MORE All-Father!Kratos headcanons because, yes, i'm still obsessed.

* kratos, as a diplomat, is incredibly stern with his tone when it comes to negotiation. this is not just because of his spartan nature: it's because he feels the need to be straight forward with the terms and conditions, otherwise war would break out again.

* the dwarves, as a thank you for freeing them from odin's grasp, crafted kratos an armour set fit for a king. he noticed the huldra brothers full brand on it - sindri had also joined the collaboration. he cherishes the armour with his heart and soul while looking after it, just as he should of done with his previous armour in the beginning. he refuses to take advantage of sindri any longer.

* speaking of sindri, kratos had managed to actually converse with him about mourning a brother. they both came to an understanding and while sindri can never truly forgive and forget, kratos always has his door open to let sindri come and go.

* in kratos' main home, many individuals of power - such as freya and sif - come and go using the 'realm room' as it's the most convenient point to travel to and from. originally, kratos had minded but mimir managed to convince him to think otherwise.

* mimir is now officially considered kratos' right hand head and advisor. the people of the (now) 8 realms as 'the all-fathers ultimate guider', as they knew he had counselled kratos and positively influenced his decisions.

* while atreus does come and go, he does act as a sort of spokesman for the jötnar. kratos wants everyone to be at peace and refuses to have a bias towards anyone because atreus is his son. atreus has deep respect for his father because of that.

* kratos had asked freya to teach him some enchantments and spells to help him have more independence in each realm. freya accepted. safe to say, kratos learnt 'falki' and can turn into a falcon for faster travel. he does not abuse it. atreus shit himself when he say a dark brown and white falcon fly towards him when kratos visited jötunhiem.

* kratos had a statue build for faye, freyr and brok to show that they were honoured individuals who did their best for the cause. kratos managed to ask sindri for permission, in which he said yes. brok's statue is in svartalhiem in a private place for close friends.

* kratos has braids and gold in his beard thanks to angrboda braiding them every time she visits. he cannot bring himself to remove them, and ultimately rocks the look.

* he returned artifacts taken by odin that he did not deserve to keep. the people were thankful.

* kratos makes mushroom quiche for his staff and close friends every friday simply because he can.

* everytime atreus returns, kratos bear hugs him in private. atreus doesn't mind at all.

Ok but just imagine Brutasha as parents! it would be so amazing because while they're both badass, Nat is usually high level badass while Bruce can be that anxious cupcake just trying his best.

Both of them are sooo sweet, but I imagine they'd both be pushovers for their little kid, maybe even it actually having to be Bruce who lays down the law while Nat just watches fondly as their son or daughter (or both) wreak havoc.

Some little ideas that won’t leave my head.

Every Saturday and Wednesday evening is movie night. They have an order of who picks the movie and someone (dewdrop) always complains about what’s picked but will always sit through the entire film completely enthralled.

Copia unofficially moved into the ghouls den. It just didn’t make sense for him to keep going back and forth between his living quarters and the den all the time, so one day he just didn’t leave.

The pack dynamic the ghouls had intimidated copia at first and he felt a little left out sometimes despite everyone making sure he was always included but once he was initiated into the pack all his anxiety diminished. He felt the same connection they all did.

Ghouls get sick, physically sick, if they’re separated from the pack for long periods of time. They all thought copia would be immune from this, not being a ghoul, but unfortunately they learnt the hard way this isn’t true when 3 days into a 7 day trip to another abbey in Italy he couldn’t keep anything down. He had to fly back home early. He was absolutely fine again within 24 hours of being back with his ghouls.

There’s a gold star chart drawn right on the kitchen wall. Each ghoul gets a gold star for good behaviour. It was copias idea to try and get them to behave a little better after he’d gotten more then one complaint about them. Mountain has the most and surprisingly dewdrop doesn’t have the least. Swiss does.

Cuddle piles. Everywhere, anywhere and anytime . The den has a massive sofa right in front of the fire that’s perfect for the ghouls and copia to curl up on around each other.

It took copia a while to get use to the purring. Especially when they were all at it and it sounds like motor race is happing. Now he can’t sleep without the sound or the light vibration that comes with it. He’s kind of jealous he can’t purr himself now.

Speaking of purring mountain is loudest. And he’s loud. One time one the tour bus mountain was sandwiched between rain and cirrus in one of the bunks and he was purring so loudly copia woke up in a panic thinking the bus was breaking down.

Copia had to learn the ghouls body language. What hiss was a good hiss or a bad one. Which thrill and Chirp were good and which were bad. If the chittering and click were good sounds or not. Thankfully the ghouls were patient with him. He’s attempting to teach them Italian in return. It’s not going well.

Sister was surprisingly okay when she learn that copia had not only a relationship with his ghouls but had joined the pack. They’d all tried to keep it hidden from her for as long as possible not knowing how she’d react but news travels fast in the abbey. She wasn’t expecting supportive but she wasn’t unsupported either. She just let it be.

Not only do the ghouls help copia get ready for a show, helping him into his robes and doing his paint. They also help him get unready after a show, gently taking the robes off and carefully washing the paint off. Copia can sometimes get a little overwhelmed after a show so he really appreciates the ghouls loving help.

TADA! MORE ALL!FATHER KRATOS HEADCANONS!!

I HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED ALL THE GOD OF WAR GAMES + LORE. THE COMICS, THE COOKBOOK, THE GAMES. so, with my new knowledge, i present a very special headcanon post.

* kratos has murals of the people he honoured in greece, including orkos and deimos. he had wanted to show the glimpses of hope of his bleak past to the realms to show things can, in fact, get better.

* he has a small festival in honour of faye! it's celebrated primarily in the old marketplaces and jötunhiem. the festival serves traditional jötnar food and it honours her victories and what she had done as the last guardian of the jötnar.

* kratos plays the lyre to mimir after many years of the head begging to hear some of his tunes. he can also play thz flute and a few other greek specific instruments.

* freya and kratos fly together when they are both falcons (as i hc'd kratos to learn 'falki' for more efficient travel). they both use this ability to watch the realms above and protect the people from potential threats.

* kratos decided to assist thrúd with her valkyrie training by being an outside source to her sparing to make sure that she begins to be more confident to fighting other people. she practically lives there now. (thank you to my friend who inspired this!! it's a huge thrúd fan.)

* when kratos blesses people, he speaks greek. he decided that his culture should be honoured despite his past. it was the gods fault, not what he was interested in as a younger man.

* his beard? oh, it is so long. it's so long and nice. very braidable!! he has a few flowers stuck in there thanks to thrúd, lunda, angrboda, sif and freya. they use it as an excuse to hang out.

* kratos, as allfather, finally takes naps. he has a little sleep. he has dreams about faye, but they're very positive after he realised that she would be very proud of him.

* when atreus comes home, the both cook together. it's one of the things they both enjoy and will continue you enjoy as father and son.

* kratos carries around helka like a baby because she makes him happy.

currently thinking abt dad!nanami and how cute and wholesome that would be bc if you guys had a daughter, he'd be the biggest simp you would ever see.

nanami would have the biggest heart eyes as he drops off your daughter to school as she waves bye specifically to him and not you. so when he turns his head back to you and playfully sticks out his tongue and chuckles, you roll your eyes and scoff.

but instead of immediately leaving, nanami lingers around the school in the drop off line to make sure his daughter makes it safely into the school. his eyes darting around to the nearby boys and girls to make sure they dont pick fun at her. cause you absolutely know that if there was one single threat to his daughters happiness, there would be a 6" blonde man towering over mere 5-6 year olds.
