request: hey! i love your work and was wondering if you could do a scenarios with sk8 where their s/o is sick and they take care of them (with cherry, joe, shadow, reki and langa) because currently i’m dying if a bad cold, headache, sore throat, stomach and side pain and a bad cough.

“A-A-Achoooo!” You sneezed loudly, even painfully, and your precious boyfriend immediately jumped in place and quickly ran to your huge bed.

“Y/N!” His terrified, yet delicate face looked really comical at the moment, but as soon as you laughed gently, you felt a sharp pain in your chest and throbbing around both temples. “Is everything right?”

You shook your head and hid under the white-blue covers to the very tip of your nose, and Hiromi sighed sadly. During your illness, you were always so sleepy, sore and often very sorrowful.

“I think it’s time to take your medication, honey. Wait for me here, okay?”

You smiled anyway – your man was really trying and you appreciated it very much.

For the first time in his life, Reki tried so hard to make all his notes legible and colorful. He don’t want you to have any arrears in connection with your illness, so red head wrote down even the smallest details so that you can be prepared for all (even unannounced) exams in the future. He also wrote important dates and information about trips and contests that you loved to participate in.

He visited you every day because your home was on the way to his own house, often without even informing you of his arrival to give you a little surprise. In addition, he always brought you your favorite apple buns from the school shop, and on weekends he would ask his mother to pack some warm soup in thermos. You adored Mrs. Kyan’s udon so much.

“... I don’t know if I told you, but Yuki and Ino did some very strange actions! And it all started with a lunch break during which Ino...”

Even when you were sick, you definitely didn't miss a thing in school thanks to Reki.

With the tall man, even despite your mood, you felt well, and your recovery was faster than other people. However, this is not surprising; his warming soup, healthy and fruity snacks, and a balanced cocktail-assisted diet have always helped you get back on your feet in just five days. Your fever passed very quickly and your overall fatigue was destroyed thanks to warming desserts with chocolate or caramel.

And of course, if necessary, your boyfriend would either feed you and give you a soft kiss on the forehead every few moments, or walk around the apartment in just an apron to make you warm up even more and forget about the pain in the legs, back and head.

“... Honey... Is this... my favorite ramen?” You asked with a big smile, and the green-haired one just nodded.

“Nutty ramen with tofu, cabbage and sweet corn for my beloved, big baby.” A proud smile appeared on his lips and you clapped as you watched the beautifully smelling dish.

With Kojirou, the disease was... really cool!

— LANGA

After a short phone call with your mom, Langa went to the store for some snacks for you (both sweet, salty, and those filled with vitamins or protein). He bought you two apples, yoghurt, your favorite chocolate, as well as chips and cinnamon buns.

He had a really great relationship with your whole family, so as soon as he knocked on the wooden door of your apartment, your mother hugged him and thanked him for taking care of you. She offered him some tea and cookies, to which Langa obviously agreed and thanked heartily. After a while, however, he apologized to a middle-aged woman and went to your bedroom to say ‘Hi’ and give you the food (and some kisses).

It wasn’t a surprise for the young boy that you just fell asleep tired of your illness and catching up at school. You looked really cute, despite the huge blushes on your face, the tangled hair and the saliva escaping your mouth. Your boyfriend put all the things on your desk and then lay down next to you. You were terribly hot and a bit sweaty, but the teenager was fine with it. You still smelled like yourself – like fruity shampoo.

It didn’t bother him to the point that he ended up falling asleep next to you, and when your mother put the tea next to the shopping bag, she took a quick photo of you two. Then she quietly left the room and you didn’t even notice her, still cuddled up to each other.

Kaoru is... in between everyone.

When you are sick, he cares about you a lot (seriously), buys you healthy snacks, tries to cook with internet recipes (or with Kojirou's help, but he won't admit it). He always tries to be next to you whenever you call him, and he never gets nervous and waits patiently until he can wipe your tired body after a bath or dress you in clean clothes.

“... Y/N, time for your meds.”

“How long will I be taking these dumb pills?” You asked sadly and then sourly swallowed the bitter pills and drank too sweet cough syrup.

“You have five days until the end of the treatment.” He said in a warm tone of voice. “But if you want to heal faster, cover yourself with a blanket and I’ll make you hot tea with fresh lemon and honey.” He added with a slight smile, and you immediately grabbed his warm, big hand. “Hm?”

“Could you ... Could you give me a hug right now and then bring me some tea?”

Your boyfriend of course agreed, and after a short while you just fell asleep; you were so sweet, so your boyfriend did not leave you until you woke up by yourself.

I think that Hiromi is someone who grew up in a lower class household. He’s never understood the lives of those who grew up differently.

He totally follows behind the kids in the restaurant, turning off every light that they leave on. “We don’t own the utility company!” He’d say.

Here’s the HC-

Hiromi is always the first person on EVERYONE’S mind whenever they are at a place with mementos.

At the bookstore? Langa’s buying him the newest volume of his favorite manga.

