Hello, I'm Everilde (or Ash, as some know me best)! I have been writing all my life, but this is the first time I've ever created a Tumblr for it. I currently write fanfiction and post on AO3, but wanted a space with more community, where I could share my other WIPs and original fiction. I’m not going to post this to the main tag because it’s very rough and disjointed, but I wrote it for myself. I thought I’d share it in case anyone is interested. Not mentioned directly but alludes to anxiety, depression, and self-deprecation.

Leviathan finds you in your room.

You’ve seemed quieter—distant. He’s sure you’re exhausted and need time to recharge—he understands—but he can’t help the concern that worries its way into his heart. Your smile no longer reaches your eyes, unable to hide the look of defeat that shadows your face when you think you’re alone. He knows it well.

The light of your D.D.D catches the tears that stain your cheeks as you scroll mindlessly, curled up in bed and swathed in darkness.

His brothers should be here in his stead, they’re better at this than him, yet he quietly slips inside despite his insecurities. He can’t leave you alone—couldn’t walk away if he tried—though his legs shake and head swims, chest constricting under the weight of his anxiety.

Your D.D.D falls to the wayside, and you scramble to sit upright as he awkwardly seats himself on the edge of your bed, nervously twisting the cord of his headphones around his fingers. “H-hey,” he manages, glancing between you and the wall.

“L-Levi,” you stutter, voice raw. “Sorry. I forgot to accept your trade in Mononoke Land.  It completely slipped my mind.”

“Oh, it’s okay.”

He forgot too; his mind occupied by you.

“T-that’s not why I’m here!” he adds quickly.

You drop your gaze, opening your mouth only to close it a second later, lapsing into silence. He watches your throat bob as you swallow, absentmindedly reaching out to grab your hand. Your entire body stiffens.

“Ah, I’m sorry!” he gasps. “I wasn’t . . .”

Of course, you don’t want a disgusting demon such as him to touch you. How could he be so reckless? He can see GAME OVER flashing before his eyes.

“I know what you’re thinking, and you’re not.”

He squeaks as your hand encloses around his, soft and warm; he gently squeezes yours in turn.

“You just surprised me is all,” you reassure, smiling slightly and giving him a glimpse of the light he so desperately sought after. “And I love spending time with you—”

A direct hit!

“But tell me, what’s on your mind. Is everything all right?” Your expression morphs into one of concern, your eyes searching his, and his heart sinks.

“No, no, no!” he exclaims with a shake of his head. “This is wrong—all wrong!” He tightens his hold on your hand, face softening at your bewilderment. “It’s supposed to be the other way around.”

“What is?”

He sighs in frustration. “This. I, like the Lord of Shadow, rode out into the night on a perilous journey to come to my Henry’s aid in their darkest hour.”

You laugh fondly. “Levi . . . don’t worry. I’m okay.” His heart jumps into his throat as you rest your head on his shoulder, playing with the buttons on his jacket. “It’s just been a long week.”

There’s a pause before he snakes an arm around your waist, tucking your head beneath his chin, his breath rustling your hair. This is beyond his comfort level, but he wants this, wants you to depend on him. So, he holds you, his love for you overshadowing the fear that skirts the edges of his mind, growing as you lean into his clumsy embrace, tears dampening his shirt.

“What if nothing changes? What if I’m always like this?” you sob. “I don’t want you to waste your time on someone like me.”

“Believe me when I say you’re the best thing to happen to me,” he says, face flushing in embarrassment. “My time’s better spent with you. I-I’d do this every night without regret. Like you do for me.” He breathes in, steadying himself. “You can trust me. I’ll show you.”

You thread your fingers together. “I do. I trust you.”

Tears well in his eyes, and he smiles to himself, pulling you closer as you relax against him. You spill your heart out to him, crying until the tears run dry, and you’re tired and shaking, while he’s wet, covered in snot—it’s a small price to pay in the end.

“Thank you,” you whisper, never letting go of his hand although clammy and unsteady, squeezing a bit too hard but meaning well all the same.

One day he’ll gain the courage to tell you how much you mean to him. Tonight, he hopes you can see it in the way he dries your face with his jacket and hugs you tightly, staying by your side through the good and now the bad. He loves both.

“No probs.”

Last song I listened to: City of Angels by Em Beihold

Currently watching: The Fall of the House of Usher! The first episode really got me worried because I wasn't into it, but the 2nd one was great and so was the 3rd and 4th so I will have to continue. I still think it will not be as good as the main 3 shows the director did before (to me), but at least it will be better than Midnight Club. Also, Camille is so hot and also such a bitch (just the way I like my female characters haha).

Currently reading: I am rereading Mockingjay to finally conclude my reread of the Hunger Games trilogy, but this wasn't the best time since that book is really about the war and I forgot there was an hospital bombing until I reread the scene yesterday...

Current Obsessions: Realm of the Elderlings is still my number one. I just reread some scenes from the books yesterday and the feeling I get reading those books is unmatched. It's even stronger than when I reread some Oscar Wilde works. I also am really into Our Flag Means Death and Succession still :D Oh and Lord of the Rings somehow is becoming an obsession too and I am enjoying the books even more than I did the first time.

The main couple from Mr. Heart. I wasn't a huge fan of the tall lead and I didn't feel the chemistry between them. The short lead carried that series.

PhaYo from 2moons. Do I need to explain? We can blame GXXOD for this. He didn't want to act in a BL and he certainly didn't wanna kiss Bas.

The main couple from Golden Blood. Yea the chemistry was never there and tbh they were a little dull. Their kisses felt lackluster.

WaiiApo from Waterboyy the Series. Okay this one is actually about execution. Earth and New just smash their lips together also they didn't have much chemistry. The series as a whole was quite awful.

Don't come for me y'all but MekBoss from My Engineer. I love Inntouch, but he and Ryan did not give what they were supposed to. I actually couldn't stand MekBoss lol.

