I swore I would never ride the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at California Adventure ever again... but since I'm moving, I figured let's do things I may never get a chance to do again... (please watch. I put myself through so much for this)

It’s so important to me how they included Dog Days in Volume 3.
The soundtrack across all the movies has always been super nostalgic older songs. This was reflective of the Guardians themselves. They were all stuck thinking about their older days. About their pasts. They all had something that they couldn’t let go of and couldn’t move on from. It trapped all of them in pain.
But Dog Days is a pivotal moment. It’s a modern song. Across the movies, each of the Guardians have been healing from their pasts and learning how to move on and live their lives. They’ve accepted what has happened to them, but they now understand that it does not define them. They can finally stop letting other people and events have control over their lives. This is their own story. No one else’s. And they get to decide how that story goes and what they want their life to be.
The soundtracks are reflective of this. They go up by a decade each movie.
Everyone going their separate ways in the end to pursue their own lives was the final step in that process.
Furthermore, the fact that Rocket is the one to put on the song means even more. He’s arguably the one most hurt and affected by his past. He couldn’t let go like the others could. He refused to open up about it to anyone, believing he deserved to stay trapped in that pain. But this movie is all about him learning how to move on and live again. He doesn’t have to forget about what happened, but he doesn’t have to continually punish himself for it. Him playing this song shows that the last of the Guardians are finally ready to embrace change.
He’s done running. They all are.
The way everyone in the theater gasped when I saw it and that song came on proves how pivotal of a moment that is.
I've grown to be exhausted of the MCU. like I have no interest in seeing anything that comes out anymore. It feels almost bloated now, after Endgame. A lot of it is bland and feels too much like military propaganda. Marvel girl had style to it i guess. But I generally don't care for it like I did when I was younger.
But the moment I saw that funky raccoon again I'm like FUCK!!! ROCKET!! MY BOY ROCKET!!! IT'S ROCKET RACOON!!! ugh cris pratt.... THIS ONE IS ABOUT ROCKET!!!!! I GOTTA GO SEE ROCKET RACOON!!! MY BESTIE ROCKET!!!

The exterior of Disney California Adventure Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout is transformed during the Halloween Season. Sometimes the best part of Disneyland is just watching. Some would consider the B-Roll footage; I consider it so much more.

(KICKS DOWN DOOR) HI YES HELLO HI! MY SWEET BAEKER
The Foxes Take Disney (the sound of reverie) PLEASE!!! - @jtl-fics
HELLO MY DEAREST!!!
Here's a bit of Neil riding his first roller coaster (and my favorite ride at Disney !!!)
Neil had told Andrew that he didn't have to go on the ride with him, but Andrew had just rolled his eyes and pushed him through the turnstile into the queue. Neil knew Andrew didn't like heights so he had given him an opportunity to sit it out, but he also knew that Andrew would suffer through the biggest drops if it meant keeping Neil in his line of sight. It was sweet, even if Neil thought he was being a little ridiculous. Security at Disney was more strict than some 'high security' buildings he'd snuck into during his time on the run.
Luckily for Andrew, this particular ride didn't have any particularly large drops. It does, however, go incredibly fast, according to the Disney blogs Kevin had made them read on the way over. Neil knows Andrew loves to drive fast in the Mas, so he hoped his need for speed applied to theme park rides as well. Neil wasn't exactly sure what to expect, if he was being honest. He had always thought of roller coasters as the rickety old things he saw on tv or in movies, and he certainly never thought he would ever ride one.
This particular ride was based on some superhero movie that Matt had tried to get him to watch, but he hadn't really paid attention because Andrew had fallen asleep on his shoulder and was warm and solid against his side. It was hard to pay attention to most things when Andrew was touching him. Neil still enjoyed himself, even if he didn't really know the characters or the storyline. A disco song played throughout the ride that reminded him of his mother, and it would've been jarring if Andrew’s vice-like grip on his hand hadn't kept him in the moment. It was hard to fall into bad memories when he didn't know up from down as they zoomed through twists and turns and round planets while Andrew gripped him tight.
He let out involuntary whoops and giggles and he felt a rush he never knew he could feel off an exy court. For a small, surreal moment, he felt like a child; he felt like he was flying.