On vacation? Reki is buying the DUMBEST tourist trap knickknacks. (I’m talking a sticker that says the name of the vacation destination but it’s misspelled and there’s clip art of a lobster on it)

At the grocery store? Cherry is buying a box of brownie mix and some walnuts so that he can make him a little treat. (Joe gets absolutely LIVID over the fact that Cherry would insult him by buying boxed mix)

Growing up in a low income home, Hiromi made it a point to practice fugal behavior in his day to day life. It was rare he ever treated himself or let himself be treated to nice things.

On Hiromi’s shelf, an assortment of items sat.

“Langa! Turn off the lights when you leave a room! You don’t pay the- oh, you’re in here.” Hiromi blinked when his gaze fell upon the blue haired teen. “Sorry- I should have checked.”

“It’s fine. I erm- I have something for you.” Langa shuffled on his feet before shoving a bag forward, pressing it into Hiromi’s hands. “You’re reading them, right? The newest issue came out- and I figured you’d deserve a new copy instead of those bent ones you always buy. Okay later!” He was out the door as quick as he came.

Hiromi stared down at the bag, eyes wide as he pulled out the crisp manga. “Oh…he remembered…wait-LANGA THE LIGHT!”

“We’re BACK!” Reki yelled in glee as he walked into the hotel room, a bag of souvenirs over his arm. Miya shuffled in after him, eyes glued to his gaming system before he tumbled into the bed, still playing. “They had the coolest things, Shadow! Look what I got!”

“Reki, I know you like knicknacks, but don’t you think they’re a bit of a waste? They’re so overpriced-is that a dog?” Hiromi blinked as Reki cackled, waving the dog statue keychain around in glee. “‘Welcome to Shiboobya.”

“I KNOW! What a wild find!” Without much warning, he pressed the keychain into Hiromi’s hands, closing his fingers around it. “I couldn’t find one with your name on it, so you are now called ‘Hito’! Take pride in your new identity!”

“You should see Reki’s. He’s now known as “Rin”.” Miya shrugged, earning another round of cackles from the redhead.

“You FIEND.”

“You’re just mad I thought of this first.”

“That’s not the issue- BOXED MIX? Who do you think you are, bringing that trash into this house?”

“Tch. So dramatic.” Cherry rolled his eyes as he poured the remaining brownie batter into the greased up tray, pushing the bowl and spoon over to Hiromi with a cheeky grin. “Boxed batter is just as tasty as homemade, you elitist gorilla.”

“Oh that is RICH coming from the guy who’s favorite snack is Castella!” Joe fumed, shaking his head as Cherry put the brownies into the oven. “I hope they’re as burnt and dry as they look on the box when they’re done.”

“Good, they’ll match your complexion.” Cherry snickered, laughing harder when Joe tasered his ribs from behind.

Hiromi watched them with a soft smile, taking the abandoned spatula and giving it a lick.

Joe really was being dramatic. Boxed brownies were delicious.

A manga- the only one in the series with crisp edges still, a fading Hachiko Statue with a misspelled city and wrong name, an assortment of pictures of their slightly dry but delicious brownies, and a framed photograph of all of them together.

These were Hiromi’s treasures.

Wholesome Reki Kyan Headcanon

So we all know that Reki has a closet full of the same hoodie just in different colours right? How cute would it be if he had hoodies dedicated to each member of his Skate family?

What I mean is that, he has one-two hoodie colours (depending on the person) for each member.

Langa is light blue. Cherry is pastel pink. Joe is like a generic green. Miya has either a light green or purple. And Shadow has either orange or maybe black.

I think it would also be cute if each hoodie had like little designs on them.

Langa’s hoodie would be a light blue with little snowflakes or maybe a frost pattern. Think something similar to Jack Frosts hoodie from ROTG but in a lighter blue. Or maybe he would have Langa’s little character.

Obviously Cherry’s would have Cherryblossoms on it, probably around the neck and the pocket.

I feel like Joe’s would have his tattoo on the shoulder sleeve

Miya’s would have little kitty paws in the same areas as Cherry’s.

I think Shadows would have little flowers on it, as a call back to his actual job. I feel like if the hoodie is black, Reki might have used bleach to like paint in the flowers.

↘ Therefore, he knows perfectly good what to do when you drift off to your own world, when you have a moment of hesitation or when you just feel unwell.

↘ He is an extremely understanding and calm guy, he knows that you need your favorite stuffed animal during attacks, and when you are stressed you reach for sweet snacks or ice cream. He starts a conversation with you right away and listens to you very carefully until you let him say something.

↘ Sometimes you say stupid stuff to a stranger or family member, but Kaoru immediately corrects you so that you can remember in the future not to say such words.

↘ You learn very quickly, so you spend your free time learning to write, paint and sketch. This is one of your favorite forms of dating (going to the zoo is another because you love animals).

Okay, I’ve thought a lot about this one. Don’t ask me why, but Stand Out from A Goofy Movie. Specifically the version tagged and I didn’t mean for this to turn into a headcanon post, but I wanna talk about it sooo let’s go

I firmly believe that he was a really quiet kid. He blended into the background and stayed on the sidelines, but when he did talk or make himself known, he was a people pleaser. But it wasn’t really him.