Do Gun and Jung Woo from My Sweet Dear. Again, this one was more about execution. I really loved the series...well most of it...but their kiss held no passion. I can't even find a gif, but just know the kiss was forgettable. It was just one and honestly they could've scrapped it and the series would've been the same.

The main couple from Yandaixiejie No. 10. The series was pretty forgettable and their kissing was meh.

The main couple from History: My Hero. MEH! I didn't even realize it was Aaron Lai in it until BLIH came out.

The 2nd couple in Paint With Love. I hate to say it, but Yoon only seems to have chemistry with Lay. Exhibit A.

The main couple from My Gear and Your Gown. No chemistry at all and they left zero impression on me. I forgot about them even sharing a kiss. By the end of the series I was only there for Pure and Folk.

B, N, U and Z for the fandom ask game please 👀

B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

Harrisco actually. Its so obvious to me now, but it was seeing the fandom edits and the like here on tumblr that made me go 'huh, I should check this ship out' and then I went and devoured basically everything for the ship on Ao3 at the time. And then started writing for the ship myself.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)

Well, in general terms, I wish I saw more aro headcanons from non-aspec people. I'm starting to see more of that to some degree but when I'm in the mood for aro characters the pickings are slim in fandom even when there's a canonically aro character. Or possibly especially when there's a canonically aro character? It's kinda gotten to where every time we get a canonically aro character in a show I wind up avoiding that fandom for a while because there's an uptick of allos going 'well actually what if i ship them romantically and ignore their queer identity anyway because fandom is boring without shipping' and well how dare I want representation that isn't erased by the fandom huh? (*insert big sigh here*) And that's not even touching what happens if you happen to mention headcanoning as aro a character who is popularly headcanoned as gay/lesbian but doesn't actually have a canonical sexuality mentioned. (Looking straight at Luke Skywalker and Queen Elsa.)

I think another thing I wish I saw more of in fandom was acknowledging character faults without it turning into character bashing. It's something I try to balance out in my fics, making space for character flaws to be called out while still showing them learning and growing from that. But I see a lot of fics out there where a single mistake in canon is the basis for damning that character forever and clearly they're secretly an evil monster. Its a phenomenon that happens more in some fandoms than others, but it does pop up everywhere and can be exhausting to run into. Cobra Kai seems to suffer from character bashing a lot in particular, which made my foray into that fandom rather short lived.

In the Flash fandom in particular, I wish there were more Gideon fights back against Eobard fics. It's a fun premise to write and Gideon deserves more love than canon gives her. So I'm always excited when I find that someone else has written her as more than a passive background character. (And then maybe Ao3 would finally stop conflating tags for Gideon on the Flash and Gideon on Legends as being the same character when they aren't...)

U - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms

Yuri Lowell from Tales of Vesperia - He's a vigilante trouble maker who encourages delinquency in his friend Estelle (the Princess) and helps save the world because he's a good person who just wants to protect the people he loves and the world they live in. He's snarky and probably has a jail cell in Zaphias reserved specifically for him and has canonically shoved knights into the fountain for various reasons that had Karol going O_O why??? upon hearing it recounted later. (Yuri - I forgot about that. Still hilarious. *snicker*)

Cisco Ramon from The Flash - Genius mechanical engineer whose greatest power is his imagination because what else would let him create so many amazing inventions? He's steadfast and loyal, probably the kindest person on the show. His hair is amazing - which he knows quite well - and he gets flustered when complimented on it by cute guys. (Leo - Love the hair. Cisco - *blushes*). It's amazing when oblivious show writers think they've written a straight guy, but it's actually a character who is intensely bisexual.

Atton Rand from Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords - Snarky former Sith accidentally finds atonement and joins the rebooting of the Jedi. Or rejoins the Sith depending on the path you take in the game. Are you good or evil? Atton Rand is ride or die for you either way. Also there's a chance that he'll make fun of the 'are you an angel' line from The Phantom Menace and that cracks me up.

Bastila Shan from Knights of the Old Republic - She's very much the stereotypical uptight Jedi and it's actually no real surprise when she falls to the Dark Side (briefly or not depending on your actions in the game) but she's a lot of fun when she actually lets loose. It's interesting to see her learn to relax and make friends and drop the holier than though attitude the Jedi hammered into her. She just very much wants to be a good person and protect others. And if you play with her as the love interest (default love interest for guys, mods to unlock her for the ladies) then it is absolutely hilarious to hear her say 'shut up and kiss me, you fool'.

Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia - Tragic backstory? Check. Covering his crippling depression with jokes and innuendoes? Check. Struggles to open up to his friends and be honest about his feelings? Check. Triple agent causing headaches for everyone? Triple check. But if you get him the highest relationship values he demonstrates he may actually be gay or bi as he hits on Lloyd ("put on a show that'll make me fall in love" is not a straight thing for him to say to Lloyd... at all) and there a scene that will only change if he has the highest values at that point in the game - the rest of the scenes are different depending on every character, not just him.

Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go (prompts optional but encouraged)

Tales of Symphonia was the first game I played where player choices affected the game itself. While the game's ending doesn't really change, there are scenes in the game itself that are different based on the hidden relationship values system. I had no idea about this first time through and got Colette every time, but I learned about the hidden system as I started branching into fandom spaces and did replays with Raine, Genis, Presea, Kratos... and Zelos (sorry, Regal, I was just... uh, not super interested in you, my dude) and it was really Zelos who captivated me the most. And he's queer coded, heavily so, so I suppose it's really no surprise I adore the redheaded, gender non-conforming menace.

It was really my first real venture into fandom spaces beyond just fanfic too, so Tales of Symphonia is very near and dear to my heart for all sorts of reasons. I read a lot of fan theories about the game, but was still at a point where I was way too timid to really contribute my own too much. High school me was definitely struggling with self confidence at the time.

