When Dust goes out to smoke, he expects a few minutes of peace and quiet, but forgets that he is not the only one smoking in the castle. Killer often follows him onto the balcony. The electronic cigarettes he smokes push him to talk about the eternal out loud, forcing Murder to take part in this conversation. If Dust isn't at all in the mood to tolerate his partner or he is talking outright nonsense, then he comes close to him, exhales smoke right in his face and kisses him, simultaneously extinguishing the cigarette butt on Killer’s hand. This shuts him up for a while, at least enough for one more cigarette.

Headcanon for Murder/Dust!Sans !!! (Just a thought moreso, but it's my hc now)

* He, when he said smth at the end of every lives he took; it was smth like this - “im sorry (title)”.

“I'm sorry, Snowdin Residents.” — “I'm sorry, Queen.” — “I'm sorry Royal Guard.” — “I'm sorry Royal Scientist.” — “I'm sorry, Brother.” etc etc, you get it.

Reason why, is because he doesn't want to get attached and stop himself, from doing his plan to get the human finally killed and stop playing. He doesn't even say "my brother", but he *knows* that Papyrus is his brother. He treasures him, but he is so used to seeing people dying over and over again, that.. yes it did hurt him, but he had to do it. There was no other way.

The human was obsessed with these genocide routes, and so he got used to it. But the pain will always be there. The times on where he thinks no one would die, they do. He hates it.

He wants to distance himself from that small ache in his soul. That's why he says their titles, not their names. Names are heavy, and they'll never leave. But if you go by their titles, it just seems like you know them from that way and nothing personal.

It's better like that. For him at least

Also another reason why he says "brother" instead of "my brother", is because. Who is he now? He's doing the same thing that human is doing, so is even truly fit enough to be his brother at all? He's gonna kill him, for Asgore's sake! The brother that he had, is gone.

He's a brother to someone who's long gone.

I have a lot of ideas for how i’d write my own phantoms i like to think the main hallucinations are papyrus, tori, and grillby to have a roundabout vibe of “brother, best friend, partner” since it doesnt make sense why people like undyne would hold the same emotional weight as say like, the inn shopkeeper in snowdin

toriel is an auditory hallucination with no tangible form that lurks behind doors and represents a fear of moving on (since canon dust doesnt even leave him timeline unless you literally imprison him without escape) he literally can’t move out of the room whenever she is “present” and she knocks on it and guilts him in a similar fashion to papyrus except its her tone of voice and she just wants him to “Come back, Sans,, You must protect us from my child,, You promised me,,,”

Grillby being a “comfort” to him as a partner i went on about this in another post but grillby turning on him and being an amplifier for the other hallucinations after denying him the comfort dust physically needs after being isolated in his timeline for so long.

i think he hallucinates intangible things too like the original post said, like he feels the snowdin snow and wind and the “level up” sound effects actually are sounds he hears when he’s committing the murders

I can try, sure! Naturally every fic involving DustTale's going to be tragic so prepare yourself.

Yandere! Murder Sans Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Angst, Violence, Murder, Deteriorating mental health (Sans), Mercy killing, Delusional behavior, Forced/Dubious "relationship"

I like to imagine, when it comes to this type of yandere Sans, his obsession is someone he's been close with.

Throughout countless runs he's managed to befriend you.

Y'know... when he was still Sans, or someone close to the original.

Sans wants nothing more than to just live his life with you.

But then the human came along... and the loop of Genocide Runs began.

Sans mental health already starts to go downhill when he is forced remember every run.

Even more so when he has to relive seeing his brother and partner killed.

My HC is with this AU, Sans' obsession is due to the mental decline he experiences due to the resets.

For the first few resets, he does his best to protect you and those he cares about from the human.

He really tries the first few times.

He loves you with all his SOUL... but the human gets to you eventually.

By the time of the 300+ run, Sans realizes he needs a new tactic to break the cycle.

He decides the only way to fight fire... is with fire.

Which leads to his decision to kill monsters in order to grow stronger.

Putting you in the crossfire of two killers.

Sans was most likely not yandere before the Genocide loop.

It's the huge amount of mental strain caused by all of it that makes him snap.

At first, he's just protective every reset.

Which then transitions into possessive behavior...

He tries everything from locking you away to attacking the human first.

He doesn't win... he can't win...

Each failure he deals with makes his mental state decline more and more.

Eventually he'll pull out all the stops.

Which just so happens to be him deciding killing the monsters first will give him the power he needs to face the human.

He views it as "mercy killing" when it comes to you.

If he doesn't kill you... the human will.

If you let him do it, he can at least promise you he'll be quick.

He doesn't want his partner to suffer.

However... are you even his partner, anymore?

You've noticed his change in behavior and distanced yourself.

Only Sans remembers the resets... but you can just sense something's up.

Especially when Sans decides to kill monsters before the human does.

You can run... but Sans is against it.

Don't make things harder... you're preventing the inevitable.

He'll just have to chase you now.

Sans is delusional in this state.

He thinks that you will want to help him stop the cycle in the end.

Even if it means your death.

Sure... he can see you backing away and running... but it's for the good of both of you.

After all this ends... he'll put you both in a better timeline.

You just have to trust him.

Just hold still...

He'll make sure it doesn't hurt too much because he loves you.

What doesn't make things better is when his plan fails.

Now he has to try again... and again... and again.

Poor Sans is stuck in a perpetual loop of watching his friends and partner die.

At some point... the pain won't even matter even more...

He may even get used to chasing you down and plunging a bone deep within you... is it even worth it to say sorry, anymore?

At least he can keep you to himself this way... being the one to mercy kill you over and over until the cycle stops... if it even does.