Unlike the rest of the infinity crew, skating wasn’t always his first outlet. It was botany.

Plants are unapologetically themselves and just exist. From every flower to every weed, whether it was poisonous or the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. They were just there.

And maybe little Hiromi wanted to be like that. To be himself and just exist without a care.

It still took a couple of years between wanting and doing, but that was exactly what he did. He spent that time quietly figuring out what he likes and growing into the person he wants to be.

When he was happy with himself, when he felt comfortable with who he was, that was when the makeup came along. He wasn’t a full on clown punk at first. Just some eyeliner. On days he was feeling really bold, he’d smoke out some eyeshadow.

It was when he got into skating and discovered S that he realized he could be anyone he wanted to be. When he was on that track, he had everyone’s undivided attention. Their praise, their cheers.

The Clown Punk of The S Community was born.

He’s loud and outspoken and he stands out and it’s everything he wanted to be after spending his early years making himself virtually invisible.

And yeah, maybe the makeup is a bit of a safety blanket. A persona that he hides behind, but he’s happy and he finds people to accept him as he is with or without the makeup.

Anyways I was curious on like,, what you think the sk8 characters most sensitive places were? For Reki I’ve always seen underarms/knees, then for Langa I’ve always seen his back, and stomach and sides UwU

Poor Langa, the back stomach and sides cover so much surface but I can see him giggling and covering his face if Reki tickles him lightly cause he secretly loves it hehehe

- ♾️

Oo, this is a grand question! Let's see:

Reki: Underarms and knees are great spots for sure! He gives me "One whole tickle spot" energy, but definitely his armpits! He'd try to do that thing where he tucks his arms behind his head, but Joe and Langa will sneak up and jab their hands into them just to hear him scream. Also upper ribs. Great spot to make Reki laugh!

Langa: Ooo, his back stomach and sides are perfect spots to go for! Also: his neck. Like- super gentle tickles there or just the threat of sticking your hand there will make him turtle up so fast! "People think Langa is so glamorous but watch this." I love the thought of him covering his face and being all giggly that's so freaking CUTE!

Cherry: This is a man who'll cut you if you try tickling him-literally. He has pulled a spoon knife on Joe before. It was all very funny intense. He'd have such ticklish thighs? I think his waist would be bad too, but especially his thighs! Squeezing them will make his laugh silent, and gentle tracing will earn you a smack to the shoulder. Joe finds it absolutely hilarious, even if it ends with him getting his butt kicked.

Joe: Ticklish stomach! He's such a big dude- all muscle and what not- if you poke him in the belly/belly button he'll turn into the Pillsbury dough boy with how giggly he gets. He'd also have ticklish feet? Cannot, and I mean CANNOT get pedicures without giggling like a goon. Might accidentally kick you if you're too close.

Shadow: His chest would be such a terrible spot! Poking him there will make him fold faster than a bad hand in poker. It's like Reki and his upper ribs too- only the entire circumference of his chest is ticklish (and his shoulder blades and back too). Shadow's one of those people who'll brag about not being ticklish because he's only really ticklish in that area. It took a long time for the squad to figure out he was sensitive there; when they did Shadow was done for.

Miya: Another "One whole tickle spot" kid! I think his worst spots would be his feet and his belly. Miya gets distracted by his games on the daily to the point natural disasters could be happening and he wouldn't even flinch. Shadow and Reki will grab his ankles and tickle him, even if it always ends in them getting stuff thrown at them (or Miya getting his revenge- the kid is NIMBLE!) Joe will usually go for his belly whenever he picks him up- he'll wrap an arm around Miya's waist, tuck him up against his hip like a suitcase and tickle as he carries on with whatever he was doing; all while Miya's kicking and screaming in laughter.

Sk8 Headcanons: Shower Edition!

[How long they last in the shower and other stuff]

Joe: He takes a quick cold shower every morning and afternoon, taking 5 minutes at least, 10 minutes at most if he needs to wash his hair or shave,

Cherry: He prefers to take baths, which he stays in there for like almost at hour. When he takes showers though, he takes 30 minutes, using all the steamy hot water and using expensive hygiene products.

Shadow: Since he works at a flower shop, he likes to smell really good and so he uses a flower scented body wash and takes moderately warm showers. He probably takes 15 minutes at most and maybe showers twice a day, depending whether or not he went to 'S'.

Adam: Dude is using all the hot water, like all of it, for like an hour and is singing loudly in the shower, maybe even dancing. He is using the most expensive products for his hair and skin too.

Tadashi: He likes to take baths but since he usually takes showers, its cold water, hop in, hop out.

Reki: He has to rush to get to the bathroom first every morning to take a shower and he uses most of the hot water (leaving his sister to shower in luke-warm water afterwards) and takes 15 minutes. He has music on or is singing loudly to ignore his sister knocking on the bathroom door so she can get ready in the mornings.

Langa: He enjoys warm steamy showers and takes about 20 minutes, although, he's started to take colder showers because of the hotter climate.

Miya: He likes showers as hot as lava, just feels nice. He takes 10 minutes and was probably singing to himself quietly while in there.