I've got a lot of headcanons for the game which have changed to some degree or other over time, so with the game's HD re-release happening in, like, three days, I've decided the time has come for a replay and I'm really hoping to see a bit of a fandom boom happening as new players discover this game and people who haven't played in a while rediscovering their love for it. Might be time to dust off my old fics, go on an editing spree, and start posting them on Ao3.

favourite genre(s): I prefer a blend. I'm a sap for romance (as if my writing didn't make that obvious enough), but romance for the sake of romance tends to bore me. I prefer a story that combines that with something on an epic scale, usually with fantasy/thriller elements (see: The Originals, Game of Thrones, or ACOTAR). Other than that, 80s and 90s horror films do it for me.

world building works

“The Myceal Desert” — originally a world doc dedicated to a cat civilization heavily inspired by Ancient Egypt that I’ve been considering adding into my Big Project (tm)

“The Origins” — a word doc dedicated to the scribbled down notes I have surrounding what was originally Wolvden Lore but has since grown into something much bigger. It’s currently mostly about the Parthenon of Gods that rule over my various wolf packs.

“End / Elytrian Lore” — a doc I have that’s similar to the Origins doc in the sense that it’s filled with what is mostly mindless notes and scribbles. Though this one is about my Minecraft Au and the History and Biology of the creatures of the End Dimension.

“The ARK” — admittedly my most empty word doc that is going to be scribbles of ideas for my AU based around the game Ark: Survival Evolved with the slightest hint of Horizon: Zero Dawn.

original character works

“The Afterwood CYA” — a choose your own adventure style game I’ve been working on and off over the past year. Essentially you play the part of a wolf (yes, within the Origins universe) that wakes up within a world of eldritch horrors and must do what you can to survive.

“Afterwood CYA Prologue” — another choose your own adventure game that would act like a prologue to the above. Unlike the above, though, it would have a ‘canon’ ending that would be alluded to throughout the main CYA game. It’s meant to be like a tutorial level for the larger CYA.

“Ghast loses her wings” — an original character of mine (more specifically, an elytrian minecraft oc based off the Origins Mod) gets her wings ripped off a la Maleficent style and has to come to terms with the consequences of that, both mentally and physically. The story is actually told through the eyes of Goose’s (tagged above! :D) OC.

“Lord of the Rain” — a God within ‘the Origins’ Universe, Thunder Weaver, comes face to face with his murderer; the woman who loved him more than anything.

“In the Beginning, there was Nothing.” — a short, “introduction monologue” style fic that would have introduced the Parthenon of the Origin Universe as well as the reasoning behind their creation.

“Into the Night Sky” — another wolf fic but it was more of a ‘filler’ than anything else. Originally meant to be a short little scene explaining the beginning of a massive shift within one of the packs and was heavily inspired by dialogue from the show Grey’s Anatomy.

“Driftrot” — “My parents named me Vulturekit, for the markings on my face. My father always seemed proud of it, some sort of sign from Starclan, but as I grew it just felt like a bitter reminder.”

“Dying” — “Frosted was never an optimist, so when he realizes that Badger Bite doesn’t have the herbs he needs to help his friend recover from influenza, he goes to extremes to ensure Whispering Wood’s survival.” Set within the Origin universe.

Saw your tags on the chronic condition post and I feel that so hard. I've been sick for the past month and haven't been able to eat much as a result. I've been able to do maybe 10 hours of work over 4 weeks and have only had a few days where I can sit and play video games for more than 30 minutes at a time because I've been nauseous and in pain every time I eat. I'm having an endoscopy done tomorrow and I hope they'll be able to figure out what's going on because lord knows the ER didn't do shit (to the point that the GI doc I went to was FURIOUS with how little they did. I literally got put in a corner of a room, alone, with a screen in front of me and the nurses forgot I was there (which wasn't even the worst part of it).) I have two more dr appointments this month after the procedure and I'm hoping that, between the three, they'll figure something out because I'm so bored and tired and sick of not being able to take care of myself (Plus I miss exercising :( ). Glad to hear you're feeling better!!!!! It also gives me hope that I'll wake up one day and not feel like garbage lol

GI isn't my main problem area currently (pelvic floor my detested), but since childhood my tum was/was been the BANE of my existence lol; and ohhhh I feel you about the ER man- one of the most acutely painful experiences of my life was at 1:00 AM where all of a sudden my upper stomach/chest was just. it felt like it was strangling itself to death- i could barely breathe, i threw up just because of the pain. Mom rushed me to the closest ER, a small baptist one 10 mins from the house. They rushed me back and took some blood/did an IV, but by that time the pain was passing. They kept me for 3-4 hours, but had no one on site that could do an ultrasound.... all they could offer me was an x-ray, which wouldn't show anything anyhow. Doctor I talked to said it could have been 1,000 things, was guessing it was some really bad food poisoning........ exactly a week later, same exact scenario ensued, Mom rushed me to a different ER.... they did an ultrasound and literally said my gallbladder was about to burst & was full of gallstones :))))

Unfortunately getting my gallbladder removed didn't really solve my GI health- if anything, it kind of harmed it... I developed heartburn, and later pretty sever constipation. I developed colitis, and then later proctituis. Doc put me on stool softeners & miralax, and now I literally cannot pass stool's w/o taking those regularly.

Though I will say, before getting my gallbladder out, I also had a LOT of trouble eating food- I lost like.... 40+ lbs without trying to. I also would get fairly lightheaded/dizzy/just not feel "right" a lot of the time. I'd defo suggest getting an ultrasound done if you can to rule out gallstones from the "list of 1,000 things that can cause GI issues" :'D

I also had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy done (which i hope yours went well btw!) within a few months from each other, even after the surgery cause I was still occasionally getting pains, some just as painful as before the surgery- I likely think I have stray gallstones just. fuckign shit up. in my body. lol. That or they're like. kinda stuck int he bile duct were my gallbladder used to be... at least thats what the sickos on reddit have said :'D

Anyway, this all to say is I FELL YOU ANON :(( And I also miss exercising!!! i literally developed such a great scheduel for morning walks when i lived/worked at home, and was so excited to continue doing that after i moved- but tbh walking/exercising was so triggering for me because it's usually my time to focus/relax and all I could think about when walking was how much pain i was in/how I couldn't focus on the music... now i'm unreasonably scared to start back up again :(((

Though on the brightside, even tho i still am in pain, I am defo in a way, way better place than I was a year ago. It was so scary being in an amount of pain where I just... thought about not being here anymore JUST because of the pain. That was scary for me, esp since I felt like I should have been ontop of the world after moving.

