If Felix has a mate: When this man is sober he looks at his significant other as if they hung the moon and stars, when drunk it is as if his mate is god incarnate; and him their humble servant. He would spend most of the evening holding their hand or allowing them to fully lean on to him as they got deeper into their cups. He would not shy away from telling stories about his mate, proclaiming how much he adores them every chance they get; much to the amusement of both Heidi and Demetri. If you acquire Felix as a mate there will never be a moment he does not remind someone how much he loves them.

If Heidi has a mate: Oh she would be exceptionally soft with a mate when she has a few glasses of blood-wine in her system, eyes sparkling with a love that is hard to describe with mere words. More than once she would leave lipstick marks against their cheek with a grace only Heidi possesses. If Demetri tries to get cheeky with her mate however, Heidi will promptly scold him; something that would leave Felix and her mate keeling over with laughter. If the tracker and executioner get a little too inebriated, Heidi and her mate will take care of the two fools, small glances shared as Heidi invites her mate into her life more thoroughly.

If Demetri has a mate, and he has not accepted them: He would sit as far away from the mate through out the entire evening, no matter how many times Heidi keeps elbowing him. For being a fun drunk he is quiet for the first time in centuries, half-heartedly glaring at Felix for attempting to bring him together with his so called fated mate. Though he keeps his distance he does make sure they feel alright, asking if they are having a good time several times. On the morrow Felix and Heidi would be teasing him about being unable to keep his eyes off of his soon to be mate; Demetri goes for an extra long walk that day.

If Demetri has a mate, and he has accepted them: The tracker will simply not leave his mate alone for one moment, either he will be touching them constantly or draped across their lap as if he is starring in some extravagant painting; blood-wine sloshing out of his glass and on to the floor from time to time. When his face is not tucked into their neck he is probably kissing their cheeks or dragging them into a dance. If I am to be entirely honest, Demetri would most likely herd his significant other back to his own quarters for some intimate fun.

Okay so this is bugging me.

The Volturi uphold the law and the law is don't let anyone know about vampires. Cool.

Meanwhile every two weeks they're bringing about thirty people to Volterra. Mostly TOURISTS. Who are EXPECTED TO RETURN HOME. And one old lady who seems to know she's part of a magical scheme and knows she's about to die and is reenacting the first few chapters of Dracula, only she wandered up to the castle.

How are they keeping this on the downlow???

Maybe during the book timeline you could say oh there was no internet no one was keeping up with tourists, but we have examples of tourists going missing and it becoming international news like the people who go missing on spring break. Bring in the internet and the Volturi's lifestyle is going to suffer the same problems as the Cullens, too many vampires in one place, being weird.

I guess you could say they enforce the law so who's going to stop them? But it just doesn't make sense?

(Also would have made more sense for THIS to be the grievance the Romanian brought up, but they're dumb.)

The answer's hilarious.

The real answer is Meyer really wanted this tourist scheme for some reason (and hey, at least they're not constantly preying on the poorest and the weakest in society, that's nice I guess) so we get... what we get.

This is explained somewhat in the guide.

The way the scheme goes is that Heidi runs a fake vacation sweepstakes. You get an email in your inbox that says congratulations! You have just won a trip to Thailand (yes, bear with me a moment)! Now, some people will likely realize they did not win a trip to Thailand because nothing is free and they don't think about the email and go on with their merry lives. Others are told by their relatives: honey, this will get you trafficked, this isn't real, and go on with their merry lives.

Some, though, agree and find themselves on a trip with likeminded people who also believe they're going to Thailand. And they do, at first, go to Thailand or wherever the tour said it was going for a bit. This is done via a presumably private jet which helps move things along and avoid intervention and inspection. But somehow, they end up with Volterra (without being told they're in Italy or Volterra) and one trip to the chomping room later and they're gone.

