his mask

Hate it when certain people that are pro Kishimoto/pro whatever the story is trying to tell are using it to spew anti Uchiha bs, when the narrative itself goes out of its way to disprove or provide an extended explanation for the Uchiha that paints them in a more nuanced light.
The Uchihas were planning a coup, yes, but it was a tragedy that was locked in by Danzou's bs--HE is painted as the primary culprit here apart from Obito. And several people, including MINATO and Hiruzen himself, explicitly expressed regret or thought that it could've been avoided. It was even mentioned as a darkness within the village.
That isn't even mentioning how the leaders of the coup within the clan itself, Fugaku and Mikoto, were treated with dignity in their deathbeds instead of being painted as...well, otherwise.
The clan was manipulated by the same entity that manipulated a good chunk of Shinobi history to do his bidding since its inception. Maybe this gives credence to anti Uchiha narrative in their eyes, but if anything else, that makes them victims for me.
The pain and suffering the Uchihas went through was validated; the hurt that Obito, Sasuke, and to an extent Madara faced, and the discrimination of the Uchiha by the higher ups was seen and treated as significant tragedies. The story didn't--at least SOLELY--paint them as being self-centered for being broken by their trauma.
As an example, heroic characters like Hashirama and Naruto both express sympathy for the clan and are unfailingly attached to certain Uchihas. And the narrative doesn't really treat it as something they should get over--yes, certain characters may reprimand them within the story, but the story ITSELF treats it as genuine devotion (Naruto) and/or healthy respect (Hashirama). Hashirama mentioned how Madara loved his brothers above anything else and Naruto outright said that he UNDERSTOOD where Sasuke was coming from in wanting to destroy the village.
They are mentioned as the clan that loves like no other. No other clan loved as deeply as the Uchihas. The "Curse of Hatred" MAY be a truth, but the deep hate came from deep grief which spawned from DEEP LOVE. Imagine trying to criticize the clan by using the story when the story itself outright mentioned them as being THE most loving people in the story and that that love is what drove them to extremes. In the same series that put emphasis on the treasure of bonds and love.
While most major Uchiha characters have succumbed to this "Curse of Hatred", they are shown to not immediately be a lost cause no matter the increasing severity of their crimes. They are either redeemed (Obito, Sasuke) or admit to their wrongs in their deathbed and peacefully pass away (Madara) . They also have closure with the people close to them--Sasuke to Itachi, Obito to Rin, Madara to Hashirama. This goes back to what I mentioned beforehand, their pain is validated by the story. And as an extension to that, their ideologies and perceptions about the world are not treated as being completely incorrect--a lot of fans would certainly agree, even if the methods they went about it are. Yes, they are the treated as the wrong party, but they are also treated as a wronged party.
And then they cherry pick panels that somehow "support" THEIR narrative and say they're looking at it from an objective point in the story lmao. And then they pull a 180 when talking about the non-Uchiha villains lol.
And then they're almost all Tobirama fans :| I don't hate Tobirama but why the fuck is it always his stans; "he's not racist!" and then they proceed to say anti Uchiha stuff to DEFEND him----what is it? Is he racist or not? Is he racist and you agree with his SUPPOSED racism or not?
oh so HE isn't but you are? Got it.
P.S. Not to say that the series is perfect in its portrayals, because it does have some flaws regardless. But I wanted to give my take.

About Danzo's death
I know there are a lot of people that when talking about whether Danzo's actions were truly motivated by his desire to protect Konoha, might bring up his self-sacrifice at the very end to kill "Madara" and Sasuke as proof that he was willing to die in order to defend the Leaf. But I would like to point out that he only did that once it became obvious that he was going to die no matter what he did. He had a newly-healed Sasuke pursuing him from behind, "Madara" approaching from the front, and to his sides were drops of hundreds of feet off a bridge, into a river. And he was rapidly bleeding out from stab wounds to 2 vital organs. He was fucked, no matter what he did. And mind you, before "Madara" appeared right in front of him to block off his escape route, he was desperately trying to run away, staggering pathetically because of the pain in his wounds. He's a coward who only seemed to make the self-sacrificial play when his death was already unavoidable. Sure, he could've begged. But he knew his pleas would be rejected, with Sasuke right there behind him. He could've jumped off the sides, but he'd die anyway as the water would prevent the blood coming from his wounds from clotting, and he obviously didn't have the strength anymore to get out of the river after the fact. He couldn't jump upwards, as both "Madara" and Sasuke could just cut him off. And going through the bridge, even if he did have the power left to destroy the section of bridge he was standing on (and that's a big if considering his physical condition), would've just ended up the same as if he jumped over the sides. He's a coward, but he's a logical one. So presented with no more options that would allow his survival, he tried to take down his assailants with him. His "self-sacrifice" play was less of a noble sacrifice and more of a petty "If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me". Based on his attempt to run away from Sasuke right before that, it's obvious that if given the choice between self-sacrifice for the good of the village, and survival, he'd always choose survival. He just no longer had the option of survival and he recognized that. For all his talk of self-sacrifice for the village, his actions undermine his words and always have. He was more dedicated to his own ambitions, and the *appearance* of devotion to the village, than he actually was devoted to the village.