But yea, defo doing... better :'D I hope the trend towards a more painless future continues, and that you get some answers/relief of your own anon! You got this and you're not alone! :D

1. why do you not bother for a concrete personal pronouns and an alias? - two things; i've both grown to be unbothered by people mischaracterizing me and me not spending a lot of time to invest into either! i have some semblance of my own identity in mind, but its used only for humor's sake as comparison to other peoples' perception of me HAH

2. what's with the old aliases? why mention them at all? - i've grown attached! i cant get over any of my old aliases that i gave just the tiniest portion of purpose, even for a little bit. plus, its something for people to fall back on if they wanna get back to talking to me like normal instead of referring to me like. idk, thistle or smth as a joke (please do this btw, itd honestly make my day)

3. why do you know [abc], but not [xyz]? - once again, i dont invest enough time to know things. im unaware of, surprisingly, a lot of things, so if youre looking to ask me something along the lines with an everyday-something like preworkout or cologne is... well, im not your guy - if a note i made of myself helps, i describe myself as someone completely detached from the real world

4. why do you talk a lot? - i just have a lot to say! also, because i picked up that being extra-omega-clear helps convey your intentions and reasoning, which is especially useful when talking to people with bpd...?? which i picked it up from in the form of a post about this specifically?? - whatever the case is, i just have a lot to say. bookends.

5. why did you ghost me on [xyz]? - now, contrary to question #4, i DONT have a lot to say on topics im unfamiliar or otherwise uncomfortable with answering. if i ghosted you, it's either because of those two reasons OR i forgot - this happens a lot. like, a LOT lot and im guilty of it, so please bear with it. im not trying to be mean nor take anything personally when i do it, i promise

6. why are your tags like that? - im anxious! again! i purposefully skirted around actual searched tags to make my own obscure tags that no one in any of the nine circles of hell would dare look up! but if its the story behind them you want... - "#cataclysmic ranting" and "#random reblog" are both tags ported over from my main blog! im keeping them there for legacy purposes (and to make things easier on my end) - "#oc discussion" is a bit of a stretch because i think this'll flood out my blog from the other people posting in it. otherwise, i use it to discuss my own ocs, as it says on the tin! - more to come...

7. why "patches-of-thistle"? - it's a project moon/mili reference! specifically of the song, "through patches of violet". i replaced violet with thistle because thistle had been given his name by king delgal because of his eye color (purple) - small, unneeded info, but this post helped me praise the name as "thistle" to almost religious levels

my name is daniel. I'm canadian-pakistani and I use he/him.

usually the posts that I make on here are mini-research projects that I do out of pure interest, generally in relation to culture and languages. the research posts I make are tagged under "my posts" but sometimes I forget to tag them or they don't work for whatever reason.

I'd say the main things that comprise my fields of interest are music, the world, and video games.

music: my favourite artists are taylor swift, lucy dacus, lorde, phoebe bridgers, fka twigs, fiona apple, rosalía and...lana del rey. my last.fm is dan13l__, my musicboard is dan13l and my spotify is here. my all-time favourite songs are "a world alone" by lorde, "addictions" by lucy dacus and "bye bye baby (taylor's version) [from the vault]" by taylor swift!

the world: I love learning about different cultures and languages. I speak english natively and french at a fluent level and I'm learning mandarin (~b1) and urdu (~a1). I also plan on learning punjabi in the future! I particularly like learning about culture in asia (not just east asia in case I need to clarify...).

video games: my 3 favourite video game franchises are pokemon, ace attorney and the legend of zelda.

pokemon games I've played: y (favourite), alpha sapphire, moon, shield, violet (I've saved enough money for when it comes out) and I'm sort of playing pokemon white 2 (I have defeated 3/4 of the elite four and I took a break like a year ago and forgot to resume it. oops.)

legend of zelda games I've played: twilight princess hd (favourite), spirit tracks, a link between worlds, phantom hourglass, wind waker hd, breath of the wild. I'm currently playing ocarina of time 3d and skyward sword and I own majora's mask 3d (I'll start once I've finished OoT)

ace attorney games I've played: phoenix wright: ace attorney, justice for all, trials and tribulations and I'm currently on the last case of apollo justice!

It’s an old idea that is in my drafts since 2017.  Let me elaborate:

Sansa's Wedding:  

"A bride at her wedding should be more than well." His voice was not unkind. "You seemed close to tears."

"Your eyes give the lie to your tongue." Ser Garlan turned her, drew her close to his side. "My lady, I have seen how you look at my brother. Loras is valiant and handsome, and we all love him dearly . . . but your Imp will make a better husband. He is a bigger man than he seems, I think."

The music spun them apart before Sansa could think of a reply. It was Mace Tyrell opposite her, red-faced and sweaty, and then Lord Merryweather, and then Prince Tommen. "I want to be married too," said the plump little princeling, who was all of nine. "I'm taller than my uncle!"

"I know you are," said Sansa, before the partners changed again. Ser Kevan told her she was beautiful, Jalabhar Xho said something she did not understand in the Summer Tongue, and Lord Redwyne wished her many fat children and long years of joy. And then the dance brought her face-to-face with Joffrey.

Sansa stiffened as his hand touched hers, but the king tightened his grip and drew her closer. "You shouldn't look so sad. My uncle is an ugly little thing, but you'll still have me."