It's a convoluted ridiculous scheme that seems to be for Heidi's entertainment (this is her full time job every two weeks) and it does seem to hinge primarily on a) not much internet b) not many with cell phones. Probably the scheme changes a bit in the more modern age.

But the going all over the place, being a sketchy sweepstakes to start with, all of that is to make it harder to track where exactly the tourists died and make it murkier of whether they were in Italy (let alone Volterra) at all.

So it's not quite as bad as it seems or that the movie made it (the book was a bit more multicultural in tourists than Amuricans in that we have a foreign woman saying prayers as she realizes where she is) but it is ridiculous.

Can you do a headcanon of the Volturi guards with a human mate that is chaos in human form. The littlest task get blown up into a big deal just cause their human was somehow involved.

Okay well this is me with headcanons “No humans!”

So because I said so, this will be someone who is very chaotic and makes things much more of a spectacle than necessary

Alright so in these scenarios babygirl you cannot control your newborn strength or speed and, much to everyone’s shock, the clumsiest vampire to exist. They all thought it would calm down after the newborn years were over but it takes you decades and you still have problems every now and again

You are stressing the poor boy out

Like he’s really tempted to sedate you just so you slow down

Broke a door because you opened it too hard? After the third time he’s probably going to yell at you and the things he will say will be far from nice and understanding

Will probably make you cry and only then will he try and find a solution

Gets you to go on missions so you stop wrecking their home, does not want anyone else upset at you

You’re gonna learn quick that you better slow down and be careful or you will get shock collared by her gift

I want to say that she tries to be patient at first but she, like her brother is just not that

She will try and talk to you about it

And to be fair she said it would mainly feel like a tingle so it’s more of a warning that you’re starting to move too quick or you look like you’re about to break something

But you know when you’re talking and you get really excited about what you’re talking about and someone says, why are you talking so loud? So you get kinda quiet… Yeah it feels a lot like that

Puts all of things that cannot be broken away

You are not allowed in the library, like seriously he will give you tests to make sure you won’t break anything

Tries to work out most of the extra energy and chaos by taking you out of the castle

Lots of nighttime activities, Felix is debating tearing his ears out himself, twins want to kill you both

Demetri tries to find things you can do well so you shouldn’t get into too much trouble but regardless you better hope you’re gifted because Aro is debating kicking you out

Probably the most patient as usual, he had trouble co trolling his own strength as well

But thanks to that he knows how to get you distracted and mostly out of trouble

You’re the training exercise Guinea pig now, respectfully

You tend to break things on accident so when you try and cause havoc you’re a force to be reckoned with so you keep everyone on their feet.

Also asks you to go on missions so you don’t get into too much trouble, and thanks to your mate there’s not much complaining it he’s not risking it

Headcanons - Dating Heidi

You meet Heidi when you organised a celebration for Caius and Athenodora anniversary

Aro wanted to throw an extravagant party for his brother and his wife and enlisted Gianna’s help

Wanting to ensure that everything was perfect Gianna searched for Event Planners and came across your website and was impressed by the reviews and the range of events you plan for

Heidi caught your scent on her way to Gianna’s desk as she had offered to help Gianna with the planning. (Aro wants to ensure that their secret is kept from you)

Heidi smiled knowingly at you but quickly composed herself enough to introduce herself to you with a warm smile

You smile back at her and introduce yourself, silently thinking how beautiful she looks

Heidi is impressed by your organisation skills and your attention to detail during the planning sessions

Later that night she looked up you and your website online and was further impressed by your portfolio of work and the reviews left by previous clients and smiled as she realised why you were her fated mate

Demetri noticed Heidi spending more time with Gianna than normal and his curiosity got the better of him and after speaking with the secretary worked out that his friend had finally met her other half in the Event Planner

 Heidi ensured she was available to attend any meetings you had with Gianna throughout the planning stages, so much so Aro became suspicious of her interest in you

You and your assistant arrived at the castle and oversaw the decoration of the ballroom, making sure everything was perfect for the big event itself

