Happy Birthday!

@missthingmessenger Anna! Happy Birthday! You are an amazing writer and a wonderful person. Your writing always makes my day brighter and happier even when you write an angst and make suffering our precious babies :(. Your blog is a place where people always feel welcomed. Thank you that you are you and that you enjoy to share your talent with us.

I don't know how it works in other countries, but in Russia and Latvia (where I lived the biggest part of my live) it's a tradition not only to wish happy birthday to a person, but also to make good wishes for them. So I wish you that your life would be long, bright, full of love, laugh, fluff and smutt;), that you found such dreams that was worth to achieve, had a friends that you always could trust, and that you could enjoy every day of your life. Have a wonderful birthday's celebration! Happy Birthday!

Here is a small gift from me. Two versions of your first meeting with Tom. In both versions you reached Seven's ending, but you and Seven are just friends. It was planned like hcs, but I'm not good at this, so it's looks more like short fics. Hope you'd enjoy them anyway.

The fateful meeting

He hasn't seen his neighbour Luciel more than a month. Every time Tom visited him, Luciel said that he was very busy through the closed door. So Tom is surprised when today the front door of Luciel's house opens after his call.

“Hey...” he starts to greet the moment the door is open, but before he finishes his usual greeting with name 'Jerry', he is stunned, captured by pair of dark eyes.

'Have I called to the wrong door?' Tom's brain tries to find the answer about an unexpected view in front of him. But it’s impossible to confuse the strangest Luciel's house with any other place.

'Is it a dream?' Tom thinks. It is possible. This beautiful girl with a dizzying smile can be just a dream, but he hopes that you are not. Tom secretly pinches himself, and is happy to feel a light pain, reassuring that the you aren’t his imagination.

'Can it be another Luciel's costume?' Tom tries to find another explanation. He has seen his friend in a few very convincing costumes, but he hopes this time it is not it. He looks at you from head to toes, appreciating all these curves at the right places of your body. 'No, it can't be Luciel! It shouldn't be!'

“Can I help you?” your sweet voice interrupts Tom’s thoughts. ‘This definitely isn’t Luciel’s voice!’ Tom almost sighs of relief.

“Can I see Luciel?” his mind finally proceeds to actually say something. You say “Sure”, give him another smile, and call somebody from inside of the house, “Saeyoung!” Tom is lost in a quiet admiration again.

His uncle said that he had a new prophetic dream today. Huge goldfish-shaped bread chased his uncle along corridors all night long. The uncle has said that this means Tom will have a fateful meeting today or he will lose all his money. Tom assumed that the dream was just result of too hearty dinner, but maybe the uncle was right. Maybe now is his fateful meeting.

Tom’s desperately searching for something to say, when he sees that you want to leave.

“Don’t go!” he exclaims.

‘Ooops. Did I say it aloud?’ Tom’s ashamed and feels how his cheeks becoming hotter, but you just give him amused look and smile again, “Don’t worry. I’ll just find Sae… Luciel.”

He’s lucky enough that Luciel appears earlier than you leave. “Anna Banana”, Luciel sing-songs, “Why did you leave me for so long?”

Luciel is so playful with you. ‘Wait! No way… Is she Luciel’s girlfriend?’ the unpleasant thought pop-ups in Tom’s mind. It is possible. If it was him, he definitely would ask you to date him. And Luciel… Well, he is a way cooler than Tom.

“Sae, did you miss me so much?” you say flirtatiously. “Or you just hope to win next game?” you smirk. You sound more like a rival then a girlfriend, but Tom knows too few about dating to be sure.

“I will win the next game,” Luciel states. “My dear Tom!”, he turns his attention to a neighbour. “You are playing with us! You are a part of my team.”

Tom wants to exclaim ‘No!’, but is there anybody capable to refuse Luciel. Tom sadly watches how his chance to be in the same team as you disappears, when the help from Heaven comes. Okay, maybe not from Heaven, but Tom definitely thinks about you as about an angel, when you remind Luciel that this game was planned to help him make stronger bond with his brother, and Luciel shouldn't team up with anybody against him. And… it works!

You are playing a board game, and 'Tom&Ann' team wins three times in a row. But all Tom can think about is your smiles when he got more points than Luciel, and your warm hug when you won the third time. So when Luciel offers to play cards as the same teams instead, Tom doesn't notice how the pile of Honey Buddha Chips, what you use for bets, becomes two times bigger then it was at the start of the game.

At the end of this impromptu party Tom is a winner. He still can't believe, when he gets two packs of Honey Buddha Chips from Luciel as the prize. But his more happy about another of his wins – a chance to take you home. So he offers to ride you in his car.

The first minutes in the car are too quiet and a little bit awkward, but then you start to ask him about his life, interests and his uncle. That's when Tom finds out that you are that nice party planner, who solved all his insecurities, when he was invited to RFA party. Now Tom is sure that this meeting was planed by gods. So he musters all his courage and asks you if you can meet again.

