Favourite Colour? Blue-teal...that sea greeny blue lovely brightness that those without words can’t decide if it’s blue or green.

Currently Reading? (I’m so glad reading more than one book is fine!) I’m re-reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix whilst I babysit my nieces during their big sister’s HS football game (niece the eldest is in the band, and her parents are footballaholics). I’m also reading four books on my kindle and have two more by my reading chair. Of these, the one I’m most anxious to get to is The Rightful Queen.

Last Song You Listened To?  Bits of the soundtrack of “The Man of La Mancha have been running through my head for about a week, thanks to my name-picking for Philippa and Dante. :)

Last Series You Watched? Hubby TMC and I are midway through Season 2 of “The Expanse”, and liking it a lot.

Sweet, spicy or savoury?  All of the above, with minimal sweetness. I like candy corn, but usually pick something savory for a snack. (My favorite food is carb+gravy or meat+carb. My sweet tooth is very small.)

Craving?  Meatloaf. Specifically, a leftover-meatloaf sandwich.

Tea or Coffee? Tea--I cannot stand the smell of coffee, and the taste is worse!!

Currently working on? Robin River, healing my feet without taking calcium, and taking care of my compadres.

Вампус

- Подбивает всех поиграть в волейбол или устроить спортивное ориентирование

- На крайняк у него есть карты

- Первый в очереди за колбасками

- После третьей неудачной попытки Птицы-Грома поставить палатку берёт дело в свои руки

- Не пьёт, потому что за ЗОЖ

Пакваджи

- Единственный, кто взял с собой аптечку и средство от комаров

- Главный по костру и полевой кухне

- Следит, чтобы все не наклюкались

- У него самый т��плый спальный мешок

- И заныкана банка сгущёнки на утро

Рогатый змей

- Знает всё о местной флоре и фауне

- Взял с собой карту, компас и книгу "Турпоходы для чайников"

- Переживает из-за того, что в лесу не ловит интернет, потому что "мало ли что"

Vintage Ilvermorny Aesthetics

Thunderbird: old overused maps held down with steaming cups of green tea. muddy boots in the doorway and shelves full of notebooks filled with pressed flowers and observational scribbles. vintage cameras, little jars filled with everything except for what their intended for, pine cones, and thunderclouds. a yearning for a life brimming with adventure.

Pukwudgie: chunky knitted socks and wicker baskets full of string. tables overrun by neatly wrapped gifts they bought for someone simply because it made them think of that person. a porcelain teapot whistling indicating that the water for the chamomile tea is done. vases full of wildflowers and pots overflowing with mushrooms. crystal necklaces, and well preserved, vintage, healers books. an ardent desire for a life filled with meaning.

Horned Serpent: stacks of books in every nook and cranny of the house. a bubbling cauldron, inside a new potion they’ve been working on. letters to old friends. letters to new friends. a jar full of ink with a feathered quill set beside it. ancient vases filled with maps, dried branches hanging from the ceiling, and a lantern by the door. a burning passion for knowledge.

Wampus: freshly baked bread and a mortar and pestle filled with herbs. notebooks wrapped in leather and a necklace adorned with a single wampus tooth. candles at the end of their wicks, piping hot cups of black coffee, potions lined on every shelf, an engraved sword with ribbon tied around its handle, and old bottles of vintage cherry wine. a craving for experiences that are not of this world.

Pukwudgie common room headcanons

I personally picture the Common Room (and Dorms) to have a cabin in the woods feeling and look to it.

• High ceilings with lare wooden beams

• Large windows, some have window seats some don’t

• large arm chairs and blankets

• flags from each counrty hang on the walls as decorations along with Arrows, Antlers, Portraits of the many Heads of House, shelves with potion books and coldrons

• herbs and flowers hang to dry fruit possibly does as well

• fire places

• beautiful rugs

• plants everywhere, small trees in pots

• probably smells like oranges and sweets

• blanket forts are common

• house sleep overs take place in the commen room as well. Sometimes with other houses or just Pukwudgie

• Tarot card readings usually happen in little booths

• potion work spaces

• lots of help with homework happens here to

• very trusting and comforting zone

• group singing

• marshmellow roasting

• roast sessions

• agressive arguing and debating

• not common but fights do happen

• cats, toads, and probably medium sized dogs everywhere

• usually quiet

Ильверморни. Гостиная Рогатого змея

Гостиная Рогатого змея находится в восточном крыле Ильверморни. Вход в неё скрыт за колонной, которую обвивает статуя рогатого змея. Это единственный страж гостиной, который требуют у любого, пытающегося в неё проникнуть, пароль. Не потому что не способен отличить своих студентов от чужих, а потому что считает, что студентам полезно тренировать свою память. В качестве пароля выступают цитаты из произведений знаменитых философов, писателей, мыслителей - как из числа волшебников, так и немагов. Если студент произнёс пароль правильно, алмаз во лбу змея сверкнёт, а колонна отодвинется, открывая вход в гостиную. Гостиная Рогатого змея, в отличие от всех остальных, представляет собой окружность, которую обвивает петляющий коридор, ведущий в спальни. С первого взгляда может показаться, что здесь филиал школьной библиотеки. Все настенные полки занимают многочисленные книги. Если присмотреться, то можно заметить, что они выстроены так, что вместе образуют одно целое - большого обвивающего по периметру всю стену рогатого змея. Среди студентов есть строгое правило - класть книгу на то самое место, откуда взял. И ни на какое другое. В центре гостиной среди мягких диванов и кресел располагается шахматный столик. И нет ни одного студента, который бы ни разу не сыграл за ним партию. Потолок представляет собой мини-модель звёздного неба, поэтому студенты Рогатого змея могут заниматься астрономией хоть каждую ночь, не выходя из "дома". Оформлена гостиная в синих и золотых тонах. В каждой из спален имеется небольшая доска для заметок. Там студенты составляют планы подготовки к экзаменам, пишут себе записки-напоминалки или просто фиксируют гениальные мысли, внезапно пришедшие им в голову в три часа ночи.