Heidi made sure that you were safe as there were many humans coming and going from the castle as they were delivering the decorations, flowers, chair covers and satin ties along with food and wine for the evening

You stayed for the event to ensure it went smoothly and to be on hand should there be any queries or problems

After Heidi finally got up the courage to ask you to dance, you spent the rest of the night talking and laughing together

Marcus saw the strong mate ties between the two of you and discreetly slipped his hand into Aro’s. Aro smiled wide knowing Heidi had finally found her mate and was looking forward to welcoming you into the family knowing your event planning skills would be a great addition to the castle as the residents did enjoy throwing parties etc

Caius and Athenodora were surprised by the party being thrown for them and was very impressed when they discovered that the successful event was organised by you (a human) Gianna may have received a pay rise as she was the one to find you online

Heidi was forever grateful to Gianna for she would never have met you if it wasn’t for her

Heidi planned your first date wanting you to relax and enjoy the evening rather than worrying about the details

Heidi took you an Italian restaurant that Demetri and his mate recommended (they went there many times before she was turned)

Heidi bought you a Y/F/C bouquet of mixed flowers, ensuring to remove the thorns from the roses

You blushed when she handed you the flowers as she complimented your appearance, loving you in your date outfit “You look so beautiful Y/N” “Thank you. You look beautiful too” You compliment her on her outfit too

The Kings and Queens approve of you and are looking forward to having you plan many more events in the future

Knowing you are not a threat to them or their secret you are able to continue to work outside of the castle as you didn’t want to give up your business

Heidi does everything she can to ensure you’re happy with her and encourages you to move in with her.

You sharing Heidi’s room and being shocked at the size of your new shared walk-in closet “I’d never fill this space” “Yes you will my love and we have an eternity to do so” Heidi replied holding you from behind

You enjoy adding ‘your’ touch to Heidi’s quarters now you would be sharing them with her

You becoming a little jealous when you realise she uses her ‘gift’ to entice the ‘tourists’ into the castle for dinner twice a month

Heidi reassures you that she loves you and only you, explaining to you how her ‘gift’ actually works

Heidi loves curling up with you at the end of the day for a cuddle whilst you watch movies together or whilst you read to each other

Shared baths and showers are a great way to share intimate moments and lavish each other with lots of TLC as you both enjoy feeling the other’s hands on your body

Girl’s days out – Heidi and you have regular shopping trips with Corin, Chelsea and Renata

PDA – Heidi and you hold hands, fingers intertwined as you walk around the castle and when you leave the castle for dates and days out. Kisses to each other cheeks and temples when around the other vampires in the castle, showing them that you two are mates

Intimacy – slow, sensuous kisses during intimate moments as you both like to take your time with each other.

Rough and needy kisses are rare between you as it is not often that you are apart from each other for long periods of time

The Kings give you time to acclimatise to the castle, the other vampire residents and the fact that you will become immortal

Heidi turns you when the time is right although she was worried in case she was tempted by the smell of your blood whilst turning you

Your self-control around Gianna is impressive for a newborn which the Kings appreciate as hiring her replacement will be inconvenient during your first year. (The Kings never forgot the number of secretaries they had to hire during Afton’s newborn year)

Everyone notices your calm demeanour around humans during your newborn phase although your demeanour changes when you are around the lower and transitory guards as they tend to bring out your ‘newborn’ tendencies

Felix and Demetri training you separately from the other guards as you were rather aggressive to the lower and transitory guards during your first few training sessions

Demetri also taught you how to bring down Felix as you were getting frustrated at never winning a ‘friendly’ sparring match against the giant vampire

During your newborn year your assistant took on more responsibilities and oversaw the events that you planned, staying in touch virtually. You also took on another assistant to help your original assistant with her new role as you didn’t want to lose your business just because you became immortal

Once you are passed your newborn phase you are allowed to continue running your business as you had proven you had good self-control around humans. Your assistant took on a more involved role during your newborn year and as this worked well, she continued to oversee events especially on sunnier days, your other assistant helping out too

You became famous among the vampire world over the years as ‘The World’s Best Event Planner’ as you always planned the Volturi’s parties and balls etc

Your new ‘title’ was something Heidi was very proud of. However, if vampires could blush you would be blushing regularly

You eventually started planning events for other vampire covens and charging them accordingly, loving how your small business had grown over the centuries.