"Someday we'll love each other again... someday you'll belong to me again... someday... I'll fix things...!"

Any unusual opinions/thoughts/hc on Nightmare gang? 👀

You got me here! I'm not really a follower of the bad/star sanses movement, more like a passive observer - therefore I don't know much about them, other than general, widespread hcs. They feel like they're at that point where they belong to the fandom rather than their creators, you know?

My biggest point of contact are Nightmare and Patience (whose author I can't remember rn but you can find it on Ao3 and it's really good) and @kaygee-doodles stories, which are also fucking fantastic and very engaging.

I can give some general opinions, however! Since you're asking directly XD

My favorite one has to be Killer. Again, I don't know if the version of Killer I have in my head is anywhere near close to what OG Killer was meant to be but he's really fun and unhinged in a very fucked up way - what I enjoy the most is how people try to approach him emotionally, as well as his evolution when he is forced to face situations that clash with his inner monologue. He's hot too, and likes kitties, and he's a jerk, 100/10 relatable.

Dust is a second favorite! Though I'm heavily biased because I don't really like dusttale and the whole idea of Papyrus (or his ghost) chasing him everywhere, which kind of destroys the whole concept from the very base. I prefer considering Dust as his own little grenlin guy with several issues, and that's kinda it!

To get it out of the way (I'm sorry), I don't really care about Cross? I don't know anything about him other than there is something going on with him a cows and chocolate?? Don't ask me what, I couldn't say. I know Xtale is a huge thing but I never got into it and right now I feel like I would need a whole fucking lot of motivation to start - which mmmmm I don't really feel like doing. Kudos to him, he seems very simpy and soft.

Same with Horror - he's just Horror, you know? He's the guy from horrortale. I like him well enough and his feeding and momming tendencies are very cute if you tactfully avoid the deep truame he carries with himself. I'm always down for a Penis Party, tho, a Celebration of the Dick, an Erection Acknowledgement. You know what I mean, read Nightmare and Patience.

And then we have Nightmare himself! The goop man, the one who feeds on your bad feelings and needs to cause chaos and destroy universes to the a full belly! Unfortunately, he gets the same treatment as Cross. I know he has a thing with apples? And he's supposed to be some sort of parent/boss for the group; he likes reading and he's very serious and somewhat controlling and lives in a castle in the middle of who knows where. I think if I got invested and actually looked into it I could like him quite a bit, but I'm very lazy. He usually comes tied to Dream and all his drama, which is kind of the point, but they don't really catch my attention much.

And that should be it!

first date

The DustKiller' first full-fledged date took place in the indoor swimming pool of some hotel, which they snuck into for fun. Killer wanted to do something to please Dust after a very severe depressive episode, so the idea flared up by itself as they passed by.

There were no guards or cameras nearby, so they easily managed to get inside. The pool was empty, so while the water was filling up, they occupied the bar. Drunk, they danced to the music that Killer had turned on on his phone, and chatted a lot about nothing, and then went for a swim in the pool without clothes. The water was cold, but they didn't care.

Happy and excited, they wanted to have sex, but the security guard came in response to the noise.

Hastily putting on shorts, they left there with an armful of the first things they came across. Killer forgot his phone, and Dust forgot his slippers and gun, but he didn’t want to come back. Now they felt great, and that's the main thing.

The date was a success.

Первое полноценное свидание ДастКиллеров прошло в закрытом бассейне какого-то отеля, в который они пробрались по приколу. Киллер хотел чем-то порадовать Даста после весьма тяжёлого депрессивного эпизода, вот идея и вспыхнула сама собой, когда они проходили мимо.

Поблизости не было ни охранников, ни камер, потому им легко удалось пробраться внутрь. Бассейн был пуст, так что пока вода набиралась, они оккупировали бар. Пьяные, они танцевали под музыку, которую Киллер включил на телефоне, и много болтали ни о чём, а после пошли купаться в бассейн без одежды. Вода была холодной, но им было плевать.

Счастливые и разгорячённые, они хотели было потрахаться, но на шум пришёл охранник.

Поспешно нацепив шорты для приличия, они свалили оттуда с охапкой первых попавшихся вещей. Киллер забыл свой телефон, а Даст тапочки и пистолет, но возвращаться как-то не хотелось. Сейчас они чувствовали себя замечательно, и это главное.

Свидание удалось.

Idk what I’m thinking here, I’m just kinda bored and it’s 2 am here.

General hcs.

I headcanon dust as a introverted guy.

So if it comes to a relationship... well, that’s gonna be difficult.

If you’re also an introverted person, he will most likely like you.

He doesn’t really talk, so if it comes to compliments, then ehhh. He will give them but it’s not really much (so feel special when he does🤨).

His favorite way to give affection is physical touch.

PDA isn’t his favorite thing, but if it’s needed.. oh boy, he’ll go as far as he could.

For example, he’d hold your hand, lean on you, maybe walk around the dusted town of his while telling puns and pick up lines.

Oh and, With needed I mean, to get a satisfaction out of it. (Most of the time that is..)

If you’ve known him before all of this madness began, be ready to be protected all the frisking time.

If you didn’t know him before all of this madness, he’ll still be as protective as he is if you knew him before.

He.. isn’t the best cook, but his cooking gets a 7/10 tbh.

If you can’t cook, he’ll gladly cook for you, only if you give him some affection later ;)

You know how we can get sick and all? This man doesn’t know shit about sicknesses.

So be prepared to get hugged a lot and seeing a tearing up dust(might make a one shot about this scenario..👀)

Btw get used with him randomly sleeping in your bed.

The annoying thing is... after a killing spree, he might sleep in your bed with a blooded hoodie.

He isn’t the type of guy to simp for you, but do if something for him, on your own will.