"You're to marry Margaery!"

"A king can have other women. Whores. My father did. One of the Aegons did too. The third one, or the fourth. He had lots of whores and lots of bastards." As they whirled to the music, Joff gave her a moist kiss. "My uncle will bring you to my bed whenever I command it."

Sansa shook her head. "He won't."

"He will, or I'll have his head. That King Aegon, he had any woman he wanted, whether they were married or no."

Thankfully, it was time to change again. Her legs had turned to wood, though, and Lord Rowan, Ser Tallad, and Elinor's squire all must have thought her a very clumsy dancer. And then she was back with Ser Garlan once more, and soon, blessedly, the dance was over.

In summary,

That time when Joffrey said to Sansa: “I will put a bastard on you just like that King Aegon". 

This is yet one more JoJo thing, JoJo is what I call all the things that make Jon and Joffrey foils. The main one being: Jon is a Prince disguised as a Bastard while Joffrey is a Bastard disguised as a Prince.

So, while Jon is all: “Jon trembled. "I will never father a bastard," he said carefully. "Never!" He spat it out like venom”. —A Game of Thrones - Jon I

Here is Joffrey comparing himself with Aegon IV “the Unworthy”, the King that fathered numerous bastards...    

And this is the second time Joffrey is compared with ‘an Aegon’.  The first time was this:

The morning of King Joffrey's name day dawned bright and windy, with the long tail of the great comet visible through the high scuttling clouds. Sansa was watching it from her tower window when Ser Arys Oakheart arrived to escort her down to the tourney grounds. "What do you think it means?" she asked him.

"Glory to your betrothed," Ser Arys answered at once. "See how it flames across the sky today on His Grace's name day, as if the gods themselves had raised a banner in his honor. The smallfolk have named it King Joffrey's Comet."

Doubtless that was what they told Joffrey; Sansa was not so sure. "I've heard servants calling it the Dragon's Tail."

"King Joffrey sits where Aegon the Dragon once sat, in the castle built by his son," Ser Arys said. "He is the dragon's heir—and crimson is the color of House Lannister, another sign. This comet is sent to herald Joffrey's ascent to the throne, I have no doubt. It means that he will triumph over his enemies."

And who is the real “dragon’s heir”??? In the Show Jon’s Targaryen name was Aegon but I still hope it will be Aemon...

So every time that Joffrey is compared with ‘an Aegon’ in Sansa’s Chapters we can find allusions to Jon Snow??? Uhmmm.......... Curiouser and curiouser!  

Onto the next Sansa's chapter:

Joffrey's Wedding:

Tyrion scarce touched his food, Sansa noticed, though he drank several cups of the wine. For herself, she tried a little of the Dornish eggs, but the peppers burned her mouth. Otherwise she only nibbled at the fruit and fish and honeycakes. Every time Joffrey looked at her, her tummy got so fluttery that she felt as though she'd swallowed a bat.

—A Storm of Swords - Sansa IV

In summary, 

That time when Sansa felt very uncomfortable imagining Joffrey putting a bastard on her and she felt like a bat was inside her tummy.

It’s interesting that Sansa describes the idea of carrying Joffrey's bastard as though she'd swallowed a bat.

Sansa usually says that her tummy flutters when she feels uncomfortable, distressed, scared, etc, but this is the only time that she links that “fluttering” feeling with bat wings. 

One of the meanings of the verb flutter is the “beating of wings.” And George has used the image of bat wings as a symbol of dragon wings several times in the Books.

Viserion launched himself from the ceiling, pale leather wings unfolding, spreading wide. The broken chain dangling from his neck swung wildly. His flame lit the pit, pale gold shot through with red and orange, and the stale air exploded in a cloud of hot ash and sulfur as the white wings beat and beat again.

—A Dance with Dragons - The Dragontamer

As you can see, dragon wings are usually described similar to bat wings or leather wings, as it also happens in this passage in reference to Sansa:

“What wife?”

“I forgot, you’ve been hiding under a rock. The northern girl. Winterfell’s daughter. We heard she killed the king with a spell, and afterward changed into a wolf with big leather wings like a bat, and flew out a tower window. But she left the dwarf behind and Cersei means to have his head.”

That’s stupid, Arya thought. Sansa only knows songs, not spells, and she’d never marry the Imp.

As I said before, the fascinating image of Sansa as a wolf with big leather wings makes me think of Sansa wearing a Targaryen Cloak/ Marrying a Targaryen in the future.  

And there are even more Targaryen allusions in the Joffrey’s wedding passage: 

FIRE: For herself, she tried a little of the Dornish eggs, but the peppers burned her mouth = Eggs (dragon eggs) + Burned her mouth (dragon fire). 

BLOOD: Every time Joffrey looked at her, her tummy got so fluttery that she felt as though she'd swallowed a bat = Carrying Joffrey’s bastard / carrying Aegon’s IV bastard / carrying a dragon’s heir (the blood of the dragon). 

This two events happened in two consecutive Sansa’s Chapters from the same Book (ASOS), during two weddings, the couples that married didn’t love each other, the marriages were unconsummated, the discussion of bastards was involved, Targaryen allusions were present... there is a pattern: Weddings / Aegons / Bastards / dragon's heirs / Kings / Joffrey / Sansa / Jon / Fire & Blood... 

So maybe in Sansa's future she will wed, for love, to a real Aegon descendant, and due her fertility, during her wedding night she will conceived a baby dragon, a king; just like Cat conceived a king during her wedding night.

And that’s all.......... I never wrote properly about it until this summarized version here.

Alright. I kinda feel like there's no interesting love interest in New Era. I just want to say, that it is my opinion and of course, everyone can think the way the want!

