Fanart for the k-drama Mask Girl!! This show really blew me away with its characters, cinematography and storytelling. Someday I’d love to do an analysis of it’s spectacular use of color symbolism. 😍❤️
Main Cast: #Nana #LeeHanByeol #GoHyunJung #YeomHyeRan
Episodes: 7
Platform: Netflix
I'm fresh off this one and I have to say it was excellent!!!! All three of the main actresses playing Kim Mo Mi were amazing and of course I am a bit biased towards Nana as she is one of my favorite actresses. That being said newcomer Lee Han Byeol hit it out of the park, it's hard to believe this is her first part. The story follows Kim Mo Mi over the years through various stages of life. And what a terribly poor life it was. Trashed for her looks, sexually assaulted, stalked, and so much more 😢 I actually felt sorry for her quite a bit. I did love seeing Nana going crazy on the bullies in the yard though! I felt the ending was very sad just like her life. Overall it was fantastic though. I would definitely 100% recommend this!
MATURING IS REALISING: The Moms were the real villains in mask girl.
i think parents play such a big role in the growth of a child and how they turn out as an adult, at some point kim mo mi mentioned her mom never called her pretty, imagine how sad that is for a little girl.
p.s. oh nam was also a certified weirdo so he sucks too.
Considering this is an oldie kdrama, 2005, to be exact, nuttiness and cliche’ness is going to be expected. You know the average amnesia, love triangle, rich boy/poor girl, nasty parent sort of deal. For me I love the old classic dramas so I don’t mind the overdramatic moments which this can seem to be dialed up to a hundred. It’s also nice to see all the actors in their younger years, Jo In Sung was just as brilliant in his early twenties as he is now, as well as Ji Jin Hee, Go Hyun Jung, Han Go Eun. I will add it does have one of the most long LONG looooooong frustrating love triangles ever and the female lead is written in a way where sometimes you just want to throttle her.
I'm one episode before the ending of Moraeshigye and ... I feel so weird. I have been watching it on and off for about a year but I'm so emotionally attached to Taesoo and Hyerin I can't let go already lmao. I know the ending already, hell, I've seen Choi Min Soo die twice in his dramas already and I don't wanna watch the ending
Also fuck SBS for not including the kiss scene in the episode. How do you miss the most heartbreaking part of the drama? I didn't even have to wath and their voices just felt like honey to my ears. Whew. goddamn.
Just watched and finished this shocking kdrama called Masked Girl. No, I have not read the WEBTOON and when I had watched I thought it was gonna be about a girl changing her life after she had gotten plastic surgery.
Didn’t know that it was gonna turned into this thriller type of kdrama and boyyyyy was it good af ? Like I finished it in one which is rare for me maybe it’s because it’s only 7 episodes? Lol. If you like thriller and cruel kdramas, this one is definitely for you!