Heidi enjoyed helping you plan the events too

Caius would brag about your planning skills ensuring the Volturi’s subjects knew you were better than a certain Cullen. This amused his brothers greatly

Heidi was not just your mate and lover; she was your best friend and your entire world and you looked forward to spending the rest of forever together

So I'm having trouble understanding the vultri (I think that's how you spell it) and all their personalities, could you explain them to me?

Because we don't see a whole lot of the Volturi, you'll find that people have a lot of different headcanons, but here are the basic, canon personalities.

The actual Volturi coven consists of Aro, Marcus, Caius, Sulpicia (Aro's wife) and Athenodora (Caius' wife). Marcus had a wife, Didyme, who was also Aro's sister. Marcus and Didyme wanted to leave the Volturi but Aro wanted to keep Marcus' power, so he secretly killed Didyme. Marcus stayed with the Volturi but became a shell of his former self, severely apathetic and depressed. Sulpicia and Athenodora were put in the tower under heavy guard to protect them.

Aro is the defacto leader, although he, Marcus and Caius seemingly rule as a triumvirate. Aro is outwardly cheerful and enthusiastic, seemingly benevolent, but is shrewd and calculating underneath the friendly exterior. He is extremely curious about anything new and loves to 'collect' vampires with gifts. He has a gift to read every single thought a person has ever had just by touching them.

Marcus is depressed and apathetic after the loss of his wife. He barely cares about any of their trials and generally just wants to get it over with. He has a gift to see relationships and the strength of them. It's useful to Aro in battle, to see how armies are tied to their leaders, for example, who would die for someone else, whose ties aren't as strong and could maybe be lured away, etc.

Caius is usually angry and aggressive. Whereas Aro can be merciful when it suits him, Caius is the one who wants to punish everyone to the full extent of the law. He doesn't have a supernatural gift, which might be part of his whole deal; maybe he feels inferior or worries that he could be replaced.

In canon we don't really know much about Sulpicia and Athenodora other than that they live in the tower and rarely leave. Personally I think it's less about their safety and more about Aro realizing he wields more power as 1 of 3 rulers than he would as 1 of 5. Athenodora and Caius were a couple before joining up with Marcus and Aro. Sulpicia was a human Aro sought out to change and be his wife. There is a vampire named Corin who has the gift of addictive contentment, and she keeps them happy with their situation.

Didyme was Aro's biological sister. He went back to turn her into a vampire because he thought maybe gifts ran in families. She did have a gift, an aura of happiness, which was not as useful as he had hoped. She and Marcus fell in love and we so happy they stopped caring about the Volturi's mission and were going to leave until Aro secretly killed her.

The rest of the Volturi are technically the Volturi Guard and not really part of the coven, but people lump them together.

Jane and Alec are the most feared because of their gifts (Janes makes you feel incredible pain, Alec can rob you of all your senses). They are twins and devoted to one another, and Jane has something of a teacher's pet attitude with Aro and is jealous of anyone else he praises.

Chelsea is perhaps the most important because her gifts allows her to create bonds between people, and she's made everyone loyal to the Volturi. She has a mate named Afton who can make himself invisible to a degree but it's not that great of a power and Aro just keeps him around to keep Chelsea happy.

There's Demetri, a debonair, charming tracker, and Felix, who doesn't have a power but is super strong. He's kind of the Volturi's Emmett. The seem to be sent on missions together.

