A noite estava fria e um céu lindo sem estrelas, apenas uma lua cheia bela e brilhante, tomando conta do céu e carregando toda a beleza para si. Marshall vestia um casaco de pele, não por estar com frio, afinal estava sempre frio, mas apenas por estilo. Caminhava tranquilo pela sua mansão, uma taça de vinho em sua mão esquerda e um cigarro na direita. Logo tomando a sua rotina diária: visitar cada cômodo e admirar suas estátuas e analisar, às vezes precisava de algum toque ou reforma.  

Cada lugar tinha um estilo de época diferente, todos voltados a período história, artístico ou musical. Gostava muito do cômodo dos góticos e do pop, toda sua inspiração da atualidade era em torno da cantora Lady Gaga, mesmo que o gênero em si não fosse seu favorito. Cada canto estava em ordem, até chegar na ala ‘natural’. Um espaço onde suas esculturas eram puras, sem nenhuma modificação, todas nuas e revelando apenas o ouro de seu veneno. 

De frente estava tudo certo, mas ao olhas as costas, pode notas que várias, para não dizer todas, apresentavam desenhos e rabiscos de mal gosto. Apesar da pele gelada, estava queimando de raiva, a mão explodindo a taça com a fúria. - “Quem foi o verme, desgraçado, filha de uma puta ordinária que fez isso?” - os gritos ecoavam, sentindo que o culpado não estava tão longe.

Michaell por mais que tivesse sua vida dupla e em uma delas suas mãos eram sujadas de sangue, ele sabia ser justo e grato, mesmo sendo um demônio. Afinal ele tinha sentimentos humanos e bem resolvidos. Após seu encontro com os irmãos Grimory e Eros, visitou o seu irmão, o que era raro, afinal o outro tinha dificuldades de entender que agora tinha um irmão que voltara dos mortos. Mas eles sempre foram a dubla de gêmeos perfeitos, então o contato sempre permaneceu, mas não tanto físico como antigamente. Leonard, além de assassino também, era confeiteiro, assim aproveitando para pedir presentes de Páscoa para presentear aqueles que foram tão amigáveis consigo, mesmo conhecendo-os em um dia.  

Havia contado toda a história para irmão, Leonard empolgado, fez vários ovos de chocolate e caixas de bombons, um trabalho que durou tempo suficiente para ele querer passar meses descansando. Tudo embrulhado perfeitamente e atendendo os pedidos de Michaell. O demônio também juntou alguns doces que havia ganhado de alguns clientes, ele não iria conseguir comer aquele tanto de chocolate, então resolveu juntar como um bônus para o presente. 

Colocou tudo dentro da sombra e se ariscou a se teletransportar para a casa dos irmãos. Não tinha uma fantasia de coelho, mas se fantasiou de coelho da PlayBoy, o que na sua cabeça era a mesma coisa. Como tinha permissão para acessar a residência alvo, entrou pela sombra, surgindo no teto de cabeça para baixo, apenas do tronco para cima sendo exposto. - “Oh de casa!” - gritou ao invadir a sala, não encontrando ninguém, logo acessando outros cômodos atrás do outro ruivo ou do loiro. Encontrou o mais novo na cozinha, aparecendo bem acima dele. - “Oie! Seu irmão tá aqui também?"

"Mas hein?! De onde que diabos o cowboy apareceu??" Jamison foi salvo intencionalmente ou não por um misterioso estranho que apareceu repentinamente. Ele e Hoggi estavam com as mãos bastante ocupadas destruindo robôs que acabaram estragando o grande roubo deles em um banco local. Eles poderiam ter fugido dali quando a invasão começou. Mas os dois junkers odiavam robôs e omnics mais do que tudo. Começaram a destruir o máximo que podiam os inimigos e acabaram por ajudar as pessoas que fugiam desesperadas dali. Porem por mais que destruíssem, mas robôs eram substituídos. Era uma luta sem fim.

Jamison e Hoggi acabaram sendo encurralados quando alguém aparece no ultimo momento

"Oi colega, de onde você saiu huh? Ninguém pediu sua ajuda aqui não! Eu e o Hoggi damos contas do recado muito bem viu!!" Mako grunhiu e socou a cabeça de Junkrat que gemeu de dor mas calou a boca por um momento. "Tá, tá bom! Obrigado senhor cowboy… quer ajudar a gente a destruir os robôs… por favor?" A voz dele parecia tediosa e um tanto ríspida. Mas ele acabava fazendo tudo que o seu parceiro mandava.

idk how to say this without sounding really boomer-ey, but like, what happened to horror content for kids? maybe i’m using the word “horror” a little liberally but i remember when i was a kid there was SO much out there that existed solely for the purpose of scaring kids in a safe, fun, age-appropriate way. just off the top of my head there’s goosebumps, scary stories to tell in the dark, tales from the crypt (little before my time though), coraline, mirror mask, monster house, dark crystal (more incidentally scary but w/e), even courage the cowardly dog; all these really fantastic books and shows and movies that let kids explore being scared on their own terms.

now there’s idk, those new addams family movies? but those aren’t really scary.

i see people talking about the “kid-ification” of horror games and i can’t help but wonder if part of the reason kids latch onto that stuff so much now is because there’s nowhere else for them to experience healthy, safe fear. a little kid wants to get the thrill of being scared, but their parents won’t let them watch any actual horror movies, so they go on youtube and what do you know, there’s markiplier playing another cheap horror game set in a toy store or whatever, and now that kid’s fear quota is being met. (obviously there’s more to it than that, but it’s a theory i have)

this like, doesn’t really matter probably but idk, i feel bad that ~kids these days~ aren’t getting the experience of something scary made specifically for them with their genuine enjoyment in mind, rather than whatever the next fnaf ripoff is that just wants to sell them merch. being a kid and watching a well-made scary movie feels like you’re finally being taken seriously; you’re not being babied or coddled, you’re being trusted to face the skeksis and the other mother and the nebbercracker house and not back down. i wish people were still making media that respected kids that much.