Part 2 of my single dad Minato au and what happens to the Uchiha clan
I think Minato would have initially prevented the massacre largely by preventing the isolation Danzo tried to cause by stopping his efforts to basically exile the Uchiha to the far edge of the village to sequester the clan. He’d do this largely with Fugaku’s help by maintaining a good relationship with him and through that, the other members of the clan.
But here’s when things can still get messed up.
Despite the positive relationship Minato has with Fugaku, Danzo is not going to be stopped that easily and he’s a manipulative fucking bastard so it’s highly possibly he might have still succeeded in secretly pulling off the massacre using root and by aiding Obito (who’s being manipulated by Madara) in slaughtering the military portion of the Uchiha Clan by directly attacking the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters (this is what happened in canon). Danzo would make it look like it was all Obito’s doing. No one knows about the Akatsuki yet. Minato and Fugaku would have been able to avoid Itachi from being manipulated by Danzo so he doesn’t have a part in the massacre.
They might have done this during a time when Minato wasn’t in the village (maybe meeting the Kage’s of other nations) so he’s not there to help. Shinobis from other clans would have been alerted of the massacre much earlier and helped but many of the civilians would have still been killed by the time they get there(As the leader of the clan and the Uchiha military police force, Fugaku would almost definitely die because both Danzo and Obito would have made sure of it). It’s also still possible that Danzo manages to discreetly kill Shisui before this to steal the unique powers his eyes specifically have. The Uchiha would be severely weakened due to losing their police force and possibly many chunin since they’d also be fighting to try and stop the massacre before all the civilians were killed. So the chunin would have been targeted. Few would have survived, among them being Itachi and Sasuke of course (Itachi would have made damn sure no one would even get close to his little brother)
Ok too long. Part 3 for Sasuke and Naruto’s story from here. Part 1 here

I really don't even hate any Naruto characters, but Danzo. Madara is the big bad, but Danzo is the equivalent to Umbridge, and I loathe her.

I've been thinking a lot about Sai (one of my favorite characters) and I kinda built up this concept where Sai is the embedded parallel of Sasuke for Naruto and Team Seven in general. Like he offers a new perspective for the team as a whole but also shares characteristics aside from the obvious physical similarities to Sasuke that build on the story. I feel like these characteristics and similarities are way too consistent and obvious to be coincidence. I feel like Sai was purposely created and shaped around Sasuke and the state he left Team Seven in. He also serves as a reflection for Naruto to keep Sasuke's image and memory alive and at the same time progress their relationship even from a distance.
My main points to support this concept are as follows:
We are introduced to Sai early on in Shippuden. This is after we establish the first meeting with Sasuke since he left the village. It's the following realization Naruto experiences when Sasuke won't simply return to the village with him.
Sai joins to complete the traditional three man team but also proves to be very different to Sasuke. Where both easily accepted Sasuke, Sai is a much more challenging personality for both to initially open up to. We also know Danzo specifically assigned Sai a private mission to learn of and pursue Sasuke on his own. In other words, Sai and Sasuke were already tied to each other.
Even though Sai works towards the mission Danzo assigned him he eventually gains his own interest in Naruto and Sasuke's bond. He who struggles with emotions and relationships due to his upbringing latches on to their example and comes to the conclusion that it's something to treasure. Where Sai helps Naruto to continue his search and struggle towards Sasuke, Naruto helps Sai open his mind and break away from the trauma he has internalized.
On the topic of trauma. Sai's can be said to be similar to both Naruto and Sasuke in the sense that he was left alone at a very young age. He was also negatively influenced by the Leaf village that left him under Danzo's abuse. We know Naruto was allowed to be shunned while Sasuke's whole clan was premeditatedly commited genocide against. Similar to the boys, Sai also then forms a bond that unfortunately is broken as I'll mention in a second.
Compared more Directly to Sasuke
Sai was trained to conquer his emotions to the point where he is traumatized and struggles to regain a sense of individuality by the time we meet him in Shippuden. On the contrast Sasuke's clan thrives off of emotion which is what triggers their most renowned power. Itachi constantly instigated highly stressful and emotional experiences for Sasuke for the same reason
Sai shared a very strong bond with his "brother" who he grew up with in the anbu suborganization 'Root'. This one and only bond was shattered when he lost Shin. This relationship can be seen to mirror the worst case scenario that Naruto fought to avoid until the moment he finally fought Sasuke.
IN SUMMARY Sasuke and Sai can be considered parallels to a certain point. The inclusion of Sai to the team and series as a whole can be said to have been in order to move the story along in a way that keeps Sasuke in mind by contrasting their situations. Additionally, we know Sai takes particular interest in Naruto and his bond with Sasuke that he so seriously tries to understand.

It kinda kills me that we don't know what happened to the bodies after the Uchiha massacre. Like what did the village do with them? Danzo got his hands on some of the Uchiha to steal their eyes but like,, the clan was pretty big. They ran the entire police force themselves which would be at least like 100-150 personnel just in active duty; this plus their spouses, the Genin/Chuunin still in training, civilians that ran the shops in the district, retired workers/Shinobi, the elderly, and the children,,, there would've been hundreds of corpses to deal with. If they all died the same night and Sasuke was their only next of kin but also a 7 year old child who was hospitalised while the compound was cleared out,, who got to decide what happened to the bodies? Did the council just get to do whatever they wanted with the clan's remains? You know, the council that planned the massacre?
The Uchiha had their own religion and they would have had funeral rights for their dead so,,, did they get those rights? We never see Sasuke at any sort of memorial or grave for his family, and for someone who clearly loves their clan a lot, Sasuke would take care of their resting place if they had one. It's just so upsetting that after slaughtering the Uchiha so the village wouldn't have to take accountability for you know,,, treating them like absolute shit, no one in Konoha even cares enough to give them the bare minimum respect in death. They what? Just let Danzo take the ones he wanted so he could harvest their eyes and just dumped the rest of the Uchiha in an unmarked mass grave somewhere? The whole village had a state-wide memorial when the Kyuubi attack happened and the same later on when Orochimaru invaded but they couldn't even bother with some sort of funeral service after the genocide of one of their own clans? The genocide that they ordered themselves?? Like it's just so fucking insulting.