Heidi is beautiful and alluring and her gifts makes people follow her; she brings human victims for the Volturi to feed on using elaborate schemes to get them to Volterra.

Renata is Aro's bodyguard, she has a shield like Bella but hers repels physical attacks rather than mental ones.

There's also Santiago but we don't know much about him but he seems to be like Felix, with no special power.

The winner of my latest story poll:

I didn't know how to choose who would be the Volturi master who was sick. I couldn't find any dice to toss, so I drew cards. Oddly, Aro won with a queen, while Caius and Marcus tied with 10s (They are 10s!). Then I remembered I've written more stories about Aro and Marcus lately, so Caius wins by default. Plus, he can be so grumpy, he might make a great patient. Or not.

I have read headcanons about the Volturi caring for their sick human mates, but not one about a human caring for their sick vampire mate. So here we go!

Caius x Reader

You are the mate of the powerful Volturi master, Caius. He makes the perfect leader of the Volturi guard, such are his combat skills and purposeful concentration.

To you, he is always a loving mate, if at times a big tease. He calls it teasing. You call it torture, especially when he's training you.

"Caius! Stop!" You run around the trees in the park while he chases after you, obviously at 100th his typical speed, since he could easily capture you, if he wanted to.

"As a human, you're too easy to catch, my love. As a newborn, you'll be stronger and more likely to outrun me, for awhile at least," he calls out.

You had turned around to see how close he was to you, when you run into a hard body and fall backwards onto the grass. You look up to see the triumphant face of your mate.

"What have I told you over and over. Use your senses to be aware of your entire surroundings, not just what's in front or behind you." He reaches a pale hand down to you, pulling you up off the ground. Once he sees tears forming in your blue eyes, he relents and draws you into his embrace. "I'm sorry, my pet. I didn't mean to shout at you. Once you've gone through the transformation, you will be much better at this."

You don't want your mate to see you cry. He already despises humans as weak, so you hate giving him a reason to believe that of you. I'm not weak, you tell yourself. I can be strong when I need to be. Feeling inferior to Caius is ever present in your mind. He is almost too perfect. But when you change, you will be an equal to him.

Caius picks you up in his arms and runs back to the castle. You grip his shirt and bury your face in his chest, keeping your eyes closed. He regrets tiring you with your skills training, but prefers handling it himself, rather than assigning you time with either Felix or Demetri.

When you arrive at the castle, he carries you to the chambers you share together. Once there, Caius explains that Heidi will be here soon with the tourists destined to be on the Volturi lunch menu. You frown, but know it's necessary, since the Volturi have a need to feed. They can't help that it's human blood they need to survive. One day, you will join Caius and do the same thing. Feed off humans.

Caius gives you a kiss and heads for the outer doors. You run to your mate, who stops to turn to you. You give him a look of pure love. In response, Caius gives you a smile and holds his arms open to you. You move into them and embrace him tightly, enjoying his embrace in turn.

"I love you, Caius."

He chucks your chin and replies, "I love you, my pet. Relax for awhile until I return." Then he leaves you alone.

Since you are not allowed to be with the others during this time, you go into the bedroom and strip, heading for the bathroom and a hot shower. Once you're relaxed and squeaky clean, you pull on underwear, and a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, then go lie down on the bed for a nap.

You dream you're in a thick fog and red eyes follow you as you walk through the cool moist air. Then a thick blanket of cold surrounds you, cutting off your senses. Just when your fear rises as a scream, you wake to see Caius hovering over you, a smile on his face. He kisses your cheek, telling you to wake up. You sit up on the bed, your arms around his neck. You see a red spot on his chin, and wet your thumb to wipe it off. "You're usually so fastidious, my love."

Caius tells you Aro wishes to see him for a brief meeting. He doesn't tell you what it's about, and you never ask. If he wanted you to know, he would tell you as he usually does about most things.

