aria montgomery deserved better 2kforever like. in these first two seasons, her relationship with ezra is hard to watch (in more ways than one! i sometimes find myself rooting for them not to get caught, largely because i like and have sympathy for aria but also because the actors do genuinely have good chemistry. but then i remember how fucked up it is! that’s why the romanticization of this relationship was so dangerous!) - anyway. it was hard to watch and messy but she also had like. other things in her story that at least made her feel like a more fleshed out character. and i always see people saying things about how she’s not as kind as she acts like but she literally shows so much empathy to. most people. and her role as a psuedo caretaker/fixer in her family is so nuanced and interesting and informs a lot of how she interacts with ezra (she feels like she’s been forced into a more adult role, so she courts this adult ‘romance’. ugh.) and it legitimately could have been a nuanced and interesting story about family dynamics and the pressure on teenage girls in their roles in family and how that can be connected to grooming if it had been written that way but!!!!

anyway her story just becomes more and more entangled with Only Being About Ezra from what i remember. which is one of the reasons people kept theorizing about her being A but. i just see it as isolation (not total, she is obviously still very close with her friends, but there is a sort of disconnect.) and then they get MARRIED????? she deserved better for real.

What is Corrective Grooming? I've never hear of it before. Is it a stricter regular grooming to keep the doga clean?

Corrective grooming is when the dog's hair is cut and/or sculpted to change the structural appearance of a dog. It can also include: dying or tattooing flesh that is "unideal" or faulty for the standard and chalking/dying fur to make it look neater or fit the standard better.

Imo corrective grooming is a VERY bad thing because what conformational showing is supposed to be about is an evaluation of the dog as breeding stock, how the dog looks structurally, and how the dog conforms to the written standard from a visual standpoint. Hiding faults tells us nothing about the dog underneath and ensures that faults and undesirable structure continue to be passed on to offspring.

Dear hockey fans, you're probably not going to like this, and hell this is probably going to be buried, but someone needs to fucking say it. If you don't feel like reading this post, here's a TL;DR: Using SA and SA survivors as an argument or a form of trash talk *and* sending death threats to fans of team you don't like *really* isn't the "fuck hockey culture" move you think it is. If you do, however, want to read this post, let's get straight to the point. Stop fucking dragging SA survivors into your fucking rants or discussions about why you hate certain hockey teams and why you hate their fans. Yes, even if you're a survivor yourself! SA survivors don't exist just to fucking be a fucking argument point (let alone an argument at all). And not every SA survivor needs to hear or read about how they're the subject of how much you hate a certain fucking team. Hell, I'm pretty sure Beach himself doesn't need to be reminded of his trauma every 24/7 (and this is if he even browses sites like twitter). That, and yall are kind of hypocritical about it too. The Penguins AHL team also got a lawsuit about a sexual assault that occurred, the suit being filed around the same time as the Hawks shitshow was going on, and yet nobody has fucking batted an eye. There's also something about Mario Lemieux staying silent about an assault case as well, and yet he's getting praised as well. "You can focus on two things at once-" Then fucking do so because I haven't seen ANY conversation about it at all. NONE. Also, to think that the lottery is "rewarding" them is nonsensical. The lottery is fucking RANDOMIZED. It could've gone either way. It's ALWAYS been that way. And probably ALWAYS will be unless the lottery system's replaced. Lastly, and perhaps the one irritating me the most, and this one definitely applies to everyone (including hawks fans), QUIT. FUCKING. HARASSING THE FANS OVER THIS SHIT. AND QUIT FUCKING SAYING VILE SHIT ABOUT BEDARD AND OTHER PLAYERS AS WELL. This shouldn't have to be said, but this happens way too fucking often so it needed to be said. Seriously. I get hating a team. Hell, I get disliking a fanbase even lmfao. But if you have to resort to sending death threats or even *rape* threats, sorry but you're not helping anyone. You're not changing hockey culture. You're just a piece of shit. Plain and simple. This isn't me trying to be being dismissive. This isn't me trying to defend the Hawks (Because yes they need to be called out on it and some their fans have also been shitty about this). You have *every* right to be angry at the organization. You have every right to be angry at management. You have every right to hate them even. Hell, I don't like the Hawks either. But at the same time, it's *really* not worth bringing up over something like a fucking DRAFT LOTTERY. That's just fucking shitty, especially when you go an harass other fans for being HAPPY that they got the first overall. Now if a fan is genuinely being shitty, call them out on it (Or better yet, block them!), but even then that's not an excuse to fucking send death threats or harassment. Seriously. I get it. It's a touchy subject. But at the end of the day, what's done is done, and the best we can do is try our best to find other ways to support survivors and whatnot. Sincerely, a fed up grooming survivor.

So, I'm not sure if anyone has thought of this already, but has anyone ever thought about a Sportarobbie Pet Groomer AU?

Picture this:

Robbie brings in his rescued mixed breed Sugarpie to Sport's Spotless Pets Grooming Salon (talk about about over the top, but that's Sportacus for ya, lmao). After giving the name a questioning look, he walks inside and up to the front counter.

Sportacus hears the bell of the door and yells from the backroom that he'll be out in front in a moment. Robbie tells him to take his time while he takes in the surroundings of the salon, smiling as he looks down at Sugarpie.

Only when he hears a voice talking, does he finally look up from his cute pooch, and up to the- whoa. Attractive man at the counter.

"Hi! Welcome to Sport's Spotless Pets! How can I help you?"

"By giving me your number... I mean! Your business number!... so... if I like it... I can come again!"

Sportacus laughs slightly as he points at the small business card holder, and upon doing so, is able to look over the counter just enough to see Sugarpie. Sportacus comes out from behind the counter with an 'awww' and asks who cutie is, which then prompts Robbie to accidentally blurt out, "I don't know, what is his name?" while giving Sportacus a lovesick look.