So, in The Origins I found every LI interesting. Leiftan (he was my favourite), because of his mysterious personality and this whole trailor-plot later on, his parents, his guardians (I'm not sure if this is how you write it in english, oops) and his motives. My second favourite, Valkyon, also was an amazing character! I loved his opening up to Erika, his family plot, finding out he's a dragon - it was awesome route to play. Next, we have Ezarel, and, my Lord, I can say without hesitation his route was the most fun to play with! His backstory, his honey obsession, his funny nicknames. This find about not like to being touched (which was never explained, thanks a lot, Beemoov) and finally - his jokes. His fantastic teasing and this back-and-forth with Erika. And, we have Nevra. I adored that guy. He was funny, charming and unforgattable. His route was super cool, a bit awkward at times, but in a good way! And his dialogues, it was so funny!

But now? Well. We have Leiftan, Lance, Mathieu and Nevra. And, hm. I'm going to sound really mean, so, yeah. They are not interesting at all, at least for me. Leiftan? He looks way less attractive (sorry, bae, but that's the true - Beemoov made you look terrible), but that's not the main issue. For me, he's still a bit interesting. I'm curious about his backstory (I hope Beemoov will give me that), his relationship with Lance, etc. But, at the same time, he's just, a different character? Maybe only I think so, but I feel like he totally lost his personality, and I understand that he's feeling really guilty about that he's done and he probably going through a lot inside, but, now, I feel like he's so empty? I dunno. Maybe, it's because in The Origins there was this whole trailor/deamon plot, but at the same time, I chose Leiftan to be my LI without knowing he's a traitor - I was interested in him, but now, for some odd reason, it disapeared. Maybe, it's because Beemoov totally forgot about this whole soulmate thing? (what I mean is: in spin off, he tells us how much he waited for "Erika" to come, how much he adored her, ect, ect, and it's just weird that the completely gave up on it) I dunno, he's just, different in New Era. Lance - alright, I totally hate him, but he's the most interesting route, I give you that. He still doesn't make me super intrested, but I am curious about him, his route and stuff (but I'm pretty sure Beemoov will ruin it by rushing things off), so yeah. Mathieu, oh, Lord. I mean, I don't mind him being a human (I know some people do, and that's okay, it's a fantasy game after all), but he's just, for me (remember, this whole post is my opinion!), so boring. Only thing that interests me it this "him being a traitor" headcanon (I re-blog it a few days ago), but it's just a speculation and it would've been a huge rip-off of The Origins, so I dunno. He's kinda boring to me, sorry. Maybe, later on in the story, he'll turn out to be interesting. The last one, Nevra - omg. I totally feel like he lost his charm. I adored Nevra in TO (I loved every single LI in The Origins, tbh) and now, I miss him. He's no longer this flirty, funny vampire. You could say that he "grew up" or "got mature", but that doesn't work for me, I really liked him back then. Really. And, how come he didn't pick up on this whole "movie thing" in episode 4? (When Erika tells him, that the scene was like from the movie), I mean he was the master in flirts and talking to girls, how couldn't he pick up on this? She literally, straight up said r-o-m-a-n-t-i-c. I dunno, maybe I have unrealistic ideas/expectations.

I miss "Ezarel's personality" (I miss Ezarel in general). I miss different body types, different personalities, different backstory. Now, what we have? Flirty, but stupid human, "mature" and a bit awkward vampire, quiet daemon that broke up with us for some reason and hm, hard-to-understand dragon. Nice.

I decided to go and try write down facts that we know about Erika - enjoy!

She's about 22-24 years old.

She likes to cook, just like her father.

She's good at drawing (optional).

She comes from a very populated city.

She's pretty curious and has a firm sense of morality.

It's been said that she's very beautiful.

She's a rather good person, she knows she isn't perfect - but she tries her best.

She likes to take long walks.

She didn't particularly like major she was studying, but she was doing it so she could take over family business.

Her grandfather died of a heart attack.

Well, I have to say my favourite illu is with Lance. It’s just so beautiful and somewhat emotional, from the other hand, I really liked Mathieu’s one too, it was just so funny. But it doesn’t change anything, I’m still not a fan of these two. Erika’s still a dumbass and being  profligate (my poor maana), but at least this time she defented the team. Nevra literally fought with Leiftan, which is so annoying, like, isn’t he 32 years old? Can’t he act like a adult? He forgave Lance (who killed his bestie) and got over Erika, but still can’t get past Leiftan’s mistakes? Man, grow up. Leiftan’s just being Leiftan, what can I say? And Lance, well, his emotional dialogues didn’t really affect me. I don’t really care how sorry he is, he still killed Valkyon. Honestly, if he didn’t kill him (and wasn’t so agressive in episode 26) I would forgave him and probably grow to like him, in the end, I did forgive Leiftan. Next thing, Erika thought that she wouldn’t be suprised if Miiko’s feelings for Lance were mutual, and actually, in my server/in the languange that I played it was never said that Lance didn’t like her back. It was said, that she never got the courage to told him the truth. Anyway, the king - Tenjin - Koori’s ex is an asshole. I’m kind of suprised that Koori didn’t see through him before, like, I get she loved him and he manipulated her, but c’mon, you’re telling me that she was totally oblivious when it comes to him? Again, Tenjin said something like how ridiculous it is, that Nevra is Lance’s boss when dragons are way more powerful - which give me clear message that he sees people for their power/status, not who their are. It is interesting and I’m curious if he’s going to be a villian with no backstory or he will have his reasons? Oh, and this episode didn’t help me to like Koori, I still feel a bit disgusted after episode, but whatever. I also don’t enjoy this Mathieu-Koori thing? It’s odd and annoying. I almost feel like Beemoov wanted to make us feel that he’s so unique and special that every feary wants to date him, but, um, no. He’s just a human. Literally. The last (for now, I think I told everything I wanted, but if not, I will just edit the post), Tenjin said about Huang Hua being exile - which would make totally sense to me! Remeber how Erika asked her about her being a Pheonix and she didn’t wanted to answer that? I feel like she chose to be H.G’s new boss (I’m not going to call her a leader, forget it) instead of being a Pheonix, so she refused her duties. That’s why fenghuangs banished her.