Since you are free, you go to find Marcus to have one of your many conversations. Aside from Caius, he is the easiest of the Volturi to talk with, and doesn't seem to mind your human nature.

Caius eventually comes to fetch you so that you can eat in the kitchen dining area. The chef has made supper for you, and Caius joins you and asks about your talk with Marcus. While you eat, you laugh and shake your head. "It would bore you, love. He's so even-tempered and comfortable to be around.

"Do you wish to be his mate?" Caius asks, his eyes staring into yours.

You put down your fork and take his hand. You gaze back into his red eyes, and say, "Marcus may be a wonderful friend, but you're my mate, Caius. No one touches me the way you do. And I don't just mean physically. I mean in every way possible." He meets you half way when you lean in to kiss him. "I love you with all my heart and soul. There is and never will be anyone else."

Once you've finished your meal and thanked the chef, you and Caius head back to your chambers. He decides to walk at your side at your speed, his hand holding yours.

In your bedroom, he holds you close and kisses you, each kiss more passionate than the last. You pull back, smiling at him as you move toward the bed, when you see Caius' expression change. He suddenly looks as if he were in pain. You go to his side just as he collapses to his knees. Suddenly, he vomits what looks like blood, causing you to jump back. You then head for the outer doors, flinging them open to cry out for help. In moments, Aro, Marcus, snd Felix are at the door.

"What is it, my dear?" Aro asks.

"It's Caius. He's ill," you tell him, panic stricken.

All of you go to the bedroom to find Caius lying on the floor. Checking his breathing is a waste of effort since you know vampires don't have to breathe, and they have no beating heart to listen to. Please be alive, you pray.

You turn to Aro, your eyes frantic. "What's wrong with him?"

"Tell me what happened, my dear, before he collapsed." He waits until Marcus lifts Caius off the floor and onto the bed.

You go to the bathroom to wet a wash cloth, then move to the side of the bed to wipe the blood from your mate's face and hands. You unbutton his shirt and remove it with help from Marcus, then wipe down his chest.

"Felix, get someone to clean this up," Aro says, pointing to the mess on the floor.

Felix speeds from the rooms to fetch a human servant. In a few minutes, one quietly appears to mop the floor, then just as quietly, leaves.

In your current grief, you begin to vocalize what happened. "I was eating supper in the kitchen and we were just talking. Then we walked back here, and he suddenly seemed to be in pain and collapsed. He didn't have a chance to say anything." You sit beside your mate, laying your hand on his forehead, which is as cold as always. You're worried beyond belief. Vampires do not get sick, nor do they experience unconsciousness.

Aro thinks of the one person who may know vampire physiology better than anyone. Carlisle. Would his old friend have answers that might help Caius?

You cling to Marcus' hand with your free one, the other still stroking Caius' face. "He isn't dying, is he, Marcus? He can't die." Your eyes betray your worry.

Everyone among the coven hears about Caius, and silence replaces the usual sounds of activity in the castle. You keep vigilance at Caius' side, leaving only to tend to personal business. Felix and Demetri take turns bringing you food. They ask each time how your mate is doing. It seems everyone is concerned, since this set a new precedence that any vampire could become sick.

Caius rouses after two days of unconsciousness. He recognizes you, sending a wave of relief through you. "Thank the gods, you're awake, my love. I'm here. Aro and Marcus are here too."

Both the Volturi masters rise from the sofa to go to their brother's side. "Caius, do you recognize us?" Aro asks.

"Yes, hello, Aro. Hello, Marcus. What happened to me? I feel terrible." He turns to you, realizing how bad he must have been, if your expression is any indicator.

You lean over to kiss his cheek, then sit beside him on the bed.

"Carlisle said it sounds like food poisoning," Aro says. "He was comparing your symptoms to that of his human patients, but we agreed that the timing was right. We had fed, then less than an hour later, you became violently ill. In humans, symptoms can appear up to six hours later, but we're vampires, and the bacteria could work more quickly on us.