“I'll wait for it,” you say and give him your phone number. “Thank you for a nice evening,” you kiss him on a cheek and get out from the car.

Tom is stunned. He covers the cheek, where you kissed him, with his hand and, dazzled, looks at the door of the house, where you have already disappeared. He stops an urge to call you immediately and decides to wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow he'll ask you on a date. And he needs to ask Luciel, what are your favourite flowers! And maybe to ask the uncle if he have seen another prophetic dream. 'Yes, this will work.' Tom starts the engine of his car, but even when he drives, all his thoughts are still about you.

I hope this Tom wasn't too ooc or too out of how you imagine him, because I couldn't research him properly :( Hope this Anna is not too ooc too...

A new mouse

Tom is standing near the front door of a strange bunker. It's been four months since he was here the last time. The time to check, how his favourite 'mouse' is doing, has come.

Tom appreciates the little game he and the Agent 707 play. 'Cat and mouse' game. Tom always wonders if the Agent 707 knows, who is a mouse in this game. Now, when the agency of 707 is dead for a several months, and Tom's agency doesn't have to fight with them for contracts, there is no a real reason for Tom to be here. But he loves to play, so he is ready to enjoy it one more time.

The Agent 707 opens the door, wearing only bright red swimming trunks. 'Has he got a pool somewhere in his odd living place?' Tom tries to imagine this in his mind, but fails.

The ex-rival agent grin is even wider than usually, but it disappears the second the guy recognizes Tom. “Hey, Jerry,” Tom greets him cheerfully, “long time no see.” It's good to see how defensive is house owner's gaze right now. Tom really enjoys this visit.

The moment Tom thinks that things can't go any better, suddenly you enter to the hallway. You are wearing just a small white cotton shorts and a yellow top of bikini, and for a few seconds Tom just appreciates a view. 'Did the Agent 707 get himself a girlfriend?' Tom feels a little bit envious, 'I guess a life of the retired agent has it's own benefits.'

“Saeyoung, are you going to wash your cars? I won't help you if you're not coming. I'm not your maid,” your voice distracts Tom from 'sightseeing', but listen to you is almost the same way pleasant as looking. “Oh, you have a guest?” you notice Tom, and the guy gives you a sweet smile.

“Hi! I'm Tom. Luciel's neighbour.” A killing gaze of the Agent 707 almost makes Tom laugh, but he resists. “I'm Anna. Sae… Luciel's friend,” you introduce yourself, and Tom takes your hand and presses his lips to it. He almost feels how eyes of the Agent 707 bloody cut him into small pieces. Tom holds back a smirk. He asks if he can join your car wash and gets your permission. The Agent 707 almost doesn't try to stop him, and Tom sadly sighs to himself, 'I hope my Jerry isn't already dead.'

But now Tom is not so interested in his usual game. His eyes is glued on you. He appreciates the way you move while washing a car, the way water is glistering on your skin. He needs to talk more with you while he can. He is sure from burning looks, the Agent 707 gives him, that the guy will try to show Tom a door pretty soon.

So he says to you the first thing what is in his mind. “Luciel changed a lot since I've seen him last time,” even Tom doesn't expect to say something like this. And he doesn't like a soft smile on your lips, when you answer him, “Luciel quit a shitty job, it's good for him.” You talk about the Agent 707 so lovingly… 'She said that they are friends,' Tom reminds himself. But it doesn't work, and Tom keeps wondering if you want to change your relationship with the Agent 707 to something closer. 'Why this idea bothers me anyway?'

Tom admits to you that he won't mind to change his job too, and you both continue a small talk about disappointing jobs while washing a car. Tom manages to make you laugh with edited versions of his own adventures during the missions. He makes them sound like just a bad experience of an average guy looking for a job.

Tom enjoys such a light conversation till you leave a garage to take shower and make a lunch while guys are finishing to wash last car. That's when the Agent 707 threatens to wipe out all his agency and Tom himself if Tom is not leaving this house right now. Tom knows, when his prey feels cornered, and obeys his demand. It obviously that the Agent 707 and he can continue this game any other day, and now Tom is much more interested in another mouse. “Say to your pretty friend that I'd love to see her again,” Tom smirks at another deadly look he gets from the Agent 707.

Tom leaves. It's sad that he didn't get your number. But he is a hacker after all. One of the best in the world. 'Let's see, will you be able to hide her from me, Jerry.' The game begins.

I headcanon that Tom can be not so innocent and sweet as he looks like from his e-mails. Because:

How Luciel's bunker somewhere in deserted place can have neighbours?

The name Tom maybe just a disguise, because it's not Korean.

Sometimes Seven's talking about his friend Tom in a very suspicious way.

So I assume that Tom can be a secret agent too. And Seven invites him to RFA's party only because Tom already found out about it, and Seven just tries to show that this party is not really important to him.