Arthur Morgan x Reader

Summary: A mysterious girl joins the Van Der Linde gang just when they are about to leave Blackwater. And as they ride along, Arthur starts to care more than he should about her.

So guys, this is a story I started writing about a year ago in AO3, I wrote three parts (I'll be posting the next two within the following days) and never really continued it, and I'm still not sure if I will. But as I'm not a fan of posting in AO3, I decided to bring this story here, because it does have a special place in my heart. So if anyone likes this, let me know, and maybe I'll write something more about it ♥.

If I decide to continue this, know that I will stay true to the main events that happen in the original story in the game, but, there are going to be changes. Changes to best fit this story, so keep that in mind. (Especially involving the deaths in the game).

The dust-filled air of Blackwater was almost cold compared to the warmth of the setting sun. Today has been uneventful so far. Y/N was lazily hunched over a bar, drinking some whiskey.

The judging looks people usually gave her just because she chooses to wear pants instead of an uncomfortable skirt were no longer something she noticed. With having to look over your shoulder for almost your entire life, those curious eyes were nearly comforting.

Y/N had been in Blackwater for the past week or so. Just taking a break, or so she told herself. She considered herself to be a wanderer, a traveler. No home, no family. She could refer to herself as a ghost if she wanted to. Just a few people knew her name, her story, and most of them were dead. Most of that blood was on her hands too. And maybe that was the reason she never stayed in one place for too long.

She was brought back to reality by the sounds of two horses galloping on the street. Lawmen, probably Pinkerton agents judging by their fancy clothes.

She had heard the rumors, about the big attack on a boat that was carrying money, lots of money. Folks were saying it was the Van Der Linde gang, no one knew for sure, but everyone was talking.

She took a deep breath and muttered "what the hell".

She tossed a coin to the bartender, got out, and mounted her trusty steed and companion. Carefully following the lawmen.

They rode for a good couple of minutes. Y/N had to keep a large distance between her and the lawmen, otherwise, they could notice her. But she managed to not lose sight of them.

"Come on people, we need to leave. Hurry up" Dutch screamed to everyone on the camp. They were packing things up as fast as they could.

"Dutch, Mac and Sean are still not back. We need to look for them" Arthur was confused, to say the least. Everything happened too fast and Dutch just gave him a poor explanation about what really happened.

"I'm sure they're going to be fine, son. Right now we need to focus on leaving this place as soon as possible. I need you-" Dutch was cut off by a gunshot.

"DAVEY" Abigail tried to run to his side but John held her back.

"GET DOWN EVERYONE" Dutch screamed as he ducked behind a wagon.

Arthur was reaching out for his gun when two other gunshots were fired and the lawmen fell to the ground. Dead.

Everyone tensed up. Looking everywhere for the origin of the bullets that just pretty much saved their skin. But then the horses that belonged to the lawmen went running, revealing a person riding a horse in front of the setting sun. Arthur kept his hand on his gun and squinted his eyes trying to see the person’s face.

Y/N put down her repeater and told her horse to walk forward.

"Stop right there. Who are you?" Dutch raised his revolver to her.

Y/N chuckled and dismounted her horse. She ironically raised her hands and the tip of her hat, revealing her face.

"You're welcome, Dutch"

Dutch slowly lowered his revolver and, with a shocked face, he whispered "Oh my lord"

Arthur looked between to two of them with a worried expression. Until Dutch let out a genuine laugh, leaving him even more confused.

"I can't believe it, Y/N Y/L/N! Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" he approached the girl and enveloped her in a hug.

"It's good to see you too" Y/N smiled and patted his back.

"Dutch?" Hosea walked up to him with a questioning look. Mirrored by the gang that held the same expression.  

"Hosea, a good thing is finally happening in this cursed day" he smiled at the older man.

"Everyone listen up for a second. This is Y/N, the kind soul that just saved our lives. She is... A good friend of mine" Dutch smiled and Y/N gave the gang a small wave.

"Introductions later. Go back to packing, you all. Come on" Miss Grimshaw came over and took their attention away from the girl.

"You never mentioned her, Dutch" Hosea questioned him.

"I'm afraid she told me not to"

"I did. But still, it's a pleasure to meet you, Dutch talked about you" Y/N smiled and held her hand out for the older man to shake.

Hosea smiled and gladly shook her hand. "Likewise. Now if you’ll excuse me. Davey took a bullet, I'll go see him"

"You do that, old man. Make sure he's fine to leave this place" Dutch patted his back.

"What's happening Dutch? There's talk all around town about a big robbery on a boat, was that you?" Y/N asked with a serious expression.

"Yes, but I'm afraid it didn't go as I planned. We are leaving town" He sighed.

"I saw more horses coming our way, Dutch. We need to get out of here" Arthur stepped in, with a worried look. He eyed the new girl for a moment, she was wearing black pants, a black vest with a white shirt, a black and white bandana around her neck, and a black hat that had a red ribbon around it. He almost forgot how to breathe when she met his eyes. He turned his head quickly and tried to clear his mind. Not the time.

Y/N couldn't help but smirk, this man was intriguing her already. And truth be told he was quite handsome. She watched as he looked around the camp, where everyone was running like crazy packing everything on their wagons as the sun set.

"Let's go then, make sure everyone is ready Arthur" And with that, Arthur left and Dutch turned his attention back to Y/N.

"So, are you finally going to join us, my lady?" Dutch asked her with a hopeful smile.

"You know? I think I am in need of an adventure" Y/N smiled back at him.