"But food poisoning, Aro," you begin. "Has any vampire ever become ill from the blood of a victim?" It seems an odd idea to you.

"Not that we are aware of, my dear. This could set a precedence. Human physiology changes over time, small things as in the lesser importance of internal organs."

"Like the appendix," you suggest.

"Just so," Aro agrees. "It may be that something within humans is changing that will eventually make them unpalatable to our kind."

You don't really care. You just want Caius well again.

"Carlisle said to watch him for as long as he needs to remain in bed. That will be up to Caius, of course."

You go to Aro and hug him. "Thank you. Thank you, both." Then you move to Marcus, also hugging him in gratitude.

Marcus smiles. "Of course, my dear. He is our brother, after all." Both men leave you and Caius alone.

You feel a hand grasp your arm. "Love, you will stay with me." You had never heard Caius sound so plaintive, fearful even.

"Of course, my sweet. No one could ever pull me away from you. You took care of me when I was sick or even just cramping badly." You smile at him, loving him so very much. "I will never leave you. Enough said."

Over the next few days, you stay with your mate, using a wet cloth to keep his face damp and cool. He is not feverish, yet doesn't say anything. In fact, he seems to enjoy the attention you give him.

He manages a smile and says, "I apologise for anything I said to you before I became ill, intimating that you're a weak mortal. You are the strongest woman I know." He weakly reaches up to caress your cheek.

You give him a kiss, saying "I know I am, Caius. And I will be a stronger vampire, when the time comes. For us both. Now hurry and get well, my love. We have some overdue sex awaiting us."

His eyes darken briefly, but he falls back against the pillow, too weak to respond as he wishes.

Each day though, Caius seems to get stronger. Felix and Demetri bring him several blood bags they'd appropriated from a local hospital. It would have to hold him over until their next feeding.

You thank them both for their ingenuity and aid to your mate. You help Caius drink from the bags, hoping it will help him recover sooner than if he had no blood. You would give up your own blood, if it helped him get well."Take it slowly, love," you caution him. "No need to guzzle it all at once."

You spend time reading for Caius, and when he is much better, you play games of chess with him until he tires. He is visited by Aro and Marcus, who see his improvment, and give you the credit.

Finally, one day, you're sitting next to your mate, reading from a book, when it gets to a rather spicy scene. Caius is becoming aroused by your reading and your voice and the thoughts it instills in his mind. His body is matching his desire for you as his need becomes more apparent. He reaches up to slip his hand in your hair and around your neck, pulling you down. He kisses you, attempting to show you how well he feels.

You drop the book and lean over your mate, your mouth devouring his. "So, you're feeling better, my love?"

"Better, needy. I want you, my favourite nurse in the world. And to show you my gratitude for your constant care..."

You don't give him time to say another word. You remove your shirt and straddle him. "That sounds like a bad porn film, Caius. But I'm game if you are. It's the best medicine I have."

And your loving mate takes his medicine without one complaint.

Afton

Afton never gets hired on because Chelsea is either dead or doesn't exist. Aro says "lol no" and Afton is on his merry way.

Demetri

Demetri is a "maybe". Amun claims that Demetri was lured away because of Chelsea, however, I've always been dubious that Chelsea is solely the cause of his departure.

He's listed here because people will argue with me and it is a possibility

Eleazar

Getting rid of Eleazar may have become even harder. He still might very well leave because of Carmen but it's a possibility that even that isn't enough without Chelsea greasing the wheels behind the scenes.

Heidi

Heidi is another "maybe". She was recruited having been spared at the execution of her coven for her talents. Perhaps, had Chelsea not been there, she would have chosen death. That said, the choice was "death or Volturi" and Chelsea did choose "Volturi" in canon so I'm inclined to believe she stays as well.

She's listed because people will argue with me and it is a possibility.