As the lawmen approached them, Y/N mounted her horse and followed the Van Der Linde gang away from Blackwater.

iNVaDeR FeLL: The Nightmare Begins :: The Irken Empire (which had retained its name even after the shift in management brought about by the events of Operation Impending Doom I) was more alive than it had been in years. Signs replayed message after message redirecting convention-goers how and where to attend the Great Assigning in the Main Convention Hall on Conventia, one of the many planets conquered and repurposed for the good of the Empire. The teleporter ring was blazing almost as brightly as it once did before OID1, only this time, it brought to the surface not Irkens, but Monsters; creatures of every shape and size. They came not only from the 'kingdom' that had overtaken Irk (they called themselves 'Fell'), but those from the 'kingdoms' of conquered worlds as well, which had been expeditiously subjugated in a fashion worthy of the Irken Empire.

How Dance Got a Picture of Lust Covered in Kittens :: "there's sammaches in th' fridge," Red mumbled, feeling the lunchbox lid click shut under his claws. "'r if ya want some'n lighter, there's soup in th' freezer. just gotta nuke it..."

Burlesque Noir :: Lust peeked around the curtain to look out at the crowd, as he had done so many times before the last few days. The speakeasy was full and vibrant and alive as it was every night, as swanky a joint as Grillby could make it and still keep it safe. As packed as it was, however, Lust didn't see any sign of his favorite patron.

It Could be Worse :: Life... Could be worse.

An Anthology of Dreams :: Sans was at his desk, as always, analyzing his latest attempt at a synthetic soul compound. His last two-thousand-and-twenty trials had been devastating failures, but even Dr Gaster was intrigued by his steady progress.

The EMV Anthology :: Red had a love-hate relationship with the holiday season.

An Anthology of Nightmares :: Sans stumbled out of his room just in time to escape. He had no idea what was coming, he only knew his years of fighting for his life underground was screaming that he had to move his bony ass if he wanted to live. Just as he crossed the threshold of his bedroom into the hallway, there was a loud crash. When he looked back, his whole room was gone.

A Growing Future :: Red stumbled out of the house, squinting at the glare of sunrise peaking like a glinting knife over the neighbor's rooftops. The air had a crisp chill to it, made all the more shocking by his lack of a shirt, but he knew it would be overly warm in only a few hours, and there was a lot of work to do.

Kinktober 2020 : Kamari333 Edition :: HI FOLKS! Beyond this point you will find 72.5k words of pure, unadulterated, self indulgent, Undertail-themed SIN, ~57.7k of which was prewritten in September, the rest in October, all written and published for Kinktober2020. This year, due to conflicting schedules, the sin was written in September, to be published on time in October. A Night in the Woods :: Red bit back a curse as he once again had to detangle his phalanges from the flimsy tent material. Stupid-ass cheap plastic bullshit, so thin he could breathe on it wrong and watch it disintegrate, but the packaging said it somehow kept out wind and rain, and that was honestly all he could have asked for. That, and perhaps that the piece of shit stop snagging on his claws every five god damn mother fucking seconds, fuck-

Arum :: The room was pitch black, save for a nearly indiscernible ambiance that glowed low and dim like the twilight right before the true darkness of night. The walls and floor of the room oozed with a viscous substance that stank of fermentation and rubber. At the end of the room, upon a throne of black stone, sat a diminutive figure from whence the slime seemed to originate, itself drenched in it to the point of blackness save for the singular glow of one lavender eyelight, shining like poison in the darkness.

Poignance :: Sans Blueberry pulled on his modified gloves, rolling his shoulders to make sure his makeshift pauldrons were cinched tight enough. The scalemail he wore under his chestplate made a soft noise, not quite the clink of chainmail, but not quite the hiss of cloth or leather either. He fingered at the tiny plates over his torso before pulling his bandanna back on around his neck, grateful to Alphys again for donating her sheds, and Undyne for reinforcing them so they wouldn't turn to dust.

Those Feelings at the Bottom of a Bottle :: Ink carefully managed his supply of emotions, keeping his usual level of orange (excitement) and yellow (happiness) as he made his way back through the house. The crowd of people, with their ever-vivid colors and gold-glittered eyes, made it easy to blend in and keep himself inconspicuous to the ever watchful guardian. It was like a game of hide-and-seek: Ink hid, and Dream looked for anything potentially amiss.

A Skeleton Plague Doctor in Lord Dream's Court :: Falsi woke up from a restful sleep on his examination table, shifting under his thick black blanket (one of the few luxuries he was allowed, usually kept hidden away in his bedroom with all the other small luxuries he had managed to keep, like his collection of skulls, his beast fur pelt, his mask, and the tapes and videos of a more personal nature he had collected over the years). He slid down to the floor, thankful once again for the mercy of a windowless apartment, as he folded his blanket and stumbled into the adjacent room: his bedroom.

Bad Day :: Edge was used to getting ominous messages from Red at odd times. It was just the nature of any relationship Red was involved in.

Burlesque (Censored) & (Uncensored) :: Of all the bars Red frequented in Ebott City, this was his favorite.

Happily Ever Laughter :: It was almost midnight. Papyrus had been sitting at Muffet's bar, enjoying his third (or was it fourth? Fifth? Hard to say) glass of Spider Cider, when he got the call. He pulled out his phone, surprised. That was his brother's ringtone. He flipped it open. "heya, bro. wazzup?"

Egg on Arrival :: Slinky could feel it in his bones: the hum of his future, the tremble of his soul. Even if it was still cold as balls outside the nest, his internal clock said it was spring.

I think I'm Paranoid :: Red came back into the livingroom, popcorn in one hand and a six-pack of coke in the other. He lingered, taking in the scene in front of him.

Another Me :: Lust fiddled with the TV remote idly as he mentally went through the available channels in his head. He didn't dare cable surf, not when He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was so prominent, and Pink's relentless job searching made his schedule so erratic that he could show up at any minute. The sight of the blackout curtain over the bookshelf (which served as the house's movie collection's honored display) reminded him of how understanding Papyrus had been of the need for temporary censorship.

...oh my some of these are terrible for catching the readers attention XD (why are all my hooks like 3 paragraphs in gdi).