Marcus

Aro was terrified Marcus would try to kill himself and this was what led him to finding Chelsea in the first place. Without her, Marcus could very well kill himself. However, that said, Marcus didn't in however long it took to find Chelsea and there's always Corin.

Marcus may just find himself getting stoned and dragged out whenever he needs to stare at someone.

Some religion HCs I have about the Volturi

Many of these are for HCs I have about their human life/backstories. I see very few of them maintaining strong religious faith into their undead lives. Also, I choose to disregard certain aspects of the religion metaphors in Twilight. These are also pretty much based on their historical time period/ where they come from.

• Felix, having been a Roman gladiator born into slavery had very few opportunities to actively participate in religious activities. That said, he prayed to a few different gods of the Roman pantheon, most typically Venus. Even then, he had dreamed a sweet love to soften his hard life.

• I headcanon Santiago to have been collected by the coven during the colonial period. He is Caribbean but possibly joined the Volturi during the southern wars. As such, he was Catholic in his human life but practiced some folk magic.

• Though Heidi grew up during a time where Germany was largely converting from Catholicism to Lutheranism, her family remained staunchly Catholic. Frankly, that faith helped her get through pain in her life often. She even kept some of that faith for a while after she was turned into a vampire.

• Living during a vast cultural shift in the Byzantine empire, Demetri came from a well-off family of merchants with humble origins. His father had reverted to Islam a few years before marrying his mother and thus Demetri was raised Muslim. His wife, who he had cherished deeply until and after she died during childbirth, was also Muslim.

• Chelsea, who has also gone by Charmion, was an Ancient Greek priestess of Apollo (possibly even an oracle at Delphi!). It is said that he gave her the gift of the sight and though she wasn’t a priestess of Aphrodite, she did have a knack for match-making but not just in romantic dealings, in business and other dealings as well.

A/N: Hello my dear anon and thank you for the request. I think te relationship with Alec would be very young love and teenager crush so there is a lot of fluff (:

Meating any of the Volturi guard organically is pretty much impossible.  

Aro would find the mate and Marcus would confirm the invisible bond.  

At first it was awkward, you not speaking to him if not talked to. And Alec is pretty much the same way. (I headcanon him being pretty shy, especially to people who he doesn’t know that well.) 

Demitri would make fun of him so much.  

But after a while you would start to speak a little but more and not whispering anymore. (But only in a company that you had gotten used to like Alec, Jane or Heidi.) 

And Alec would be so happy about it. Seeing you come out of your shell even for a moment makes his non-beating heart almost burst.  

Your relationship is the most stereotypical teenager romance.  

When you finally kissed, (it would take a LOT of time) it would be like a second long and awkward but the moment when you were alone, you would have an absolute teenager crush moment of wanting to scream at the idea of something actually happening.  

And Alec on the other side would lose all brain function for a good fifteen minutes.  

But even after you got over this teen-love phase, you would still get flustered every time when Alec kissed you or when there was any PDA. (Don’t worry he would never make you uncomfy no matter what.) 

With time you would get a bit more open with talking to the most of the upper guards, but if you ever had to talk to the Kings or the Queens your words would be lost in the air. (Aro would love it xd.) 

If anyone ever would do ANYTHING wrong to you, Alec would take all of their senses away and kill them in a very slowly and the upper guards would be happy to help him with that.  

Your room together would be the comfiest place in the whole castle and be sure that Alec would carry and assemble a whole ass space heater in the room, just so your human body wouldn’t get cold.

Can’t believe you like him that much. He’s the kind that would wear one of your hair ties around his wrist at all times but he loves wearing his clothes after you’ve been in them because it smells like you and it’s so calming to him

Makes him slightly zone out sometimes which Aro noticed but doesn’t say anything because it makes him seem more terrifying when he’s in work mode and his scowl is already there

His clothes fit so nicely on you and he loves seeing them on you anytime will compliment you non stop

Is also wearing some of your clothes

You have basically a whole room as a wardrobe at this point
